BACKSTORY:
Nikki's life wasn't the easiest she grew with her father who was a leader of a mafia. She basically grew training to be one herself. But she did have a saving grace that kept her from getting drowned in that mafia world, her mother. Her mother was the complete opposite of he father. She wondered why they were even married. Soon came to find out her mother was forced to marry him so he could have child to take his place when he was gone. She when finding this out she confronted her father telling him she wasn't helping him anymore but Nikki's father only threaten her. He told her if Nikki didn't do as she was told then he would kill her mother. So she became trapped not wanting her mother to get hurt.

One night her father sent her to kill some club owner who apparently was the leader of a mafia. She was able to make it all the way to his private office but at the last min she got caught. But she was surprised when he asked her to join him instead of killing her. But she knew she couldn't not with her mother in danger. At the moment she received a call on her ear piece. One of the members informed her there was a big fight between her mother and father and her mother ended up getting a gun and shot him.

Days later she decided to join up under the man that gave her the men who worked for her father were now working under him. Her mother ended up leaving, wanting to go see her family she was taken away from. Of course they were both sad when they parted but they knew they would see each other again. Ever since then things have been actually a lot better for her.

BACKSTORY:
Dorothy wasn't always a wild child. She actually grew up in a pretty conservative home. She was also super shy and innocent. When she finally left home and moved to New York it was the best thing ever. It was her first time being on her own and she was super excited. Everything was fine for a while until she met this guy. Dorothy thought he loved her but soon came to realize he was only tricking her. She ended up being captured and was put into human trafficking and raped. Luckily after that no one really wanted her. She didn't look like the other girls did who were all made up. So she used it to try to get out of the situation she was in.

Dorothy soon completely changed her look. She died her hair, which was once blonde black and changed up her wardrobe and attitude. Soon enough she started chatting it up with the members of the mafia and they all became fond of her. Thy weren't even trying to put her through the trafficking anymore. This was when she started to become the party girl she is now. When hanging out with the members she would smoke drink and party with them. She began to really like it. She also realized how it easy it was to get what she wanted. She didn't even have to sleep with them.

One day she heard one of the members talking how much a pretty penny she would make if they put her bac in the market. After hearing that she moved fast to get chance to talk to the main man himself. Once she was able to meet with him all it took was a little convincing and he made her a official member.

During all this, even though you would never guess, she kind of hated men. Sure she didn't act like it but at times, if you pay attention, you can tell. She probably doesn't even realize it herself. She also ended up having a bad temper. Basically make one bad move and all her backed up emotions will come out and it's not a pretty sight.

Lorna suddenly heard some arguing going on but didn't really pay much attention. Her mother went into the living room to see what happening. Lorna crack the kitchen door opening watching everything that was happening. A man who seem to be the boss of the other men arguing with her dad told them to tie him up which they did. Her mother was being hold by one of the men. She watched as they talked and her father seem to be begging. She was scared out of her mind and stopped watching for a moment but then she heard her mother scream. Lorna ran from the kitchen and suddenly saw a bullet go through her father's head. Her mother wad hysterical and the Lorna suddenly found herself being dragged away by the men. It all happen so fast she didn't even have time to react. Lorna was 13 at the time and they sent her into the human trafficking. She abused and sexually abused for 5 years until she finally made her escape. She decided she was going to get out and had been planning for month. She never really thought it would work but it did. When she finally made it out she didn't really have anywhere to go. So she got a job and started working and studying like crazy so she could become a police officer. When she finally did you think she would be happy and proud of herself but no. Lorna had changed since that experienced. It was like she was surrounded by a never-ending darkness always having nightmares and not being able to trust people fully. She won't let people in so she doesn't have anyone who can be that candle in the darkness that surrounds her. He has a athletic physique, and just by looking at him, it would be hard to discern that fact that he's 30.

PERSONALITY:
Kaden's personality is part notorious gangster, part ruthless businessman, part family man, and part suave ladies' man.

His time in the mafia has taught him the ins and outs of organized crime. At the beginning of the roleplay, Kaden loves the criminal life and his time spent 'in the game' has allowed him to create connections that make it possible for him to excel in what he does, though he is starting to realize otherwise. He navigates the organized crime scene with ruthless efficiency, knowing who to make friends with, who to bribe, and who to eliminate at the drop of a dime. He peruses any business opportunity until he feels he has gotten the most favorable outcome possible.

Around his family, however, everything changes. It is not weird for Kaden to put his business on hold to spend time with his family, occasionally even sending others to handle business in his stead. This is extremely rare, however, since Kaden is old school in that he likes to handle all of his dealings himself, favoring face-to-face meetings and sit-downs instead of doing business over the phone like most modern day criminals.

It is no secret that he loves the opposite sex and been known to have extramarital relations with numerous other women. While he still values his work enough that he'll still deal with any women that gets in his way, he has shown unjustified mercy to women in the past, which has come back to bite him several times over the course of his criminal career. Some of his subordinates even say that this constant sleeping around is attempt at trying to recapture the love he once had for his daughter's now deceased mother, but they dare not say this to his face.

:BACKSTORY:
If Kaden's early life was a movie, it would be a grim drama filled with dramatic ups and downs. After grade school, Kaden spent most of his time away from home. He never really trusted his family, opting instead to create a family of his own which consisted of people from the street, people that he felt he could trust based on their actions and not just because society said so. During high school, he was involved with many petty crimes such as shoplifting and credit card fraud, eventually moving up to outright robbery and other crimes. Life was good, and Kaden thought his life couldn't get any better. That was, until he met the woman of his dreams...

Kaden became infatuated with a girl that attended his local high school, so much so, that the two had a illegitimate child at the age of 16. Coincidentally, soon after the birth of the child, then named Cassidy Marotti, her mother was ransomed and subsequently and murdered by some of what Kaden thought was his closest friends that betrayed him. Turns out, his 'friends' were members of a well known mafia at the time, a mafia led by a person named Don Camillo. Left with nothing but his daughter and a small amount of left over money from his past exploits, Kaden went through a bout of depression and went into hiding. In the months following Cassidy's mother's death, he often went to strip clubs and hired prostitutes in a attempt to fill the hole left by the death of the only person he ever truly loved.

Eventually, one night while looking at his sleeping daughter, who was still a baby at the time, Kaden realized that he wouldn't roll over and accept what Camillo and his crew had done to him. Over the next year, Kaden single-handedly dismantled Camillo's whole organization and made it his own, becoming one of the most ruthless, notorious, and skilled gangsters ever known in the process and earning himself the nickname 'Camillo's Heir'. Over the years, Kaden continued to strengthen his criminal organization, eventually turning it into one of the strongest and widely spread mafias in the area.

Soon, he met another woman to tickled his fancy, one Jade Marotti. Jade just so happened to have a child from a previous relationship and so did Kaden, so it was only natural that he accept her son with open arms. In time, Kaden eventually opened up a casino, called the 'Crimson Rose', both to clean his money earned through illegal means and to supplement his own income. Surprisingly, Kaden found that creating a legitimate business was fun, and now the casino is his pride and joy.

As of late, however, Kaden has found himself thinking more and more about getting out of the game, but he feels he is already in too deep to escape. More than anything, he just wants to live peacefully and quietly with the people that he truly loves. Until that point, though, Kaden will do whatever it takes to build his brand and protect the people loyal to him.

Russian-American Detective Alexander James Volkov, most just call him Aj or Wikipedia. He's your eccentric and classically trained pianist with a mind that roams farther then average, he retains knowledge like a genius but really it's just his curiosity and photogenic memory. He's got a keen eye, fun aura of mystery about him and doesn't hide from the truth unless he needs to. Aj grew up in the streets of lower New York to a absent American father and loving but Ill Russian mother, they were poor and to keep Alexander off the streets his mother put him to work learning the piano which she traded lessons of Russian language for their neighbors teaching Aj how to play the piano and voice lessons to pair with them.

Early years saw him learning the streets because people in his neighborhood didn't exactly follow richer society. They worked hard others conned and stole, joined gangs and dealt in drugs. Aj nearly fell in with the crowd but when his mother got too sick to work and died a few weeks later when he was fourteen, he vowed not to follow in the steps of other kids his age who joined gangs and committed crimes. Instead he spent time learning new things because his curiosity always got the better of him. He graduated from high school and went into the police academy, a small part of him wishing it would be like the movies. But he knew it wouldn't be.

Aj excelled at the tests because of his memory retention, while physically he was adept and would improve over the years. Enough athletic ability and speed to pair with a growing strength and will to move beyond the pain. But really it was his memory and intelligence that got him through. During his early years on the force Aj did his time patrolling the streets, moved on with undercover work, got his hands on a bomb and rigged it to a abandoned car then set it off with his cell phone while walking away just to prove a point and send a message, you see this was a undercover job and he staged the scene to make appear like he killed someone who crossed him, even used a body to set the scene. (Though really it was a body long dead and donated to science. But hey the lab no longer needed it right?)

Which was true kinda.... The lab was finished with the body and it had no known family to speak of. Truly he was a method and dedicated under cover cop...... which got him taken out of the field and undercover operations because he was too uncontrollable and eccentric for their liking.

Next was desk work to redeem himself and serve his punishment. Eventually Aj transferred out of the precinct and went on to become a detective in the city of New York, New York...... Glorius! Finally he had made it to the big leagues of police work. Now Aj had his chance to run his own investigations and be a real life version of Sherlock Holmes...... kinda.

He still had rules and regulations to follow not mention bosses to deal with. But whatever you might say about him, Detective Volkov got results, had fun, used his hobbies of learning and playing the piano while he solved his cases as a form of stress relief without the time off. Aj was often told "Curiosity killed the Cat.... Volkov" to which he smiled and replied "Yeah.... Good thing Volkov means wolf then, huh?" Before chuckling and walking away.

So while he might have his quirks, appear unusual and annoy people with his antics. Aj Volkov was a detective who could get results and not take a bribe to look the other way if you know what I mean. He was always persistent and willing to do whatever he saw necessary to get the case solved and job done. Even if it meant bending the rules a little to afford him some room.

Furthermore Aj considers himself a enthusiast because he is quite enthusiastic about a great number of things and learning more. He's a amateur writer, excellent on the piano and can carry a tune because of childhood voice lessons, he's also capable of speaking both Spanish and Russian in addition to his native English. He's been on the force for over fourteen years now and has studied more topics, fields of study and read more books then he count or others would willingly listen to as he tries list them all without taking hours to do so. Meaning while he's quite capable of his job and can do many things.... He's inexperienced with romance. So dedicated to his work that his time off is rare and he figures he wouldn't get noticed in such a way anyway so he keeps to his work and piano. While driving a classic 68 mustang that's his pride and joy, his non breathing partner if you will.

Backstory:
Robin was born to Jade and Alexander Parker in the Bronx, New York. Robin's biological father was never that much of the man of the house. He recieved very low income from work and often took loans from whoever was gullible enough to trust the rat.

In his early life, Robin missed out on most of his childhood due to his parents' financial issues. He often was made fun of at shool for constantly wearing the same clothes, scruffy hair and showing up to school untidily, and as a cause of this lacked friends in elementary school and part of middle shool.

When Robin had turned ten, his mother Jade had began to have an affair with Kaden Marotti, who in two years time would soon become his father. Robin instantly saw an overflow in people wanting to acquaint him, but instead remained humble and kept low.

In the Marotti house though it seemed everything was perfect. Robin had gained a younger sister and cared for her and her father dearly. At the age of seventeen, it became obvious that under the covers there was something Kaden Marotti was hiding, Robin intended to find out.

The church gave her the last name Esposito, meaning that she was abandoned, the name in Latin is "exponere", which indirectly refers to 'leave outside'.

Amanda didn't like the church or the people in it and started rebelling by the time she was 12, she was never adopted by any parents or families and the church raised false hopes saying that she will find a family. She started running around the streets stealing from people and meeting a gunsmith that taught her how to shoot and defend for herself. His son and Amanda had a close relationship as well, they would run off together and sit in a tree in a local park.
