  Devin’s mom runs Magpie House, an art gallery in downtown Calgary, and he’s been working there in various capacities for a little over ten years now. Despite the nepotism that got him the job in the first place, he’s very good at what he does.

  Cocky, charismatic, and certain that he’s the most clever person in any room, Devin can be incredibly abrasive. Running mostly on espresso, red wine, and spite, he’s constantly in motion and juggling multiple projects at any given time, both personal and professional. He has a not undeserved reputation for being an asshole, which he'll cheerfully admit to, but he's definitely not out to hurt anyone who hasn't hurt him first--he's just self-absorbed and a little careless when it comes to other people's feelings, though he's fiercely protective of anyone he considers his.

He doesn’t talk much about his life before he was adopted, though he does still have a strong American accent.
