Seated as was his custom in his study, the aged sorcerer sighed deeply as he mulled over recent events. How had things come to the point they had? He often asked himself this, particularly when considering the developments regarding Xehanort.


Opening his eyes, he gazed about the room, glancing over every occupant. There was, of course, Mickey, the King of Disney Castle, slowly pacing by the door to the wardrobe room, as well as Donald and Goofy in their garb from when they'd travelled with Sora, watching him with worry and apprehension. There was Lea, dressed now in clothes reminiscent of those he'd apparently worn when he'd lived in Radiant Garden before the Heartless had consumed it in darkness, absentmindedly twirling his Keyblade, Eternal Flame (Unofficial name, to my knowledge), as he, too looked over the occupants of the room whilst leaning beside the bookshelf by the door into the study. And there was Riku, seated across from the aged master of magic and watching the king pace with a look of patience he had to admit he was relieved and proud to see.


Of course, he didn't have to glance behind his chair to see the last occupant of the room.


Kairi had refused to leave the window since the end of her most recent lesson in handling the Keyblade's powers. She was progressing well in combat, and she seemed to excel in the usage of magic - particularly healing spells. But he knew that her current worries, etched clearly across her face, weren't in regards to her progress. They were in regards to the person she'd been most eager to see again after arriving, the person who hadn't come back yet from his personal venture into the Sleeping Worlds.


Sora was unusually late in returning, that was definitely certain.


Sighing, Yen Sid gently rubbed at the bridge of his nose, shutting his eyes again as he listened to the soft sounds of rustling fabric and strained, quiet grunting just outside his study's door.


Why must those two lower themselves to spying like this? Do the Evil Fairy and her servant not realize the folly in eavesdropping on such a gathering as this? I must work more vigorously to improve the tower's defenses against such intrusions from now on.

Hitomi had little to no idea where she was. She knew she was having a dream as she normally did, an prophetic dream to look at stuff that either happened or did happen. As she glanced at the darkness around her, she essentially felt uneasy around this darkness. As she glanced upwards, an Entity appeared, but only the eyes were seeable . She did not know what it was, and just BARELY managed to block an attack from the entity. Due to being mute, all she did was seemingly gasp at the situation in front of her, unknowing how to proceed at this point. An voice called out to her, from within , and said: " Call Upon the light from within your hear to defeat this adversary ! " . She did not understand what it meant by that , but all of an sudden an radiant light appeared in her hands, taking on an key-like shape. As the key morphed into her keyblade, she had no idea how it came to him. Perhaps she was possibly chosen ? She had no idea to explain the sudden phenomenon, but as she held the powerful weapon in her hands, she charged at the Dark Entity, knowing fighting is the only way to get rid of this thing.


She swung the blade in a wide arc, but it actually landed, sending the beast flying to the other side of the wall. She followed her instincts, guided by her Inner Self, slowly but surely fending off and defeating the unknown entity. She then kept on doing what she was doing, until the entity had little to no health. As it was finally defeated , the girl woke up in a strange world, the same world Yen Seid was in. She wondered where exactly she was. Meanwhile, Hitomi was being waatched by an entity known as Maleficient, wondering if this girl would become the next Riku

Sensing a new presence near the tower, Yen Sid opened his eyes, preparing to ask Lea to investigate... Until he saw a light glowing by the window. Smiling, he watched, along with all those gathered, as the light spread out and coalesced together into a standing figure - one all of them knew very well. Standing up, Riku smiled, glancing at Kairi before resting his gaze on his longest-standing and more assured best friend. Yen Sid himself stood up from his chair and turned to the young teenage figure, gesturing to the gathered ensemble of people as he said, "It's good to see you back safe and sound...


"Sora."


Opening his eyes, Sora glanced down at his right hand and the Keyblade gripped in it - a new variation of his old one - before gazing at the gathering of his friends and smiling warmly, saying, "Good to be back, Master Yen Sid."

Lea smirked and grabbed Sora in a head lock, "Eyyyy 'Spikey' how ya been!? Ol' Silver here has been crying the entire time you've been gone!" He smirked at Riku teasingly.


=Meanwhile, at Radiant Garden=


"HIYAAH!" The black haired boy shouted as he sliced a Neoshadow in half with an upward slash....only for more to sprout up and surround him. "Heh, ya really think that'll work?!" He growled before unleashing a Thundaga that wiped them all out. Panting and sweat rolling down his forehead as his keyblade vanished and he strolled down the street, helping a small child whom had been about to be attacked by the monsters to his feet. "You ok, kiddo?"


"Y-yeah...um...are you a superhero?" The little boy asked.


The boy chuckled, "Maybe." He pulled out a chocolate bar and handed it to the kid, "Whoaaaa! Jumbo size! Thanks mister!" The boy giggled and ran off down the street.

Grunting but developing a wide grin, Sora struggled against Lea's grip, saying, "Yeah, right! I'll bet it was you crying and Riku was the one tryin' to get you to calm down and trust I'd be back, right?"


Smirking, Riku shrugged and said, "He just wouldn't stop. Good to see you back, Sora."


Chuckling, Donald looked at Lea with a smug grin and said, "You know, you're probably even less likely to be a real Keyblade Master than I thought Sora was."


Goofy, laughing so hard he was doubled over, struggled to speak as he said, "A-yuck! You oughta see your face, Lea!"


Mickey, chuckling as well, simply smiled at the scene, happy to see Sora back.


Kairi, on the other hand, was smiling as well, but had a bit of tears in her eyes - tears of relief that spilled out as she gently hugged Sora and whispered to him, "I'm glad you're back..."


Yen Sid, seeing the young lady Keybearer's tears, smiled warmly at the group of friends and said, "It does the heart good to see you, Sora, no matter what the situation. Despite Lea's words, I can assure you he - just as Kairi - was right on this much: we were all starting to worry about you. We all felt it was long past time when you should have been back from the realms of dreams."

Hitomi just glanced at the situation in front of her, looking quite awkward at the situation in front of her, and literally fell when an person materialized out of nowhere. As she saw the male with spiky brown hair, some sort of vision flashed in her mind, and left without no signs. It felt like the memories of someone else, but at the same time, it had to be someone fairly close to Sora. She walked over to the others, still not uttering one words, as she was mute. And even if she could speak from her mouth, she would be too timid to do so. After seeing the blade in the boy's hands, she realized that the dreams he had concerning hers was definitely not a dream. She held her hand out, and as if it had a mind of it's own, the key from before suddenly appeared in her hands. She was pondering about it's very existence . She suddenly became very sad, as she killed that creature from before, even though it was after her. As she became sad, Hitomi subconsciously caused it to rain around the world that Yen Seid and the others were around, her keyblade disappearing, tears of sadness because of the fall of that creature, but to others it would seem random and awkward.

Hitomi is still very much sane, but shocked at what she just witnessed as this vision.

Other Information

Her heart has the ability to"Connect" with others so to speak, very much like Sora's. Her heart also gets stronger and stronger each passing minute, at an exponential rate. It explains how her heart, despite entering the Realm of Darkness, did not deter and essentially endured it, even though she was there for essentially 5 hours. Her heart is exceptionally strong due to her Inner World inhabiting it, so yeah.

Looking to the door of his study, Yen Sid smiled upon seeing the girl and, upon seeing the group of friends handling each other well enough without him now, he stepped slowly over to her and leaned down slightly to meet her eye level, whispering, "Young lady, welcome to the Sorceror's Loft, my home. While I know not yet how you came to be here, I am extremely delighted to meet you. I can both see and sense you have some inner turmoil brewing, though for what reason I do not know. However, know this: you are welcome here."

Lea's eye twitched when Riku said that, "H-hey! I did not! ....Well...not for very long anyway!" He said sheepishly, releasing Sora from the friendly headlock as he noticed the girl Yen Sid was talking to. "Wow, I didn't even hear her come in! She must be really stealthy!" Lea said, pointing to the newcomer.

Returning a gentle hug to Kairi, Sora looked over at the new girl and smiled, saying, "Hello! Who are you?"


Riku, looking the girl over, raised an eyebrow as he examined her, asking, "Where'd you come from?"


Mickey, Donald and Goofy, each with puzzled looks, glanced at each other before looking at the girl in wonder.

Hitomi looked in wonder and fear at the aged man that spoke and attempted to comfort her. She seemed to calm down considerably, her powers relaxing now that some of the turmoil from within lessened, and it caused the rain around her to stop , and the sun moved to it's current position. She nodded to the wizard known as Yen Seid, seeing as how he was an person she can trust wholeheartedly. She seemed to shy away slightly as she was pointed to by Lea, but then shied away even further when asked ' Who she was ' and ' How did she get here ? ' . It was not an easy away explaining she was mute, but did not say a word to them in response, just looked like she was fearful. A s all of their attention was gained on her, she sat there & wept, the rain returning once again, giving her inner turmoil new fuel to blaze again. As the rain ran on her cheeks, her eyes were still not visible, as the rain was twice as heavy as before.

As the others looked on in surprise, Kairi slowly stepped forward and leaned over, holding her hand out to the girl as she said, "Hey... It's alright. We didn't mean to overwhelm you. We just... don't usually see a lot of new faces around here. It's okay." She gently smiled and rested her hand on the girl's shoulder, saying, "I'm Kairi."

Hitomi looked at the female in front of her, coaxing that everything was alright. She seemed very nice, and as she walked towards her, she could see her very Heart. Yes, i am not kidding. Subconsciously, Hitomi can literally see Kairi's very heart, and tell she was not like the other Keyblade Wielders. From her pocket located on her skirt, she took out a pen and notepad. She wrote this on it, and showed it to Kairi: " I'm sorry, I am mute. Meaning, i unfortunately can not speak. Umm...I'm..Hitomi . Nice to meet you. Umm..by the way, theres an girl with yellow hair and white clothes beside you...Is she...suppose to be there ? " She said, smiling for the first time, the rain stopped. But, at the same she was worried if she was hallucinating or anything.

Startled, Kairi stared at the girl for a moment, then she smiled as a small tear of joy slipped from her eye, whispering softly, "N... Naminé..."


Unseen by the Keybearer girl, Naminé smiled, saying to Hitomi, in case she can be heard as well as seen, "Thank you."


Wiping away her tear, Kairi smiled warmly and held out a hand to help the girl up. "It's nice to meet you, Hitomi."

Hitomi looked at Kairi's Nobody, smiling a little bit. She mouthed: " Your Welcome....Namine. " back to the young girl, as she then turned her attention back into Kairi once again. She smiled at her, nodding once again, placing the notebook back in her pocket. She saw Roxas beside Sora as well, but to be quite honest she just nodded to the dual-wielding nobody, not needing to say hello. As she thought of something to ask the wizard, she suddenly summoned the very same weapon she used to defeated the Hunter of the Dark, her Keyblade. She then looked to them and using the notebook she had once again, she wrote: " What is this ? " and placed the Keyblade on the ground.


Maleficient was surprised to see that the Keyblade chose someone like this. But, at the same time, she could sense an abnormality and certain power in her heart, with power and radiance unlike any Keyblade Wielder or Master she has EVER come across . Noticing how she was obviously noticed by Yen Seid, the young woman essentially smiled at Hitomi. " You will definitely be more than enough to do away with my plans. But, you can also be my biggest threat. " She thought, wondering what type of precautions she would have to take in order to make her submit to her own side. Despite seemingly only Yen Seid noticing the dark witch, Hitomi suddenly turned around and met eye to eye with the witch. Maleficent was shocked most definitely, and quickly retreated within a Dark Hole before anyone could do anything about it. But before she did, she said: " I , Maleficent , will use her Inner Power to gain the Ultimate Darkness ! " and disappeared for now. When she escaped, Hitomi wrote on her notebook : " She reeks of Darkness. It's...such a horrible scent. " She wrote on her notebook, wiping her nose off using a tissue which was also in her pocket.

Sora, noticing how Hitomi's gaze lingered near him and how she seemed to have nodded to nothing, glanced to his side in curiosity, wondering what she could see that he couldn't.


Kairi, concerned, managed to see the girl's words in the notebook and quirked a brow, wondering who she had seen. She shook her head, deciding to ask later, and smiled, saying, "Hitomi, that weapon is called a Keyblade."


----Meanwhile, in Hollow Bastion...----


Startled at the sudden thudding of the door as it was smashed open, Cid jumped at his desk and turned, glaring at the door as he shouted, "What the heck are ya tryin' to do?!"


Merlin, also in the building as he often helped the Committee with its work, grumbled under his breath as he too turned to the door from a table where he'd lain out items to help him enact a particularly complicated spell and shouted, "What's all the racket!?"

Okay, guys, one thing real quick - from now on, I would like to do this in a cycling manner. Basically, we go around in a circle in terms of who replies and when. For the time being, it'll work like this: Zach, Hitomi, Seraph, repeat. Can you guys work with that? It just helps me to process things and develop posts and plots easier that way, cause that way I'm not dividing my attention between keeping up with my own posts and recognizing what you guys are having happening between just your characters. Basically it's to make it easier for me to build this thing up more as we go.

Hitomi was the only person other than Yen Seid to notice Maleficient's presence. She did not seem happy with the spectacle around her. The notebook was in her hands, and she wrote several things on it, to try to explain things and explain what she saw . " Umm..Sora...who I saw...was Roxas. Just like worlds are sleeping & hurting , people are sleeping, and people are hurting somewhere. " She said, pointing beside him once again. Now, notice how no one known told her anything about Roxas or how him and Sora met. The portal that Maleficient left suddenly appeared, it was just like the one that sent her here. She knew what she must do. In order to prove and save one of the hurting souls she found in the Realm of Darkness, she wrote one last thing before leaving on this perilous journey. " I need to save Aqua . " . She wrote it, and walked into the portal, disappearing from view, leaving her journal in the process .

Clearing his throat, Yen Sid waved his hands, drawing everyone's attention as he said, "Hitomi, your abilities from what I've already observed appear to be quite impressive. You seem to have the ability to sense the hearts connected to those present which have lost their own physical bodies. This may prove a useful power, as will your ability to sense presences of light and darkness." Frowning, he slowly walked to his chair and sat down, saying, "However, Lea has made a request of me which I intend to grant. As such, I must ask that you all be seated, for though many of you know what I have to impart upon our guest, it is essential that your understanding of the matters be as complete as possible."


With a wave of his hand, the aged sorceror conjured a series of chairs from thin air, all arranged in a semicircle across from him in front of his desk. Mickey and Riku immediately nodded and sat down, Donald and Goofy following suit as Sora and Kairi glanced at each other before sitting. Smiling, Kairi gestured to a seat beside her, between herself and Riku, as she said, "Best to be comfortable, Hitomi. Master Yen Sid - just based on what little time I've spent here - never calls out chairs unless he knows that he'll take a while to say all he needs to." Realizing the next moment what she had said, she bowed her head to her teacher and whispered, "Sorry..."


In the background, unseen by any save Hitomi, Roxas and Naminé both chuckled, shaking their heads ruefully as Yen Sid, a gentle smile forming on his face, nodded and made a placating gesture with his hands towards the girl, easing her concerns.

Groaning, Cid shook his head and said, "None that I've seen. So far as I've heard, she's not at the dark castle - not that that's too comfortin'."


Merlin, stroking his beard, joined the two and looked at Xavier with lidded eyes as he said, "Quite right, that one. Maleficent is one of the most dangerous villains in all of the worlds. So long as she is at large we cannot rest." Frowning, he suddenly furrowed his brow in annoyance and anger as he added, "And, for the record, WOULD YOU STOP BASHING OPEN DOORS WHILE I'M WORKING?! You almost caused me to incorrectly cast a spell which, if utilized wrong, could have leveled this entire blasted building!

Lea sat cross legged in his chair next to Riku, "I hope this don't take too long!" He said with an eye-roll.


=Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion=


Xavier jumped at Merlin's outburst before smiling and rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, "Yeah..I'll try to remember that!" Then with a more serious face he said: "Where's Yuffie and Leon?"


Meanwhile, stumbling out of a dark corridor was Pete, who looked around and started shouting: "Maleficent! Where are ya Maleficent!?"

Hitomi nodded to her, understanding that she will be informed. WIll this perhaps give her the necessary information to be well-adjusted to this world ? Only one way to find out. She sat next to Kairi, very much wanting to hear what was eventually comming.


Meanwhile, Maleficent just appeared from a dark corridor herself, quickly assessing the newfound information she has just obtained. Seeing hitomi and her 'Inner World' made her thing of new possibilities. Her thinking was stopped when Pete kept on calling her name. Appearing beside him, she essentially said: " Here I am. " .

Once the gathering of Keybearers and friends was assembled, Yen Sid glanced with a frown at Le and said, "That will be enough of that."


Then he leaned back in his chair and began to speak in earnest. "The weapon you carry with you now, Hitomi - the very same class of weapon wielded by those around you - Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, and Lea - are enchanted swords of ancient origin identified by their key-like shapes and various artistic designs. They are weapons capable of unlocking the powers of the hearts of people, whether they be of light or darkness, which were forged by warriors of old aligned to such forces. Based upon an ancient and powerful weapon whose power was unfathomable and whose purpose was to safeguard an even more immense power, these weapons hold the ability to unlock any door, magical or otherwise, and can open pathways between the worlds of the Realms of Light and Darkness. They are called Keyblades, and their history is long and storied - told in a tale that, I have been informed, was Kairi's childhood favorite."


As Kairi smiled and closed her eyes to imagine the events described, Yen Sid continued, "When existence began, all people lived in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the Light, believing it to be a gift from an unseen realm - a realm of such power and beauty as could never be truly comprehended in the day: Kingdom Hearts. Whether it was truly a realm, or simply some sort of embodiment of the power of a supreme being, is and was even then completely unknown to mortal beings - and even to many who were immortal. But all loved and treasured the gift of light it granted, just the same.


"Kingdom Hearts, this 'heart of all worlds' as it was deemed, was safeguarded by a relic known as the X-blade. Written with an X, this tool's name comes from the word 'chi', or 'kye'. The meaning, some say, is that of devestation. Regardless of this, the X-blade was known to be the only object which could truly connect one to Kingdom Hearts, and then only if they were able to control it. For this reason, I am sad to say, many people began to covet the light of Kingdom Hearts - covet it so that they might keep it for their own solely, and control its vast powers. Others, thankfully chose to oppose this mission. These were the people who forged artificial 'Keyblades' - attempts to replicate the true X-blade's powers - and, after choosing to side with either light or darkness, clashed in the legendary Keyblade War."


Sighing, Yen Sid shook his head wearily. "No one knows what events unfolded for certain during that age. All that we know is that the true X-blade was shattered and lost in twenty pieces - thirteen of darkness, and seven of light - and the one true Kingdom Hearts, whether realm or something more, was lost in the darkness. The only reason the world survived was because of the pure, innocent light in the hearts of children. That light saved the fragmented world, creating from the broken fragments a new world composed of many smaller ones, all scattered and seperate. Among the survivors who built these worlds into proper homes, these were some who found themselves able to wield Keyblades, and it was these few who became the first generation of Keyblade Masters - the most powerful wielders of the Keyblade who had come to understand the power of the weapon and the value in utilizing it to protect the Realms of Light we know today as our homes."


Clasping his hands in his lap, Yen Sid closed his eyes and said, "That is the origin of the Keyblade, young Hitomi - the origin, and the purpose. Hitomi just nodded throughout the whole explanation stage, quickly analyzing, deciphering, and breaking down each and every thing that came out of the wise wizard's mouth. " It reminds me of my Inner Self.." She put on the piece of paper, still very much in thought about what she just heard . That light in the Realm of Darkness she saw - Was that Kingdom Hearts ? She could not say for certain, but the remembrance of the warmth it gave as she journeyed deeper and deeper before she met the Hunter of the Dark. It connected with her, she felt it, but had no idea whether or not it was an hallucination. She obviously felt it's presence, it's power, but did not know what it was truly capable of. As an deep pain was in her heart, she knew what was going on. Her Inner Self was awakening now . As soona s that was mentioned, An entity appeared beside Hitomi, tired of being kept in the darkness for so long, being suppressed.. It's spirit could be seen by all that could by all who had superhuman abilities, which is everyone in this room. Hitomi's Inner Self projected a asral self from Hitomi's Inner Dimension. When she spoke, it was like two people were talking: one man and one woman. The woman appeared to be cloaked in an dark cloak. Her long, silver hair was easily shown.As it spoke, it seemed as if the whole room shook as well : "It's not an hallucination, Hitomi. What you felt was real. You reached out to Kingdom Hearts, and in turn, it also reached out to you, due to your special 'Heart' . Maleficent felt that , and was scared of what you could do . Your Inner Strength, the Outside energy from your own personal dimension, outside these collections of worlds, you reached out to it once again. It is still helping you... If you call out to it, ANY wish you want will be fufilled. I am your power... I am the part of you that you want to denounce but can't. The part of you that keeps on telling yout to submit to your powers. I am...Mahanagapati...The God from Within..." Said a voice that seemed as if both an man and female were talking simultaneously, within her mind. Lea sighed as he looked out the window after Yen Sid's story and scolding.


Suddenly he smiled, "Think we should go and introduce her to the Restoration Committee? Get her certified to be an honorary member and stuff?"


Like he imagined the others were, he was quite startled and freaked out by the sudden appearance of the strange being. He fell out of his chair onto Riku and incidentally they both ended up falling backwards on top of each other. Looking at Riku who was very close to his face now: "Uhh...buy me dinner first, Silver..."

"Oh....I guess I'll go help 'em out!" Xavier said as he walked out the door with purpose. As he was jogging toward the Marketplace to assist Leon and Yuffie..he paused as he heard voices...and sensed a dark presence...a familiar one.


Dashing into an alleyway, he heard the voices and felt the dark presence slink closer.


"So uh..Maleficent, when are we gonna start taking this place over again?" Pete asked.


Xavier's fingers dug into the brick wall to his back, cracking it.

Yen Sid, startled by the newcomer, stood up at once along with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Sora and Kairi, as Riku grunted and shoved Lea off of him. The silver-haired youth and his brunette friend both nodded to each other and summoned their Keyblades, Sora looking at the silver-haired woman and asking, "Who the heck are you? What do you want?"
