History: Reiko grew up looking up at Mt.Fuji, always wondering what forces could create something so big, so majestic. Growing up she aspired and worked towards being the best in everything she could. In school, Reiko was at the top of her grade, gymnastics, art, music. Everything she wanted to achieve, she did. No matter what it took. One day she met someone, a girl who beat her in every single way. No matter how hard to she pushed herself Reiko could never beat this girl. It became her obsession to come out on top, no cost too great. She began to practice using a knife, explaining it away as getting into survival training. No one questioned Reiko's motives, it only seemed natural for her to try new things. They weren't wrong.

She waited for the perfect moment. Planned every last detail. She had the other girl begging for her life under the gaze of a blade hungry for blood. Reiko had won, had come on top, the feeling was intoxicating. So rather than harming her rival, she decided to politely suggest that they give in and serve her. No longer was Reiko second best. She was on top, just as she always should be. At least now she had someone to carry her books, massage her muscles, tend to her every whim. When Reiko moved out of Kaisei to Tokyo her former rival begged and pleaded to let her go with Reiko. For the first time in a love time, she felt sad. Remorse. Still, she shrugged off the girl and left without a word.
Two years later and the thoughts still haunt Reiko. The cost to be at the top was her soul she guessed, but she was greedy and wanted it back. History: Kanno's earliest memories was the aftermath of a car crash, and being the only survivor. In the driver's seat was a police officer, and to his right was his old friend; both dead. The next thing he remembered was waking up in a hospital, where the police sat with him and tried to explain what happened. Before the crash, an officer received a call from a young man, saying that his friend stumbled in drunk, and was now attacking his little sister. The officer arrived, but the drunken friend reportedly started a fire in the house, and the officer took both of them in for questioning. However, during the drive to the station, an unfortunate crash occured, leaving Kanno as the only survivor. Kanno blanked out and did not hear him explain Himari's death by bludgeoning.

Kanno was diagnosed with amnesia, and despite the hospital's best efforts, could not contact his parents. They could not even find their location, and Kanno couldn't remember his past. He managed to piece together his life based on scraps of knowledge he heard. Apparently, he was a photographer, and a skilled one at that. He lived alone and had one friend and little sister. As his home was burnt down in the incident, Kanno had to live in an apartment. He wasn't entirely alone, though. His little sister, Himari, was still here and joyful as ever. She would sometimes disappear or somehow sneak across places without his notice, but being around her put a smile of Kanno's face. He did not know why people glared at him when he played with his sister outside, nor did he care.
