  yeonsoo is the only child to a hard-working single mother. their relationship was loving, but not close. so she has a hard-time showing her love to someone, even though she feels things deeply. she's a daydreamer, always staring into things & stuck in her own world. when she's not reading, she's either making or looking at art. it's also her way of communicating because words fail her most of the times.
  her mother was strict to her about grades, but yeonsoo was never academically gifted, which put a restraint in their relationship for some time but that was eventually fixed when they both realized she is a brilliant artist.
