GUTIERREZ, "GUTS", ADOLFO
38 YRS. - D.O.B 14 MAR 1985
MALE

Almond tone skin, brown eyes, and black hair styled to a slicked-back crew cut. Wide, rounded jaw with a thin moustache trimmed as per regulation. Left forearm wrapped in a simple tropical leaf tattoo sleeve. Muscular from intense physical training, but not absurdly so. Doesn't stand out in a crowd.

POLICE EXPERIENCE - 10 YEARS S.W.A.T EXPERIENCE

When searching for a successor to lead L.S.P.D S.W.A.T, Gutierrez was the unanimous natural choice. His nickname is not only a play on his surname, but also rings true when it matters most, as Guts has been decorated for bravery on two occasions during his career. Ice cold under pressure, Gutierrez maintains a similar aura of confidence on and off the job, wielding a list of mantras he lives by and is willing to spout at any opportunity. Thoughtful to the fullest, Gutierrez will be the first to volunteer to help and the last to leave, no matter the occasion. The archetypal wingman, officers can breathe easy knowing Guts is watching their backs.
Born and raised in the south side of Los Suenos, Adolfo Gutierrez knows his response area like the back of his hand. If you ask his family, they'd joke that it was so obvious he'd be a cop, his first words were "license and registration". Enrolling in the academy nearly straight out of school, Gutierrez quickly lived up to expectations, taking part in several high-profile operations early in his career, including a local raid that resulted in the rescue of two abducted children, for which he was awarded the Police Medal. Flaunted by L.S.P.D as a model officer, Gutierrez is well-liked by local business owners and is known to provide community training regularly. He lives comfortably with his wife and three daughters, ages 11, 8, and 5. Promoted to S.W.A.T field commander four years ago, Gutierrez is known as a reliable leader, an adaptive operator, and an even better friend.

CHOI, "BOK", JAKE
27
MALE

QY3fA6m.jpg
6'2" | 175 lbs
5 YEARS POLICE | 2 YEARS SWAT

Choi has a relaxed and unassuming way about him. He walks and talks like someone who just got out of the spa, smokes on the regular, and has a thing for calisthenics. The world is his gym. If it's nailed down, odds are he'll find a way to do chin ups or dips on it. Not that Choi's trying to impress anyone. He's just got that military mindset built into his day-to-day routine. And at the end his shift, you'll likely find him at the basketball court playing pick-up games with the local kids.
Choi is a third generation Korean American with family in the Little Seoul neighborhood. His grandparents came from Daegu by boat without papers or reliable connections. They quickly fell in with disreputable people who overworked them in sweat shops. They did what they had to do to survive and managed to raise six children. Choi's father was a U.S. Navy SEAL who was killed in action October 5th, 2005 during a raid on Al-Qaeda. His service weapon was returned from overseas by a fellow team member, who became a guiding figure in Choi's upbringing. They would go practice shooting at the Los Suenos Gun Club every weekend, and Choi learned more about his dad's history while longing to follow in his footsteps. Eventually, he decided to do some good around the local area and ended up joining the LSPD.
RED-TWO (SECOND MAN - TACTICAL GEAR)
ENGLISH/KOREAN BILLINGUAL. CARRIES HIS FATHER'S M11 SIG SAUER P-228 ON OPERATIONS.

Gaewska, "Giggles", Jane
35,F
RvL0Opk.jpg

Jane "Giggles" Gaewska is a pale Caucasian woman with brown eyes and short brown hair. Giggles caught her nickname due to constant laughter during debriefs, likely as a way to de-stress from a high octane situation. While on the job, Giggles presents herself as a no-nonsense go-getter, but as soon as even the slightest bit of relief is shown, it's safe to say that Gaewska is likely the first one to crack jokes, most at her own expense in order to bring the team spirit up.
5'8", 153lbs
12 YEARS OF SERVICE (LS County Sheriff's Department) / 3 YEARS OF S.W.A.T. EXPERIENCE
Gaewska comes off as serious and no-nonsense when on the job, but is heavily contrasted by her lackadaisical nature during downtime. Despite this, she's leaderly, organized and decisive, finding herself to be able to adapt to dynamic situations on the fly. Unfortunately, nobody is perfect so in work situations, Gaewska can come off as a bit harsh or brash, circumstance depending. If nothing, she remains a fairly forgiving individual, but tends to be stubborn when heated.
Born to a family of first generation Ukrainian/Polish immigrants, Gaewska was picked on in school due to her surname. With her mother passing while she was still at a young age, this had her being raised by a single father. Between work and other obligations, his time to spend with Jane was severely limited, this left her with a lot of time to learn about things outside of school.

Life was far from easy, but she grew regardless. When she turned sixteen, she started working at a local Polish restaurant. Washing the dishes initially and then moving on to waiting tables, she felt like something was lacking. The pay was alright, sure — but she wanted more. No, she needed more. She took to the world wide web and browsed, and browsed. College was out of the question, places were too expensive and she didn't exactly know what she'd go for, either way. Talking to one of her coworkers, she caught wind about the County Sheriff's Academy opening up soon. Feeling how that'd be a great break from the monotony of her life, she signed up and hasn't looked back since.

The first year was tough, with her Field Training Officer chewing her out at every step, and with her making many, many blunders. However, Gaewska did what she could to learn from her mistakes and improve. Eventually, she started filling out billets a few years down the line, and eventually decided to give Special Weapons a try.
BLUE-ONE (THIRD MAN - BREACHER)
Wears a desaturated Kotwica symbol on the back of her helmet, placed onto the velcro.

Amber “Gem“ Griffiths

31, Female
Amber looks fairly innocuous in a crowd, standing at about average height and with a fairly common athletic physique. She has pale, almost platinum, blonde hair which is often kept up in the military-style bun she was used to keeping it in for years. Her dark brown eyes tend to always come off as quite piercing.

Amber looks fairly average, though with the notable exception of burn scars around the left side of her neck from an accident that nearly left her discharged before the end of her contract with the British Armed Forces.
168cm (5’6)
63 kg (140 lbs)

10 years British Royal Marines, 5 years SWAT / Police
Amber comes across as a bit blasé, or at least as close as a career military type could get. She hopes to come off as chill or low key to her colleagues, but it tends to lean a bit harder toward aloof. Still, she doesn’t think of herself as particularly unfriendly or anything; she’s just been around this block before.
Amber was born to an American mother and Welsh father in a small town outside of Cardiff, Wales on 2 July, 1992. Her father was retired military and she found herself falling into the same track some time in secondary school. She enlisted in the Royal Armed Forces as soon as she was able - sixteen in the UK.

She excelled in the military, all things considered, though she often found herself bored with most of her assignments; British military deployments tended to be assisting Americans with their varied global conflicts more often than anything serious.

She did get her professional nickname - Gem - from her military service, though. “Amber’s a type of gemstone!” her commanding officer kept joking. She wasn’t crazy about it, but it stuck.

So it goes.

When her contract was coming to a close, she thought about retiring all together, but instead decided to try a slight shift in career. She was an American citizen technically, though she’d never lived there, so she figured herself eligible for different kinds of work in the states.

SWAT seemed to suit her quite a bit better.

Sierra-One (Sniper-One)

- Amber speaks somewhat broken Welsh thanks to the classes she took in school, but the military made it hard to fully keep up with.
- Amber has a small, pink hydrangea tattooed behind her left ear, though it's quite easy to miss unless you were looking for it.

JASON "SOCK" RAMIREZ
24
MALE

Jason is a fair skinned man of moderate height and lean build. He doesn't stick out from the crowd when wearing clothes. But when getting good look at his physique, the more his sprinter or fighter like physique makes itself known. He is often clean shaven with any number of buzzcuts and crewcuts. And he has ginger hair.

tumblr_oha0f3Zvlq1ulpjkco1_1280.png

5 FT 11
180 LBS
5 YEARS POLICE / 2 YEARS SWAT

PERSONALITY
Jason can be summed up as easy going, friendly and off the job. To the point where many people wouldn't have quite pegged as an operator. He enjoys cooking with his wife, often spends time with his daughter when possible and goes out with his wife to dinners. He took initiative on his own to learn brazillian jujitsu without having to go the extra mile to do so, simply because he'd enjoyed it. And he learned how to apply these to his job properly.

This changes when on the job however, where Jason can become serious and almost seemingly uptight at the flip of a switch. In his time on the force, Jason took a lot of people in alive. On the job however, Jason changes and becomes more methodical and uptight. He enjoys his job and yet seems particularly keen on letting this make him get reckless.

BIO

Jason "Sock" Ramirez is the son of a Male American Former Marine and a Woman who'd fled Colombia in the 70s. Born in California -- Jason was always a hyper kid who wanted to be something like his father was. Yet due in part to influence of his father and his own desire to serve his own community, Jason would ironically go off to join the police rather than the marines.

Jason would go on to the academy, where'd receive the nickname sock, for an incident forgotten by many. But that Jason himself refuses to talk about with most people aside from his wife and close friends. Soon however, the name "Sock" would be associated with Jason's penchant for non-lethal takedowns and proficiency in taking in many people alive in situations where they might be shot. This has earned Jason a bullet on one occasion, and he liked to think he learned a lesson about poor decision making.

Still yet -- he went on to become an operator in rapid time, entering SWAT only three years of policing.

HAGGERTY, "ELMER FUDD", BRIAN
54 YRS. - D.O.B 23 NOV 1968
MALE

Chief Elmer wears his decades of policing across his body, evident from his constant furrowed brow and forehead wrinkles underneath a thinning salt-and-pepper haircut straight out of the seventies. Less vigilant with personal training since he turned to command, the Chief has somewhat let himself go in recent years, developing a tame baby-bump gut and an aching back, courtesy of the endless desk work that comes with the territory. He typically dons a pair of beige slacks and a tucked-in LSPD polo denoting his rank, with a pair of classic cop Oakleys tucked into the collar.
6FT0IN - 255LBS
32 YRS
POLICE EXPERIENCE - 28 YRS SWAT EXPERIENCE

Somehow aged beyond his years, Elmer Fudd has always been a tough nut to crack - his nickname is no coincidence, he even sounds like the character sans-impediment. Though he is extremely confident in his abilities, and would never seem like the type to take advice, he does take his subordinates opinions seriously and isn't too stubborn to switch plans. After all, he can't afford to not be adaptable in this line of work. He's been doing this job long enough to know things when he sees them, and isn't afraid to make the hard calls so his unit doesn't have to. Though maybe not the best guy to get a drink with, the chief makes up for in experience what he lacks in sociability.
The Chief isn't one to fraternize much with the unit, but what is known about him is that he studied Law Administration of Justice at Los Suenos City College and proceeded directly into the police academy. He has one son and one daughter, the former of which is in the academy himself, and he has been a widower for two years. Haggerty has dedicated his entire life to policing, and despite his age, exhibits no intention to retire soon.
CHIEF OF POLICE / TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER OFFICER - CALLSIGN "TOC"

FLETCHER, "CROW", ALLEN
34 YRS. - D.O.B 07 AUG 1989
MALE

Light skinned, rather gaunt in the face, always sporting a 5 o'clock shadow and a head of neatly kept black hair is the profile of Allen Fletcher. He's rather unassuming in appearance, built modestly strong at a glance without catching eyes. He has a blocky frame with squared shoulders that rarely go un-slumped at the end of a long day. By his stature alone, most would assume Fletcher to be uptight or in some way rigid in personality, which throws most for a loop when they finally speak to him.

1687309378303.png1687310388006.png
5FT11IN - 185LBS
12 YEARS POLICE EXPERIENCE - 8 YEARS S.W.A.T EXPERIENCE

Crow is known for being up front about his intentions and opinions, rarely choosing to keep anything from friends, coworkers, or the barista at the coffee shop. Fletcher is talkative by nature, practically cawing at anyone in earshot willing to listen; one of the few reasons he was dubbed "Crow" by his peers. Allen is a true team player, always in the mindset of mission and brotherhood above all else. He'll take on the most daring calls to action if lives are on the line.
Allen Fletcher started out his career in the police force early on. He'd grown up in a military family, and while he could never see himself filling in the same role as them, he was happy to join an adjacent force; the L.S.P.D. He quickly gained experience on the job that elevated him to S.W.A.T for over half of his career, and has earned a handful of prestigious medals in his time. He was popular amongst his cohort; personable, altruistic, trusted, devoted; his spot firmly in the department only made the job he loved even better.
