ninja extraordinaire
Eight mercenary Shinobi have been brought together by a mysterious benefactor, promising them an exorbitant reward for tracking down and capturing a powerful, but elusive target. Trouble is, the guide that their benefactor provided is stingy on the details and vague on who, or what, their target it, and as tensions in the group arise, the problems only spiral from there.
Hi there! Welcome to the interest check for my unnamed Naruto RP set during the Warring States Era. I'm looking for anywhere from 2-7 people interested in joining
Concept: The characters are all shinobi from the Land of Fire of renown skill who have been brought together by a mysterious benefactor, who promises them an exorbitant reward for capturing a powerful target. The thing is, the guide the characters are saddled with is suspicious and stingy on the details on who they're after. As this would be set during the Warring States Era, I want to specifically focus on the characters being from different backgrounds, who initially don't get along. The characters themselves can be Shinobi from canon or original clans, and I can either creature vague roles for people to use as guidelines for characters (ex: The Tracker, The Apprentice, The Brawn), or include specific skillsets that that group requires (ex. Genjutsu Specialist, Sealmaster) and let you guys come up with the rest.
Whether or not characters that canonically existed during this time exist here can be ambiguous, for example, if a character wanted to be from the main branch of say, the Senju Clan, then they're more than welcome! I want to encourage people to play around with concepts they like! (: I also kind of want to avoid the powercreep that slipped into Shippueden, where it became less about the ninja and more about the, well, y'know. Whatever the heck that was.
Anyways, let me know if you're interested! I'm not super well-versed on how RPN works, but I wanted to get back into RPing and I've been really vibing with the Narutoverse lately. Feedback and constructive critisim is appreciated!
