Ketzar Space Station

The space station is the only one of its kind so far away from the Reksh'an homeworld. It orbits a small exoplanet that orbits both stars Alpha A and B in a infinity pattern. Both suns can be seen at nearly all times from one side of the station or the other. The station is a research station first and foremost and equipped with simple living quarters, small lecture halls and a handful of laboratories. The council meeting to introduce the human race to the intergalactic community was here because as of yet humans do not have the technology to travel out to the central head quarters of the council. The station is new, clean and well-kept. Occasionally you may run into a flustered Reksh'an scientist that has had her research disrupted for this political parade that has invaded her quiet station.

A makeshift council room has been set up in the Southern quarter, in one of the vehicle hangers (The vehicles have been moved). It will be crowded, but functional.

Nova One

View attachment 158180

Classification : Experimental Interspecies Effort (EIE). Due to its status as a prototype, the EIE has no proper universal designation. When classified in terms of size, it is generally assumed to be a slightly larger-than-average corvette. Though it is able to land, its size and density makes doing so rather costly; as a result, unless an extensive stay on a planet's surface is planned, the ship is generally left in orbit while shuttle-craft are sent to and from the planet.

Primary Drive : Mychae Industries He3 Fusion Drive

Secondary Drive : Inversill Type 3 Warp Generator

Armor : Titanium/Duranium interweave with chroma-reactive overlay.

Primary Battery : 4 interlinked Hellbore rail cannons (3M diameter)

Secondaries : 4 internal missile launchers (25 round ready magazines, 200 rounds deep storage, type 2 breachers maximum payload), 4 external hard point pylons capable of mounting decoy drones or ship killer missiles (1 each, maximum payload of 25MT, can only be loaded when grounded or docked), 20 laser emitters, 10 dorsal, 10 ventral.

Point Defense : 2 main control stations,1 dorsal, 1 ventral, each controlling 3 equidistant installations consisting of 2 rapid firing laser emitters, 2 auto cannon (25K rounds ready magazine, 500K rounds deep storage), and one counter-missile launcher (50 round ready magazine, 500 rounds deep storage)

Personnel requirements : 180 nominal crew, 80 minimal crew (plus 50 Security/Assault personnel)

Maximum cruise duration : 6 months

Maximum warp capability : 30 days in warp

Parasite capacity : 1 Heavy Fighter - Moltar designed

                              1 Light Fighter - Reksh'an designed

1 Recon Fighter - Valknir designed

1 Heavy-lift Shuttle (Can be used as an assault shuttle with the addition of Thermal Lances) - Vosite designed

Shield Generation : Q'rethnar Shear Generation System (Generates a plane of intense gravitational shear about the vessel, diverting 90+ % of incoming away at right angles to the craft.)

History : Shortly after the conclusion of initial Council deliberations regarding the Unknown Entity, the Council sent an inquiry to the Institute for Interspecies Collaboration in regards to the feasibility of the construction of a ship capable of serving the needs of a wide range of galactic specialists, while simultaneously playing to individual species' strengths. When the initial report came back favorable, the Council approved a longer research period, during which a series of potential designs were submitted to the council. Upon the conclusion of a second council meeting, during which the Entity situation was declared to be more dire, the Institute was given permission and Council funding to produce a functioning prototype, which was privately tested, before being unveiled to its future users at the beginning of their mission.

The Spectralite Intelligence Union provided initial technical designs, and assisted with additional design theoretics throughout the construction process. The Reksh'an provided mechanical maneuverability systems, and Quality Control regarding the usability of all available ship components by as many species as possible. Vos engineers were dispatched en-masse throughout the galaxy, given clearance to reverse-engineer potentially promising technology for the rest of the planners to utilize. Internal biological comfort and monitoring systems were prototyped and implemented by the Aule'wae, who also contributed their diplomatic files to the effort to ensure that as many artistic sensibilities of individual races as possible were included within the Nova One in order to promote off-duty mental health. Internal holographic and computational systems, as well as external shielding prototypes, were provided by the Patronus Scientia, the latter with extensive assistance from the Lunishan, and most available on-board weaponry was granted from the stocks of the Ascended. Parts were gathered, indexed, tallied, and shipped by trusted and designated Qu'illium traders, and constructed in record time by Valknir workers stationed in the finest Lunishan orbital factories. Though the Typhloids had no direct influence upon the ship's designs, what few that integrated into galactic society were consulted for the sake of improving on-board medical systems. The Kosaritrez, of course, facilitated the entire process from start to finish. Religious leaders from a variety of cultures and species collectively blessed the prototype in the name of their various religions prior to its unveiling.
