Abilities: Nova has the inborn ability to use hypnotic powers with her right eye, which is completely gray underneath the eye patch. The stronger the spirit of the person she is trying to hypnotize, the more difficult and time-consuming it becomes, though she has had years of experience, giving her a heavy and powerful advantage. She prefers not to use this ability though, as it has the critical side effect of making her completely vulnerable to her emotions for an amount of time that is in relation to how much energy she spends while using the power. Meaning she won't be able to hide her emotions at all, turning her into someone dangerous to the people around her, as well as herself. While she can hypnotize people, this ability is not to be confused with mind control. She can send people into a trance. She can't tell them to do anything else. And she keeps her abilities a secret.
Talents: She has a knack for guns, and has been professionally trained with many of them. She can hit a target 50 feet away with an average pistol, and she won't be seen without a gun. If one is taken from her, chances are she has 2 others hidden somewhere. Her hearing is incredible, she has mastered her capability of flight, and is quite light on her feet, as well.
Weaknesses: She has been known to break down after she's used her hypnotic ability. Usually she's a deadpan sort of gal that is difficult to get to, but when she can't control her emotions, it could put many people, including herself, at risk. Hence her only using her powers as a last resort.
Personality: She tends to be a no-nonsense sort of character. She doesn't care about anyone's tragic stories, and she hardly cares about her own. While on the surface it would seem she lacks a certain sense of morality, that is simply not true. She just puts money before morals. If she's not getting paid, she'll do the most morally acceptable things. She isn't opposed to bribery if needed, and she's willing to do the dirty work that nobody else wants to. That is, again, for a pretty price. She hates not being under control of her emotions, as that is a poor representation of herself, as well.
