The Original Chef Kitten
So I've been a fan of the Mecha genre of anime for sometime now. Something about giant robots battling it out gets my blood pumping, so I decided it might be fun to create a roleplay on it
! Now obviously you don't need to be familiar with Mecha anime to join and enjoy this roleplay, you just need to love giant robots and space ships!
Now I do happen to have a story in mind, at least a rough draft, but before I get into that I need to inform you of what the expectations you should have for joining this roleplay.
1. I plan on making this a slower going roleplay, with long and more detailed posts. I have wanted to test my literary skills for a while now, so I think I'll make this advanced or intermediate. If you are not confident with your writing (I certainly am not
), as long as I see you are trying I will be able to accept what you have as long as it is longer than a paragraph and comprehensible.2. It's anime inspired, so expect a couple references here and there, I do love them :3. Though keep in mind you will be exposed to the fandom, pictures and everything of the sorts. So if you really hate anime, there may things that will piss you off, but that shouldn't deter you from joining. If you ask nicely, I'll keep the influence to a low :3.
3. This will take place in space, because space is the best. Anything + Space = Something cooler. This also means I get to write up a more expansive universe as well though.
That should be all you need to know, other than some personal stuff about yours truly. I am a weirder roleplayer, sometimes with bizarre and far-fetched ideas, however I will not turn down assistance and suggestions. I am patient and lenient to most things, unless you disappear without good reason. That really pisses me off. I enjoy a good OOC chat, which I believe does wonders for a roleplay. !Now for the story! (Shortened, so that feedback and changes may easily be incorporated.)
You are either a pilot or engineer of the space hanger known as the Dawn Drifter. For many years now the behemoth of a ship had been under construction and hid away from the public, however after much testing, it can finally be used to reclaim much of earth's territory outside their solar system. Armed with several Gundams and Space ships, the IGSC (Intergalactic Space Corps) sends it into the earth's orbit. Though in an unexpected turn of events the earth is attack by an alien society many light years away and destroys much of it and soon conquers it in a matter of days. Few ships escape, however the Dawn Drifter was luckily one of them. Whether you be a Gundam (Giant robots practically) Pilot, a Space Ship pilot or a worker on the actual portable hangar and armed vessel, you strive to reclaim the earth for your own and exact revenge on the persecutors.
