Reason for traveling to the Galar Region: to research the delicious curry

Backstory:
Onyx was born in Turffield of the Galar region and was a childhood friend of Milo. When Onyx turned ten she was excited to get her first pokemon (yamper), but unlike her friend she wasn't too interested in completing the gym challenges. She was much more interested in Pokemon contests she'd seen on tv. They weren't big in Galar, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. She traveled with Milo through his challenge to help out, and to help train her pokemon too. He didn't win, but it was fun. Not to mention him becoming the gym leader was pretty awesome too.

After two years of training and saving up money she traveled to Sinnoh to start competing. She won the grand ribbon on her first go round at age 12. From there she went on to travel to Hoenn and eventually won the grand ribbon there too at age 14. Feeling a bit homesick she decided to come back home to the Galar region. She was surprised to see Leon was still the undefeated champion and decided to finally try her luck at the gym challenge.

Jjust a couple things, kanto has no contests, a Sinnoh sandshrew is just a regular sandshrew, unless you meant the Alolan sandshrew which is an ice type

It did in the anime, sorry I can change it to Hoenn. Also I was more just stating that is where she caught it, but yes it's a regular Sandshrew.

Odd, I don't remember contests in kanto, but fair enough, looks good

IIRC The "Kanto" contests weren't the same kind as Hoen did. It was more just a fun, carnival type of thing almost I think. Though, I think they are mentioned in passing when Ash and Company happen to be near TV's etc.
ANYWAY, character will be up in next post.

Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearence: Same as the Picture, but has Alolan Vulpix Blue hair. Eyes are Lapras Blue. He also doesn't make the same Expression.

Backstory: Born in Alola, Min found Luna injured in his backyard when he was 10. Luna took a liking to Min and stayed nearby, even deciding to let herself be caught, though she never stays in the ball. a Year later, he went and picked Snowy for his "first" Pokemon. Luna had made it clear early on she had no intention of fighting. Min proceeded to take and complete the Alolan Islands challenge, Even gaining himself a Pikachu along the way.
After finishing the challenge, he decided to head over to the Galar region next, where he almost immediately caught a Frostmoth.
