    • Fun Fact 1

      She started growing and selling her own weed a few years ago. At first it was just a couple baby plants in her room but now she's started a small operation out of the back room in the tattoo shop. She keeps the door locked and has the only key and tells Raven some lie so she doesn't freak out and lecture her.









      Fun Fact 2

      Jade has dated a handful of times but she's only actually fallen in love once, not long after she dropped out of high school. Artie Gardner had been her best friend since middle school and was the first person that Jade felt actually saw her... like completely saw her, ya know. On top of that, they loved her despite all the messy bits or maybe even for all the messy bits. The relationship lasted a good two and a half years and Jade even managed to get sober sober in that time but then, well, Artie proposed. They were gonna elope but long story short, Jade got cold feet and took off, and well, by the time she spoke to Artie again, they were over the back and forth and she just hasn't heard from them since.











      Fun Fact 3

      Jade had been taken from her mother a total of three times by CPS when she was a teenager. She was tossed in group homes or foster homes until her mother got "sober enough" to get her back aka she was fucking someone in the CPS office.

it’s true that giselle is a well-read young woman. it’s in the way that she speaks that people come to this conclusion. during her childhood, she was often praised for her vocabulary. those around her fawned over the young girl with so much knowledge. for as long as she could remember she was applauded for her maturity and poise. the scraps of praise from the one person who mattered left her craving more. the role of the quiet, polite child soon shackled her into place. with time the weight of it became bearable, something that she could place at the back of her mind.

giselle ignored the crippling loneliness that stabbed at her heart. it was due to her father’s travels that she was unable to make any lasting connections. with longing in her eyes she would listen as people spoke of friends and loved ones with adoration in their voices. the shame that she felt when it was her turn, only to come up short, was a hollow feeling. within her books her loneliness was less apparent. she yearned for it, the only constant person in her life seemed unwilling to give it and thus she never learned to ask. giselle grew awkward in the face of these emotions and hid them. it was where her love of learning sprouted. it was easy to forget that she was alone in the pages of a book, reading of civilizations that had come and gone.

though she grew up with luxuries most people could only dream about, she did not turn into a little terror. giselle grew into a kind young woman with the help of the…well the help would tend to her. she does not believe herself to be above others and tends to treat those around her how she herself would want to be treated.

【 background 】— giselle was born into a family made up of two powerhouses and thus she was held in high regard since birth. she would soon come to realize that there was little time for her when it came to her family. she grew to understand how certain things came first. her father, the sole owner of a gemstone mining empire, had little time to spend with his child. in his absence he was sure to have her learn the in and outs of the family business. her mother was no better, she enjoyed showing her darling little girl off to the public but at home they were strangers. giselle was left with the staff more often than not.

she learned the tricks of getting the attention she wanted. behaving as a good, obedient child was enough to get her the scraps that she wanted. and so giselle gripped the role tightly in her hands. it continued on for years, her act of being the perfect daughter that she could be for her parents. in school she joined the right extracurriculars, dressed in the right way, and spent time with the right people. her life was spent on autopilot for the longest time.

the news of her parents’ divorce crept up on her slowly. she began to notice the screaming matches, the way more and more of her mother’s things were disappearing from their home. it happened until giselle no longer saw her mother. the woman didn’t look back, leaving her daughter behind to live the life that she wanted. giselle had never felt more alone then. her mother had gone like she had never been there in the first place. she buried herself in her studies and other things as a result. her father remained as distant as ever.

it came as a surprise to her when her father has suddenly arrived home with an unknown man. giselle was 18 when she was told that he’d be her stepfather. the news was unexpected and she didn’t know how to react, so she only smiled and nodded. it was odd, having someone else in her home after such a long time. laurent was a kind man, a businessman who owned a number of wineries and vineyards, yet things were still awkward. giselle found herself closing off, much to her father’s offense.

things came to a head when giselle decided to finally leave home, wanting a fresh start and to get away from the place that had never been home to her. the small town of ocean’s ridge seemed like the perfect place for her and so she moved there without a second though.

TIME MACHINE
HISTORY: geneva was born to malorie fimbrez, a young girl who had just started her first year in college, and found herself pregnant after a one-night stand at a party with a rich, frat boy. the naive student figured that she was already set up with financial success and waited to tell him about the pregnancy, only to have found herself alone in it. and while malorie's parents weren't happy that their daughter had gotten pregnant so soon, they continued to help a pregnant malorie, even long after the baby was born.

baby geneva was often passed down between the hands of her grandfather and grandmother, but rarely into the grasp of her own mom. while malorie did care for her child financially and physically, geneva never got the affection and the quality time she deserved. instead, malorie finished her college years partying and sending whatever cash she could to her grandparents' mailbox.

seeing malorie's face around went from rarely to never again. and after her grandfather died, geneva's grandmother did what she could to raise geneva as her sole guardian. but by the time geneva reached her teenage years, her grandmother was in her twilight ones. instead of letting herself fall into the wrong crowd, the young girl motivated herself to pick up jobs and take care of her grandma just like she took care of her.

by the time geneva turned eighteen years old, her grandmother had passed away. and while she did still have a house to live under, the constant loneliness would be too much for her to stay. instead, she sold one out of the two cars her grandparents had left behind and used the second to get out of los angeles for good.

geneva found comfort in traveling: airbnb hopping, collecting money from part-time jobs, and visiting new places. it all allowed her to find herself and explore new things she loved to do. and during her road trips, she found that her voice was good for more than just taking orders at fast food restaurants. instead, adult gen found herself performing covers of songs in any bar and club that reached out to her, relishing in the spotlight and networking with people who would help her advance in her career.

now, geneva found herself in the small town of ocean ridge. and while she continues to sing whenever she is recommended and takes up any job offers that give her the best amount of money, her constant on-the-go lifestyle is coming to an end for the sake of her stability.

she has just enough cash to get her through a few months of rent where she currently stays and geneva plans on picking her way through life's opportunities until she doesn't have to anymore.
