So I have an idea for a story.
picture earth during the modern era. Industrialization has become spread throughout the world becoming a serious threat to nature.
The planet came up with its own solution, a way to protect its natural world.
The Yavimaya.
The planet found humans around the world who were seperated from civilization, hermits, recluses, forgotten tribes. Many were chosen to become Yavimaya.
Now all throughout the world battles wage on different scales. In some places lumberjacks find the trees fighting them back. Where as in others entire cities have been reclaimed. The military has finally begun to find out about the Yavimaya and now that they know their real opponents the real battle begins.
In this you can play the role of a soldier or government agent who has become a part of the Civilization defense agency, or even a normal human who supports the Yavimaya, or you can play the role of a Yavimaya group known as the reclaimers who have become the worlds most feared terrorist group after taking the cities of New York, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, Paris, and Tehran. You can also play the role of a Seperate Yavimaya who works alone, but no Yavimaya will help the military to capture the others for reasons that will be explained later.
The Organizations of mention.
Civilization Defense Agency *CDA: a global government organization formed after the Rise of the Reclaimers. They currently have a nearly limitless budget and access to state of the art technology. This organization has no registered leader instead it is operated by 4 admins and several information specialists who answer to a panel of the leaders of the United States, Russia, China, NATO, Japan, and Iran. These countries have led several assaults against known Yavimaya settlements in Africa, and South America, further fueling the conflict.
The Reclaimers: a gathering of powerful and motivated Yavimaya, though they possess nearly no money or technology they make up for it with immense power. Six months ago they made their debut by simultainiously taking six of the worlds biggest and most important cities, they have established military bases with powerful defenses that have yet to give the militaries a single inch of ground.
The Yavimaya:
this race is split into several catagories and sub catagories.
First it the Primary
Plant: Usually a specific type of plant, but not a species. Specifics include Flower, Tree, Fungi, Moss, Algae, orchids, and so on. No one has mastery of all plants.
Animal: Like plants this is divided in families. Such as Birds, insects, reptiles, and mammals. Choosing a specific animal will grant the user a far more focused version of the animal power.
Elemental: The rarest kind of Yavimaya, Elementals can be Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Lightening. No combinations can exist.
The sub catagories:
after the primary is determined you will have to pick the sun catagory.
Form: this means you can take on the form
of your primary.it generally requires a very specific focus, like having a specific species in mind. This allows the user to take a form such as, a treeman, a were tiger, or a Water woman.
Control: this is primarily a mental based power, akin to the kinisis abilities, it allows the user to control their primary with their mind such as Pyrokinisis, or the ability to control animals, or manipulate plants.
Genisis: this is the rarest ability (pm me before making this) this means you can spawn your primary in mass. Such as water or locusts or rats. The user may or may not control the thing they summon to an extent, but this control pales in comparison to what a Person with a Control sub Catagory.
Universal Yavimaya powers.
All Yavimaya share a connection with the earth itself. This allows them to actually seek out and communicate with one another Via meditation. They also will heal faster in a natural setting, and are immune to disease. Most Yavimaya have a primal physical capability making them 70% stronger faster and tougher than a human.
Also a Yavimaya will never be attacked by nature. This prevents Yavimaya from directly using their powers on one another, but a fight between two Yavimaya is still impressive to behold. They can indirectly use their powers on one another, like if a lighting Genisis were to shoot a bolt of lightining from their hand at a fire hydrant behind another Yavimaya, but he couldn't hit him directly, the bolt simply wouldn't hit him. Also Yavimaya become compleatly impervious to their Primary. For example is a Yavimaya has a tiger as his primary, no tigers claw could scratch him, nor would they ever attack him.
