I'm posting it here cause I'm thinking about making an RP with these ideas. Everything is subjective to change and it might never be turned into an RP but here's my draft. I'll edit it over time probably. Add to it or take away.
Feel free to critique or add opinions or questions. I may not have an answer but I'm open to suggestions!

'The fantastically ordinary world'
Congratulations! You live in a magical world, but slow your rolls and put your wands and spell tomes down please. This world isn't quite what you think and magic isn't sonething you can neccesarily see nor cast like a fireball but is a subtle thing that manifests over time.
The world you live in is called Soluna. Solunais a large continent with various races. There are large mountains to the north which is dominated by the elves. Elves live in high towers that reach for the heavens.
To the western side of Soluna is a marshy swampland and forested areas. It is inhabited by orcs. They live in huts and tree houses.
To the east are the shores of Soluna. There are many caves deep along the coastline. Most are partially submerged in water and require swimming to reach the underground cities of dwarven land. The cities themselves are not underwater them but usually inaccessible outside waterways. Some dwarven cities have multiple entrances that do not require swimming. Sone dwarves live in floating houses in the fishing village of Rahm.
To the south is the hot deserts of Soluna which is inhabited by humans. They live near the scattered oasis land.
There are existence of other races but thet are uncommon. Some live in their own villages and keep to themselves and live their lives the way their ancestors intended. Others have adapted and coexist amongst the main four races.
There are three forms of magic which include soul, spirit and blood magic.
Soul magic is the binding of one's very essence with an object. Soul magic can be infused with any anything. A weapon like a sword or tool like a shovel or even an instrument like a drum. The stronger the user, the stronger the bonded item. It becomes a regular item in the hands of anyone other than its bonded user. A powerful user of this magic may have a sword that cuts far more easily than it should, a bell that rings far louder than you'd expect.
All life has a spirit. Spirit magic manipulates that. People, animals, and even plants and insects. People have black souls. They are sentient and can easily resist. Animals and to a lesser degree insects, have gray souls. Plants have white souls. Spirit magic is oftentimes used by shamans and herbalists as well as animal tamers.
Blood magic is the most common form of magic. It is self improving magic. Users of this magic seek to improve themselves physically whether the user wishes to become physically stronger or faster or think quicker. Extremely powerful users can lift double the weight a normal person could or twice as fast as a normal person.
