Fandom Number Hunters: Character Sheet

Name: Yasuo Judōteki

Age: 10

Gender: Female

Appearance:
human_oc_by_electrical__rodent-db6tcst.png

Faction: Solo-ish, though partnered up with an Astral being named Galaxi to put a stop to this meaningless war

Personality: Yasuo is a kind-hearted little girl. She’s a timid little human and scares easy. She’s pretty soft-spoken, barely speaking above a whisper most of the time. She’s not one for speaking really, so most people assume that she’s mute. But that’s okay with her. She doesn’t like loud noises and being around a lot of people puts her on edge. She’s not one for violence or fighting at all–and it’s not just because she’s a girl or anything. She doesn’t like to see anyone getting hurt, even if they’re really bad and sort of have it coming to them. She’s also pretty naive and believes things fairly easy, which causes problems most of the time. But what child isn’t? She likes to read and write–one will often find her with a notebook in hand drawing or writing something. If not that, then a book, reading the day away. She doesn't think she's very good at dueling and mostly backs away from it if she can. Overtime however, she soon realizes that she's not as bad a duelist as she once thought and grows to enjoy dueling.

Over time Yasuo will slowly come out of her shell and be less shy and timid around people. She'll be more out going, more willingly be up for challenges that come her way and things of that nature with the help of her friends. Though she can easily fall back into being the quiet and timid kid she once was if push comes to shove. But she'll work on it slowly.

Biography: The young timid girl grew up in Sycniac City her whole life. She lived with her mother and father as their only child. She mostly kept to herself growing up, but she was able to make a few friends while she was in school. She hung out with her two best friends, Nuchi and Hana, whenever she was able to. One day, she overheard the whispers of Number Cards and how the government was looking for new recruits to help them get the cards. Being the timid child that she was, Yasuo didn't think she had it in her to be working with such powerful people. But she also didn't want the cards to fall into the wrong hands either. Not long after that, she stumbled across a Number card; 39 Utopia. The card was asking for her to help it with stopping the war that was coming. While she didn't fully understand what the card meant, she hesitantly agreed to help put a stop to the upcoming war between the three races.

One of the other two races, the Astrals, came to the young child. The Astral being called himself Galaxi. He knew plans of the upcoming war his kind had in store and wished to put a stop to it. He didn't think it was right for there to be a war between the three races and found Earth and the humans quite interesting. He didn't want to see the place get caught up in the war and most likely destroyed. He came to Yasuo to see if the young human child could help him put a stop to it all and save both their worlds from being wiped out by the Barians. The preteen had no idea how in the world she was going to help out with that, but she agreed to help him, if only to keep peace between all three species.

Deck Theme: Cat-themed

Number: 39 Utopia

Other: She'll speak in red.

Faction (Thug Kings, NHUA, Grevix, or solo):
Solo (Formerly of another faction)

Personality (Two lines minimum please, no Mary Sues/Gary Stues):
JK is reserved, often having little to say and more concerned with perfecting his deck in order to overcome all scenarios. Leaving him appearing less then caring with those he encounters.

While personally he simply has his reasons to succeed and a little touch of the perfectionist trait. He doesn't care for losing and loves to experiment with new deck types he creates, while keeping a special two on hand for regular use and sentimental reasons.

Once he was a heartless number hunter out for powerful cards and getting a job done for his fellow thug kings.... He was good at what he did but soon grew to hate the life and more so tire of the thug kings hunger for power. It would lead to corruption and their downfall... JK convinced himself and soon went into business for himself.

Though his personality may seem similar, if not the same. It's truly not, getting beyond his exterior.. You'll find a young duelist who simply cares for his cards and raising the hopes of those who grew up on the streets like him.

Believe and work hard enough, you'll make it as a successful duelist. Even if any means are necessary. It's survival and the raising of your reputation as a duelist! Nothing would seem more important to those like JK.

He is approved. Welcome to the RP!

Feel free to go ahead and reply to the RP. I've already started it so people can jump in once their character's are approved.

Say hello to my second character for this little Roleplay, guys! Torren is here to cause some problems, woo! I mean, c'mon, we need some bad guys for this, right? I have another baddie planned that's going to host a duel tournament like Mr. Heartland did in Zexal. But that'll be a bit later in the RP. Not sure how much later, but yeah.

Name: Torren Grevix

Age: 13

Gender: Male

Appearance:
495e18786b38dd53cc062298bf1b548f.jpg

Faction: Grevix

Personality: He is a rather mean-ish young Number Hunter. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and the family he works for, and he can come off cold and heartless to overs, often acting stuck up. He's very serious when on his mission of getting the Number Cards for the name of the Grevix family he works for. He'll stop at nothing to get his hands on them, even if that might end up seriously hurting--or possibly killing--people. He looks down on others that he thinks aren't worth his time, unless the cards he needs are involved somehow. Then he'll show interest. He has a hard time trusting others and will work alone as a 'lone wolf' type of guy. He doesn't like to accept help from others and will try to push them away, telling them that he can do it just fine without them. If they continue to try and aid him, he'll scowl at them telling them to do whatever they want, just not to get in his way. Or there will be trouble to pay. Over time, he does start to loosen up some however and opens up more and becomes more trusting. But that takes time of course. Lots of time.

Biography: Torren grew up inside the Grevix household. He wasn't anyone's actually child however, but one that was adopted. Rumor had it, his family was killed in a freak accident a few years after he was born, leading him to be taken to an orphanage. But he wasn't there very long. Members of the Grevix family came to adopt him. They needed more members of the family after all. From there, he did all the stuff that they would do, learning about Duel Monsters and being trained to be the best of the best duelists out there. It paid off the older he got. No one could stand up against the young boy as he crushed people after people. A never ending winning streak for him. (Until later down the road in the roleplay where he's going to lose duels of course) A good sign for his adopted family too. When news got around of there being powerful cards known as Number Cards, he wasted no time in going to search for the cards for his family's name, along with the other members that were apart of it. He would complete his mission without fail. He would see to that.

Deck Theme: Dragon based

Number: 91: Thunder Spark Dragon

Other: He'll speak in brown.

Name:
Dylan Cassius
Age:
17
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
6754591._SY540_.jpg

Faction:
Solo
Dylan is a rather haughty, sarcastic, and rude person to anyone outside his family. Dylan considers himself superior to everyone else unless they've managed to actually beat him in a duel, in which case he will consider them equals to him at best, and nothing more. The only people he would ever consider superior to him are his other family members, with the exception of his brother, Alexander, whom he considers the lowest of the low and an utter piece of human filth. So much as even mentioning his brother or the Thug Kings is enough to throw him into a fit of pure rage, usually directed at the person who mentioned it with rather painful results for them. Otherwise the only times he even considers interacting with anyone outside of his family is either when it is entirely necessary, when he is benefiting from it somehow, or when challenging them to a duel or being challenged to a duel. He generally tends to treat people outside his immediate family as somewhat less than human, like they only exist to serve him, like they are worthless for anything else unless they've done something to earn his respect, and enjoys humiliating or embarrassing them through either quite well thought out malicious rumors, or malicious pranks. Sometimes if he's feeling particularly bored he'll act friendly to someone just to lure them into a false sense of friendship and will humiliate them so badly it ruins their reputation in broad daylight. In his mind this is pretty much a him or them scenario, as he sees friendship as nothing more than a falsehood, a lie conjured up to take advantage of others. In other words he's basically nearly impossible to actually like. Due to the massive amount of wealth his family has, which he has access to, he does not care much for the law, as he can easily pay off any officers of the law that would bother him, something that you'd really expect not to work but tends to work quite well for him. In other words he's basically nearly impossible to actually like and has no real friends at all. He takes dueling very seriously, especially losses. Losing a duel can put him into quite the stupor for a while, especially if he loses from something completely unexpected or nearly impossible. He always duels with all his might, refusing to go easy on any opponents and doing everything he possibly can to make it impossible for them to win...which only works out for him most of the time before he starts just having to throw as much damage as possible at them. He treats his three decks as his most cherished possessions in the entire world, and is always tweaking them and improving upon them however he possibly can, which at times tends to actually make them a bit worse than before, much to his annoyance. To him dueling is a show of a person's true strength, intelligence, and capability, and is the only honorable way to prove superiority. Any brutish thug can get in a fist fight, or use weapons, but only a truly intelligent and skilled person can duel well. This isn't to say that he won't resort to physical violence when necessary, or when things just don't go his way, but it's not his first resort usually...partially because while he is physically strong for a person of his age and stature, he gets tired out very quickly.
The Cassius family is a rather wealthy and prestigious one, with a long history of producing famous duelists well known all around the world. Dylan Cassius is the most recent of said duelists. He has an older brother, Alexander, who is considered somewhat of a black sheep of the family as he associates with the Thug Kings, an older sister, Sarah, who is almost always participating in dueling competitions abroad, and of course a mother and father who are both retired from dueling. They are, however, unimportant in the grand scheme of things. From a very young age his parents trained him in the art of dueling, taught him how to out-think and out-play his opponent, drilled every strategy and counter strategy they could think of into his head, and trained him in mind and body to become a duelist almost as great as themselves. He quickly became known as a worldwide sensation of a duelist, famous for his ruthless and merciless dueling strategies that left his opponents with absolutely no room for mistakes if they wanted even the slightest chance of winning. Regardless of this, he's actually the second weakest duelist in his family, his brother being the weakest. About a month ago a rather strange event had happened to him. After defeating an opponent in a rather tense duel that came down to a mere fifty LP each, a man came up to him bearing a card and begging him to take it. The man forced it into Dylan's hand and ran away, leaving him bewildered as to what in the world had just happened. Regardless, he was now in possession of Number 66: Master Key Beetle, the card the man had seemed quite desperate to get rid of. He decided to keep it, as he'd never seen a card like it before, and it was a rather good card all things considered, especially in his usual deck of choice. Since then on multiple occasions seemingly random people have accosted and assaulted him in an attempt to take the card from him, which quickly clued him in on why the man had shoved it into his hands and run. He managed to "entice" one of his assailants into giving him the lowdown as to why people kept attacking him by breaking his left leg and kicking him into a ditch, threatening to crush his head under his foot like a grape if he didn't get information. It was then that he learned that there were more Numbers cards, and that there were multiple groups supposedly looking for them, including the Thug Kings, who were the only ones who were currently after him specifically and had likely found out about his ownership of the card thanks to his damned brother telling them. In hindsight he probably should've known it was a bad idea to tell his brother that he got a rare card all things considered, and it certainly explained why the worthless piece of filth ran away about a week ago, and hadn't been seen since. Well, if that was the case then he wanted to see these Numbers cards for himself, actually, no, he wanted to get all of them he could. If there were multiple groups looking for them, then they had to be powerful, or at the very least valuable, and there was no way he was going to let any worthless plebeians get their hands on something that interesting and or powerful, and at the very least it'd likely get him involved in some interesting duels that may actually be somewhat challenging. And so he rewarded the man with a swift kick to the head and began hunting down the Number cards from that day onwards, searching for any leads he could find or anyone who might be rumored to be connected to them.

(I may or may not have gone just a bit overboard with my character, whom I intentionally tried to make an unpleasant and unlikeable character to justify my choice of decks, hence my use of spoilers for the backstory and personality, which really I still felt like I wanted to add more to. I even ended up making 3 completely new variations of my usual decks for him to use. @.@ Did I go too overboard? Also if you notice any major flaws with the CS that require correcting please inform me, I do hope I made no mistakes. It may or may not be a bit of a mess since the only times I've been able to work on it so far have been late at night in my timezone. Also sorry for the rambling on here. >.>)

Name: Immer Lebendig

Age: 23

Gender (Male or Female, no need to get fancy here): Male

Appearance (Pic or description):
n4w5xt.jpg

Faction (Thug Kings, NHUA, Grevix, or solo): Thug Kings

Personality (Two lines minimum please, no Mary Sues/Gary Stues):

Most of the time, Immer is very laid back and amicable to those he encounters, and will try to avoid unnecessary conflict whenever possible. He is very quick-witted, and can react with surprising speed, contrary to his laid-back appearances.
However, Immer isn't always amicable towards others; he is capable of showing strong enmity, and is totally merciless with those who cross him or his friends, especially in regards to Aella, his student and partner in the Thug Kings. Immer is, more often than not, mistrusting of those he meets and always has a plan in case someone tries to betray him, no matter how friendly he might appear. He's willing to do almost anything to get the answers he seeks and isn't afraid to betray someone himself if he feels he needs to.

Biography (Detail is nice, but don't go totally overboard):

Immer was born and raised in Sycniac City's underbelly, surrounded by shady characters and criminal activity day in and day out. He was raised in one of the many poorly-run orphanages in this bad side of town, which were known primarily for their orphans almost always ending up in gangs.
For fourteen years, such was Immer's life. He bounced from gang to gang, riding on the success of whatever gang was currently in charge of his neighborhood before betraying them in favor of a more powerful one, using his dueling skills to work his way in. This life style often put Immer's life in grave danger, though he simply didn't care. It was, after all, he only life he had ever known.
When Immer was fourteen, his current gang clashed with a new group that had shown up unexpectedly and made a push for power and land. Many times these two gangs fought, but a victor was never clearly decided.
Eventually the fighting reached its climax one rainy night, inside an abandoned warehouse. The fighting was incredibly fierce, and the two gangs tore each other apart. Immer barely escaped with his life, hurt and barely conscious. He managed to limp out into the street before losing consciousness.
Upon waking up, Immer discovered that he was in a hospital on the other side of Sycniac, with a strange, old german man sitting next to his bed. The man turned out to be Adalric Lebendig, a world-class duelist who was in Sycniac for a tournament. He had been driving by the warehouse when Immer had collapsed in the street, though why he was in that part of town Adalric never explained. Upon being asked why he stopped to help Immer, the German man simply replied "Why, because it was my destiny to do so."
"D...Destiny? What're you talkin' about?" Immer stammered back.
"Why, you and I were bound to meet, I can feel it," said the famous duelist. "There's something special about you and it would be wrong of me to ignore such things. Tell me, what is your name?"
"I...I don' have a name. Everyone calls me 'cow' 'causa my hair."
Adalric was appalled by this. "'Cow'!? Why, that's no name, not at all. Someone like you needs a good, proper name, one befitting of your traits...I've got it. Immer shall be your name. Immer Lebendig."
"..I-Immer? What?"
"Yes, that's right," Adalric said, nodding. "It's German. Roughly translated, Immer Lebendig means 'always alive.' It's a miracle you survived those injuries, so it's only fitting. Your first name shall be Immer, and I will adopt you and make your last name Lebendig."
Just like that, Immer was given his name and thrust into a life he had never known before, with a world-class duelist as his adoptive father. Adalric taught him everything he knew, and turned Immer from a common street rat into a respectable duelist. The two grew very close, though Immer never quite understood why the man had adopted him, or moved into Sycniac.
Six years later, Immer's life would once again take a dramatic shift. Adalric came home one day in a panic, saying he had stumbled across something that threatened the balance of the world, then ran back out before Immer could ask what was going on. This was the last he would ever hear from Adalric, whose body showed up in an alley one week later, covered in terrible wounds.
Angry and grieving, Immer swore revenge on the person who took his adoptive father's life and dedicated himself into finding out just what had gotten him killed. That's when Immer stumbled across the Numbers; Adalric had been looking into them, and had died fighting against another Number Hunter. Adalric had one Number in his possession, hidden away among his private collection. Taking this Number and his father's cards, Immer has spent the last three years looking into the Numbers, joining the Thug Kings in order to gain access to more information and meeting Aella, a girl who had grown up in the same circumstances as he had, who he took under his wing in a similar fashion to Adalric had with him.

Immer is approved. Welcome to the RP! Again. XD

But wait, there's more!

Name: Aella Jäger

Age: 19

Gender (Male or Female, no need to get fancy here): Female

sega_rivera_by_rakaia24-d4qhecj.png

Faction (Thug Kings, NHUA, Grevix, or solo): Thug Kings

Personality (Two lines minimum please, no Mary Sues/Gary Stues):

Aella is very strong-willed and hotheaded, rushing into things head first with a wide grin on her face and a battle-cry on her lips. She's not afraid to speak her mind and often does so, whether it hurts someone or not.
Despite her fiery personality, Aella is loyal to fault, especially to Immer. Getting on her good side is far from easy, but once it's done she'll defend her friends with every hotheaded word and action she can muster. Aella also has a hard time of letting go of grudges, no matter how old.

As is the case with many, Aella was born and raised in Sycniac's darker side, where crime is an everyday occurrence and criminals are in every hole. She was raised in the gang-member breeding grounds that are Sycniac's less-fortunate orphanages, but unlike those she grew up alongside Aella's fiery personality and quick movements kept her out of those gangs.
Aella spent most of her early years fending for herself, stealing things from other thieves right out from under their noses and laughing all the way. Her hotheadedness landed her in a great deal of trouble, but was also the only reason she survived, as she was willing to take risks that no one even dared consider.
Eventually, these risks landed her in some trouble that she couldn't squirm her way out of--she stole a Number Card from a member of the infamous Thug Kings. With their long reach and huge amounts of power, Aella was quickly captured and the Number reclaimed. At first, the Thug Kings planned on disposing of Aella, but one member managed to convince them otherwise; Immer Lebendig. He said he could convince the girl to join the Thug Kings, and that they could use her fiery spirit to their advantage. Deciding to give his plan a chance, the boss of the Thug Kings allowed Immer to talk to Aella.
Aella spat in his face. "Join the Thug Kings!? As if! I'd rather eat my deck!"
Calm as ever, Immer wiped the spittle away. "The Kings will do a lot worse than force-feed you your cards if you don't take up my offer." He paused, then said, "Do you know who I am?"
"Some ugly weirdo with cow hair?"
"My name is Immer. Immer Lebendig."
"So what!? I don't give a...waitaminute. Lebendig? Like, that German duelist guy that got capped a year back? What's the kid of a pro duelist doin' in a gang?"
"I'm looking for information," Immer replied calmly, "on who killed him. Do you know what that card was that you took?"
Confused by this train of thought, Aella frowned at the man. "Uh, it was some sorta 'Number' monster or somethin'. Apparently their super-rare, woulda fetched me a pretty penny."
"They're much more than rare. These cards are dangerous, they're why Adalric--my father-- died. I want to know why he died over them, and I could use some help."
"Dangerous?" Aella said, smiling. "Sounds fun. Lemme guess, you want my help?"
Immer nodded. "That's right. I'll give you food, cards, whatever you think you could ever want, and in exchange I want you to work with me in the Thug Kings to find out more about these cards. Might even snag a few for ourselves along the way, could get pretty hairy. What do you say?"
Aella's grin widened. "Dangerous cards, free food, sticky situations...Where do I sign up?"
After that, Aella joined the Thug Kings and Immer in the search for Numbers, becoming quite close to him. Despite not being the greatest of duelists, she tries her hardest and has even collected a Number of her own.

Name:

Dax Jerim

Age:

17

Gender:

Male

Appearance:

17cb692dfc1078afabd52c3c300bb8fb.jpg

Faction:

Solo

Personality:

Dax is what one would consider kind, talkative, and the most lovable smartass you could come across. Despite his natural skill as a duelist he has made it very clear to his family and others that he has no intentions on making it his main thing in life. He finds more of a career in business then he would with dueling. He is also a surprisingly relaxed and level headed person despite his childish habits that he personally adores about himself. Dax also has a major problem of getting into things that don't concern him if they pique his interest, such as number hunting for economical reasons, and getting into business with a few members of the NHUA to help fulfill his goal.

Biography:

Dax was raised under two professional duelist and under a rich household where he could have anything he wanted. His parents pleaded with him to try and carry on the family legacy with duel monsters as with his natural talent he could go far in life, but he continues to reject the dueling legacy as he has other plans in life. Eventually his parents decided to accept his decision in life, but still allowed him to keep the decks they gave him whenever he felt like playing a friendly game or two.

He also inheirted a special card from his mother that she had randomly obtained from her last business trip. It was a rare card that not even he had heard of called the Number 101: Silent Honor ARK. Although he was done with duel monsters he was still grateful for the gift he mother had given him. He studied the card and tried looking it up on the web, but there was no history behind it almost as if it was just somehow randomly made without anyone's knowledge.

With a rare card such as this he started carrying his deck on him once again for safe measures. With his curiosity at it's max pique he began a knowledge hunt on his and other number cards that might be out there. He wanted to be done with dueling, but perhaps his family could make quite the profit in rare cards such as these.

Months later he began making underground deals with members of the NHUA as he had promised them great wealth if they helped him in his search. They explained to him that the Number cards give off a unnatural energy that the other cards don't and that they had been working on a device that could locate these said energies. They handed him a cellular looking device and explained to him that the closer he gets to another xyz card the more the device will vibrate. It also shows arrows to tell him where exactly the card is allowing him to find them much easier then anyone else. He also told that there many hunters and other factions as well after these cards so he would need to be careful.

After his little meeting he began to put the device to use in order to hurry and find the cards before anyone else could. He had even hired a few family friends to keep a lookout for the cards for him to maximize his effort in the hunt for the rare cards that everyone seems to want.

Also, did you mean 82 instead of 86? The picture you put has 82.

Plus, did I do the deck type correctly?

The deck theme is just basically well what it means? What's the theme of your character's deck? Take Saru's character. HIs is basically Shark's which is water-themed/shark related, but with other stuff added it. But, I would say so?

Okay. I had no clue what to put. Could synchro/ritual monsters also be in my deck?

Okay. I had no clue what to put. Could synchro/ritual monsters also be in my deck?

If you want I suppose you can? Though I could prefer to keep to XYZ-themed since that's what Zexal was mostly about, but you can do whatever with your deck.

I just have one. How do I enter the Rp without messing up what you guys have so far?

I just have one. How do I enter the Rp without messing up what you guys have so far?

That's something you'll have to figure out friendo. I can't exactly help you out with joining the RP. You'll have to figure out how to add him in without messing stuff up. I doubt you could even do that, to begin with considering we're still rather early in the RP. But, um...

I dunno? He could be exploring the city or something and come across the duel and watch on along with Yasuo and Torren? -shrugs-
