Current Main Arcs
Here the current main arcs will have intro and backgrounds to them posted so everyone knows what the current main arcs are. You don't have to participate in a main arc, especially if you're character doesn't bear a relevancy to it that would sort of make their participation and the Arc itself meet in the middle.
  • Purifiers Arc: The Purifiers a group of deadly killers armed with weapons made from vibranium, adamantium, and/or energy as well as powered exoskeletons. They follow a religion that calls for the extinction of the scourge of World, Mutant kind aka Homo Sapien Superior.
  • Serial Witch Hunt Arc: Someone believed to have some demonic and anti magic power has been killing magic users and beings all over Earth one after another. This has undoubtedly attracted attention from various individuals for varying reasons. At the core of it all, if you use magic your days are numbered with this killer on the loose. Naturally the suspects are all those who possess some form of anti magic or demonic power.
Past Arc Summaries
Here is where the summaries for the past arcs will be posted.

Rules and Regulations
  • 2 - 3 paragraphs min post.
  • Cannot hold up an IC without an explanation for more than 24 hours since the last post. If so then depending on the scene something will be made to happen to remove your character from the scene.
  • Collaboration posting is encouraged to prevent hold ups, delayed posting because one is experiencing writer's block or something, and to prevent back and forth posts between two players from flooding the IC.
  • If a player is inactive in the HP for 7 days no explanation they may be terminated. This will go by a case by case basis such as if their inactivity held up an IC, how involved they are in the first place. How involved their characters are determines if they have to be killed or can be simply removed. For players who have to take a hiatus their characters if involved in an IC must be arranged to not hinder it, for example they can write their character into a coma or maybe they disappear to vacation or handle a private matter.
  • Players will be allowed to have as many characters as they want within reason which includes not creating a bunch and letting a bunch sit inactive or mass claiming of canon characters and concepts.
  • The canon of the Roleplay is too important to allow additions by role players who could go inactive soon after starting. To protect against that additions to the canon by new players, even if just through their character back stories, will hold a sort of temporary status that will solidify as the player shows themselves to be more active. Sort of like how in DC Legends of Tomorrow after a change in time, time takes a while to solidify.
  • Don't just have your characters knows everything about everything and everyone. Not even through that read files on such and such, because that's just not fair and is in a way Metagamimg.
  • Words of the GMs is final and I reserve the right to amend these rules as neccessary

On the morning news, it was another report about another murder of a mutant inspired by the cult known as the Purifiers. Their signature was a cross with a circle around the intersection. The important part of this was as much as the killings by the Purifiers themselves was bad enough, now there are people killing just because of their inspiration. The Purifier movement itself is growing but most dangerous aren't the actual members but those who simply act upon their message. Who knows, what mutant or mutants may be in someone's cross hairs next?

Shin currently hiding out in a Washington DC hotel room eating a grand room service breakfast, simply watched the news and branded it an American problem. He wasn't too informed on the Purifiers and figured their activities were limited to the US. He highly doubt they would even come after him, much less that he would be on their radar. He figured they were more likely to target the Brotherhood as a gathering of very anti human sentiment mutants that humans would likely be glad to see dead.

Then he realized that wouldn't last long because where was this mutant from Japan heading to seek shelter from the Hand and Clan Yashida, right to the Brotherhood. This made Shin face palm, he was not wearing his mask at this moment which means no one would recognize him for his true identity. The backwards nature of his identity sometimes confused even Shin himself. As soon as he finished eating, he was back in business mode. He knew where he was going, he knew he could there, and just hoped they would accept him when he gets there.

Dane was on the losing side of his current fight with the mysterious Serial Magic Killer. Dane was probably the only one alive who currently knew what he looked like but even that may not be for long. Despite the power of the Ebomy blade, his skills, and his training he could not gain the advantage against this swordsman. Furthermore the aura radiated from the man's sword was so very ominous and demonic like it was a living arc of destruction. They were fighting over the corpses of several dead members of the Masters of the Mystic Arts. Ironically it was almost to be expected what happened next.

Suddenly the Serial Killer slashed his sword in mid air and went through a demonic gate way disappearing, then reinforcements from the Masters of the Mystic Arts arrived to see The Black Knight standing there. Not to mention his weapon is a powerful anti magic weapon and known to cause people to go berserk. It was no surprise he was branded the killer. Dane through his sword as it was a simple throwing knife seemingly at the sorcery but in reality it flew far beyond them. As the sorcery fired off their spells to vaporize him, he warped to the Ebony Blade's new location. His hand back on its hilt as it carried him through the sky, he promptly flung it again and again, farther and farther until he felt he had a nice lead on the sorcerers to get away. Dane's night literally just went from a mission to find and stop a serial killer, to scurrying like a rat in the streets of Chicago running from the Masters of the Mystic Arrs and who knows what else.

The sun shine was a delicacy she would never forget to enjoy. Soaking up the rays on the roof was simply something she couldn't resist. Sure, she likely wasn't allowed on the roof of the run-down apartment complex, but she never really was one for rules, was she? Her shoes lay by the door, her feet stepping across the already warm rooftop. With each delicate step she never stayed too long in place, her arms moving with the ebb and flow of her body, occasional turns, letting the music flow through her soul. Danger was always around, but at this particular moment, she simply couldn't be bothered to care. Dark hair swinging delayed in time. She tried to focus on the residual feelings left on the roof, but none were particularly interesting.

Antonia... She collapsed to the ground, heart beating from anxiety and fear, her mother's voice causing her to rip out her headphones, and stare around wildly as if someone might be lurking on the side of the building. It wasn't really her mother, of course, but when her brain decided to remind her of the shrill, powerful noise, it petrified her. She shook the feeling, grabbed her shoes, and headed back inside. This was something she never told Lunatik, though she was sure he probably realized she disappeared most mornings.

Arriving back in the room, the T.V. play in the background. The new woman droned on about another mutant murder. If I get caught by the Purifiers, would I be able to escape? She brushed off the question, concerned about herself and protecting her quirky roommate. Simply turning it off, she continued to her bag, getting ready for the day.

The hustle and bustle of New York was almost deafening as Peter made his way through the streets, the teenager walking home with his hands in his coat pockets. He passed by a TV in a store window, seeing a news report on the recent murders in the name of the Purifiers. Peter sighed, saying, "Great. What next? A bunch of human-hating mutants? Please, don't let that happen." He sighed, afraid he jinxed himself about the mutant cult thing. He walked down into the subway, buying himself a ticket as he rode back to Queens. He got to thinking. He had powers, genetic powers, from what he could tell, so was he technically a mutant? It scared him a little, but he knew he could handle a few crazies with torches and pitchforks.

Finally, after about twenty minutes, he arrived at his destination. He got off his stop, walking home as he suddenly got a massive headache. He looked around, saying, "What the hell was that? Maybe it's just my Spider-Sense on the fritz again. It's been doing that a lot lately." He shrugged, walking home as a dark, bulky figure could be seen on the rooftops, a sick grin on it's face as he growled, "Parrrkerrrr...." It kept following him, stalking him closely back home.

Peter was back home in a few minutes, walking into the door as he said, "I'm home!" Aunt May was in the kitchen, and said, "Hi, Peter! How was your day?" Peter shrugged, saying, "Alright. Have you seen Eddie around? I haven't seen him in a while." She shrugged, saying, "No. That's strange. You two used to be inseperable. I think it's about his father. They still don't know what killed him you know." Peter nodded, knowing it was Venom that killed Eddie's father. Peter hoped that Eddie was still in there, and that it was just the suit that wanted him dead. Peter sighed, heading upstairs as he shut the door, taking his coat and backpack off as he slumped onto the bed, exhausted from school.

The surfer fell, no flew, no she did both as she went uncontrolled through hyperspace. She had no goal, no location, no endpoint in mind she just had to get away. A blind jump through hyperspace normally was a death sentance for those undertaking it, but for her it was the only safe thing. How long the surfer tumbled she did not could not know for in this place time and space no longer operated as the did in normal space. She could end up on the other side of the universe or a planet away from where she started. Still anywhere was safer than were she started she had to escape.

In time the surfer would emerge perhaps seconds after she left real space or maybe centuries she would not know, but she arrived flying and tumbling at the edge of a small sysyem. She couldn't control where she went and was moving so fast that in seconds planets flew by and still she tumbled. On earth the organization shield would without doubt notice first the massive energy discharge at the edge of the system then that something was heading right at earth. The surfer started to try to right herself as she flew but already she was nearing the world crashing through the asteroid belt.

As they monitored the object those at shield would see it come closer and closer and in the blink of an eye it was past their defences unhindered. The surfer meanwhile felt herself heat up hotter and hotter as she entered the worlds atmosphere and she her time was limited. The surfer concentrated and managed to get on her board but already she was falling through the clouds.

In New York those going another day would see the figure and panic for meteor or missile death was falling. The surfer now upon her board saw the city and adjusted her course nearly hitting buildings as she instead landed in a park in a pool of water making it bubble and boil.

The surfer now safe from crashing floated up from the depths, having averted causing any damage, and around perhapssheknewthis world or perhaps it was the same one she had left.

If she was honest, all she wanted was a sandwich from the 'best sandwich shop in queens'. A girl had to eat, and for a decent price, the sandwiches were fantastic. Despite the mutant murders, she felt that she was mostly safe as long as she kept her head down. The only one's who really knew about her abilities were a select few, some on her side, some working against her, but nonetheless she doubted any of the mutant lynch mobs would storm the shop and take her away. At least, that's what she hoped.

Of course, she obtained a sandwich, sat down outside the shop, and-

"What's that?" One of the ladies nearby cried out, her hand above her brow, shielding her eyes from the sun. Toni didn't think much of it until several of the others started noticing as well. There was an object, a very strange object, and it wasn't making an effort to slow as it came crashing to the ground. Really? She thought to herself, No. I am not a hero. I'm a mutant, and I don't need to make sure that people are okay... right? Of course not, and It would definitely be inappropriate to go gaze at whatever foreign object just landed... right? She took on bite of her sandwich before wrapping it up and dropping it into her bag. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. Good thing I'm not a cat.

She set off, headed in the general direction. She figured the closer she got, the more people would be screaming and panicking, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. What could go wrong?

Peter was in his room getting his web shooters working when he saw an object burning up in the atmosphere, and at first he thought it was a come, but then he realized there were no comets coming by this time of the year. He saw it was very close, and he shouted downstairs, "Aunt May! I gotta go!" She arched her eyebrows, saying, "Why? It's almost dinner?" Peter rummaged through his closet, throwing his costume on as he said, "I uh...gotta go see Mary Jane! She uhhh...needs help with some homework!" Aunt May smiled, saying, "Okay, Peter. Just be home by dark, okay?" Peter sighed, saying, "Alright! Cya then!" He jumped through his open window, pulling his mask down as he jumped between the houses until he had buildings he could swing from.

Peter went to where he thought the object landed, swinging from building to building as he looked around, saying to himself, "So, meteor, huh? In New York? Well, it can't be too big, seeing as I'm not, you know, disentigrated yet, but it can't be good. Please don't be aliens!" He finally saw the pond boiling, saying, "Well, that's not normal. Better check it out." He swung just near it, saying to some of the bystanders, "Don't worry people! Just a...meteor or something. Please return to you homes!" He used his web shooters to create a wall to obscure the chrome lady in the pond, climbing on top of it as he said, "Uh...greetings, from Earth! Welcome to our planet! May I ask why you uh...crashed into a pond?" He laughed, looking at the strange woman laying the boiling pond.

The surfer had been looking up and around she saw not the blue sky but instead with a little focus she saw through it and saw the stars. She could not tell where this world was could it be some far flung back water so distant that no claim had been laid upon it? The surfer knew if it had been kree or still already would they be upon her for she had visited their worlds before.

Then as she thought she realized something was talking to her. It was blue and red while then she noticed others gathering. Looking to them and the one before her They looked to be from zenn-la could she have returned to the world she left? That was answered by the red and blue being earth where was earth? The surfer had never heard of earth yet these beings so like those of zenn-la.

The surfer looked to the blue and red alien or perhaps she was the alien as no longer could she call the cosmos her home. She rose up from the pond simply moving through the webbong, meant in her mind to hold her down, and floated upon her board looking around again not answering as she realized this world was primitive.

Then she looked again to the speaker. "I.." She started to say before pain ran through her head and she heard a voice his voice in her mind Galactus and he sought her he has angry very angry.

When the pain passed she looked again to the man "Are you with the Kree or the Skrull or is your world not claimed?" She asked more concerned with her masters coming earth than making sense.

Peter was suprised the alien understood him, saying, "I've never heard of either of those things you were talking about, but they don't sound nice. Are they aliens?" He jumped down, holding his hands up to show that he meant her no harm. "This is Earth. I'm a human. We're the dominant species here." He lifted his mask off, showing his real face as he said, "That was just a mask. Not all of us look like that." He then put his mask back on, leaving against a tree as he said, "So...what brings you to our humble and mostly boring planet? And who are the Skrull and the Kree?"

It was a park that held the uproar. By the time Toni had jogged her way over there, even though she really wasn't that far away, she was out of breath and more than confused. She arrived in enough time to see spider-man standing on the edge of a pool. A pool? Spiderman? Everything seemed already way too insane. Still, she walked over, unable to help herself.
Listening to the conversation as she neared, she heard something about... Kree? What the hell is Kree?

When she laid her eyes on the 'object' she realized this person was definitely not human.
"You're silver?" Her voice was louder than she had expected it to be, but to be fair, she just encountered a silver alien and an unmasked Spider-man all in one sitting. It was exciting, and-

"Am I dreaming?" She said the words out loud, not even meaning to. "She one of your friends, man?" She addressed the spandex covered boy this time, wondering if he knew anything more than she did.

Two locals one male one female though only the male's answer mattered to the surfer they had not heard of either of the two great empires truly this world was far removed and irelevent. She could tell them of the two and how no one thought of their world as anything it was not even Apprently useable as labor forces. That would likely be to much and she could explain galactus but that was like explaining the universe to an insect they could not understand. She would need a reason and as they did not know her and who followed her they would not know the danger or question her.

"They are I fled them by entering hyperspace but with no course I was left tumbling through the outer realm." She explained with holding the truth for now "Thus i seek refuge from their endless hunts" She finished if either empire showed well they were not nice so it didn't matter.

Another fucking cold storm in the city. Typical weather, all things considered. Where was David? He'd called him twenty minutes ago. Not like it was a busy day, or anything, either; Malachi seemed to be the only person out in this rain. Pulling a bottle out if his jacket, he cupped his hand popped the top, taking a long sip before exhaling. It didn't take long before he realized something was off. Nothing he could place; just a feeling. Moments later, quite possibly the least subtle demons in existence appeared in a blaze of shadows and fire on the other side of the street.

"Malachi!" one of them screeched.

"What the f--- do you clowns want?" the surly hunter responded, casually smoking away as if nothing seemed to bother him.

"We want your soul and the blade!" another yelled. In all, there was five of them. Not the best odds, but nothing he couldn't handle.

He chuckled. "And you really think you can get it? Piss off, you bunch'a rejected sperm cells." The fiends screamed in fury, nearly about to charge. Malachi seemed not to mind, though. He sighed, exhaling smoke while he did it. Before he had the chance to try to talk these fools into submission, he heard the sound of a motor in the distance; the kid finally got around to picking him up. While he'd rather not stoop to violence so quickly, he didn't have much time to play around. Rolling up his sleeves on his new jacket, he pulled his arms back, then threw them forward into a clap, white hot flames erupting from his fingertips.

Caught off guard, three of the demons were struck, dissolving into ash and flames as they were cast back to Hell. The other two, angered by the offense, tried to charge at Malachi, hellfire burning in their eyes (literally). For an ironic twist, Malachi laughed as he darkened the world around them. As he stopped chuckling at their weak attempt at fear, sighing he breathed a blast of fire at the demons, flooring them. Taking the opportunity, he muttered a few quick phrases in Hebrew, calling upon the Fangblade and creating a circle of water around the beasts. As he stabbed the blade into the ground, water began pulling over the demons and lowering onto them, sending them back to the underworld to join their friends.

But for some reason he still felt like he wasn't alone.

Agatha hated being in banks. Especially nowadays. Too many cameras, too many snooty people, too much money. It's been decades since she actually pulled a heist, but that didn't mean that all that loot still didn't call to her like a siren. The bank teller wasn't helping their case any either. Snooty bastard kept lookin down at her like he was smart or something. All she wanted to do was refinance her fuckin mortgage for that rundown piece of shit apartment she had and move on with her day. Apparently this guy thinks it needs to be this whole production. Blablabla they have stricter credit requirements now, yadda yadda yadda the place isn't worth what it once was. Snotty little shit wouldn't even just say she's denied either, no this tool has to drag it out and enjoy it with that simpering little smile of him. Agatha had socks older than this twerp and he thinks he he has a read on how this crazy world works. Just cause the kid got a job that required a tie he thinks he's got his shit together.
"Mmm yes, I'm looking over your credit Mrs. Norwell and it simply does not look good, not good at all. I'm afraid we simply couldn't consider...."

She could kill him. Wouldn't even be that hard. A little sliver of string inside of her clothes could just pop his smug little noggin right off. If he knew what she could do he wouldn't be so snooty with her. Still, she had to hold her tongue. Cussing this guy out wasn't going to get options opened up to her. She couldn't do it the easy way anymore, not with her grandkids. She had to set an example for them. That's what Angie keeps going on about, being a good example. Being a good grandmother. She would be if she got the chance dammit! She could get one of those tacky bowls filled with candy like any other schmuck. She could spoil em rotten like any other grandmother. Why she was so reluctant to let her see her own grandkids she'll never know.

"NOBODY MOVE, THIS IS A ROBBERY!"

People screamed as gunfire shot into the air. The bank teller was decidedly less smug as he scurried behind the window, probably to push one of those little red buttons she hated so much. As for Agatha, her only reaction was mild annoyance and a roll of her eyes at all the sound and yelling. People were getting rounded up and pushed against the wall. It was super clumsy work from the sounds of it. These punks were total amateurs at robbing banks, no class at all. All of them were just yelling and wasting bullets into the roof like it was supposed to be intimidating or something. She counted like six of them from the sounds of it. Spools of thread in her pockets were already unraveling and discreetly snaking through the expensive carpeting. They'd notice her soon enough, though they utter trash for not getting to her already. Kids these days just do not know how to be thorough on the job like they used to.

"Hey Granny, you deaf or something?! get your ass against the wall or I'm blowing your brains out!"

He got weak in the knees when she turned to look at him. He knew who she was. Good, this was gonna be even easier.

"Oh...oh no....Guys...we need to go NOW"

"What the hell you talkin bout? We haven't even got the money."

The meek little shit with a gun backed away from the old lady as he balanced her weight on her cane to get up. Her voice let out a moan of discomfort as her bones rubbed together, her cartilage long since worn away. It only furthered the agitation in her eyes, already littered with visible blood vessels. She twitched her head from side to side, letting out loud cracks that could be heard even among the nervous hostages and angry guards.

"Listen...Granny...we mean ya no harm, this was supposed to be a quick in and out man...."

"Shut the hell up and drop the gun, ya balless wonder." She growled out, he yelped in response and did exactly as she said. The others weren't doing the same. Agatha guessed she never heard of her before.

"Drop the guns assholes, and I MIGHT just let you get arrested after I'm done with ya."

"Fuck this old hag" One of the jumpier ones said, and she watched him raise his gun at her to shoot. A thread slithered out of the carpet at blinding speed and swiped through the air like a mouse trap, too thin and fast to notice. He looked down at his gun comically as half of it flopped to the ground along with a piece of the trigger. His little friends looked at the sliced gun and down at the ground like it was made of lava. She moved the thread like a snake now, letting them see the carpet move about a it combed back and forth across the expensive patterns. Letting them know it could swipe up again at any second.

"If any of you even think about trying to grab one of those hostages, I'll break you. Just letting you know that now whippersnappers. Now throw the guns on the floor and get on the ground, nice and easy like."

two of the six complied with her, freaked out by the moving carpet and the general vibe of the room. She could finish them in a fraction of a second. It would be a blood fest. However that's not how she was supposed to do things. Her hubby liked it better when she just tied up the perps, not maimed them. Still, they were not moving fast as she would have liked, she had places.be.

One of them tried to run for the door, which made her groan in frustration. A line of pink yarn flew out from inside of her brown overcoat faster than a bullet and snapped around the perps ankle, he didn't even fall onto his face before he got tied up to hell in back. she did the same with the others, taking them down and wrangling them up like pigs before bringing them all into the center of the room. Their weapons were ground into mulch by her thread before it was wheeled back into its spool. it cut off the yarn from their respective balls before it fully retracted. In a few hours, that yarn tying them up would be normal, but for now they might as well have been in steel chains.

People clapped and cheered after they were saved. Nobody was hurt. Not even a bullet was shot. Yet she knew this was going to end up messy for her. The cops were already showing up outside the bank. There was going to be questioning and witness testimony. The whole thing was just messy.

She sighed and tried to straighten her back as she prepared herself for this fresh new hell. "God I hope I don't miss bingo night. You better be happy I'm playing nice Nate." she said into the air, shaking her cane. Still, after she said her late husband's name, she couldn't help but have a wry smirk. He'd probably think this whole thing was hilarious.

Dane kept on the move following updates from SHIELD Intel and live mission support. They gave him a heads up on some demonic activity going on in another part of town, he wondered how they knew and figured they must have sensory specialists or something. Dane quickly tossed the Ebony Blade with his mehahnced strength onto a rooftop and then warped to it. For his next through he focused his strength and aim on getting the blade to that part of town. He flung the blade and watched it spiral off over the city and then plant itself in the side of a brick building faraway. Dane warped to blade, as soon as he was there on the edge of the blade it started cutting into wall and his weight pulled him down. Eventually friction brought him to a stop, to which he yanked the Ebony Blade out of the wall and threw it at the concrete and warped out of free fall onto the ground.

Dane removed the Ebony Blade from the ground and caught a glimpse of the end of the altercation. He watched a young man send three demons seemingly into the ground. He wondered if this guy could end up a target of the Serial Killer, he could sense the man's sword is definitely enchanted. The Black Knight made little attempt to hide himself, so it was no surprise the young man noticed his presence. He just hoped the guy didn't think so,some with such a large sword dressed in elven made armor wasn't too weird. Dane sheathed the Ebony Blade a show of peace and waved.

Winter Saint Winter Saint @Lena Oxton

The fact that this guy who was waving at him with one hand and had a sword in another just watched him banish demons raised the question if this was the bastard that caste it. And in an instant he summoned his armor to matched this man's strength and protection in a wary mind-state as to not knowing who this guy was. And he knew a lot of people. The fact that dude waved was suspicious enough, was he some psychopath or a dude who just happened to be here when it happened.

Malachi was damn sure about to find out.

He walked towards the being dressed in, as he got closer he saw, Elven Armor that you see in books or on TV. And with all his experience there was a chance that this guy was the real deal. Real deal of what he had no idea and he was slowly growing in emotion between caution, anger and confusion as to why someone of this caliber wanted to fuck with him. Mal stopped a good ten feet away from the being, heartbeat damn near still before speaking. "Tell me who you are and I might let you walk away with only a flesh wound." he spake in a stale tone with his sword still in hand.

"So..." Toni started in, attempting to wrap her head around everything that was happening, "You're an alien. You've come from God-knows-where to... seek refuge?" Blinking a few times, she placed her hands on her hips. What were they supposed to do with a silver lady in a pond? What was Earth supposed to do if more Aliens fell to Earth seeking this silver lady? What even was reality at this point?

Sure, Toni had heard about aliens, she had heard about crazy people falling from the sky, but experiencing it was a whole new thing. She gazed up at the boy near her, he had to be just excited. She thought Who wouldn't be thrilled to experience this?

"Where do you plan to go?" Did the woman even have a plan?

Dane wishes he was able to relax but his aggressive nature dictated he do otherwise. It started with Dane's face contorting into a scowl be his helmet and his eyes narrowing in irritation. Dane couldn't help but draw the Ebony Blade with one swift motion as if he wanted a fight. "I didn't want butt heads, that last comment of yours just tried patience I don't have. It's hard to stop myself from being provoked into a fight, so don't.. provoke..me!" Dane replied in an angry sort of feral tone. The rain was not helping his mood either as it annoyingly dripped off the edges of his armor.

Dane proceeded to explain himself. "There's a jackass running around killing magic user with some powerful demonic anti magic weapon. I saw you gank a few demons and your sword seems enchanted, you would seem like a prime target on his shit list. So I am here to make you my bait essentially." Dane absent mindedly swung the Ebony Blade flicking the raindrops off it and slashing falling rain drops in two as he did so, he realized afterwards it was a very show off action because the rain was still falling onto his sword. He honestly wished the Serial Magic Killer would just ambush them already or for Mal to entertain him for the moment.

Shin landed inside his Silver Samurai armor outside a large estate on the fringes of New York City. This place was by rumor supposed to always be open to mutants, Shin indeed was a mutant in need of shelter. He had heard about it through the mutant grapevine but also heard or rather concluded something else. This place has a huge target painted on it by such individuals like the Purifiers. He hoped the mutants inside were strong enough to defend against such an attack. There is a reason why Purifiers killings seem to show signs of struggle on the dead mutant's part, it's clear the mutants were overwhelmed somehow. There was nowhere else Shin could go, besides the Purifiers didn't scare him.

Shin opened up the helmet of his Silver Samurai armor to show his face as he walked up to the gates. Rather his face was still masked so he wasn't showing his true face but if the camera facial recognition is good enough they would match him to his doings back in Japan easy. His armor vanished into his tachyon field and he walked forward empty handed. He spread out his arms as he came to a stop in front of the gates and began speaking. "Greetings, I am a mutant hoping to seek shelter here. My name is Shin....please don't turn me away.." He said reaching a rather pathetic tone at the end.

A plan now hat was a question the surfer had not thought of anything but hiding from her master and his wrath, she had no plan just a hope he would take long enough that she could think up a way to cool his wrath. she knew nothing of this world and she could tell the two before her were not leaders so in truth there was no point asking them or telling them. Still they could be helpful they were locals they must understand a little of how this world worked assuming it was a unified world like so many others instead of a divided ones.

" I have no plan your world was not my goal, though it is suitable enough" she said though she had no goal. " My plan is to stay here for i might be detected should i leave this world, or rather this system " she explained seeing the world as one place not separate multiple places.

"Well," She reached her hand out to the woman, "Finding someone more... qualified for this kind of thing might be a good start, yeah?" The woman was silver, a refugee of sorts, and she was able to understand English which was strange and peculiar. If the woman granted Toni her hand, she'd raise her to her feet and help her get on her way. Where does one hide a silver lady? That was the question Toni was about to contemplate, but she pushed it aside for a moment, focusing more on the situation.

"¿Qué se supone que debo hacer ahora?" She spoke a line in Spanish this time, testing to see if the woman could understand. As for the kid, she looked at him and smiled, "What do you say? You up for an adventure?" Her smirk was small, but it complemented her features. She was always looking for experience and adventure.

Peter was leaning against a wall, nodding at the girl he came as he said, "Eh, why not? I'm your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, if you couldn't already tell." He shook the girl's hand, suddenly getting a massive headache as it felt like all his senses went off at once. He grabbed his head, looking up as he muttered, "Eddy..." He saw a dark, bulky figure on top of a nearby rooftop, seeing the white teeth curl into a smile as it's long, pink tongue licked it's face. Peter could almost hear the creature growl, "Parrrkkkeeerrr..." Then, he definitely heard it, the creature screaming, "PARRKKKKERRR!!!" It then leaped off the building as it crashed several yards from the three. It landed, cracking the ground as it stood upright and began walking towards them, the shadows covering it until it was right in front of them. Peter's eyes widened, seeing Venom standing before them, growling, "Parrkerr...will...DIE!!!" It then grabbed Spidey by the neck, throwing him into a nearby storefront as the hero crashed through a window, shouting to the customers, "Run! Go! Now!" He got up, flinching from the pain as Eddy made his way over to his prey, ignoring the others completely.

Ross watched with careful intent at the screen before her. This was the tenth one this week. The world outside of the estate was getting worse. These so called mutant hunters or magic hunters and the government, Ross wasn't sure where to start. But her kin was in need of her support and her protection. She studied the child at her gate, begging for safety and shelter. Well not so much, but the emotion behind his words were solid.

She crossed her fingers together as she rested her elbows on her desk. She pondered for the right decision. She needed to be careful with whom she let into her home. To her this was her sanctuary, not only for her and her kin... But or those she called her children. The Brotherhood of Mutants was a fast and growing name among the streets and official talk. But where to find her... That was another question. She was careful about the hidden location of her estate, not drawing too much attention to her headquarters. But somehow these mutants were able to find her.

Ross slowly reached out and pressed the top right hand corner of the screen showing her the mutant at her gate.

The gate slowly opened granting the young mutant access to the property. The gate would then shut only after Shingen had walked through.

Ross got up from her desk and left her grand office. She started to make her way to the front door passing only a few people in the hall. Mostly servants that were mutant friendly. People she had known and worked with for years. Her eyes caught sight of one of her own. She paused in step and gave the younger mutant a soft smile. She tilted her head a bit as she watched him. Not paying much attention as to where he was going, but he didn't need to. His eyes fixated on the floating tablet before his very eyes.

"Shouldn't you be with the others?" she asked.

The young mutant waved his hand slightly as the tablet moved away from his face. Kol looked to Ross with a questionable look, "Doing what exactly?" Kol gave the woman a sly smirk as he took the tablet from the air with his hands. Tapping away at the screen and letting his eyes follow his fingers.

Ross made her way over to Kol and took the tablet from his hands. "Well if you're not busy." She motioned him to follow her.

Kol let out a rough sigh before following the Mother of Mutants. Ross made her way to the front door. By this time Shingen would be at the front door. Ross pointed to it as she looked back to Kol. Kol waved his hand and the front double doors would open without anyone touching them. Giving access to Shingen to enter into the main building of the estate.

Ross smiled as she motioned for the young mutant to come into her home. Kol tilted his head at the sight of the new mutant. To him this new mutant looked like a trick or treater for Halloween. Ross handed Kol back his tablet as she continued to the door and Shingen. Kol took his tablet, but kept his eyes on Ross and the new comer. You could tell Kol wasn't a fan already with this one. Not that he didn't like him or anything, but he and the others knew very well as to what was going on outside the walls and grounds of the estate. And for someone to show up... Wearing a mask was not a good sign. This guy could be a hunter for all they knew. His eyes narrowed as he studied the other.

"Scarlet Ross... The Mother of Mutants." Ross stated.

Lunatik wakes up. Not again, he thinks. He's tied by the ankles to the ceiling of a motel room by a rope, his hands bound behind his back with his necktie. Two men walk into the room, wearing black overcoats and large fedoras. They take off the fedoras and place them on a hat rack near the door. As one closes the door, one reaches into his pocket to pull out a switchblade.

"Look, kids, all's fun with knives and motel rooms but there's a story arch starting up and I really have to go."

The man with the switchblade draws closer, putting a knife to Lunatik's leg. "Diamondback's waiting for you to pay up. He's getting a little antsy."

"Diamondback? Golden Age or Silver?"

The other man pulls out a sock from a cabinet and a box of batteries, slowly filling the sock. "I'd advise you shut your mouth unless you're telling us your bank number." The man with the switchblade bends over, putting the knife to his throat.

Lunatik begins panting and whimpers, "Wait, wait, wait a minute boys!" He drops this anxious act. "Diamondback isn't in this continuity, I don't think. At least not yet." He tears the necktie with his hands and punches the man with the switchblade in the face, taking his knife as it's thrown into the air. He stares straight at camera and says "Okay kiddies, things are about to get a little violent. You might want to look away."

The blood-soaked Lunatik straightens his collar and closes the door to the motel room behind him. I wonder what Toni's doing. I should give her a call.
