One thousand years ago, the Demon Beelzebub walked upon the Earth. Beelzebub was taller than the highest mountains and more vicious than the most terrible storms. It was a scourge to humanity, almost wiping it to extinction. Yet, the Demon had one fatal weakness. It was immune to the Light, a special power that some humans possessed.
Gol was the first Master of the Light. In a battle that lasted 100 days and 100 nights, Gol was finally able to vanquish Beelzebub to the Underworld. After that battle, Gol was overcome with the Light and died. His Light was passed on to his descendants who passed it on to their descendants.
Now it is the year 1047. The majority of people are peasants who live on fiefs ruled by lords and kings. Only around 2% of the population has the Light and even less than that are able to use it. More and more people are regarding the Light as just a myth and Beelzebub as a fairy tale.
However, a darkness is spreading. In the North, the evil king Asaroth is consolidating his power for a huge attack on the Southern Lands. Asaroth made a pact with Beelzebub and was offered immense Shadow power and in exchange, he would unleash Beelzebub upon the Earth once again.

We will be playing as a motley group of adventurers brought together by the Light. I'll explain the Light if interest is shown and explain the rules of the roleplay as well.
I'll be accepting no more than 12 players, so first come first serve. Whoever has their character sheet up first gets accepted and so on.
