Reed gets up he turns to Kriss and points to a trunk, indicating to hide while putting a finger over his mouth to signal to do it quietly.

Kris thought that the idea was a little strange, but she had to admit, it would be a good hiding spot, if a little cramped. Luckily, she had a skinny build, however the height might be a problem...


But she slowly got up, and tip toed to the chest. She silently opened the lid, frowning at the boots that were stored at the bottom. She grabbed them, and stored them underneath Reed's bed. Then she climbed into the trunk, not entirely happy, and closed the lid, giving Reed the dirty eye the whole time.

Kye told him bluntly: "I was worried about you. I came over here to get to know you better, and then you were acting strangely."


Kye wasn't quite sure how to tell him that she wanted to befriend him. She'd never had any friends before, and she wasn't sure how to go about it.


Meanwhile, Claire came in and sat down, unknowingly on the very trunk that contained Kris.

Kris stiffened when the girl- she assumed Clair- sat down on the trunk. Already her back was beginning to hurt, and her legs were cramping in the tight space.


Oh hell, hurry it up, Reed!

"Listen, ok, I just want to be alone, do you mind if you could go along your merry way?" He says as he gestures towards the door.

Claire was eager to please, but due to having been raised alone for most of her life, did not know that continuing to needle Reed was not the best course of action.

Hayate never really had many chances to talk to people, which made him rather socially stupid and somewhat insensitive at times.


"Claire we should probably go, he has said he wants to be alone and it's probably because of what happened earlier."

"Are you trying to do something?" He asks in a confused tone as he looks at Claire.

Kris closed her eyes, feeling adrenaline start pumping. The small space- that was not a good idea.


It even smelled like the room that she has held in so long ago. Geez, that was disturbing.

Reed shakes his head and gets up gets up, walks over to the lady, and he gently picks her up by the back of her shirt,


"Listen ok, I'm sorry for having to use physical force but I simply don't have time, I'm sorry." He then sets her outside the door,


"I must bid you, ado." He then walks over and opens the trunks,


"Sorry." He whispers to Kriss.

Hayate walked out while Reed 'escorted' Claire out of the room.


"Well that was rude," he turned to the girls, "Anyway do you think they have a library here? Theres this book I want to reed called Ulysses, I hear it's a really challenging read. So I'll see you both later then okay?"

Kris quickly scrambled out of the trunk, falling when her cramped legs gave out on her.


Groaning lightly, she stood up and stretched her legs. "You either need a better hiding spot, or a bigger chest." She muttered, cracking her back.
