"hehehe, are you ssssure thatssss what you want?"the voice seemed to be coming from nearly everywhere at once, but when smoke and fire erupted from the forest floor it became apparent where the demon was. The echo of steel leaving its sheathe filled the air and Aegon became a blur of motion. Yet he never reached his target. The demon cackled at his charge and several dozen three eyed ravens at least three times the size of the normal bird slammed into him taking him off of his feet and erupting in the air, leaving puffs of soot, blood, amd feathers. Aegon fell hard on the ground, his armor in tatters and blood leaking from his leg where he had landed on his blade "Oww." was all he uttered as he stood to his feet again.
"you know what they ssssay about first impresssssionssss boy." the demon said as he began cackling clearly unimpressed with Aegons lunge.

 

[spacient]

Nyx jumped back when the army of three-eyes birds erupted from the ground. When they exploded, she had to her face in her arm, blinking away the soot, blood, and feathers in the air. When she could see clearly, she looked up at the demon again and aimed her arrow at its body. She found a clear mark, released the arrow and looked for cover so she could hit it again from a different angle while it was distracted by a bleeding Aegon.

The first arrow struck the demon right in the center of its chest causing it to hiss in pain, but it slipped under the second one placing its hands together and unleashing a jet of flames towards Nyx.

Meanwhile Aegon took a handful of powder feom his bad and dropped it onto his wound wincing a bit, but the bleeding had stopped. He tore the shattered armor off of himself and gripped his blade in both hands lunging again at the demons back...​

Nyx ran, trying to get behind cover as she dodged the plume of fire aimed right at her. By the time she got behind a tree, she felt a hot sting on her legs and she saw that part of her clothes caught fire. Quickly she patted herself down with a hiss, knowing she would be burned underneath. She turned, peeking around the trunk but quickly pulling back as another ball of flame was aimed at her head.

The fire stopped suddenly and an inhuman, screech came from the bug-demon. It turned around as it saw Aegon stabbed it. It lurched, its legs flailing toward the man and started snapping and released a plume of fire
