Standing at a 6'7'' and having a muscular build, Boston is an intimidating man. With his hair a dark brown with the occasional specks of grey he appears to be a little older than he is. His eyes are a dull blue-grey and often have an expression of concern within them. His brows are naturally arched with an almost constant furrow. It is rare to see him smile, although when he does it can be contagious.




Personality:

Gruff with a cold vibe, Boston may seem always disappointed or frustrated with his surroundings. The man has a notable chip in his shoulder that he carries with him into every situation. He almost never jokes around, and takes everything seriously. With a soft spot for women and children, he tolerates no nonsense from men and believes that whoever is capable of working should be doing so whenever possible. Despite mistakes he has made in the past, this man is loyal beyond words and if given a task he will carry it out no matter the risks. He's known to have a temper, although when angry his demeanor remains eerily calm and quiet. He isn't known to fight or argue with people unless they really get under his skin, which when under stress, it isn't hard to do.

Bio:

Named after his homeland of Boston, Massachusetts, Boston Bolotnikov has so far had a rather fortunate life. In fact, one might go to say that up to now he has had a life of luxury. His mother, from South Africa and father a Russian-American were both successful doctors. Being an only child Boston was spoiled from birth. At the age of 18, however, his parents began to cut him off and encouraged him to begin making his own money.


Fast-forward a few years, the fire his parents lit under his bottom pushed him to pursue a career in journalism. It was perfect for him. His mother had connections, he had a desire to travel and tell the world of his experiences. He excelled at this career. Bouncing from important news papers to magazines and eventually, he landed into the world of Radio Journalism. This is where he met his wife, Marianna. Before he landed his famous radio host job, the man was a mere intern. Fetching coffee, filing paperwork and other grunt work, he made it as much of a job to impress the recently hired secretary. Years later, they were married with two kids.


How did he get to South Africa? A family reunion on his mother's side. He mother had recently become terminally ill and given only several months to live. As a result, her family arranged everyone to meet in their home town and be together one last time. Boston took his family and took off for Africa. They never managed to make their connecting flight in Nicaragua.

History

Marcas grew up in a nice, but small Bed-and-Breakfast alongside his Mother and older sister. He was happy living where he was, helping tired folk and weary travellers. Marcus always wanted to travel, especially to neat places he has never seen before.

After a lot of saving up and getting a good job, Marcus finally managed to save up enough money for a whole month-long world tour. Starting in Eastern Asia for a week, down to Africa for another. Then he would spend one week in North America, finally ending in Europe for a week before returning home. However, he unfortunately never made it to all of his dreams, finding his long trip cut short in Africa.

Preston was born to Nicholas George and Alicia George. Both being College professors at The New York University. As somebody who was born with such high expectations, Preston was somebody who could only be defined as a Fuck Up. As a young student, he received more then favorable grades. He was an unimaginable gift to his parents. Most his life, he grew up with little Woe. No dead parents, no car accident that left him deformed.


When he was 10, his parents made him attend a boarding school in hopes of heightening his academic achievements. Even there, he rarley struggled with his work. On top of that, he begun to gain notoriety from a large crowd. Quickly, he begun to gain recognition from schools around the country. Despite the free scholarship that his parents offered, Preston took the chance to study and take classes with a foreign scholars program at Nicaragua. Preston was temporarily staying at Johannesburg for vacation.

He likes to think that he can make friends easy enough, though that is not always the case. He is definitely a follower not a leader and prefers to stray from conflict. Even though he lives a somewhat mediocre life he does have a favorite past time. Poker, mostly paid on the internet. When he isn't working and sometimes while he is working he is gambling online. It is one of the few things he is decent at.

Anthony was never ambitious. As a child he lacked motivation and was fine just getting by. He carried that mentality into adulthood. He has worked at the same place since he graduated high school, the storage unit facility. It was a summer job that turned into a part time job, that evolved into a full time job. It wasn't that he was good at it but he showed up on time and never complained.


Which is why it came as surprised when he filed a lawsuit against a potato chip company after an accident using a chip in a unintended way. The bag said barbecue, how could he know throwing a few on the grill would have an adverse effects with the flavoring and cause a serious case of food poisoning. It was an even bigger surprise when he won the suit for an absurd amount of money.


He never complained much throughout most of his life. Though money was never really too big a problem he on occasion was known to gamble almost excessively. His game of choice, Texas Hold 'Em. He enjoyed playing poker and when he got the chance he would spend a day at a casino a few towns over. He was a decent player, one factor being his resting Poker Face. He had no clue what to do with this money so he thought "A trip would be nice."


He figured he would go around the world. Unfortunately he had no clue where to go so he Googled it and followed that as a guide. So after Las Vegas, Macau, and South Africa, he would head to Managua, Nicaragua for no other reason than it was fun to say. He would do what he did at all the other places he has been, eat new food, gamble, drink, and take pictures he would probably never look at. He figured he would stop after a few more trips and go back to work at the storage unit facility.

Her mother was sickly which meant that she was unable to participate in her child's life as Nyota's father was, Nyota resided in a middle-class neighborhood and her father tried his best to take care of both his wife and their daughter. It had been difficult due to the overflow of medical bills amongst other things and it became even worse when her mother was hospitalized and died later on in the night when Nyota was 17, her father began to take to the bottle to deal with the stress and Nyota was often left alone to deal with her own needs. It was when she was 18 did her father's drinking habit worsen and he tried to attack her, faulting her for her mother's untimely demise. She stayed until she was accepted for College, leaving immediately without a farewell and moving into her dorm. Nyota graduated with a degree in the Psychological field and has only now decided that a trip would be preferable, of course she hadn't intended it would end up like this.

Personality: Catherine is a bit of a free spirt. If she has her mind set on something, there are not many people who can stand in her way. Bio:


To the exterior, Catherine’s family seemed perfect. Respectful, law abiding parents who loved both their children very much and two children who looked like butter wouldn’t melt in their mouths. However, behind closed doors, it was a very different story. Catherine’s father sat on the town council; therefore this image had to be maintained at all times. Catherine and her brother led a very sheltered live as children, never been allowed to go and play with their friends without a responsible adult being there, and whenever they did stay at friends, it wouldn’t be for very long. They were even told what clothes they had to wear each day in order to preserve the image.


So, as soon as Catherine turned eighteen, she rebelled against the whole thing, getting a tattoo on her eighteen birthday and moving to Johannesburg 6 months later . South Africa had always fascinated her; the history of it in particular. She hadn’t originally intended to move there forever, but then she met Adam. Adam was the free spirt that she had been looking for. He drove a motorbike and never sat still for long. The two of them fell into a passionate whirl wind romance and Catherine knew he could give her the world. Their marriage ceremony was a small one, literally just a few friends they had picked up on their travels. But what did it matter? Nothing was going to ruin her chance at true happiness. Or so she thought. Eighteen months ago, Catherine received a message from a woman who claimed to have a child who was Adam’s; two months later another message from a girl in tears claiming that she had been seeing Adam and he never told her he had a wife. In the following two months, three other women came out and told her the same time. So that was that, she kicked him out and had the divorce papers finally signed six months ago. Although, it was a horrible time in Catherine’s life, she has always a believer of the phrase ‘the show must go on.’ She booked this trip 3 months ago, she needed to get away just for a little while.
