Relations / Various Information in Out of Character Chat

Your childhood was a blur, moving from one place to the next, witnessing the horrors of siege and battle, and even nearly being killed. You are now a young man, and a candidate for your fathers Khanate when he dies, your only true rival being your brother Kolak.

Currently you sit in your fathers Great Yurt, besides you are your siblings, and other various young people. You're watching two men fighting, practice swords but all the same it is great to watch. Soon, one best the other, and your father Dashmuta Khagan rewards the winner, and has them both escorted out.

Currently, there are no spectacles, and the court is simply talking. Now would be a time to converse with your friends and various people.

Outside of the tent you see the great grass plains. All around is your fathers khalasar, large, with hundreds of Yurts set up.

A guard goes up to you, "Little Kha, your father wouldn't like you being out."

You hear arguing and fuss inside of the yurt.

I roll my eyes at the guard. Hearing the arguing going on inside, I walk in to see what it's all about.

You see what has evolved into some sort of battle. You're unsure who's fighting who and quickly the guards who just talked to you rush in, with drawn swords.

After looking around you see your father getting stabbed in the gut, and falling over. Your little brother is being taken by some people, friend or foe you're not sure, and your brother Kolak is fighting some one.

Soon enough you see a man with a drawn sword moving towards you.

(Sort of related.)

I draw my iron saber from my side, looking back quickly to see if the guards will be at my aid.

The two guards are currently busy fighting other men, but they seem to be on your side as they didn't just stab you in the back.

Quickly the man moving towards you swings his sword towards you, but rather weakly.

I use my saber to parry the strike, then counter his swing with a slash to the face.

Your slash to the face seems to kill the man, or at least disable him. The guards who were preoccupied also kill their attackers, and begin speaking to you.

"Young Kha we must get away from here, gather as many people loyal to you, and get what you can! Before it's too late!"

Amidst the chaos, I manage to grab my bow, arrows, and mount my horse. I ride with those loyal to me and flee into the great grass plains.

While fleeing you managed to get a small group of riders to follow you. You ride in the great grass plains but eventually find a nice stream, and decide to set up camp.

Soon enough more riders come in, loyal to you.

CHECK OOC FOR KHALASAR INFORMATION

After a few nights rest, and some hunting done, I reassembled the horsemen and continued riding to the south east. There is a substantial supply of food. Some men do not have armor, but are armed with bows on horseback, while others carry spears and are lightly armored. I am wearing a suit of lamellar armor and a tasseled helmet that was salvaged from the mutiny.

On your ride you encounter another splitter group from your fathers old Khalasar. It is led by a warrior named Uka'duka, who was a blood-rider of your father.

It is customary to approach him with only one guard, your guard being your best friend Nergui.

I order my men to stay behind, but be ready to take action if necessary. I tell my bodyguard Nergui to come with me as I ride to speak with Uka'duka.

You meet with Uka'duka.

"You boy have many men, I join if you can beat my champion in battle, but if not, your men become my men. Accept?"

He says in his basic and some what stupid tribal tone.

After a bit of contemplation, I come to my decision.

"I accept. I will have my champion here, Nergui, duel yours" I say.

"You have that right little Kha!"

He says.

Soon enough your two fighters clash in a song of steel and blood. Nergui seems to have the lower hand, constantly backing up and blocking attacks, rather then attacking himself. He gets in a few slashes and cuts on his opponet, but nothing major. However, his opponet slips up, and Nergui stabs him in the gut, and he falls over.

"Your champion win little Khal! I am yours and so are my riders!"

"Good. We will continue riding to the southeast, until sundown. We will make a camp then"

Nergui remounts his horse and rides beside me.

You ride for awhile, and Nergui speaks out.

"You should have fought him, it made you look weak."

"I will fight when I need to. I won't risk my own life and ruin my dynasty before it begins"

I ride a bit further ahead of Nergui to avoid talking further about it.

Nergui understands this, and you ride forward. Eventually night falls and your tent is pitched. It's nothing compared to your father's tent though.

I'm laying in bed when I smell meat roasting over a fire.

I look outside the tent and see an Antelope that was killed on the hunt. I walk outside and greet all the men. I see Uka'duka out with them.

I ask "So, how many men did you escape with? How did you get out of there?"

Uka'duka looks to you with a big hunk of meat in his hand.

"I kill and people follow me because I kill best. I get ohh I don't know. Fifty fighters?"

I nod my head in approval

"Your riders will make a great addition to my forces. My plan is to travel to the southeast, uniting any khanates or finding anyone else that has split from my father's empire. We will need as many fighters as we can get."

I walk a few paces away, turn back and say, "Then once we reach the rivermouth, we will turn our gaze to the northwest", then continue to walk back to my tent.
