Magic 8 Ball
full

Without a doubt strive to live, learn to love, and care to trust...

Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? Perhaps a wizard? Or maybe experience feelings that you have never felt before? Well for a particular group of friends these desires are soon to be granted.

Years after an explosion to a mad scientist's lab and a magic 8 ball toy is found intact among all the ashes. It was found by a group of teens who were bored and wanted to explore the haunted grounds. Turns out though that this magic 8 ball wasn't a toy. The teens learned this soon enough when one began flying or the other was able to punch through walls. So what happened? Well from what the teens concluded the magic 8 ball somehow granted them superhuman powers.

Later on the teens will soon learn that these powers aren't permanent. In fact they can learn other abilities if they are lucky enough to receive them. The powers last only a week as they will soon learn. How fast they learn the basics of the ability is entirely up to the individual. Who knows they may be lucky and end up with the same ability twice in a row. It all is up to the magic 8 ball.

Nia & Noah Lots
Noah and his crazy ideas. He knew how much Nia hated scary things. But then again the last thing she wanted was for him to plaster a smirk onto his ugly face for the rest of the week if she didn't pursue his dare. The dare to wander the grounds of the haunted old laboratory that exploded years ago. Well it's suppose to be haunted. Many people created rumors that you could hear the maniacal cackling of the professor who died in the explosion or hear the cries of his son that died alongside him. But what made the story even creepier was that they found the blown up bits of the professor and only the professor. The body of his son was never to be found. Nia shivered a bit as she thought about the rumors, but the last thing she wanted was to show any type of fear in front of Noah and their friends. Not only did Noah coerce Nia into this dare but he dragged along Jolmee, Jun, and Cal into it as well. Nia knew he wanted to provide an audience for her. So she decided to play along and take a role in his game.

But some regret was filling her mind as she tentatively walked around the debris of the lab. There was some kind of grotesque beauty in the way nature grew on the bits of the lab that remained. And at least the moon was up. So there was light for them to walk around in the ruins. The dare only lasted for fifteen minutes so Nia just needed to endure the fear of maybe having a stray experiment suddenly poison them or maul them.

Slowly peeking his head around the corner of a wall behind his sister, Noah barely held back his ecstatic snickers as he watched Nia shiver. He knew she was mad at him for coming up with this dare, but once he knew how much it bothered her, he just had to go through with it. And if he brought along an audience, so what? He was just having some fun!

He grinned as an idea suddenly came to him, and he immediately took a step back to put it into action. Scanning the ground around him, he grabbed a small deteriorated can of something and gently set it in front of his foot before sliding his hands into his pockets, fingers wrapping around a small object he couldn’t wait to show the others. Rearing back as quietly as he could, he suddenly lunged forward, slamming his right foot into the can, sending it flying down the hall, clanging all the way.

This is it. This is the way that Nia will die. In the middle of a blown up laboratory. When the sounds of clanging sounded nearby Nia froze. The temperature in her body literally dropped, not a single breath left her lips, and there was a skip to her heartbeat. Instantly a million images of what could be the source of the sound flashed in her mind. But her twin brother was the last thing she expected. Her blue eyes stared down Noah as soon as she looked behind her. Immediately a chilling air surrounded her as a distinct frown appeared on her face. “Noah!” Nia hissed as she narrowed her eyes towards her brother and walked over to him, all fear she had inside of her dissipating away. “I believe it has been fifteen minutes already. Obviously there is nothing more for us here. Let’s just meet up with the others and get going. School starts tomorrow. And I want to be able to sleep well tonight.” Nia didn’t want to give Noah a chance to mess with her in how she froze up when she heard the clanging that he caused plus she wanted to leave the place. The ruins were giving her bad vibes. The infuriated girl stopped in front of her brother for a moment just to give him another glare before reaching out and grabbing onto his ear. Nia proceeded towards the meeting spot where the Lots were to meet up with their friends dragging her older brother along.

Feel free to have your character’s react to the setting they are in. But at this point in time they should all be meeting up in the designated spot in front of the lab. There the others will find Nia and Noah waiting for them.

Jolmee didn't be believe in the supernatural. Yes, she's read a boatload of books about monsters and fantasy worlds and ghosts, but that was just it. They were all fiction. So when she was invited, or rather dared, to come to a creepy old laboratory that exploded before she was even born and then a few decades, in the middle of the night, she kept that logic in her head as she walked up to the place that terrified the rest of their and other surrounding towns.

She brought a flashlight, just in case, but fortunately the light of the full moon lit up the ground with a soft blanket of silvery glow, which was enough for her and the others to see their surroundings. The crunching of the grass soon turned to the sound of rocks and pieces of blown-off laboratory as she walked up to the entrance of the place. Soon enough, she saw the twins whom awaited her, Jun, and Cal's arrival.

The night was pretty chilly, but the sight of Noah in the moonlight, with his grin of his first member of his little audience arriving on his lips, all made Jolmee's cheeks blush and made her all warm and tingly. For this she thanked the darkness that didn't allow for the other two to notice. Oh, why had she agreed to come if she was only going to practically drool over her friend's brother? Oh yeah, it was a dare, she had to.
'Crap,' she thought to herself, 'how will I even make it through the night? He's so close, and how would I even dare speak to him if he were to talk to me? Oh, this was a terrible mistake....'

But even so, she stayed put, knowing she couldn't back out if the dare. Especially since, when her parents found out, they were just happy their daughter was invited to something and told her to not come back home until the whole thing was done and over with. Yeah, she had pretty backwards parents. But when you pretty much are always quiet, reading, doing school work, and staying home, parents see Noah's dare as a chance for their only daughter to make some exciting high school memories, especially since she was going to only have one year of it left before she graduated and headed off to college.

Similar to Jolmee, Jun also read a lot of fiction in his time, although his readings were more visual and colorful. Unlike her, he saw this as his chance at his own wild adventure just like in the fiction he had saw. Since it was so late and he wanted tomorrow to be the day he revealed the new contacts he had gotten, Jun wore his glasses and he probably wouldn't be able to wear them after tonight.

While going off on his own, Jun had tried to do an action roll over a chair. The stunt not only left him with some bruises and even some scratches, it also covered him in some dust and webbing. Jun had started to dust himself when he felt something on his head. Feeling around cautiously, as his hand got close to whatever it was, the thing moved and eventually it came to the front where it had crawled down. It was a spider, and it was right on his glasses. In blind panic, Jun screamed in horror, and without a second thought, started to bash his flashlight right into his own glasses.

As stupid as that was, he did succeed in killing the spider . . . and his glasses. After this, Jun decided it was time to call it a night and head back to the front where they were supposed to meet up. This took him a while since he was now mostly blind due to the death of his glasses, but after a few trials and errors he had gotten to the meeting place. When he returned he spotted some blobs in the distance, and his desire for something unnatural filled in the blanks for him.

"Ghosts?" He asked excitedly as he ran forward to get a closer look, only to trip on some object. He fell forward and even skidded a bit on the ground, dropping both his flashlight and his glasses. Still on the ground, Jun quickly patted around to first pick up his flashlight, then what was left of his glasses. The flashlight was easier to find, but the remains of his glasses took a bit longer. When he finally looked up and shined the light at the blobs that he was closer to now, he could make out their figures and some features.
"Not ghosts." Jun concluded sadly as he got up on his feet and walked towards them. Maybe he should have let the spider bit him and hope it was radioactive enough to give him super powers, because now he would just have to go school like everyone else again.

As Jolmee saw Jun come by, she knew he was the source of the screaming. When he fell again, Jolmee went over to him to help with his glasses, though he groped the floor and found the broken pair first.
"Not ghosts..." was his sad reply, though she knew he was a little relieved by that fact.
"Do you have an extra pair of glasses?" She asked him, as quiet as a whisper but loud enough that Jun could hear.
She hoped he did, because if not, this would be a long, long night. Most of it involving her going with him everywhere so he wouldn't fall and hurt himself even more and so he could know where to go to leave once their fateful night was over.
Luckily, though, this also meant they had another flashlight, which Jolmee was happy about.
Even though she was okay with being in the dark when she was home, she found the darkness here to be a little unsettling, to say the least.
And what she was afraid of most wasn't the town's lore of the supposed ghosts or hauntings. It was what was left behind that made her weary to be walking around here willy-nilly.
'What if whatever created the explosion was still able to go off? And our walking here, possibly stepping on it, would make it go off once more?' She tried suppressing the thought of their possible impending doom. After all, they weren't the first dumb teenagers to come here after sunset.

Callie knew it was probably stupid to take one of her dad's cars to the lab, but she didn't really care at this point. She had her driver's permit, she was allowed to drive around until 1am, granted she always had to drive with someone who had their license, but it was only a short way away. When she first arrived, she was excited. It was an adventure, exploring the unknown, the risk of something dangerous popping up. Her psychological state probably wasn't at it's healthiest state; she'd fought with her father just before she left, her adrenaline running high.

When she entered, Cal could feel the weird energy in the lab. Her heels clicked loudly on the old, dusty floors. She wandered around, looking for something interesting. The remains of the lab were covered in mold and dust, which made Callie feel uncomfortable. She wasn't really a nature kind of person. She was raised with dozens of staff working in her home, she'd never had to live with any kind of uncleanliness, it was unusual.

After around fifteen minutes of looking, she found nothing appealing enough and set off for the agreed upon meeting spot in front of the lab. She heard something move ahead of her that made her hesitate, but when the figure tripped and she heard what seemed like glasses falling to the ground, Cal automatically recognized Jun. She smiled and walked towards him, seeing Nia, Noah and Jolmee waiting for them.

"I sincerely doubt it, Jolmee. It exploded yearrs ago, whatever made it explode probably diffused into the air by now. Even if it didn't, I doubt a couple of hundred pound teens'll trigger anything." Callie dismissed, trying to calm the girl.

Catching sight of all three of his and Nia's friends, Noah waved wildly with his one free hand, his other clutching tightly to the small ball in his pocket. "Guys! Come on, over here!" he called out, bouncing on the balls of his feet, a giant grin plastered across his face. He was ecstatic to see that everyone had actually shown up and not chickened out! Although, he knew Nia most likely would have if he hadn't dragged her with him.

Watching as they walked closer, he began to shift from foot to foot, unable to stop himself from moving, the excitement and mystery of being here almost too much for the poor boy. Listening as Callie responded to Jolmee's worries, Noah could only smile lightly. "Yeah, don't worry Jolmee~" he chirped, suddenly lunging forward, unable to stand still any longer. Wrapping an arm around her shoulders, he grinned cheekily at her, before glancing around at the others. "It's all safe! I wouldn't dare you to do something dangerous!" he laughed.

"Now come on, come on!" he continued, gently leading her towards where he had left Nia, nodding towards the others to follow. "You guys won't believe what I found!" he bragged, slowly pulling his hand out of his pocket once everyone had gathered close. Slowly loosening his grip on the small black ball, he held it out proudly for the four to see.

Nia looked over towards the familiar shapes of their friends who were making their way over towards them. Although it seemed that they were running into some trouble, especially Jun. She couldn't exactly see what was occurring but they began moving once more when it seemed that the problem was solved. Noah spotted them as well.

Nia gave a slight tch when Noah slipped from her grip, running off towards their group of friends like a dog. Now that Nia thought about it, Noah was kind of like a dog; energetic, friendly, and extremely loyal. She gave a slight sigh and rubbed her temples a bit as she watched her high energy brother herded the others towards the designated meeting place. The young girl gave a small smile as she watched him interact with the others, happy when the others were gathered around. But her smile didn't last long when Noah pulled out something from his pocket.

Reflexively Nia swiped it out of his hands without really getting a good look at it since almost everything Noah found either jumped onto her, scared her, or grossed her out. So Nia had the plan in mind to grab whatever he had and quickly throw it away but the object was a ball. Curiosity stopped Nia from throwing the object away. She turned it over in her hands and saw an odd-looking 8 encircled around a white circle. It was a magic 8 ball toy. Nia turned it then to the other side where the words usually appear. It was blank. Without really thinking about it Nia shook it for kicks. What she wasn't expecting was for the words Electrokinesis to appear on the surface of the ball and to feel a large shock surge through her body. Nia felt herself collapsing onto her knees from the shock. The ball fell from her hands and rolled towards the group. "Ouch. What kind of magic 8 ball is that? Is it some kind of prank?" Nia coughed out still feeling some kind of tingling sensations crawling on her body.

As soon as Noah came over and wrapped his arm around Jolmee, the poor girl started to blush like mad. She hoped to all of the gods out there that he didn't see, and it seemed that her prayer had worked, for instead of Noah seeing her like that, he was focused on the Magic 8 Ball he had in his hand.

Jolmee would have thought to herself 'why did he have the magic 8 ball? What use was there to the 1980's toy in a place like this? And why was he so excited about it?' But her brain was filled with 'Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh, he's touching me. He's actually touching me, his arm's on my shoulders and he's so close!!! AGH!! What do I do? What do I DO!?!?'

Even though she had all those things running through her head, the only sound to come out of her mouth was a small squeak as his arm was wrapped around her shoulders.

Fortunately, Nia had quickly taken hold of the ball, which distracted everyone as they all wanted to take a look at what it was that interested Noah so much. This meant, thankfully, that none of them either heard or payed attention to the squeak. Something she did NOT need right now was someone to notice her pretty much dying from blushing and say something about it. Especially right in front of Noah.

"Ouch! What kind of magic 8 ball is that? Is it some kind of prank?" Nia exclaimed loudly as she was seemingly shocked with electricity. The weird thing was, the electricity didn't come from any broken machinery or any power cables or lines from the destroyed laboratory, like something that Jolmee would have guessed. It came from the toy. Jolmee would have definitely asked if Nia was okay, or helped her in case she was hurt, but her boundless nervousness and impending doom of having her crush still be so close to her made her not be able to move or speak. Oh gosh, did she have it baaaad!

Cal couldn't help but notice Jolmee's blush when Noah threw his arm around her. Callie suspected that she liked him for a while, but she had no idea whether or not Noah felt the same. She'd been meaning to pull him aside to ask him about it, but she hadn't had the chance to with homework and her forgetful nature.

"Where the hell did you find that?" Cal asked Noah curiously, walking closer to inspect the 8 ball. Before she could take a look at it, Nia took it out of his hands. Cal watched with interest as Nia shook it and her features were overcome with shock.

"You okay?" Callie asked Nia, reflexively going over to her to make sure she was alright. She couldn't help but think about what the hell had happened. Why did the ball cause such a severe reaction? How did an old toy emit what seemed like powerful electrical shocks? Cal reached for the 8 ball, wanting to investigate further. She tried to retrieve as cautiously as possible so as not to shake it, but she must have picked it up too quickly because when she looked at it, the word on the side was changing. Pyrokinesis. Cal dreaded what would happen next, knowing it would be similar to what Nia had just experienced, and it hit her almost immediately. A boiling feeling spread through her limbs, but was mostly concentrated in her head.

"Noah, tell us honestly, is this one of your pranks?" Cal asked, irate.

Jun shook his head at Jolmee's earlier question but didn't get to say much of since Noah seemed to be excited by something. When the male wrapped his arm around Jolmee, Jun did not take notice of his friend's embarrassment since he was not just blind but he was also interested in what Noah was showing them. "What are you guys playing with it?" He asked as he simply watched Nia take the black ball from Noah, then shake it. Then Callie took it from Nia, seemingly concerned about something.

Finally it clicked in Jun's head. A magic 8 ball, that were playing with one of those toys. Hearing Callie ask Noah if it was a prank, he couldn't help but laugh a little. "If this was one of Noah's pranks, I think he could do something better than an old toy." He said as he stepped closer and held his hand out, "Can I see it? I want to see if its been possessed by a spirit." Although he had asked, in his excitement he ended up just taking it from her anyways.

"You're supposed ask it a question before you shake it." He explained seriously as if it was some crime to not use the Magic 8 Ball properly. "Are you possessed by a spirit?" Jun asked the toy before giving it a shake. Jun had to lean in closer to read the word and even then he wiped his eyes unsure. Hydrokinesis. That wasn't a typical answer from these things, and he was starting to debate whether or not he had read it correctly. Just as he was going to give it another shake, a a flowing sensation washed over him. Usually Jun would have given the toy another shake, but he no longer felt like doing so and simply held it out. "That was . . . Mildly interesting. Disappointing, but still kind of interesting."

"Aw come on!" Noah complained as his younger sister snatched his prize out of his hand. He went to snatch it back from her but paused when he saw her jerk and cry out. He furrowed his brow, unsure how the thing could've shocked her that bad, seeing as he hadn't done anything to it yet. "Static...?" he muttered to himself as Callie grabbed the ball, something similar happening to her as well.

Somewhat offended by her question, he went to reach for the ball himself again only for Jun to grab it. Noah huffed in annoyance, lifting his arm from around Jolmee's shoulders to cross his arms over his chest. "I just found it!" he complained. "I've been hiding it in my pocket so Nia wouldn't make me put it back. I haven't had time to do anything to it!" he whined, the unsaid 'yet' hanging for everyone to hear. He turned towards Jun, laughing as he made a joke out of the 8 Ball, only to frown at his words as he held out the ball. With a sigh, he uncrossed his arms and snatched the ball back. "What's the big fuss about this thing anyway?" he asked, shaking the ball as he held it up to his eyes, squinting at it.

It happened instantaneously. The second he'd finished giving the device a small shake, he could just make out the first word before a sudden high pitched ringing sounded in his ears, causing him to drop the ball, his hands shooting up to clutch at his ears. Hunching over he let out a harsh groan as his jaw began to ache, causing his mouth to drop open. It seemed to last for hours but in actuality was only seconds. Slowly standing up straight, Noah slowly lowered his now shaking hands, holding them in front of them half checking to see if there was blood on them. "What the hell...." he mumbled, looking up at the others with wide eyes.

As soon as Noah took his arm off of Jolmee, the girl was finally able to think clearly.
"We shouldn't touch that thing if it's causing us to have different symptoms!" She said, though it came out in a way that you'd have to be focusing on her voice to hear what she was saying. Of course, Noah being Noah, he didn't hear her warning and ended up grabbing the Magic 8 Ball for himself once more.

The sounds of his shriek of pain followed by moaning made Jolmee gasp and cover her mouth in saddened surprise.
"Are you okay?!" She asked in a louder voice this time, hoping to get a positive response from the boy. When she didn't, she did something no one else would have guessed she'd ever do.

She instinctively grabbed the ball out of his hands to try and relieve his anguish. And, by that regard, the jerking of her arm to grab the ball made the little die in the water inside turn over to a new side. Jolmee, terrified of what she would receive from the seemingly dangerous decades-old toy, was pleasantly surprised. For when she put the ball down and placed her hands on Noah's forehead in an involuntary action, his pain went away. It drained her of her energy afterwords, evident by her heavy breathing and beads of sweat forming on her face, but she didn't care.

"What the hell?" Noah asked to himself, checking out his hands.
"I... I think I... healed him..." was her only reply to what had just happened, and that's exactly what had happened. For the word she saw on the die side was 'HEALING'.

This must be some kind of long-extended prank that someone was pulling. Powers? Bah. Impossible...
Nia's body eventually calmed down from the shock she received. Well some parts were calmer than others...like her tongue. The girl couldn't feel her tongue. Shit. But it didn't seem like she was the only one experiencing issues. initially Nia tried to call out to Callie and stop her from picking up the toy and shaking it but her tongue was numb. Callie then became the second victim of the toy. She appeared annoyed and in pain when she read whatever appeared on the toy. Callie echoed her question, but directed it to Noah this time. Nia wouldn't be surprised if this was one of his pranks, but how he was managing would be something a little beyond him.

Nia looked up as she watched Jun fall victim to the toy as well. But the boy didn't seem to receive any kind of pain. What is going on? Nia wanted to speak out but majority of her tongue was still numb and she didn't want to try speaking in front of them with a numb tongue. When Noah spoke up to defend himself Nia knew then ruled out the idea that this was a prank of Noah's. From his expressions he appeared surprised. He took the ball from Jun and shook it himself. She watched as he folded over in pain. Nia wanted to reach out to comfort him, but Jolmee beat her to it. Which was fine. Nia was aware of Jolmee's feelings for Noah anyways.

Jolmee was the last to posses the toy. At this point Nia really wanted to stop her from shaking it, but the girl was quick to shake it. A small breath of relief left Nia's mouth when she saw that Jolmee didn't cringe from any pain. But it seemed as though Noah's pain was relieved. Healed him? "Let me see the ball," Nia croaked out, her tongue somewhat functional. She retrieved the toy from Jolmee's hands and read what was on the die. But it was blank. Nia tried shaking it once more, slightly curious and scared at the same time, but nothing showed on the surface. It appeared broken. The brown-haired girl sighed, irritated with the strange situation. She hated when she didn't know what was going on or why something happened. At this point she was in the dark. And it didn't help that it was really late at night and she was tired, more so from the shock she received.

"All right so obviously this is not a prank. And this is not a normal magic 8 ball. And considering that we're standing in the ruins of a laboratory this was probably an experiment of some kind," Nia began speaking, holding up the 8 ball, "As much as I want to search for answers we have school tomorrow. It doesn't seem like anything major happened to us. It's probably just a small effect you feel when you shake the ball. But I would like for all of us to meet up tomorrow morning before school starts. I want to make sure all of us are okay and did not receive any major after effects from this toy. If there is any that is." The whole situation seemed so odd that Nia was not so confident in her words. She just wasn't sure what was going on. As much as she wanted to reassure her friends, she didn't know how to. This was something beyond her power. Hopefully the others were okay with being thrown into a fog of mystery. She looked up to the sky that was slowly changing to a lighter shade dark blue. "C'mon we better get going. It's probably already past midnight."

Nia held onto the toy. She didn't want to chunk it away especially after what it did to her and her friends. The girl brought it with her to school, making sure to tuck it away from the eyes of others.
It was bright and early in the morning, and a headache dominated Nia's head. She sighed and squinted her eyes as she walked down the hallway towards her locker. Unfortunately Nia did not receive much sleep despite being tired. Her mind was wide awake and thinking up of reasons and scenarios for the magic 8 ball. It was an endless stream of questions and possible answers. But nothing seemed to fit to the situation. And the odd electrical outage at her home did not help Nia. The girl was going through her usual morning routine when she sneezed, her hand accidentally touching an electrical outlet. What followed afterwards was weird since all the electrical appliances and lights went out in her home. This was weird since it was only the Lots' home that was affected. All the other homes around them had electricity. Her parents believed that maybe a circuit in the box finally gave out, and Nia forced herself to believe that that was the reason. But the recent events that occurred last night kept tugging at her brain. She didn't want to jump to wild conclusions which is why she wanted to meet up with the gang. "It was just a coincidence," Nia kept whispering to herself as she opened her locker.

You can have an odd occurrence happen at your character's home! But I would like for them to gather around Nia's locker. But be careful or she may accidentally shock you! Write away the misfortunes my friends.

Trudging his way through the halls of the school, Noah yawned, rubbing at his eyes. Due to the freak electrical issues his house had had, he hadn't gotten much sleep. Not to mention that he kept waking himself up with a loud screech every time his mouth fell open when he moved. So between having no power, his parents confusion, Nia freaking out, and himself not being able to sleep, Noah was having a particularly crappy morning.

Despite them being twins, Noah's locker was no where near Nia's, so upon arriving the two had split up with plans to meet with the gang by her locker, seeing as it was closer to their first period. So with an armful of books and his bag slung over his shoulder, Noah made his way to his sisters locker, one arm digging in his pocket for his wallet, trying to find a dollar so he could snag something loaded with sugar and caffeine from the vending machine before the bell rang. There was no way he was staying awake otherwise. He groaned only coming up with two quarters. He figured he'd ask Nia and hope she wouldn't be stingy about him wasting his money on sugary crap. He really needed help this morning.

"Sis!" he called out, catching sight of her head sticking in her locker. Jogging the rest of the way over, he realized the others hadn't arrived yet. Figuring this was the best time, he quickly put on his best innocent look and smiled at his younger sister. "Niiiiiiaaaa~" he sang softly. "Do you have a dollar I could use?"

Jun's nerves kept him from getting any sleep that night, and he spent most of the night posting to one of his lesser known social media sites, retelling an exaggerated story of the adventures he had with his friends. Despite his lack of sleep, he was more than ready for the first day of school, or at least he thought so. He had run into some unexpected issues during the morning. In the shower, the water pipes suddenly acted up and blasted him with water . . . No biggy, he finished his shower anyways. Next was the issue of putting in contacts, which he had failed to practice putting in due to the anticipated surprise he wanted to have when he used them instead of his glasses (completely busted, and unusable at the moment). It was a good thing he woke up early, because he spent nearly an hour to get them in.

The biggest issue was when Jun was walking to school, as it seemed like just as he passed a house with sprinklers on, the cycle was timed to be spraying at him just as he passed. So he had to run to school . . . No biggy, he needed the wake up call anyways, he would still have a good day. Unlike the siblings, Jun didn't sign up for a locker this school year and simply just carried a small backpack with him. He ended up going to a vending machine for an extra energy drink to help boost his morning. Usually he refrained from having one energy drink a day, but he deserved it after his run, and he would probably need it for the morning classes.
This line of thought had somehow reminded him that they had all planned to meet up before school, so once again he was running to get to Nia's locker. Even with his contacts in, he had ran past Nia's locker, and had to back pedal over to them.
"Hey guys!" He greeted them, panting slightly. For his 'no biggy' attitude, his first day appearance did not survive the ordeal. He was still drying up from the sprinklers, he had run around all over the place, and he spilt some of his energy drink while running so now his hand was all sticky . . . But he had his new contacts in, so that was a positive bonus.

Nothing much happened at the home of Jolmee. She just simply got up, ate, washed up, got ready for school, then went onto the bus. Something what was different was what she dreamed about. Seeing as the whole Magic 8 Ball incident happened just last night, and late into the night, she thought she'd be too tired to even go about her normal school day, not to mention dream a kind of dream that she somehow dreamed last night. Being so close to Noah for such a long period of time, feeling his warmth, his muscles, his confidence just beaming from his form... and then suddenly, she herself felt the same way, aside from the muscles part. She had her own warmth, her own confidence, her own kind of power. It was an experience she had never felt before, dream or reality.

She didn't pay much heed to it, though, thinking it was only a dream. As she sat on the seat closest to the bus driver, though, something weird happened. The kid beside her, who always had bad allergies in the morning, instantly stopped sneezing and sniffling when Jolmee got near him. It wouldn't have been too bizarre, but this kid had BAD allergies that wouldn't stop for the duration of the bus ride, every day, every year. But not today.

'Oh gosh, was what happened last night... real? Did I... heal him?!' Jolmee thought to herself, the bus just then arriving at school. She had to meet up with the rest of the gang, now.

"Guys, did weird things happen to you this morning too?" She asked as she met up with the twins and Jun, who were the first ones at 'the spot'.
