Fantasy Moonlight Beginning Characters

Name: Kara Simmons

Age: 19

Bio: Kara comes from the Ash Mountain Pack, so named because the mountain they inhabit was once an active volcano. Now dormant, it provides everything they need to survive. She is the daughter of the Alpha, though not his heir since she had an older brother. She also has a younger sister. Kara’s father never found his mate and when it was time for him to take over, he was forced by his father to find a girl who would suit him. He did fall in love, but both he and his wife always felt like they had a pull somewhere else. A few years after Kara’s youngest sister was born, her mother was killed by a large bear. Something was wrong with the bear, and the kill happened because she was protecting her pups from the bear. The death took its toll on everyone, but for her father, it wasn’t like losing a mate and he was able to move on. After that Kara tried her best to look after her little sisters so her father and brother could focus on training. When her father went off on trips to meet with other packs, it was always her brother who went. But then one trip, to visit the Moonlight pack, she knew she needed to go. She thought it was a sudden need to learn, but she didn’t realize until they arrived that it was the mate pull, trying to bring her closer to where her mate was. To a pack they had been working hard to try to form an alliance with. She was past her coming of age, and a part of her that was still a romantic was always looking for her mate.
She is a good kid who values family, but the death of her mother took a toll on her. It was because of her that she and her siblings were out that fateful day. It was because of her that the bear found them at all. She shielded her sister from having to watch, but she saw everything, and it still haunts her dreams.
The wolves of their pack don’ have an Elite. Everyone learns how to fight and fend for themselves, everyone is taught that protecting the Alpha is important. But only a few continue to learn to be defenders, while the rest learn how to keep the pack functioning in other ways. Kara was a defender, it took a lot of push for her father to allow it, but she would not take no for an answer. She wanted to be by her brother’s side to help him, she also learned to heal.

Name: Marcus Simmons

Age: 25

Bio: Marcus is Kara’s older brother and the Alpha-born of the Ash Mountain Pack. He is quiet and serious, but he loves his sisters to death. He had been the one to get their mother when the bear attacked when they were children. He respects his father and everything he tries to do to keep their pack alive and thriving. They are not one of the bigger packs, and they have the fewest number of cursed wolves, but they all see each other as family and they protect each other as such. It was hard for him to let Kara go when she found her mate in a different pack, but he knew the pack would keep her protected and that she would be happy. He has not yet found his mate, but his father is not forcing him into anything like he had been forced. While his father and mother loved each other, they both knew their bond was never as strong as it could be.

Name: Lucy Simmons

Age: 16

Bio: Lucy is a girl who always keeps to herself, and almost never talks. She has not yet come of age, and Kara leaving is hard on her, but not as hard as it was on Marcus. She was always closer to her older brother, despite spending almost all of her time with Kara. She was 4 when they were attacked by the bear and she lost her mom, and a part of her always blamed Kara for that. She still loves her sister, she just doesn’t see a need to hold her back from being with her mate. She doesn’t see a point in talking period. She learns what she is supposed to and makes sure she will be around to help her pack however she needs. She is a healer, she never wanted to fight, and so healing seemed to be the best route. They do not have as many wolves who learn this, and it was one of the few ways she and her sister were able to connect.

Name: Alpha Rufus Simmons

Age: 47

Bio: Alpha of the Ash Mountain Pack, he is a strict man but a caring man. He loves his children dearly and he had loved his wife. He never found his mate, but after losing his wife, his focus became his pack and his pups. He trains with Marcus daily and is ready to step back. Meeting with the various packs has been to get Marcus introduced to their allies and to let them meet who the knew Alpha would be. So far he has been received well. Meeting with the Moonlight pack was supposed to be Marcus' first time forming an alliance. Rufus went along to make sure things went smoothly and because his reputation was known and he knew the Alpha of the Moonlight pack could be difficult to deal with. He understands that, protecting their packs is what is most important.

Name: Arthur Aaronsdale


Age: 21


Appearance:

Extra: Arthur is the Alpha Born of the Moonlight pack, near the break of war. He is being trained in battle and he is obident to his father by all means, but he has a soft heart. He has not found his mate and his father has decided that their strongest ally will be his betrothed, but Garrett is a stubborn and hard to please wolf and finding a match to his liking is nearly impossible. But Arthur understands what has to be done and hopes to find his mate before the time comes for him to be betrothed to a wolf for power.

Appearance:

Extra: Alpha of the Moonlight pack, and is nearly impossible to deal with, he is known for respecting his Beta and taking her advise, but he is also a wolf that most do not want to deal with. The Moonlight pack has been at war for years and has grown in respect and power, but even with that, most allies try not to have to deal with them, because Garrett is so stubborn. They have many allies, but rarely call on them to help in their battles, which is why they are still a good pack that others would ally with, because they are powerful.

Name: Sophia "Soph" Diana Aarondale

Appearance:

Extra: Soph is part of the Elite, she is powerful and a warrior with no limits to what she can do. She doesn't take orders like most Elite, but she doesn't train with them, so that is why the pack favors her. She trains the wolves to fight, the young wolves to protect themselves, in case the war reaches home and she never acts like she is better then anyone of the wolves, even if she is Luna.

Appearance:

Extra: Arthur's younger brother and Lauren's twin, otherwise called War. He is young and foolish in many ways and likes to train with his mother and sister. He plays jokes and is usually lectured by his father. But he never wants to stop having a good time.

Extra: Arthur's younger sister and Warren's twin, she is like her mother, a fighter and trains a lot, even with the Elite. She is not like her brother, but there are rumors that she is not all there either. She has a twisted sense of humor and a powerfully crazed way of talking when she is getting at something. She has a way to make her smile look almost threatening and sometimes she can scare those in her pack.

Name: Kevin Keith Oleman


Age: 20


Appearance:

Extra: Kevin is Arthur's best friend and his Beta in Training, training under Julius, he is going to be Beta one day. But there is no changing the fact that he isolates his emotions. He is the youngest of two, his parents died when he was very young and Soph took care of him when his older brother was not in the picture. His older brother is an Elite, like their parents and although Kevin acts like he hates him, deep down, he is all that he has and the perfect brother to Kevin. Which has recently shown, as his brother was killed in war. Only formally he is called Kevin, but informally, like his brother, Soph and Arthur he is called by his middle name, Keith.

Name: Elam Singer

Age: 43

Bio: Rufus' Beta, they grew up the best of friends. Elam watched the Alpha's children grow, and became their 'uncle' of sorts. He takes his role of Beta very seriously and would do whatever he had to. But he also adores the children he has come to love. He did find his mate, almost as soon as he had come of age he found her. She is his entire world and he does not mind giving up his role of Beta, especially because it might mean he can spend more time with his beautiful mate.

Name: Josephine - Josie - Heartland

Age: 23

Bio: She is Marcus's Beta. She is fully ready to take over the role, but is waiting until her Alpha and her mentor tell her it is time. She and Marcus did not start as friends, in fact they could hardly stand each other as children. But as they got older that changed. They trained together often and worked excellently as a team. They soon became friends after that time and thick as thieves. Josie is incredibly loyal and will do anything that is required of her to perform her duty as Beta. Even give her own life willingly. She is fierce and an incredible fighter.
