  • C-sec Investigator division agent
  • Veteran of the Battle of the Citadel

Personality: She is woman of few words but by no means shy or reserved with a direct and no-nonsense manner with a sharp sense of humour at times. She takes a careful and measured approach, always remaining level-headed, trying always to deal with matters analytical. Therefore, she rare to showiany strong emotion, which can make her difficult to read. She is a caring woman, though may not appear so with her direct manner, doing anything for those she is considered close to.
Role: Intelligence officer and biotic specialist
Background Intel: A pureblood born to farmers in an agrarian colony on Asteria, her status was never an issue due to the remoteness of the colonies and the sedentary nature of the colonist leaving precious little options for them. Life was hard enough as the planet with high temperature even at the poles where the colonies were and the work required on the farm. However it was soon discovered she was a biotic, rare for those of the colonies and a powerful one as that. The local huntress noted this and offered her a place in their ranks when she was of age. It was certainly a change for her, a country bumpkin by asari standards, she had never thought though often dreamed to be in space. It was a tricky start, she had to learn and get used to things quickly and often enough embarrass here, but she sound found her stride and served with distinction. She was known for a keen eye for detail and analytical, as well as a powerful biotic.

However she was not satisfied in military service, she enjoyed the sisterhood and all that but failed she was underused. Combined with the restlessness that came with maiden stage of her life, she left the huntresses and travelled earning her way as a mercenary travelling from place to place. She never stood in one place for more than a couple of years, beginning some odd adventures. All the while she got into mysteries in all the forms and liked nothing more than trying to figure them out before the book gave the answers and wanted to become a detective like the detective stories of old. Eventually she found herself in the Citadel and tried to get into their investigating divisions. It took several years but finally found her niece as an investigator specializing in e-crimes. In that time she got into writing and had a moderately successful side gig as a crime writer in her spare time.

Things changed at the battle of the Citadel, her combat experience meant she was sent to aid the c-sec security task force holding off the geth in the Presidium. She served well but was injured in the process and spend several months in the infirmary. When she got out, she returned to work investigating a series of e crimes finding connection with previously unrelated murders and other crimes. It wasn't long that she suspected a greater conspiracy was afoot. When she put forward her findings, her superiors recommended her to task force CIU where she learned she was right in the worst way possible.

Gear:
•Customized Pressure/Breather suit armor

•Solaris Biotic Amp

•Cipher brand Omni Tool

Weapon/s:
•M-92 Mantis

•M-4 Shuriken

Training:
•Biotics training with the Turian Cabal Vanguard

•Specialized combat training for Volus operatives & their specific needs/abilities for combat

•Improved Tech skills training to assist with better usage of the Volus specific armor and it’s requirements to offset Volus limitations

Career History:
• Merchant assistant

•Volus Military Commando

•Turian Cabal Vanguard

•Veteran warrior with a diverse & considerable resume with accommodations for service.

Personality:
Some would say he’s a charismatic dreamboat and others would question how he was selected to be put in charge to start with. A swelled ego can blind his decision making and lead to a tendency to take risks far too often, as one of the rare biotic Volus warriors out there instead of one your typical dead common traders and merchants, Tak has developed a confidence and courage few among his kind has ever shown…. The true opposite of the stereotypical Volus.

He’s quick to act and quick to think, rarely giving in to the risks and fear it might bring with it sometimes to the detriment of logic and reason. Often a life of the party kind of guy or so he thinks with a outgoing and party centric demeanor and air about him.

Long story short he’s a go hard, aim high or die trying kind of guy with a quote that goes something like this….

“Names Tak cause it’s all about what’s in back, baby. Oh… yeah!!” -Tak Vorla often accompanied by *hip swivels & arms raising the roof with a small twerking motion* “I like to move it, move it, I like to… move it!!”

Oh and this kind of quote “I think things and they happen. I’m a biotic god of luck and charm baby!” - Tak Vorla often with finger guns and clicking sounds.

And this can very well sum up the self pro claimed Biotic Volus God.

Role:
CIU Operative & Captain of the CIU Phoenix

Background Intel:
A divorcée once married to an attractive earth clan woman before years of his personality and ego, risk taking, careless behavior drained the woman of her tolerance and love for the charismatic, singing, dancing Volus commando. Tak now lives the single life constantly on one ship or another off for yet another mission seeking his ultimate adventure, all the while partying his nights away and catching those tunes baby!

A rare biotic of his kind with perhaps a even rarer personality type and drive. Tak doesn’t care for credits and economics like most of his kind so, he gets it, he lived it and worked it from the merchant side for awhile during his youth. He believes his economy assistance comes by booming the credibility and value market of the Volus people that he believes will ultimately land them a long overdue spot on the council. A take that’s drawn much ire and distaste for his presence among certain classes of people.

He served with the cabal vanguards during his training years in part due to the relationship between his people and the Turian’s and because they were perhaps the most likely and only choice for his biotics training. A lucky risk taker that all but worships Cherk Sab and is one of the luckiest individuals to walk about the galaxy, Tak has survived countless risky ventures during missions, been given far more credit then he perhaps deserves with some of the damage he’s done and people he’s irritated and unwittingly offended a few times over.

While receiving promotions to new ranks and opportunities with the latest being granted to him as the new captain of the CIU Phoenix and ranked as a CIU operative within the newly established special operations unit of the council. (A role only given to him in efforts to get rid of him more often and throw the Volus a bone of opportunity. A tease of a council seat to keep them happy and hopefully quieter) Tak is merely a pawn in their game though he’s oblivious to it all.

Talents/Non Combat Related:
Great karaoke & Dance partner
Novice trivia expert
Skillful/fearless combatant
Incredibly lucky (often luck aids his carelessness & slips of the tongue)
Incredible sniper & overall shot

Other:
Often references the deity of luck, Cherk Sab and tends to be rather lucky himself.

  • M-77 Paladin
M-77 Paladin.png

Training:
  • Physical training in Palaven boot camps
  • Actual Combat & Tactical training in Turian field unit
  • Commando expertise against Cerberus
Career History:
  • Soldier in the Turian military
  • Historian for the Turian Hierarchy
  • Consultant & special agent
Role: Second in Command (SIC) officer
Personality:

Metro is definitely a very calm person, and often quiet. When on a mission, he always try to deal with things in a peaceful way. Yet, in the good ol' turian fashion, he won't hesitate to have a gun (not necessarily his) shoved down the impertinent's throat if it meets a dead end. Otherwise, Metro is very tolerant, and prone to give second chances. Rarely third. Something he will have a hard time admitting though, is how, when he can, he might take the chance to have others do the hard and/or dirty work, rather than doing it himself.
Also, he's pretty bad at maths.

Background Intel:

Metro has always been in the weaker half of the Turian average. From his earliest age, he was much less interested in physical work and activities than most boys and girls of Palaven. Which led him, in addition to his natural tendency to quietness, to relative isolation. But that honored veteran father of his wouldn't let him a choice about his lifestyle. Upon reaching his fifteens, where all Turian enter in service of the State, he was, despite his reluctance, pushed into boot camp to join the military. After fourteen months of particularly harsh training for the rather soft guy, young Metro was assigned to a field unit in which he served for several years. He had by then become strong enough to meet the standards of his fellow soldiers, but barely. To compensate this, Metro had quite extraordinary capacity of keeping is cool, as well as good tactical and analytical senses that came in handy more than a few times. Skills that were praised by his superiors. Given Turians' culture of "one be at one's place and be competent in it", this is what prevented him from ending up expelled, and therefore of disappointing his progenitor.

When he was in his division, Metro often found himself in company of members of the legion's staff of historians (actual lore thing btw, look it up). Their position was held in high regard of both soldiers and the rest of Turian society, as they were entrusted with the existential mission of writing the chronicles of each legion. Their battles, their victories and defeats, all in great detail. As soon as he could, Metro oriented his military career with the goal of becoming historian himself. After more than ten years, both on the field wielding rifle, and at his desk studying History with a big H, he managed to become a full time researcher in the domain.
At this time, the hot topic among historians was comparative study of Turian and Human History. It's indeed been theorized that, after the Relay 314 Incident (the First Contact War), another conflict between the rapidly advancing humans and the turians was a terribly likely event to come. One that could annihilate a larger portion of known space than even the Krogan Rebellions.
Metro spent years working on humanity's case. While it was at first with the cold eye of dutiful scientist, he slowly but surely found himself fascinated by the Earthlings' cultures and civilizations, notably thanks to the pronounced taste in human music that he developped. As he delved into his studies, the Turian found himself feeling more and more distant to his species.
Metro finally released a rather exhaustive work crossing historical, military, biological and socio-economic sources. Its thesis, stating that human nature was inherently chaotic and that mankind shall thus be analyzed under that angle, eventually made its way in historian and even some strategist circles, where it gained a niche but solid popularity. This led him to be hired as tactical consultant in special operations of various sorts, all closely related to humanity. Quite a few times did these operations were about Cerberus' doings, and Metro even took the head of several special units for missions against them.

This is the kind of experience that made Metro Saezarryx be handpicked by the Hierarchy to participate in the special squad team of the CIU Phoenix, against that ex-Cerberus admin and his superhuman army. As SIC officer, his phlegm would hopefully be here to temperate the captain's overactive and unpredictable behavior. But sending Metro on that shady mission of doubtful outcome (especially for its members) was also a way to unoffically get rid of him, whose increasingly unorthodox views regarding turian society had put him in a delicate position.

Talents/Non-Combat Related:
  • Knowledge & General Culture
  • Human languages
  • Self-control
  • Mediocre piano skills
  • Even poorer guitar skills (How are you supposed to do that with three fingers, damnit!)
Other:

Metro has a complicated relationship with his father, claiming that he couldn't care less about his opinion, but still wishing to make him proud of him eventually. It's been years since they've actually talked to each other, though.

Weapon/s:
M-11 Suppressor
M-9 Tempest
M-92 Mantis ("Lucinda")

Training:
Combat Training
Tech Training
Espionage/Commando Training

Career History:
SIU (Special Intervention Unit) 7-Years
Batarian Military (Non Special forces) - 3 Years
Blue Suns- 2 Years
Mercenary (Solo) - 3 years

Personality:
A typical cigar enthusiast with a dark sense of humor. Once a proud SIU operative and military man turned Batarian rebel with a cause. He despises old and out of touch traditions of his people, finds their caste system a scheme for credits and lining government pockets with more creds, giving them more power and keeping themselves ahead of the game, while ignoring obvious opportunity for the growth and advancement of their people.

Easy to understand why he hates politics and especially politicians. Though some like that Asari councilor are easy on the eyes. Almost tempts the mind.

Overall he's not a fan of his people's very public "Okay" with Slavery and trade. Hates outdated caste systems and loves fine cigars, strong drinks, fine company and getting shit done. What more need be said? Should be informed to those working with him, he's a blunt man, no facade unless it's necessary. Just plain words with simple enough meaning for all to understand, though being a Batarian doesn't make life easy or free of stereotypes. While his intentions can still be unknown at times, possibly due to his ability to sound blunt and simple but hide truths when needed or desired.

Kind enough, fair but tough is the short hand for this man. Often found on Omega in the Afterlife where in his opinion, stuff happens and company is very fine.
Role: Recon & Infiltration specialist
Background Intel:
Born Kartok Don'Gavarn in 2152 to the wealthy and deeply tied to the slave trade, Don'Gavarn family on Khar'Shan. Kartok was blessed with great caste and grew up amongst the elite in Batarian society, however this was never a point of pride for him. When your family is deeply woven into the fabric of slavery and trading of sentient life.... It's most commonly a fact to be Ashamed of within other societies and races, yet not here, not on Khar'Shan. It was integrated into their traditions practically, it was a insult to the Batarian people, discrimination by the council races and citadel law to have such restrictions and laws against it. It was basically part of caste and government. Slave trade brought credits, wealth, wealth bought caste, caste brought status amongst the Batarian, we all know how power is gained from there.

But despite early on disagreements about his people's history, their self imposed reality of limits and strength in council society and the citadel space. Standing amongst other races being poor and weak in comparison to most others. Their ethics. A outdated system and blaming of others for their problems to propel them forward in theory and keep them afloat. It was all foolish. Yet despite his views, Kartok grew up playing the game, hacked systems to fudge his age and looked out for himself, his family needn't his aid after all. Joined the Batarian military and its Paper strength form compared to older times and other military operations. They weren't as well known as the Turians and Salarian, Asari and even Humans or Krogan military. But they existed and Kartok sought what he thought was "Proper" training in order to advance himself through other ways, outside of slave trade his families business and paying the hedgemony for caste, we all know who truly gets the credits and holds power after all. Least in Kartoks you mind they did, he did. Not desiring to help the authority gain further power, he joined the military serving for three years before joining the SIU, Batarian special forces, enduring the harsh training and excelling as one of their operatives over the years.

He dealt with politics, opposing extremists, colonies who the hedgemony saw as pests to rid themselves of and take over said settlements. A list full of operations that ran quite long and far in his seven years playing the game and being amongst the best the SIU and Batarian race had to offer. But growing hate for politics, reminded hate for slavers and outdated caste systems, foolish pride and finger pointing, excuse making oppressing his people's potential and betterment led him down a new path. Kartok became the rebel with a cause that perhaps he was destined to become.

Angering his family, disowning them and they he in the process, removing the family name and his birth given one in protest and final removal of their stain upon his chest. He imposed upon himself a exile, vowed never to return to his forsaken, politician cursed homeworld and left in loud, defiant statement to his people and left. But not before freeing some slaves and ridding worlds of slave trade operations one base at a time, while trying to free further slaves in the process. Now calling himself "Peros" the former SIU commando went on a run of statements in Batarian controlled systems and blew up cargo ships and bases to act as his calling card.

Finally moving on from atonement of his actions or so the man thought by freeing those he once allowed and in come cases helped enslave years before. Peros signed on with the Blue Suns for some Mercenary work and learning of how exactly they operated, staying on for two years before getting fed up and realizing he wasn't helping his case with this lot. They were hardly better then his people's slavers and pirates. Plus some of the leaders just really pissed him off.........

Once more Peros made some statements. Using his past training and tech savvy ways Peros hacked into terminals, datapads, ship computers and altered key details, stole credit transaction Intel and took the credits for himself to fund one hell of a "Gone Rogue" statement and final screw you! To the bosses he greatly disliked and hated. He wanted to make headlines and become a legend in some sense of the word that would forever be tied to the blue Suns organization.

And if things went well, he'd have one hell of a celebration party on Omega when he was through. So it was settled, operations in progress, and yes it was plural. Peros had several small, discreet and secret operations underway to undermine blue sun plans and ventures. Just a tweaking for some fun and get them on edge, once they were good and pissed, the real fun would start. As expected they were sloppy at first, going off emotion such as anger instead of collected thought needed for real counter tactics. Allowing for Peros to buy some time and set up other infiltration operations and base by base dismantling before a final explosion to really piss them off and finalize his statement.

But his conscious started to get the better of him, not wishing to atone a second time for great wrongs and oversights. Peros started to take longer, work harder at thorough pace to ensure innocents were kept out of the line of fire and freed when and where he could. It almost led to his death by blue Suns hands, that really...... would have soured his party celebrations and much of his drinking that he would surely do. But I'm the end it was worth it, people caught in the middle or trapped as workers and prisoners by the blue Suns were freed on the bases he targeted on Xawin.

This led him down the path of lone Merc traveling the galaxy on others creds and getting shit done at his pace and his choosing. No more hedgemony, no more caste and slaver influence, no more blue sun bosses to piss him off. He chose who he worked for and who'd have his protection, who died because he was hired for the job and so on....

Especially no more politics. Least for the most part.

Peros has become a Batarian rebel with a past and details hidden through his security conscious measures. Working who he decides is worth of his services and how much they are willing to offer him. His services don't come cheap even if he's picky and prefers keeping decent folk alive. A noted presence on Omega namely Afterlife as a patron and silent, occasional ally of Arias. A service trade agreement that remains in tact putting both parties skills and resources to good use in favor of mutual benefits.

Talents/Non-Combat Related:
Tech Savvy
Historian Adept
Tactical prowess/Chess player
Mixologist/Drink expert
Other:
Lacks the temperament for leadership, years of Batarian politics and bullshit have dwindled his reserves for such roles and the requirements for them. Prefers solo operations as proven by his famed betrayal of the blue suns and destruction of their bases on Xawin, freeing trapped prisoners and workers to solidify his gone rogue statement.

Hates vorcha with a passion. Very prejudice toward their people.

Works side deals with Aria while on Omega, leading to free drinks and company of her dancers whenever he's on Omega, which is often. Though the company never goes beyond drinks and conversation, flirting at their table. Admires their beauty but doesn't try for more then mere company.

Peros is formerly Kartok Don'Gavarn.... A self imposed exile of Khar'Shan and high ranking operative for the Hedgemony. Disowned his family name and birth name upon exile and vowed never to return. To further ensure security of his personal Intel and Dossier from leaking beyond himself and those knowledgeable of his past actions and operations, plus basic info such as lineage and caste, he's gone to great lengths to black out such details and leave little about him to be learned. Though skilled and dedicated operatives and hackers could bypass his measures with enough opportunity and time.

An associate-friend of Tak’s with intel for the crew and potential ally/occasional companion if persuaded to join the fight and help on missions.
