Tech Linux Mint 18.1 or Windows 10?

Thinking about switching from Windows 10 to Linux Mint. Opinions on which one is better?

I think Windows 10 gives a more user friendly interface and the most support for gaming. And that's all I need as a gamer myself. Just, it will try to have tracking options which you can turn off as you install it, thankfully.

You forgot one thing, Windows 10 lags alot. Even if your computer is a gaming machine.

Might not be fully implemented across all platforms yet. One of the tech sites I follow had an article on it.
