The Elder Gods do not believe the humans are fit to defend themselves properly, so they've offered Shang Tsung a deal. Have a tournament, Outworld vs. Earthrealm. If the Earthrealm loses, then ...in his infamous words...their souls are his.
With a myriad of warriors who've trained since their births and have mysterious features about them, how can Earthrealm stand a chance? Don't worry....
The Shirai-Ryu, Lin Kuei, The Special Task force of Sonya, Jax Briggs, and Johnny cares along with the Shaolin monks of Liu Kang and Kung Lao, the Earth has its fighters too.....
