The newly founded communist regime, has no state sponsored culture. Instead is a conglomerate of all the cultures living under it's rule. Primarily promotes the worth of the individual, granting equal rights and privileges to everyone.
History:
Formerly Baskaal, the People's Republic was created to push the world towards a more acceptable form of government instead of the power going to those born into prominence. The revolution hopes to spread over the world and ensure a good life for all.
Strengths:
A centrally planned economy, resources are used at maximum efficency.
The most loyal population, as the are actively involved.
Weaknesses:
A new nation, and a threat to the existing ones, they have minimal allies outside their borders. The most geographically isolated region, it takes time and resources to get to other places.

Bio:
Stolen from his parents by the Illithid as a child, he was raised by them. They used their psionic magic on him to enthrall him, however he was able to resist due to some innate power inside him. The elder brain realized this by his eighth birthday, but refused to alert the others as a test of their ability. Because the Illithid believed he was compelled to only do as instructed he was able to relay his own orders to them as if they were from the elder brain. With this he was able to eventually take control of the entire hive at the young age of 19. During his time with the Illithid he experienced and witnessed many terrible things, scarring his psyche permanently.

His sociopathic nature was nurtured with the Illithid, it being encouraged in their culture. Once he took control of the hive, the elder brain took him in as one of the own Illithid, feeding him secrets otherwise unknown to the world. The strongest mages taught him how to use their enthralling magic, and how to fight with the might of a psion. On his twenty first birthday the elder brain sent Alekzander on the most important mission the hive had ever been involved in. He was to overthrow one of the five kingdoms, claiming it for the hive.

Alekzander gladly took on the mission, excited to experience the world for once. He left the hive's underground cave, located on a peninsula within the icy lands of Baskaal. He has since spent the last thirteen years enthralling and swindling people to gain popularity until eventually he is seen as their new savior. The poor were tired of being trampled on, the rich wanted to be the first to say they helped the new revolution. All the pieces were there already, Alekzander was simply the catalyst.

Charismatic, always able to tell people what they want to hear since he can read their minds.
Weaknesses:
Loyal to the elder brain, and will compromise any mission to protect it.
Relies on psionic abilities, not knowing much besides them.
If people are aware of his abilities, they can use them against him.​

The entire nation is comprised of mages; wizards, sorcerers, enchanters, and arcanists. Those without magic are exiled, or kept as servants.
History
The oldest continuing nation, has existed for over 1000 years. It maintains its presence by continuing the tradition of valueing only those blessed with magic. In the northern area lies the most prestigious college in all of Erebos, only allowing the most elite of mages access to its libraries and studies. The borders are tightly kept, magic warding and automated sentinels keeping the country secure. The nation has ancient trade agreements to make up for the lack of solid military presence so they can focus on education.

Culture
Spartanesque, values physical strength and combat potential over magic and education. Living in the desert, the worth of the individual matters more than the worth of the whole. Everyone has to be self sufficient before they can help others.
History
The government of fanalis changes the most regularly, as each leader is overcome by a new one through combat or direct challenges. Due to it's pride, they refuse to acknowledge their inability to support the military their culture has created and would rather rely on trade agreements than submit to mother nature.

The Initiator, tackling issues instead of ignoring them.

Relies on Andalar for resources to maintain it's military

Culture: The Empire holds a few different territories with varying culture. They are however adept at adapting the cultures of conquered peoples to their own and integrating new lands more effectively into the Empire. Vadian culture is centered around loyalty to the state, and making it strong and prosperous. It worships a pagan polythesitic pantheon of gods.
History:
Vadia started as one city. Vadia stands on a large hill surrounded by several smaller but still large hills. It sits at an intersection between three important rivers, making it in a perfect position to become a world power. It expanded as it diplomatically annexed or warred with their neighbors. They now inhabit a large swath of territory.
