Ahoy there, matey! Welcome to the high seas of the pokémon world. You find yourself living life at the beginning of a new era. The world as we know it is about to change, for piracy will soon be entering a golden age, and you have an opportunity to seize this opportunity before your rivals do. You are just a humble sailor armed with maybe a flintlock pistol or a sword; and your trusty pokémon partner.

You're a member of the Blue Trailblazers. An obscure group established three years prior to the start of the RP. The Blue Trailblazers originally formed off the coast of Pallet Town in Kanto. Their first ship was The Maritime Merriment which has travelled to many regions.

The Blue Trailblazers History: The crew was founded by a woman named Redekka. Though at this time the crew was called Redekka's gang, featuring a red 'R' for her crew's symbol. The Blue Trailblazers wouldn't form until nearly five years later.

Redekka was originally a high ranking sailor from Hoenn who left with with her trusty wingull. It is believed she fled Hoenn before she could be charged with theft, corruption and two accounts of of murder. Her initial gang consisted of burglars, pickpockets, occasional misfits and a few loyal sailors that fled Hoenn. Their base of operations was within Kanto-Johto waters.

Despite the group's criminal members, not all members were nefarious evildoers. Some were just people seeking a better life or to see the world. Over time a rift would form between the crew members and after four years, it would come to a boil which lead to Redekka's first mate Buck Gamble would lead a mutiny when he refused to attack the merchants of a stranded ship. When the crew members loyal to Redekka began the attack, that's when Buck and the crew members loyal to him staged their mutiny and take over of the ship. Leaving Redekka and her crew members to find their own way back and mutiny crew used her ship formerly known as the Red Wavy and soon to be the Maritime Merriment.

The next three years would see the Maritime Merriment undergo many repairs and upgrades and while some of the crew members would abandon sea life, others would stay for the long haul and some would soon join for a chance of glory and fame as a pirate. Unlike the previous group, the Blue Trailblazers would follow a loose code of honor.
