Appearance; Silky, ink-black locks that trail down to hug the back of his neck, ruffled and untidy especially at the ends. As a Neko, he of course has cat ears, which are the same shade of his hair with a silk texture; the insides are a Persian pink with hints of crème fluff. The shade of his eyes are a vivid garnet red, a splash of ruby irises. His relatively pale skin contrasts against his more colourful features. On his throat is a rather bright and noticeable red band (a collar), on which hangs a small ruby with glimmering facets. It’s cut in the shape of a gardenia, Ruby carved onto one of the petals of the red gem. His frame is tiny and fragile, but his naïve, childish nature emits a gentle and aloof radiance. Part feline, his cat tail extends to quite a length, and is rather soft and ruffled just a bit. His attire often consists of winter varieties, excluding scarves and gloves (which he never wears) as he likes to be snugly bundled up, although he does like casual clothing as well, such as hoodies or sweatpants.

Bio; Damien was born in New Zealand to a Neko mother, his father…”using” his mother (Ashe) as she desperately needed money. She loved her son very dearly, and after his birth she became a “Pet” to Alissa, (basically, that meant she was a maid and served her “Owner” like so) to get pay. Although Alissa was kind to them she treated them in a pitying way, as if they were simple pets. Ashe, not wanting to raise her son to believe that was simply what he and other Neko’s were, managed to save enough money to start renting an apartment; still needing money though, she resorted to begging out on the street when she wasn’t working multiple part time jobs. A rich man, the director of a renowned hospital, took pity upon her. He took in both Ashe and Damien (whom was five at the time) into his home. The man (Adam) fell in love with Ashe’s sweet-temper, which also housed a daring fiery soul, as she fell in love with his passionate, warm-hearted nature. About a year later they married and had a child. The child was a Neko like her mother and brother, and was named Addylen. However, soon after their marriage, many criticized Adam for having a Neko as a wife, most (especially the wealthy, whom he often worked with, being rich himself) considering them but pets of a sort. His status quickly degraded to drastic measures, and in the end he divorced Ashe and tossed them out on the street. With two children to take care of, Ashe was hard pressed on money to raise them. She once again lived in an apartment, and did whatever she could to scrounge up cash. For several years she lived like this, Damien an innocent twelve-year old and his sister, Addylen, six, when a tragic accident occurred- his mother was terribly injured and went to critical care in a hospital. A nurse attended to Addylen and Damien, but while going of to the bathroom Damien was kidnapped. Telling the young Neko that his mother was better and outside waiting for him, a man tricked him into following him out to the parking lot, where he also convinced him to get into a vehicle. Kidnapped, Damien was then shipped to America to be sold on the Black Market (as Neko’s were on high demand there) after being transported on a smuggler’s boat. After being bid on, he was sold as a pet to a girl a little younger than him, she being the daughter of a wealthy man. She treated him cruelly, often taunting him over his family or feline characteristics, or painfully tugging his ears and tail. The girl was spoiled, and whenever Damien tried to defend himself she would cry out and make it seem as if he had attacked her, resulting in him being punished. For two years he endured this, before he managed to runaway and escape. Homeless, alone, and without a clue of what to do the fourteen-year old Neko was taken in by a kind old woman after she found him collapsed at her doorstep; he had gone doorstep to doorstep, pleading for someone to help him, but everyone else just kicked him away. Happily, he lived with her for another two years. One day whilst out in the park though, he was chased by a pack of wild dogs. Running for his life Damien ran far away, becoming lost- he was also injured, having a wound carved into his back when he had struggled beneath a fence to escape the dogs, also acquiring several bites and such. He survived; but was simply lost.

Personality; Despite having a relatively abusive past, Damien is a rather cheerful Neko with a childish nature at heart. Most would describe him adorable in his cattish, naïve ways, with his playful and occasionally mischievous manner, along with his purring affection. He’s such a sweet-heart too, hating for anyone or anything to be in pain, with a selfless compassion. However, despite so he is more of an introvert truly, as he dislikes strangers (absolutely loathing to be pet or touched by them). First impressions last on him, and depending on how they first treat him he may be skittish around new people. If he gets attached to someone and is fond of them, he can be rather clingy, and although he doesn’t like attention from crowds or strangers he just loves to be dotted on by those close to him, soaking up the attention like a little kitten. Speaking of such, as a Neko he has several cat mannerisms, such as playfully biting or licking others and giggling, as well as being afraid of dogs, whether large or tiny. Out of habit, whenever he’s nervous or excited or such he usually wrap his tail around things; his wrist for anxiety, his waist defensively, or if he doesn’t want someone to leave he’ll sometimes wind his tail around them in a pleading manner. Damien is quite affectionate and doesn’t really understand personal space (excluding himself), and actually isn’t flustered too easily. In his naïve nature, he also doesn’t understand the cruelty and harshness of the world, nor why so many people treat Neko’s as if they were lesser than them, believing everyone should be treated with equality and compassion- but to those cruel and abusive, he is simply terrified of, and is too perplexed, confused, and admittedly scared on the whole “compassion and equality” with them. With his childish ways though, he is often forgetful and cheery, not thinking of things of that sort. If he’s upset, he’ll pout and such but can never hold a lasting grudge. Despite being not so easily flustered, he is abashed by praises from those he doesn’t know, but enjoys it from his friends. With his friends, he is likely to get specifically attached to someone, loving them immensely and adoring their affectionate, disliking to be apart from them. Due to Adam abandoning his mother, Damien does have some abandonment issues, often needling constant reassurance that someone is there to stay, although he loyally and whole-heartedly trusts them. Responds sweetly and with a smile on his face- Damien is, by all means, adorable and loveable.

Trivia; The gardenia-shaped ruby symbolizes his innocence, and was put on him just before he was smuggled out. He is strangely attached to it, the reason being because he considers it to be on the only things he has from his old home before he was shipped off. Red was chosen to match his eyes and so to contrast against his skin- it’s also his favourite colour, and he prefers red hoodies and such to other colours. He fears hospitals due to being kidnapped in one, and doctors as he feels threatened by them (Adam being the head of a hospital and all). His ears and tail are also very sensitive, and he often purrs if he is pet like a cat, arching his back and nuzzling as well. Damien is considered an innocent sweet-heart.
