So I've had this idea floating in my head for awhile now, and I'm wondering if anyone could be interested in maybe roleplaying it. I'm open to brainstorming more onto the idea (of course), and would love to hear some opinions on it.
Commander Shepard led the united forces of the alien species to attack the Reapers on Earth. The battle was long and bloody, but the forces seemed to be coping will with their losses, and pushing back their opposition. Things were going quite well, that was until Shepard got into the Crucible, and was faced with the decision of what to do with the Reapers. After some thought, Shepard decided to Control the Reapers, why lose an outlet such as giant fighting machines right?
However when they went to take control over the Reapers, something went horribly wrong. What it was exactly has remained unknown to many, but what they do know is that instead of leashing the Reapers, the Reapers leashed Shepard. The indoctrination left Shepard controlling the Reapers and forcing them to wipe out all forces. A very small percentage of the troops were able to escape, those who weren't so lucky were destroyed by the person they had looked up to- their savior.
That was almost eight years ago now. The Reapers are stationary in what was once Council Space, bringing down anything that comes within their boarders. Some believe the key to the Reapers destruction is to bring down Shepard. But nothing has been known about the once human Spectre, only that it is likely that they are still on Earth.
Our roleplay would focus on the lives of the humans and aliens in The Terminus System, the "lucky" survivors from the Reaper War, the civilians who have since taken up arms, and the criminals that now run rampant. And the struggle to try and reclaim what they lost.
Consequences/Species Updates:
- The Genophage was cured, and the Krogan were eager to start a new life. However Tuchanka was destroyed, along with a large majority of the Krogan population. Clan Urdnot (including Wrex) were listed in the fatalities of the war. Even with the Genophage cured, they are slowly going extinct.
- The Salarians were well off, considering that they didn't throw their lot in with the Commander (to a large degree). Most were able to escape with the Dalatrass out of Council Space. The Dalatrass has since passed on, and a she has a new replacement to govern the remaining Salarians.
- The Quarians had finally made peace with the Geth, and things were going to be better on Rannoch. However the Quarians took substantial losses during the war, and like the Krogan are slowly beginning to die out.
- The Turians were one of the biggest forces in the Reaper Battle, countless Turians gave their lives to make sure that the ships could retreat from the Reapers grasp. The outcome was that they were almost all but obliterated. Besides criminals and deserters, there are barely any Turian veterans from the war.
- The Rachni Queen was saved (both times), however most Rachni were wiped out during the Reaper war. The Queen, along with a small number of soldiers were said to have escaped, but they have not been seen since the Reaper War.
- The Asari managed to come out of the War better off than most, despite them losing their homeworld, and a large portion of their forces, their high number in criminal factions has helped made them one of the most numerous species in the Terminus.
- The Humans are scarce and few. With Earth destroyed, and all Alliance forces being brought down, it has crippled their numbers. The loss of their hero, and the Normandy have both impacted their hope in a good future.
- The Batarians, Drell, Volus, Elcor and Hanar have all but gone extinct. The Drell and Volus fair better than the others, but it's only a matter of time before all four are gone for good.
- The Vorcha are mostly all in tact, outside of those lost in the Omega invasion, and those who went off to fight in the war with Aria.

- The Normandy crew have all died. Their ship was brought down shortly after Shep's indoctrination.
- Cerberus has been wiped out, but there are rumors that there ate those trying to restart their efforts, though not in a human-exclusive manner.
- Aria and her Omega forces took a lot of firepower, while some got away, the Queen/CEO, of Omega herself did not make it out of there alive.
- The Turian and Human military's have been completed wiped out. You hear a scatter tale of a soldier who got out, but it's only once in a blue moon.
