The price per barrel of oil drops as US ramps up Shale Oil production, thus beginning the 2nd golden age of the United States, as it closes out a swift recession. Russia's ruble falls to a new low, as banks begin to panic scrambling on how to fix the economy. China offering financial aid to slow the fall, however with a fragile economy such as itself, it cannot risk bracing Russia.

As things began to improve, the US retook the world as the greatest economy, and begins making strides on its infrastructure, which was crumbling for years upon years. The US Military, asked Senate to reopen a dozen canceled military projects, one in certain, the Exosuit. Russia exits the Ukraine, still holding on to the Crimean Region, and eventually invading Belarus, a neutral state. The US demands Russia withdrawal. NATO troops are pushed to the border quickly. Pushing to the brink of war between NATO and the Russians. The Chinese however, intervene and form a new trade alliance with the Russians, and the US begins to back off, unwilling of a possibility of a third world war. The US completes the Missile Defense shield.
Russian Troops are hastily prepared on the border, and dig in for a second cold war. Ukraine, a NATO nation, is still under clashes between government forces and rebellious territories close to Russia.
France pledges full combat support against ISIS after terrorist attack shocks its homeland, ISIS already securing large amounts of land in Iraq and Syria now comes under attack from a Kurdish Army, with Foreign Legion training. ISIS falls apart later on in the year.
France completes the sale of three carriers to the Russian Navy, despite US concerns, for an already second cold war.

A design was approved by the DOD to be manufactured in 2018 when materials were sufficient for the first combat ready exosuit, with prototypes already have been developed, they were improved. The Ruble finally shows sign of Improvement as the Dollar is still going strong.
The US is outproducing every major nation in Oil.
The US builds the first prototype Cold Fusion Reactor and places it inside an Aircraft Carrier. The prototype manages to output the typical nuclear control rod controlled reactors by over 300%.
Cancer is cured by a health organization compromising of every major nation in the world.
