(A closed RP!) ~ It's been generations since the Boy Who Lived, the Golden Trio, and their triumphant win at the Battle of Hogwarts. The infamous expanse of wizarding schools happily still stand, bringing forth more magical knowledge to new prodigies of the arts, and still accepting those of all heritage and blood. "Whether we are old and bald or young with scabby knees," was never an understatement, as the homiest of homes in Europe would never sway from being a Hogwarts descriptor. While the Ministry takes quite a bit of credit for the overall success of moving forward, there have been little to no flickers in this new grand flame.

McGonagall (though regretting her lack of retirement with each new troublemaker reminiscent with the last) stands firm in her position as Headmistress for yet another year at Hogwarts. It is this particular year that the once annual Triwizard Tournament -- long forgotten and abolished after the tragic passing of young Cedric Diggory, influenced by none other than the dark wizard himself, Lord Voldemort -- is heavily considered to reopen in hopes to bring more students together in their strive for fantastical education. A little friendly competition never hurt to learn from except it did that one time.

New transfers now await their sorting at Hogwarts, from Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Ilvermorny alike. Whether they find their stay with a mix of pleasantries and banter, or nothing less than an interesting experience, or a duty is entirely up to the challenger. Tasks of dragons, lakes, and mazes will serve as guaranteed, lest we forget the Yule Ball betwixt the vigorous festivities. Let the games begin, young wizards. While you read.
