Name: Victor Saltzpyre
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:
Fandom: Warhammer Fantasy; Warhammer- End Times: Vermintide
Personality: Witch Hunters seek to punish those who dare employ fell sorcery or consort with the agents of the Dark Gods. When battle rages and the conjurations of vile wizards burn the skies above, Witch Hunters are often all that stands between an Empire soldier and a most unnatural death. Victor’s obsession with the Skaven has unfortunately led to friction with his superiors, preventing him from being promoted to Witch Hunter Captain. Additionally, his lack of objections towards working with other races separates him even further from his fellow members, even if he draws the line at not allying with anything outright evil or daemonic. Some dare say that Victor is compassionate, a trait generally lacking in most witch hunters, but Victor never directly shows it. In Victor’s eyes, the end justifies the means, and he is ultimately willing to fight alongside anyone as long as they are not apparent enemies of Sigmar and the Empire.
Description: Victor Saltzpyre was the son of a talented blacksmith who found work with the Order of the Silver Hammer. While apprenticing for his father, a Witch Hunter Captain recognised Victor’s raw potential, and sought his father’s leave to train the boy. Victor survived the gruelling witch hunter rituals, where many do not, and eventually embarked on a life-long battle against the foul creatures blighting the Empire.
Twenty years later, Victor was hunting a Vampire’s thrall. The girl had once been daughter to an influential burgomeister, whose great fortune had been built on mining. After a thorough investigation, Victor discovered his prey by a warpstone seam, deep in her father’s mine. As he prepared to strike, a band of Skaven sprang from nowhere and attacked.
In the wake of a long and gruelling struggle, Victor emerged from the mine, sorely wounded, but alive. He’d lost an eye, but had gained renewed purpose in exchange. Soon after, Victor learned that the Burgomeister knew of the Warpstone in his mine, and had profited greatly from it. Not content with a single act of treachery against his Emperor, the scoundrel had been covertly selling it to both the Skaven and the vampire who controlled his daughter. It had been only a matter of time before one customer sought to eliminate the other.
After hanging the burgomeister, and those merchants he deemed accomplices, Victor walked away a changed man with grander priorities. He scoured the land for information about the Skaven, and sought assignments that bore the telltale signs of their involvement.
No one knows for sure what exactly happened in the mine, or why that incident became such a life-changing event for Saltzpyre. To this day, he has never divulged the details. Trust is not a coin a Witch Hunter deals in, but perhaps… just perhaps… a warrior strong enough to share the burdens of his quest will learn the secrets of Victor Saltzpyre, Witch Hunter of the Order of the Silver Hammer.
Backstory: Victor was present during the End Times, where all hell broke lose on the old world. His particular hell? Was the skaven invasion of Ubersreik. With four other companions, Victor butchered his way through hordes of skaven, attempting to drive them out of the city. It all ended in climax with the defeat of the White Rat. However, the witch hunter would uncover the skaven's true agenda: To rule the multi-verse, a concept almost forign to him. But what was not, was the fact that he needed to purge these creatures, and it would seem his duties were just expanded. He sent his four companions, a dwarf, a wood elf, a sergeant, and bright wizard, to warn the Empire of the dangers of the skaven. Teaming up with a dwarf slayer engineer known as Malakai Makaisson, who was able to build a similar dimension traveling vessel out of the skaven's own plan, the two set sail into the multiverse, a place beyond the realms of chaos. What they would find on the other side? Not even Sigmar knows.
Powers/Abilities:
Fencer- The rapier requires a level of finesse that the witch hunter has become skilled at, stabbing and parrying with great skill.
Cleaver- Aside for his rapier, most of Victor’s ranged weapons require a good deal of cleaving power
Marksmen- Not to shabby of a shot with his ranged weapon
Gun akimbo- Capable at dual wielding pistols
Knowledged- As a witch hunter, Victor understands many of the creatures of the old world as well as enemies of the Empire, but especially skaven.
Equipment/Gear: (Can take one ranged weapon and one melee at any given time)
Consumables: Such as bombs and potions, especially the speed potion.
Melee:
Rapier/Pistol- With the Rapier in one hand, Victor is a master of the thrust, slash and parry, achieving a deadly balance of precision offense and agile defense, while discharging his pistols in the other.
Hatchet- While the One Handed Axe might be less graceful than the Rapier, Victor cannot deny the satisfaction of cleaving into one rat-man after another, watching armor rend and limbs fly.
Braces of pistols- Out of Victor's favorite weapons, our Witch Hunter carries a great number of Pistols strapped to his body, allowing him to pick off enemies with lethal efficiency. He seems to have a near infinite number of them to be simply fired off and discarded, how he carries all of them is as much as a secret as what happened to him in those mines.

Notes:
- For the backstory, think of it like this. Your character encounters a group of skaven gutter runners(Ninja Ratmen) scouting your universe out, and along comes this man, his name: Victor Saltzpyre. You two would then proceed to butcher these ratmen, before Victor explains to you that these creatures, these ratmen, are invading the multiverse. How you choose to describe it is up to you, but that's the basic of it.
- Just list out some general equipment your character will bring, they can "unlock" better equipment later, or take it from the universe they will venture into.
- A like means ya character is accepted
