Raised in a small town, Dave was raised on traditional country values of hard work and kindness. He was the first of his family to attend college, getting a degree in agricultural science before being given his uncle's farm in Mapletree, having moved there two months ago. As such, the farm is still being worked on, with only a few crops to sell and eat, a horse, and a few chickens. He also found a little puppy that he named Cecil, which is his pride and joy, alongside his horse Cid.

Bio (Just a little of their history):
Rosalyn grew up in this town. Her father had been the town's blacksmith for as long as anyone can remember. Rosalyn took over when he died unexpectedly from a heart attack leaving no one to run the place but herself. It was due to this that she wasn't able to leave the small town and go to college (which she resented at first). It was lucky for her mother and the family business that she already had her blacksmithing licence so she could work with her farther while in high school. It took a little but of time to get over the bitterness she felt about living here but she eventually grew fond of it and it's people. Unfrotuently through this process she picked up a bad habit of drinking, so if you can't find her at her shop she will be at the bar in town.​

Bio
Mac was raised in Mapletree village, more accurately she was raised in the Inn, working with her mother when she wasn't at school or walking around town. She only ever knew her mother, her father being a drifter whose charms had drawn her mother in one night many years ago. When her mother passes Mac will inherit the inn from her, just as her mother did from her parents. Nowadays Mac does most of the running of the inn, seeing as her mother is sick and isn't able to keep up with the job anymore.

Mac can usually be found either somewhere in the inn or walking by herself around town. ​

(Put into spoilers for convenience, tried to keep it short but ended a bit long, sorry! )

Even from a young age, Yaki was indifferent to this village, having visited over from the city to his grandparents' stables only on christmas breaks. From the time his mother grew up in Mapletree, the girl named Hatsu was always known as a promiscuous, daring teenager despite her parents' strict and religious teachings. Noriyaki was initially an accident from one of her encounters, but a happy one at that, and she still accepted this child with loving arms and exciting midnight stories. Hatsu definitely wasn't the best parent to have, hell, Noriyaki had joined gangs young and she encouraged it('self expression,' 'nothing but a phase,' she said) but regardless, when he'd come home beaten and scratched, she was always there to help.

When his grandparents died in an accident while transferring animals from the city, the family had to move over to take care of the stables, forcing Yaki to leave behind his friends and the reputation he'd built for himself. When his mother met Victor, a travelling french cook searching for inspiration in small towns, this relationship helped her deal with the loss of her parents. The encounter led the French cook to settle down finally, finding a job at the inkeep that wasn't as well paying as his other jobs, but was absolutely smitten that it didn't matter regardless. This gave Yaki his stepsister Stella, but he was ungrateful of this change. What was supposed to be only a year of living here, grew and grew into more time trying to find someone suitable to care for the animals. Noriyaki no longer had his old kicks, with nothing to pursue in this aging town and not enough money to go around for the four of them, at age 17, the foolish teenager ran away, hoping both to get back to glory days and return with more than enough money to go around.

The family knows nothing of the events that happened then. All that is known is that 8 months from today makes the day his parents found their sheep sniffing the collapsed Noriyaki in the barn. The day where together, they made the deal that he could live there with all forgiven, but in return, he would take over all the ranchwork so they could move out themselves as planned. Hatsu and Victor had moved back to the city to earn a prettier penny, and currently the two step siblings are filling their parents' places.
Since then, the ex-gang member has been mostly reclusive, focusing on operating the ranch whilst avoiding the town locals.

If you're lucky, you can see sometimes him taking midnight strolls with a cigarette and notebook on hand.

Bonus Appearance: French. Stella has a dark brown buzzcut for convenience she hides behind hats with. Doesn't have a single uncomfortable or formal thing in her wardrobe. Often forgets to wipe off flour and other stains that gets on her while cooking. Many travelers mistake her for a man.

Stella finds relief in following the footsteps made for her, though often finds herself regretting it when she looks back.

When Stella's mother died giving birth, her father, Victor used his job as a gourmet chef as a coping mechanism and soon became obsessed with it. Growing up with the loud, lonely and dramatic cook that was her dad, Stella had no rest and grew to become quiet as a result from being repeatedly made fun of in the neighborhood for how he acted. But even so, he still did his best to be a good father and would regularly protect her from said people. When he became notorious and wealthy enough, at age 8 Stella would grow accustomed to a life of traveling. And though it was a breath of fresh air from her home, she would never be able to forge any real connections aside from her father and no real hobbies beside cooking.
She was 16 when her father finally met a woman that wasn't phased by him and his extravagant personality. The family finally settled down. She got her brother, which she never really got to know much until recently, and she got a real home. But as always instead of finding herself, she pursued being her father's assitant cook and took the blunt end of the hard work, and even more so when her father left. Though she suspects she should be happy to be here, she can't help but feel like she's trapped by everyone else's expectations of her. She finds herself jealous of Yaki's ability to follow his passions, even if they were stupid ones like kamikazing himself to who knows where.

As they stand currently, they only cross each other when Yaki drops off some ingredients from the ranch and to tell her how their parents are doing.​

Incredibly busy, so it's rare to find her anywhere else but the inn. If not cooking, she's preparing for the next work day. Sometimes sleeps overnight in the kitchen.​

Job: Alena is the proud owner of a 4th generation farm known as Waffle farm, they're very proud of their livestock here, Specially their award-winning sheep line. She also was given ownership of her Mother's bakery formerly named Steve the Bakery now named. "Up in Autumn" Bakery named after the girl's favorite sheep. The bakery offers one single free waffle on Wednesday per customer they have to pay extra for toppings though.


Sexuality: is a Lesbian.


Loves: French toast (She'll never admit it though since she loves it more the waffles.) Sun Flowers, Free food, surprises, someone to watch stars with. Someone who wants to bicker with her.

Hates: Fish, people harming animals. NEVER FEED HER LAMB.

Alena is definitely in no way a slacker often pushing herself to the fullest when it comes to alternating her career. Starting off every morning with basic animal care before heading into town to open up her bakery shop. Then heading home once its closing time to finish the rest of her farming routine, not wanting to leave her employees to fight the thirsty crowd all by themselves. She basically runs off caffeine, when she's not working. Alena is probably either off doing something or asleep somewhere. Alena also passes out easily from this.

She is kinda sassy doesn't like dealing with super whiney people, and more then willing to kick someone out her shop if they try to start something, or if they're a male trying to flirt with her. People often mistake her for having a bad attitude when she really doesn't. Might be a big easy to tease teddy bear when on her good side and close.

- Frugal
Despite having two jobs, and having quite a bit of money, Alena is very frugal. She likes to save her money and doesn't like spending a large amount of money at a time unless it's necessary, cause you never know when your gonna be in hard times. She will try to spoil the girl she likes though.

- Clueless
Alena doesn't have a very good education, dropping out of the town's school from a young age, she learned basic skills in the hard trade life . Along with how to bake from her Mother's recipes before she lost it, and some ordinary math skills. She often goes blank when someone mentions the town has a library and doesn't believe them.

Need someone on your sports team, or help in a festival? Well Alena here is a very good choice to have, despite working so much she is always willing to help someone she sees as a friend, and will stand by them in most situations. She hears you like soup and your sick, expect a bread bowl of soup. One of the times to see this when she's caring for her flock. wip

Gracie is currently living with the mayor, Steve. She went to live with him after her mother's death, she calls him uncle Steve even though he's not really her uncle. Gracie while she is smart, she does not try very hard in school and probably frustrates her teacher a lot. She doesn't like people who misunderstand Steve, often people think he's unkind and selfish, but for this one little girl he is actually done a lot more than people know.​

Little is known about Charles, his existence to the town simply wasn't until it was— a gentle bleeding of bizzarro color from behind a canvas; subtle even to those at the epicenter until retrospect led them to wonder why it took so long. But not untraceable! Truth relied on but a question, yet it was one not many cared to ask; he provided work in an environment of more pressing matters. Jona, despite growing up here, dreamed of living in the city. She longed to hear the sounds of the bustling streets and the sounds of angry honking and yelling of people that took place in the city and what many called home (I mean, who wouldn’t want that?)
Since that isn’t possible because of her having to stay here and take care of her mother, she decided to bring the city here and open up a cafe. Inspired by her love for coffee and new drink inspirations, she took on the business head first and has been addicted to both caffeine and her job ever since.
Her mother, realizing her workaholic tendencies, persuaded her to take up a hobby. However, she didn’t realize that would include Jona choosing a rather tough learning one. Her love for skating only grew as her passion to improve became more apparent with the increase in bandages that covered her. Needless to say, clumsiness and a pair of rollerblades don’t perfectly fit at first.​

Before Haru joined the professional delivery service, her dream was to be an official cake-taster. Somehow, this hobby has become more entwined with her job than she could have imagined.

Laurence is from "out of town" and is used to living very extravagantly. He is pleased that he can explore some of his other hobbies in the countryside. He is also pleasantly surprised how interesting life can be in a village and usually has the most up-to-date gossip (Haru Moon may perhaps be his informant, as well as clients).

Leo has been in Mapletree Village for the past 6 years. His family moved there to start a new life. Like his father he became a carpenter and now runs the business along side his father. Leo is better at doing custom buildings while his dad does small specialty items. It is easier for Leo to do the bigger stuff for he is younger and more able to do so. Leo is also a father of a six year old girl. The mother is currently out of the picture since she wanted nothing to do with both of them after she was gone.

Kiki moved to Mapletree Village right after she was born with her papa and the rest of his family. She doesn't know her mother and because of that she doesn't have any particular feelings about her. A lot of people say that the absence of her mother is the reason why she is very clingy with her father. Kiki prefers beings alone and drawing. Most of her inspiration comes from the buildings from around town as well as the stars in the sky.

The surname Jones was given to him, and jack took him under his wing. He's made himself at home here and can usually be found following others around, making mischief for the village and/or his adoptive father, or in the time-out corner.

-Energetic: Robert seems to have been blessed with an infinite pool of energy that he's constantly trying to burn off one way or another all throughout the day. Hell, even when he sleeps he rolls around like an unsecured barrel.

-Caring: Robert holds his friends in very high regards. He'll take mental (and sometimes physical) notes on what their likes and dislikes are just so that he can use that information in the future. He's also extremely swift when it comes to providing emotional support for those in need of it, just don't take his advice, they tend to be dumb and astonishingly ineffective.

-Hard worker: Should you perchance request some sort of mineral for Robert to mine the moment those final words escape your lips he'll already be setting off to work with the upmost care to ensure the quality of the items delivered. It doesn't matter the date or the time, this miner will always receive you with a beautiful smile.

-Natural born liar: No matter the situation telling a lie really is almost second nature to Robert, though once you get to know him it becomes pretty easy to tell when he's doing it.

-Hot-tempered: The best way I can describe Robert in this regard is: "A weak explosive triggered by a very short fuse.". Rarely will he go straight into a physical confrontation though, he'll just be very outspoken of what's pissing him off.

-Selfish: Robert just can't bring himself to lend other people his own things, even if you only took a miniature sized bite off his food he'll get all moody.

"Oooooh? My backstory? Well well well, someone seems to be interested in me, could it be that my charm has finally taken a hold of you? In any case, let me fulfill this request of yours. As I am sure you know by now I was born in the city, though I swear upon my heart that I have no intentions in adding to the list of harm that people of similar origin seem to enjoy inflicting on Mapletree. Truth is, I cherish this place and its people and that's never gonna change. Regarding my life in the city, frankly I would rather not get into it, that old side of me has been dead for a long time and I don't wish to even honor its existence with a mere memory. All that you need to know is that my passion for gold was born when a young me spent a day working in my grandfather's pawnshop. Such a bleak looking place...and then one day a man sold my grandfather an extremely old and dirty looking clock. I didn't think much of it, truth is it looked like trash, but after polishing the sucker my grandpa revealed to me its true hidden beauty: The clock had been covered in a thin layer of gold. You should've seen it, the way it suddenly brought that whole shop to life was just...god, I can't even put it into words. Anyways, I guess you could say that newly awoken passion led my life to this point 'cause I basically began looking for any jobs that got me close to that precious mineral, which eventually landed me here some years ago. Andrew moved to Mapletree just recently, barely having a year in said village. He considers himself a lost soul that needs to find purpose. Nedda has been living in Mapletree ever since she was born, taking over the pharmacy after her parents had left to live somewhere else when she was 16. They had bestowed upon her all their knowledge of medicine, herbs and such. She refused to follow them as she didnt like sudden changes to her environment and plus, she felt really comfortable at Mapletree. Knowing that their daughter is pretty much independent and dont really have any worries, they brought her younger brother when they left.
