Summary :

After the tenth generation passed and Tsuna's oldest son passed the title to his little brother, things were going well. However, a revolt was started by an infiltrating enemy family. It was the enemy famiglia and the members of Vongola who liked their bloody ways, against the members who wanted change. The revolt eventually ended in favour of the members who wanted peace. However, Vongola was left crippled. The twelfth generation was led by Tsuna's adopted grandson after the former twelfth died from disease and things got better, but they were nowhere near their former power. The enemy famiglias is still out there and their power grows by the day. Their identity is still unknown. Their hopes were gone when their heir dissappeared and the only successor left was from a different bloodline, but still related to Primo's. This successor was similar to how Xanxus was in the past and nobody wanted to relive that. When it was discovered that Sawada Katamori was alive, the Twelfth sent members to search for him.

Italy, a country known for many things. Fine foods that are on another level than what most people eat these days, something that it takes pride in. It's known for its music that's filled with their culture and many fill opera houses just to catch a glimpse of the outstanding performers. Architecture that's been adored for years, such as the Roman Coliseum, are a must see.

However, while these things catch the public eye, the great country is known for something else. This is kept from the masses and known only to those involved in this underworld of theirs. Yes, Italy is the home of the dark society, The Mafia.

Bloody conflicts have raged and times of peace have gone by. Despite its long history, The Mafia contains a family that all who join this society know of. The most powerful and largest Famiglia in Mafia history, The Vongola.

The Vongola have perhaps the bloodiest history of all, after being around for over six hundred years. Their power grew throughout history as they grew more ruthless and they became unstoppable. Although their ruthless ways gave them power, their most powerful leader was undoubtably the one who wanted peace in the Mafia.

Call him what you wish, The Saint of The Sky, The Massiah of The Mafia Law, Vongola Decimo, Neo Vongola Primo, the list goes on. Sawada Tsunayoshi was the greatest leader The Mafia world had ever seen.

Years passed and the tenth generation of Vongola came to a close, their legends still passed down today. A new era had been ushered in, but unfortunately, it did not last. The eleventh generation was the turning point that brought Vongola to its knees.

After Sawada Tsunayoshi's oldest child forewent the Mafia life and traveled to his father's hometown in Namimori, Japan, passing the position of Vongola Undicesimo to his younger brother, things took a turn for the worse. After years of the youngest doing well as boss, all hell broke loose when Sawada Tsunayoshi died of old age, along with his Guardians.

With the infamous Decimo no longer around to stop them, a rival Famiglia snuck into the Vongola ranks and began a revolt along with the older Vongola members, who preferred their old ways of bloodshed an violence. Needless to say, the results were disastrous. The Vongola members who wanted peace won the conflict, but they had been severely weakened.

The Vongola had somewhat brought themselves back up after Vongola Dodicesima, the Eleventh's adopted son, temporarily took over for the previous Dodicesima after he died of disease, but they were nowhere near full power. With their enemy growing stronger by the day, their identity still unclear, and their candidate limited to a less than appealing boy from a separate branch of the Primo bloodline, all was lost.

However, after the Vindice had tipped the Vongola off about their kidnapped heir's survival, hope was renewed. And so, Vongola Dodicesima sent out all available members and the alliance to search for the candidate. The search for the lost heir begins now.
As a wind blew through the trees of Destella Middle School, all seemed peaceful. The birds sang their songs and there wasn't a sound to be heard. The current atmosphere could be considered the perfect place for a student to learn.

"Hurry the hell up and pay, Triste!" The angry male voice rang throughout the back of the school, causing the birds to flee their nests. The angry shout was followed by the sound of skin hitting skin. It was a surprise nobody came out to stop it.

The victim of said beating was unable to do anything, as the older male continued to kick and punch his already bruised skin. Who was this unfortunate boy you ask? None other than Sawada Katamori or Katamori Sawada, depending on where you are from.

Yes, the boy being beaten to a pulp was the candidate for the next Vongola boss, Vongola Tredicesimo. Many wouldn't have expected this bloodied and battered boy to be something like a potential mafia boss. He looked nothing like a bonafide Mafioso.

"You're really pissing me off, Triste! Pay up!" Yes, that's what he called himself. Having a Japanese name wouldn't be very good, since his original name would attract to much attention and the Mafia would probably look for him. After he escaped his tank-like prison, he became Triste Grigio.

After being pushed to the ground, Katamori's silver-white hair covered his eyes. The older male now stood over him, throwing the empty wallet to the floor, obviously angry for not acquiring his payoff for bullying. He did this everyday, as if Katamori owed it to him.

"This broke bastard doesn't have a single cent!" Yeah, he was broke. He wasn't old enough to get a job and he didn't have any talents to earn money. He could barely feed himself with the scraps he got when restaurants put out food their richer clients complained about. Of course they knew about this and they took no pity on him, making sure to not leave anything even remotely edible. His daily meal comprised of crumbs and water from public fountains.

The kicking soon began again and he was kept on the ground. He didn't make the slightest change in facial expression or even cry out in pain. "This guy's no fun."

One of the older male's companions soon chimed in, a smirk on his rat-like face. "You're wasting your time, Rocco. He'll just take it and not do anything. As expected of Depriste."

Yeah, that was his school-wide nickname here. Even the teachers referred to him as that, his real name barely even known anymore. He got the name from his depressing nature. He never changed facial expression and his tone never changed, always sticking to the background and never speaking up. His classmates ultimately brought together the words 'depressing' and his alias 'Triste' and made 'Depriste.' It was by no means his fault for being this way. After all, being imprisoned and tortured for most of your life was bound to change you. He was used to all the pain and suffering, so he didn't even cry about things like this anymore. Besides, a reaction only encouraged them.

With a final kick, the group left him there, covered in bruises and bloody wounds, new and old. He laid there for a few more moments, before the school bell rang, releasing for the end of the day. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and stood with a wobble. He would get thrown out like last time if he stayed for too long.

After limping around the small Italian town, Katamori eventually came to his only refuge left in the world. The small park was still open after night, so this is where he spent all his time after school. He didn't have a house, so he would sleep on the park bench every night since he escaped his prison.

He sat down on the bench and removed a small medical kit from his pocket. The nurse was fed up with constantly having to patch him up, so she literally tossed the kit at him and told him to do it himself. He didn't have a problem with it, but he was running low on supplies and the nurse said he would be charged if he asked for more.

After bandaging his wounds, Katamori laid his sore back on the cheap, splintery wood. He had gotten pretty good at fixing himself up, but the supplies weren't that great. They were always dirty and roughed up due to altercations similar to today's. He didn't have enough to fix his larger injuries either, so he just settled with hiding them under his clothing. Sure it hurt, but he had suffered a lot worse before. They might as well have been hitting him with pillows, compared to what his captors did to him.

The wind blew through his mass of silver-white hair, as he closed his eyes. He missed it when it was brown, but there really wasn't anything he could do to change it back. It was a result of an experiment during his imprisonment and it had been with him since his escape. It didn't really bother him, but he did prefer his natural brown.

His sore muscles began to slightly relax as he quickly fell into darkness. After today, a rest wouldn't be so bad. Maybe he could actually get some sleep tonight.

The sound of loud chatter began to create noise within the walls of this school, this puny insignificant school. Well, that was what the person causing it thought anyway. After all, she was home schooled and so she found this public domain useless and soul crushing. They were all foolish an naive to reality. Yet, she knew and it hurt. The cause scanned over the crowd of people, eyes narrowed and aura practically radiating the intent to smash them all into the ground for their crowding. She didn't hate it, they just looked weak. She hated weak.

Yes, this was Letizia Carlevaro, A candidate for the Storm guardian of the 13th generation of Vongola, a character that has a very...strict personality. She stood upon a small stage like structure, glaring down at the plain students who loitered, chatting about her. 'Idiots...' She whispered before she sighed, inhaling.

"LISTEN UP!" She shouted, gaining their attention quickly as they all glanced over at her. "I want the one named Katamori Sawada..." She paused, watching as they all muttered, even louder this times. "NOW!" She shouted, watching as they all began to panic. Well, it was a good thing they were considering that she had just previously smashed some of the 'bullies' into the ground in anger.

She looked around with a huff, her eyes scanning for the one that her boss had sent her to find. Blue eyes were struggling as she tried to catch a sight of the one from the image. With a sigh she scowled, reaching up to press her fingers against the head piece placed in her ear. "Guys...I'm at that useless school, trying to find the target. Check the surrounding area shops and outside the school premises." She stated before turning back to the students. She had to keep in contact with the other guardians after all.

Seeing them all panic the girl got irritated again. "Ah...I forgot to mention something..." She gave them all a smile, a soft smile. It suited her, but it was constantly crashing against the aura that soaked the air around her. "If I found out you've hidden him, hurt him or anything like that, I will kill you in the name of Vongola...Got it?" She grinned, watching a few of them sweat. "Idiots..." She mumbled.

She knew that the other candidates for guardians would probably disagree with her idea to...well threaten innocent people but she honestly found it most effective as they all were looking for the target. They had been searching for ages for the kid after all. Hopping off the stage she brushed the brown locks from her face, a frown on her lips. She almost looked worried. Her boss....or her future boss could not be here. Of course, she had Intel that he was but it was the 'bullying' and the 'beatings' he received.

Of course, she considered that weak but the current boss wanted him as a candidate and so she would not disobey. She did not tolerate people disobeying the rules under any circumstance. She really didn't want to return to the current boss and say the mission she was in charge of was a failure, no she would rather never return if she failed!

Frankie Cozato sighed as he surveyed his surroundings, hearing Letizia's message chime in his ear only made his search that much more frustrating. He reached up towards his own ear, pressing the active signal button in order to relay his words back to the others. "Right Letiza-Chan!" he chimed affectionately, unable to keep himself from flirting with the young storm guardian prospect. It was clear now that he was getting carried away in practicing his Japanese, often times using the wrong honorifics in briefings over the past month. Although this time he managed to get it right.

He smiled widely, as he paraded around the school pool in nothing more than a swimsuit. "He's not at the pool!" he chimed into the radio transceiver in his ear. He was obviously slacking once again, though he himself wasn't aware of it, his mind too busy ogling the beautiful girls that were busy swimming laps or else lounging pool side. The young heir to the Shimon family approached one of the swimmers, a slight blush on his face as he pulled a flyer from the waist band of his swimwear. The flyer itself seemed simple enough, one of the last pictures the Vongola had for Katamori was blown out and expanded to reach the borders of the page, while a hastily written message was written across the page. The message read, "Missing brother, big reward" in very large and unfortunately sloppy text.

"Hey sweetie, you haven't seen my little bro have you?" he asked as he approached the beautiful young girl. The girl's eye twitched as a slight blush appeared upon her face. She wore a school swimsuit and a cap over her hair, though her bangs leaked out from the cap. A scowl suddenly appeared on the girl's sun-kissed face as she brought a towel up to her face to wipe the water and sweat from her brow. "It's the Girl's swim team practice, boys aren't allowed in here you know" she said in a loud and unfriendly manner.

Frankie winced a bit, "Oh c'mon...my little bro is out there all alone right now" he pleaded with the girl, his eyes still darting from one girl to the next as he tried to soak in this magnificent moment. The girl sighed before snatching the flyer from him, "This can't be, it looks kinda like Depriste" the girl said in a hushed tone, her eyes leaving the parchment to meet Frankie's gaze. Only as she looked up to see Franky she was shocked to see he had disappeared, she began to frantically look around, trying to spot the man, unable to hide her uneasy feelings on his disappearance.

Suddenly a loud shout could be heard from the high dive, "Belle Signore'!" He shouted in Italian as he addressed the pool filled with beautiful young girls. "Bear witness to my devotion, strength, and manly charm!" he shouted, as he struck a pose from the top of the diving board. Suddenly and without warning he jumped high into the air, "Ultimo Tuffo Tempesta!!" he shouted as he flipped over and over again, somehow managing to also twist and spin as he fell.

The girl looked shocked, her demeanor constantly switching between frantic panic and disgust, if her coach caught them near this man they'd all be scolded surely.

Meanwhile Franky fell towards the water in a magnificent fashioned, his body now spinning at a rate that might cause some to black out. Though as he approached the water he made no effort to uncurl his body.

"No he doesn't mean to" the girl exclaimed before Franky made a declaration, a mere second from the water. " Maximum Cannonball!" he shouted as his body plunged into the pool and created a large wave.

The resulting wave caused many of the girls to be swept up in it, and wind up near the other side of the pool or else out of the pool all together.

Franky surfaced just in time to see the aftermath, "Oh too much?" he asked, a nervous laugh escaping his lips right as the girl from before jumped in the pool and began to drag Franky out by the ear.

"I thought I told you before, this is Ladies Swim!" she shouted before kicking him out of the school pool and towards the street. "And if your brother is anything like you I hope you never find him!" she shouted angrily, as she slammed the door closed behind her. Franky laughed, "Well at least I made an impression" he said proudly before picking himself up and walking towards town. He picked the flyer up on his way as he whistled a tune, a smile on hs face as he dried in the hot sun and cool breezes of Italy. He put his hand up to his ear and pressed the active signal button once more, "Well he's not at the pool" he said with a nod as he walked toward the town, following the same path the students took home.

Claudio was walking down the streets of the little italian town taking in the sights the sounds and the smells. Growing up as a city boy,Claudio never got to experience the country side life. He was about to walk into the store when the storm guardian candidate came ringing through his ear piece "Okay Letizia,I'm in town searching all of the different shops"Claudio hung up the headset and began walking down the sidewalks again

"Hey,You there come back here" A gruffy voice coming from a middle aged man yelled out.

A little girl was speeding away from the mans shop with a loaf of bread and cheese. The girls clothes were tattered and worn out the whole scene looked like something straight out of a movie.

Hearing all of the commotion Claudio sighed,He was already looking for the Sky candidate which was a lot of work itself and his laziness was kicking in,but he knew that if he helped the clerk that he could squeeze some information out of him. Claudio took off after the girl catching up with her within seconds "Bambina,What are you doing why did you steal that?"

The little girl looked up at Claudio tears in her eyes "I'm poor and I was hungry,so I stole it.Please don't take me to jail " Claudio smiled at the girl "So you were hungry and wanted food? Not a problem I'll pay for it run along bambina" Claudio smiled as the girl smiled brightly and happily scurried off to wherever it was that the poor girl lived.

"Why did you let her get away you jerk" The middle aged man yelled back

Claudio turned walking over to the man and handing him a 100$ bill "Keep the change,Now in exchange for your very large tip I'd like some information." Claudio reached into his pocket pulling out the blown up picture of Katamori "Do you know this boy?" He asked rather sweetly

"Hey, that's depriste the man said laughing "He goes to school with my son,Although the last time I saw him he had silver hair not brown" the man scratched at his beard "Actually come to think of it I have no idea who his parents are and this is a pretty small town everybody knows everybody so I'm afraid I can't tell ya where he resides"

Claudio took into consideration everything that the shop keep just said already calculating the possibilities "I see thank-you sir you have a great day" Claudio said waving and walking off immediately putting his hand up to the ear piece speaking into "Attention all guardians,After speaking with a townie I have deduced that Tredicesimo is now homeless. So check all local areas and shelters also his hair is now Silver and no longer brown." Claudio ended the transmission "Welp,I've done my part for the day" Claudio stretched his arms out walking into a bakery and ordering a bunch of sweets "Yum I'm one step closer to that mist guardian position

(I hope this is long enough lol)

Ruri has always loved the sights of Italy. As she roamed around the streets, looking for anything that could lead her to the next Vongola Boss, she couldn't help but feel like she was also taking a walk down the ever-so distant memory lane. Before all the chaos of the Mafia was completely revealed to Ruri's innocent eyes, she recalled these beautiful qualities. The smell of the air, how the weather was - Italy's unique qualities that Ruri has always noticed. She was currently searching in a small town, so wasn't as extravagant as somewhere like Venice or Florence, but it was still captivating, nonetheless. Ruri could feel a soft smile creeping across her pale pink lips as she took it all in, and her deep blue eyes shimmered in the late afternoon light with delight. Her eyes seemed to also have a yellow tinted shine within them - not reflecting the sun's rays, but just having natural, golden shimmers and hues. This is what led her parents, The Rain and Sun Guardians of the 12th Vongola Generation, to name her Ruri. It means "Lapis Lazuli" - which is a rare stone that's blue and yellow, just like her eyes. Ruri figured they named her this because she holds both Sun and Rain qualities, just like the blue and yellow hues of the stone. It's quite a wonderful name, Ruri Wakahisa. Lapis Lazuli - Forever Young. It gives off quite an elegant, everlasting theme.

Still, Ruri's name definition was the last thing on her mind at the moment. She knew that she had to find the next Vongola Boss - although, she felt she had to do this for many reasons. She wasn't doing this just because she was ordered to, despite common belief. Ruri felt like she had to help this boy. She's heard the stories of how he was kidnapped and held captive for all those years. She couldn't imagine the pain he went through, or could still be going through. It must have been traumatizing, and Ruri's always had this extremely high sense of empathy. Even though she's never truly met the boy, she could imagine how he must have been feeling. Completely defiled, lonely, lost, angry, frustrated, wondering, in pain, miserable, depressed - the list could go on. Practically any negative feeling you could think of - this boy has probably felt it all. Hell, perhaps he's chosen not to feel anymore, period. Just thinking of that made Ruri's heart ache. She found herself wishing she could just take all his pain away, and do as her duty as the future Rain Guardian - "
To become a blessed shower that settles conflict and washes everything away." Oh, how she wish she could wash this boy's pain and conflicts away. But, first, she had to find him. It was proving to be quite the trying task, but it was a difficulty that Ruri was willing to endure.

"
I wonder where he could be," Ruri wondered aloud to herself as she continued walking down the streets. Some kids were walking home from school, and they seemed to be around Ruri's age - middle school kids. "Excuse me, boys?" she spoke to them in her tiny, slightly high-pitched, and soothingly sweet voice. Taking out a picture, she showed it to them, hoping that it would ring some bells. "Do you know who this boy is? And, if so, could you tell me where I may find him?" She questioned, her voice kind and genuinely honeyed. The boys looked at one another with grins on their faces, and they seemed to be holding back laughter. "What do you want with that freak?" the boys spoke to her in semi-hostile tones. "He's not worth anyone's time. He's so damn boring to mess with," they belittled him, which was beginning to test Ruri's patience. She shut her enchanting eyes and lowered her head slightly as she took in a deep, silent breath, trying her best to remain tranquil. "I'm guessing you know him, then? Could you please tell me where I can find him?" she spoke, trying her best to remain polite and just. Still, as those boys returned those grins to their faces, Ruri could almost feel their nefarious natures. It made her feel sick.

"
She'd be a lot more fun to mess with, wouldn't she? I mean, look at her. She's like a little doe," they teased her, leaning in closely to her - too close for Ruri's comfort. She was used to people underestimating her due to her frail and fragile appearance, but in a weird sense, it was highly satisfying to know inside that she wasn't what they thought she was. She enjoyed the element of surprise, though it made her feel guilty sometimes. "Don't waste my time," Ruri warned kindly, but of course, the boys paid her no mind. They continued snickering and leaned more towards her, and one dared to actually place their hand roughly on her shoulder. "Don't worry, you'll enjoy our company highly," they spoke with pure, irritating ignorance. With a small shake of her head - which caused her beautiful, pale blonde curls to tumble all along her petite frame elegantly - she looked up to them in disapproval. "I doubt it," she reproached, though still maintained a semi-friendly tone. Afterwards, she turned away from them and began walking off before they could do anymore. She didn't want to waste any of her skills on them, unless she felt she had to. It was only when one of the boys chased after her and forcibly turned her around to face him again that she finally allowed her patience to run out.

As soon as she felt the contact of that boy's hand unto her shoulder, she swiftly and gracefully turned around, her extensive waves flowing behind her in a single, fluid movement. She kicked the boy square in the chest, causing her dark blue, ruffled dress to twist and turn around her body in a flattering fashion. It swirled around her figure, and finally twisted back into it's original form as she laid her foot back on the ground. She watched the boy sitting there on the floor, looking up at her in complete awe. He was coughing as he did so, completely taken aback by the force of her kick. Though Ruri looked like a mere weakling, she was a lot stronger than she appeared. All that training her parents put her through as a child truly did pay off. "
Don't touch me," she spoke, still maintaining her polite composure as she began walking away. She honestly despised kids like them - how could they even think of treating Ruri that way? They couldn't be a day over fifteen. They're too young to be thinking about harassing a girl like that, aren't they? Ruri couldn't help but wonder what happened to her generation... But, then again, perhaps she's not one to talk. She's apart of a Mafia, after all. Not any normal teenage girl could say something like that, nor would they truly want to.

In the beginning, Ruri truly despised the thought of being apart of the Mafia. Her parents' training was hard and difficult, and it made her mature far too fast. Sometimes, Ruri truly did want to just be a kid, but in this world... She simply wasn't allowed to. She had to deal with what she was assigned, perform her missions, support the Famiglia, and always obey whatever the boss said. Although Ruri isn't really disobedient - in fact, she's quite the opposite - she does still believe that some rules that have been put in place just aren't... Well, justified. They aren't right, they aren't fair. If breaking one of these rules one day could keep another person from suffering, Ruri would gladly bear that burden. Sure, many people of the Mafia think Ruri's views on that is foolish. Here, it's almost like a dog-eat-dog world. The bloodshed is immense, and no child should ever have to witness such carnage and chaos. But, it was Ruri's world, and she's grown accustomed to it. That's why she's looking forward, now, to becoming the Vongola Rain Guardian of the 13th Generation. If she could, in any way possible, make this world a better place and do good things for those she cares about, she would jump at the chance to do so. Ruri wanted - sometimes even
needed - to feel helpful and useful. If not, what exactly does she have left to live for? This life... It's all she's ever truly known. She just wants to make it a little more bearable for everyone else.

After a while of walking, she finally reached the main parts of the town. There were many shops, and she noticed a slight commotion going on down the street. She recognized the future Mist Guardian questioning a man for information, and using her acute hearing skills, and listened to their conversation from a distance. She didn't know the future Mist Guardian all that well, so she decided not to impose upon him. However, gathering information on the future boss' layout was a mutual goal, so she figured there would be no harm in him "sharing" this information. "
Depriste?" Ruri wondered softly to herself, and after hearing the last of the conversation, she made her way back from where she came. So, they call him Depriste... I wonder why, she thought. Is it some sort of nickname? Did he change his name to something else after escaping? ... And, what was that about white hair? Well, at least we know something about his updated appearance, she contemplated, letting a soft sigh escape her pale pink lips. I'm not starting off from scratch anymore, so that's good. If they don't know his place of residence... Perhaps he doesn't really have one, she continued to think critically, exploring any options possible. I wonder where he would go? ... I hope he's not too lonely. No one deserves to feel like that. Ruri thought to herself, continuing to walk down a path that crossed ways with a park.

It was getting a little dark, for the sun was beginning to set over the horizon. It illuminated Ruri's features in a nearly ethereal fashion, and deciding to go just for kicks, she visited the lonesome park. No children seemed to be playing here, which almost made Ruri's heart ache. "
Poor abandoned swings," Ruri couldn't help but think aloud, and she decided to sit on one. Her tiny feet tangled just above the ground, and she smiled. It wouldn't be too bad to take a break here, right? Ruri thought to herself, and decided to swing back and forth. The old chains of the swing creaked slightly as she did so, and she found the antique sound almost enchanting. Ruri appreciates the small things greatly, and some find her weird for it, but it's just who she is. She believes that you can find something beautiful in nearly anything - hence why she's come to accept her life as part of the Mafia. Everything has it's ups and downs, and she can deal with that. Just like swinging back and forth, her life was full of those wonderful heights, but those terrible lows. Nobody wants to lose their parents at a young age like hers, but no one's life is perfect. Sure, some suffer more than others, but even that person who's suffering - there's always someone who's suffered more. Ruri felt like she had no right to complain.

As she swung back and forth and the sky began to darken, Ruri's star-lit hair shimmered beautifully. It flowed back and forth as she swung, cascading all around her feminine, youthful frame. After a moment, she remembered a soothing melody her mother used to always play for her on the piano. Why it hit her in that moment, Ruri had no idea. Maybe because she felt so serene - just like the rain. Feeling like reminiscing a little, Ruri decided to hum the tune to herself in her angelic, light-as-a-feather voice. It resonated through the park elegantly and enchantingly, and Ruri could even feel herself enlightened by the little tune. She missed her mother and how she used to play it for her and her elder sister, Haruki, and it hurt to know that they could never get those times back. However, Ruri has gone through her grievance and acceptance. Now, it was nothing more but a tiny heart ache. It brought her more happiness to remember than pain now, which was all thanks to her forgiving and tranquil nature. As she hummed, she allowed the soft tune to flow through the air as light as a feather, and though she knew (or, was highly sure of) nobody was listening, she still wanted to hum and sing anyways. Between sweet little, "
La, la, la"s and "Hmm, hmm, hmm"s, she sung the little tune, allowing it to soothe her spirits as she rested up a little after a long afternoon of searching.

((This is the song Ruri is humming. c: ? Just pretend she's singing/humming the higher notes being played. ^^ That cute, soft little tune~ ? Oh! And sorry if this reply isn't top notch. I rushed it a little, and I didn't really know what to put or how to go about it. xD I'm just winging it a little bit.))

"Put him in the cell for now, until we get the machine set up." As the voice penetrated the dark and silent area, a stirring was heard in the corner. The sounds in the filthy corner was revealed to be a small boy, appearing to have just woken up. It had been hours since his initial capture and he had finally awoken.

The boy didn't look a day older than five, if not younger. He looked smaller compared to other children in his age range. His small hands rubbed his eyes, attempting to adjust to the light. He opened his lids, to reveal to beautiful sky blue orbs. His long brown hair matched the blue wonderfully, giving him an innocent appearance.

His features made him look more like a girl than a small boy. His cheeks were still chubby from the baby fat, but the rest of his body was as slim as any healthy child's. The long brown locks made him look even more feminine. He most likely took after his mother.

Quite simply, the child was adorable. The innocence of a child still evident in the deep blue. The boy was angelic, a stark contrast from the unholy future tht awaited him.

He looked around the place, scared by the atmosphere of the place. He didn't know here he was. Where was he? Where was his mom and dad? They were supposed to go to the amusement park tomorrow. Where were they?

It took him a few moments until he remembered the events that happened a few hours ago. He looked in front of him, to notice a small group of men in white costs attending to a very frightening machine. He was even more scared than he was before. His shivering body connected with a cold metal metal box, alerting the men that he was awake.

One of the men grew a feral grin on his face, before walking over to the small child.
"Looks like he's awake. " The small child froze in place, his body wouldn't budge. What were these men saying? He couldn't understand a word.

As he tried to scurry away, he was instantly snatched up and slammed on a table, a cry of pain escaping from his lips. As tears appeared in the corner of his eyes, the sounds of a machine powering up scared him out of his skin.

Large syringes attached to a multiple chrome arms hovered around him. He looked around to see various tubes in the hands of the other men's arms. The beeping of a machine to his right made him extremely paranoid. He yelped as a wire was shoved into his wrist. At this, the machine picked up in its beats a little more.

A drilling sound was heard as well, but he didn't know from where. His vision was limited to above him and his movements were being restricted by locks. He struggled to move, but it just wasn't happening.

A squeak of fear escaped him, as the multiple syringes began to descend in his direction. He could feel his heart racing and the beeping continued to increase in speed. Tears now streamed down his face, as the needles were dangerously close to his flesh. He screamed out for someone to help. Who? He didn't know. All he wanted was for someone to save him.

As he screamed, laughter surrounded him from all sides of the table. The beeping was now insanely rapid and the sound jus kept getting louder. He released one final scream as the needles dropped and orange liquid and began to sink into his flesh, the men coming closer with the tubes, as well as sharp blades. "Noooooo!" His cries were silenced, as the rapid beeping ceased to a flatline.

Katamori slowly rose from the wooden bench, rubbing his head as he did so. His head was now pounding. As he ran his hand through the silver-white mass of hair, he heard the sounds of humming.

As he turned his head, he caught sight of a girl, sitting on the swing. She hummed a tune that was unfamiliar to him. Then again, he hadn't really heard music in a long time.

It was a wonder why she was here. He was the only one who came here anymore and others only came to deliver his daily beatings or chase him off. It was one of the reasons they were going to get rid of his park. When that time came, he would no longer have anywhere to go.

As cobalt blue started at the girl, he was unaware of the figures in the bushes a few ways away. They were cloaked in black, camouflaging them from sight. They were undetectable by normal people.

In the bushes, a man looked through the barrel of his rifle, his sights lined on the boy on the bench. "Target is in sight, awaiting orders." The static of a communicator was heard, before an electronic voice spoke into the man's earpiece. "Eliminate the target. Scans conclude it to be Sawada Katamori, Vongola Tredicesimo."

The man shifted his rifle, the sights lining over the boy's head. "Understood, Sir." The communicator shut off with a click, leaving the bushes on silence once more.

After hearing the sound of a click, Katamori turned his head to face the bushes. The last thing heard was the sound of a bullet.

Ruri continued to hum her little song, swinging back and forth on the swing as she did so. Her slender legs dangled cutely as she swung, and she moved them back and forth in unison to swing higher as the minutes went by. It was so tranquil, so wonderful, and she found herself wishing that the moment would last forever. She loved just remembering the good times, especially since there were so few of them to cherish. The more she allowed herself the remembrance, the more vivid they appeared. Sometimes, it was almost as though they stood out more than the bad memories. So long as she tried her best to move on from the terrible times, focusing more on the good times, even if it was realistically out of proportion - the good was, in illusion, outweighing the bad. It was nice to fool herself in that way sometimes, although her heart knew that it wasn't all completely true. But, Ruri was doing her fragile heart a favor - allowing it to bask in good memories rather than torture it with the bad.

As Ruri's song finally began to come to an end, she listened to the soft squeaking of the swing and that sound alone. However, as she listened closely to her surroundings, she heard what sounded like the slight creak of a wooden bench. Ruri stopped swinging then, and she slowly got up and turned to face the sound. There was a boy standing there, and he was looking at her with a gaze of cobalt blue. It was entrancing, and as if by reflex, she took out the picture and compared.
S-Silver hair -- it's the only difference! Could it be? She wondered ecstatically to herself, quickly putting the picture away. Just as she was about to make her way towards him, her pale porcelain pink lips opening as though she was going to say something, she caught the sound of static from radio communicators. Ruri was immediately on guard, and she could tell they were coming from the bushes right behind the boy. She couldn't make out the exact words being murmured from the bushes, being that her hearing wasn't that acute.

But, she could hear the click.

"
No!" Ruri screamed, and rushed over to the boy as quickly as she could. She managed to reach him before the bullet was shot, but in the process of pushing him out of the way, her arm was kissed by the deadly metal. She winced, but due to her parents training, she could handle great deals of pain. Not too great, being that she is still fragile deep down inside, but just a bullet skim wouldn't phase her too badly. She grabbed her arm as she rested on top of the boy for a brief moment, and she was too caught up in survival mode to get embarrassed about it. Once she quickly regained her composure, she got back up, and pulled the boy up with her. He was about half a foot taller than her, but he didn't seem to weigh that much more than she did. Perhaps he was malnourished? Well, that's to be expected, Ruri came to her thoughts quickly, and gently grabbed the boy by the wrist and fled as quickly as she could.

"
I know you're probably exhausted, but we have to run," Ruri spoke in her soothing, almost child-like voice, gently tugging Katamori along with her as they ran off as far and as fast as they could manage. After a while, even Ruri began to lose her breath, so she decided to come to a stop. Slowly letting go of Katamori's wrist, she looked up towards him with her glistening lapis lazuli eyes. As she took a good look at him, she noticed how his silver hair covered most of his face. Tip-toeing to meet his height a little more, she cautiously brought her hands up to remove the stray strands. Her expression seemed to say, 'excuse me,' without speaking the actual words verbally. She noticed how he seemed pretty beat up, and this made a pained look cross her angelic face. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, almost as though she completely understood his pain without actually feeling it.

She then placed her feet firmly back on the ground, returning her delicate hands back to her sides. "
My name is Ruri Wakahisa," she spoke kindly, allowing a small, sweet smile to play at her lips though she didn't feel like smiling at all. Just like she expected - this boy has been through a lot of pain, even after escaping that hell he was imprisoned in for so long. "Are... Are you Sawada Katamori?"

((Again, my apologies if it comes off as somewhat off and rushed xD I, again, winged it a bit. :b))

5 minutes earlier ....

Franky pouted as he heard Claudio's report in his earpiece, "Damn, I can't anyone else, be the first to find little bro!" he shouted in an obviously frustrated manner. He scratched his head trying to come up with some thought, any thought that could help him find Katemori. "Silver hair eh?" he muttered as he contemplated what to do next.

His mind raced, as he his feet stopped, he groaned a bit as he tried to figure out how to solve this problem. In this moment of deep thought, Franky's mind thought back to a conversation with his father.

8 Years Earlier...

"Franky, I want to tell you the story of Primo Vongola and Primo Simon" his father said in a warm and yet stern manner. A faint smile slowly growing as his son smiled widely and sat near the fireplace. Franky smiled with a pre-pubescent innocence, he was no older than ten when his father told him about the Simon and Vongola alliance. About the friendships the Primo's shared, and how those friendships were renewed between the tenth leaders of both families. Franky remembered the look of amazement on his face, the childhood wonder he felt when his father told him that one day he'd meet a friend, no more than a friend, a brother.

4 Minutes Earlier...

Franky's suddenly laughed loudly, "I've got it!" he declared before mumbling something to himself, "Though pops and the others may not like it.". Franky paused for a moment no doubt contemplating the weight of the action. Though apparently that didn't take too long, seeing as he almost immediately began dashing toward a nearby alleyway. He reached into his swimsuit pocket, reaching for a pair of nondescript white pills before coming to an awful realization. The pills had dissolved in the waters of the pool, and not just two of them, rather the full handful he had stashed before.

Meanwhile...

A girl whom had ingested a little pool water was suddenly paddling like crazy, the girls around her were being left in the dust as the girl swam across the pool at an unreal pace. How could this have happened, after all this girl had once been the slowest in the girls swim club, but now she was bound to break a dozen records as she madly dashed laps in the school swimming pool.

3 Minutes Earlier....

Franky was frantically pacing, looking in his pocket he gripped his hand around his next choice, though he didn't like it. No it was more than simple dislike, it was fear, he shuddered as he gripped a small Dillinger from his swimsuit. The gun had no than a two shot capacity, and it was small, miniature even. But despite the small size of the weapon itself, Franky knew full well what it meant to get shot by it. Cool beads of sweat began to fall from his face as he contemplated his only real option left.

Franky took a deep breath before bringing his hand up toward his earpiece pushing the button to send another signal, "Hey guys, I'm gonna be a little less than coherent for a while, if you need me follow my tracker okay?" he said in a cheery tone before yanking the transceiver from his ear.

He popped open the barrels of the small Dillinger, he sighed a breath of dread as he spotted the single red bullet in the chamber. "Don't worry Katamori, your big bro's here to help", he declared before forcing the barrel of the small gun up against his temple. He gulped, obviously nervous, his hand trembled a bit as he remembered the sensation very clearly.

And then there was a loud shot, a shot that would reverberate within the town. Dogs barked, kids laughed, and an eerie silence descended upon the alley in which Franky's body collided with the cold brick floor. His mind began to blink out of existence, all his thoughts, all his memories, his whole life flashed before his eyes until. A spark, a last glimpse at the flyer he had made to find Katamori, his brother, the Vongola.

2 Minutes Earlier...

"REBORN!"

A loud shout pierced the silence, the dogs stopped barking, the children stopped playing, and the adults looked around for the source with looks of concern. As a strange young man suddenly ran from an alleyway at a seemingly superhuman pace. The man was dressed in nothing more than a swimsuit as he ran across the town, "I WILL FIND MY BROTHER WITH MY DYING WILL!" he shouted loudly, as he frantically searched across town. Running up to towns folk and showing them the flyer, running along the streets, checking the alleys as he did.

1 Minute Earlier...

The strange man probably seemed even stranger as a flame hovered a mere centimeter from his brow, a flame that any Mafioso would recognize as a testament to this young man's dying will. Franky ran at a pace unmatched as he neared a district of the town that somehow seemed quieter. He kept pressing on, running towards a park at a breakneck speed. Two movers were moving a piano into a house as Franky leaped over the two and continued running, he spotted a fence up ahead, but that wouldn't stop him.

The Present....

Franky leaped over the fence with relative ease, his dying will forcing him to leap with every bit of muscle, and every bit of effort he had available to him. Indeed he had cleared the fence, however due to the strength of his conviction, he might have overshot it a bit. The young man finding himself plummeting from his rather high jump, he heard a gun, first the cocking, then the trigger. He heard the radio, he heard the name "Katamori" on the man's lips. Yes, he heard all of these things, before hearing a shot and colliding with the shooter immediately afterward. The assassin breaking his fall as he desperately searched for the intended target, the man beneath him groaned in pain, he had probably broken a few ribs from the collision.

Franky turned in time to see Ruri run off with a silver haired boy, wait silver haired boy. Katamori! His mind rejoiced as it had found it's intended goal. Though with the feelings of accomplishment, came a dawning realization. The flame on his forehead extinguished, vanishing in the first moments he had recognized Katamori. Leaving him surrounded by a group of assassins with no weapon and no real hope for escape, "Oh hey...I don't suppose you want to be friends?"

The man under him groaned, "Bastardo" he muttered between labored breaths as Franky still sat atop him. It was at this moment that Franky put his hands up, "Don't shoot I have kids!" he shouted. Of course it was a lie, but teen pregnancy was on the rise, perhaps he'd get some compassionate assassins. Though the feeling in his gut, assured him otherwise.

Oh where were his guardians when he needed them!?

(I have returned ; u ;)

For some reason, Haruki never got tired of Italy, even if she had been patrolling the its small streets for more than a year already. The wonderful aroma of delicious cuisine was all over the place, and so was the fresh air which for some reason, everybody wanted to just sniff away with their pleased noses. The Sun Guardian bounced off happily on the side walk, bringing her gaze back to the same places that she had looked for Sawada Katamori the day before. "No luck." Haruki repeated on the voice receiver the same sentence that she always muttered every day. But indeed, she still believed that the 13th Vongola Generation's Boss Candidate was still somewhere around this area. She didn't have any evidence for that though. She just... felt like it. It was tingling in her bones.

She didn't really care wherever she walked. She would even get lost before, but even if that happens now, the other Guardians could just bring her back to their base. Athalia never thought that it was a bother to them though, because in every time that it happened, they would be able to pick up some kind of clue or hint leading to Sawada. "
Katamori..." She muttered randomly; Purely out of the blue. Yes. Just right now the Sun Guardian decided to call her hopefully future Boss by his first name. That is, unless he doesn't want her to do so. As she slowly looked to the left, a school engulfed by mostly horrible breeded students met her eyes, and small leaves blown away by the wind from the trees far gently slapped against her face. No need to be here, she thought, as she noticed a few boys probably months younger than her go creep towards her. They were still by the badly-cut bushes though, about eight meters away from her.

"
Do you need anything?" Hakuri asked them, and in alert, they jumped up the bushes, trying, but failed to act mighty. She definitely didn't know what was going on though. They looked terrified, and wanted to make a point against her. "Y-You..." The guy who seemed to be bruised and hurt whispered, as if he was still in pain. "You look exactly like that girl who-" Haruki cut off his words with one of her cheery chuckles. Yes. The guy was most probably referring to her adorable younger sister, Ruri. There was never a time when Haruki never found her cute, and if given a chance, she would just want to play with her all day. Or at least, poke her cheeks. "Lapiz lazuli eyes, a silverish hue tone of a hair? Sure thing. You're talking about my sister, but I can't blame her." She stepped forward with the nicest look on her face, but it was surprisingly they were still terrified. They never knew what she was capable of, and they better not. "Did you mess with her?" A friendly grin was still planted on her face, but the aura or overprotectiveness was surrounding her.

"
Have mercy!" He pleaded, and Haruki nodded in return. "I'll spare you," She bounced off and announced happily. The people who weren't so close to her only thought that she was being playful and all. "but only if you tell me where you've seen her last." They gulped and nodded, and one of the group's members--a seemingly weak and small guy--pointed to the east. It led to the road where at the end, one of the abandoned parks would be found. A contented Sun Guardian nodded for the last time, and handed them a small card with only her name and number. Haruki Wakahisa | #09452s*, "Take care of that. If you have new information, just call me." One of them crumpled it into his pocket, and Haruki went on her way. She heard a few faint sounds on the receiver, and she started to quicken her pace. A gunshot. She ran faster. Ruri, her sister, and Shimon's 13th Generation Boss. She couldn't feel her legs that much anymore. The words, "Katamori Sawada",

She ran faster than she should have.

After a few minutes, she was already by the park. A swing was partly moving.

She spotted the situation at hand though. "Guardians. Attention all Guardians!" She shouted in her voice receiver. Hopefully they weren't busy enough to not hear her. "Water and Sun Guardian are present. So is the Shimon's Earth Guardian." She looked at her sister from far away, hoping that she would see her. "Ruri, do you hear me?" she whispered, and squinted seconds later. She spotted another figure by her sister, who was very familiar, similar to someone who they have always wanted to find. "Is that who I think it is?" She couldn't help but observe the boy in surprise.
The only difference is his hair...

Letizia growled as the students rushed around, panicking and crying in fear as they attempted to find the person she demanded for. Her blue orbs stared at the sky as a new voice entered, grasping her attention immediately. Of course, it was first ignored by her until there was something pressed against her throat. Blue orbs shifted, glancing at the knife that just kissed the skin of her neck as she sighed.I really pity some people...their weakness is something they do not understand.

The thug, well a delinquent student just grinned as he pressed his weapon closer to her skin, the crimson droplets falling made her squirm. "Hey, Girl, Who gave you permission to walk into my grounds and do this eh?" He whispered as the storm guardian candidate murmured. He hummed, tempting her into speaking louder. "I said...get the hell off me before you join this pile." She replied louder as she grinned.

The man did not move for the next few seconds, but that was deemed far to long for Letizia so she reached up, her small and nimble fingers wrapping around his wrist as she applied her strength, staring ahead as small murmur's past the crowds lips. The man, no child released the knife, the silence quiet enough to hear the metal clatter against the ground.

Her fingers continued to apply pressure, listening out for the sickening snap that echoed as she threw her body forwards, dragging him along with her as she slammed him into the ground, a frown on her lips. "Dear, don't try me...I am not in the mood." She hissed as she released him, glaring once more at the ground before she walked off.

The school had nothing to offer.

She walked down the streets, her eyes closed. She was tired, she wouldn't deny that but she was also irritated. Where was this Katamori Sawada? It was then that the transmissions form the others hit her ears, her fingers pressed against the ear piece as she groaned. "So, We may have found our boss..." She murmured before nodding.

She adjusted the white gloves upon her hands as she fell into a ran. Her fingers pressed against the piece set in her ear as she spoke. "Everyone, meet up at Rain, Sun and Shimon's position." She stated, talking over their radio. "I want him safe!" She murmured softly before cutting her line.

Letizia was running, well of course she was. If this is really Tredicesimo then we don't have to search no more! Excitement ran through her as she sped up. Eventually she set foot in the park, her stoic expression fading as she stared at the white haired kid before she growled. "Someone tried to shoot?" She whispered before looking over at the Shimon boss. "Shimon-sama, get off him please..." She smiled softly as she clenched her fists, walking over to the 'assassin'.

Why did she speak in Japanese? Simple, it was easier to speak without the public understanding.

She walked over to the assassin, crouching down. "There is a car coming, take him to that. We must take Tredicesimo to the base." She stated before she reached down, grasping the back of the shooter as she stood up, dragging him with her. "Im going to kill him." she seemed happy enough by just saying this.

Someone who wore a grey jacket and black jeans strolled around the lovely and enchanting streets of Italia.

With a hood that covered his head and shaded his eyes, he felt thirsty and what not, bored, since his
life turned into a routine ever since that humiliating event.

With his hands hidden in pockets, his pale lips reflected indifference as the people around him carried with their busy life.

He saw a vending machine a few metters away and walked over to it, occasinally looking around with a dull glance.

Well, at least the architecture was nice, he liked it.

After inserting the coin and grabbing the drink, he heard someone that was leaning against the machine laugh quietly, and a moment later, numerous footsteps produced by more people that approached, surrounding him. The hooded boy arose to full height, calmly holding the drink.

"... Hey, you know that this vending machine is mine, right?" The hooligan asked grinning, and more laughter resounded in the background afterwards.

"Let me put this bluntly. This one is special, and you should pay an extra fee before you get hurt, capisci..?'' They came closer, but the boy walked off silently before letting them surround him completely.

''WHERE ARE YOU GOING!? Are you ignoring me you piece of s***?'' The tall hooligan yelled with an angered expression plastered on his ugly face and rushed towards the boy, hurling a fist at him.

Upon hearing the loud footsteps, the boy crouched, sending a swift and precise kick up to the big guy's chin. The force of the impact made him fall back and collide with ''
his'' vending machine, cracking it slightly.

The boy's hood fell back, revealing his dark green hair that waved in the air smoothly. A faint smile curved his lips for a short instant, as he slowly opened his eyes, which showed the same color as his hair. A part of the good and exciting memories came back into his mind, but soon, his lips went back to form a discrete line on his face.

There was no time to lose, since he already attracted too much attention. What if the Vongola discovers that he was living in Italy?

He pulled up the hood again and walked over to a dark alley with discretion, soon vanishing into the shadows and leaving behind the hooligans, which gathered around their boss with worried faces. They never saw someone move that fast, and obviously wasn't a good idea to chase after him.

After a while, the hooded boy headed to what seemed to be a calm and uncrowded place. The fact that it was filled with nature pleased him slightly, so he walked over said place, lifting the small bottle and downing more of that refreshing drink.

Suddenly, a shot was heard, and the boy, without delay, tossed the empty bottle aside and ran silently, following the direction where the sound came from, obviously dragged by the curiosity.

It wasn't the first time he had to use stealth, so he did pretty well to remain undiscovered.

He saw a girl wearing an elegant dress and running away, dragging someone with silver hair. Who would think that he was Sawada Katamori, the candidate for

Vongola Tredicesimo in that moment? He seemed so frail and weak...

The hooded boy decided to follow them. Damn! Years passed since the last interesting and exciting thing happened, why not?

But just when he was about to take the first step, someone wearing a swimsuit crushed upon the assassin, which made him go back quickly to the hidden spot.

Remaining in the shadows, he felt that maybe more people will arrive. There was not much to do besides observing, so the hooded boy did just that, silently and discretely.

Everything had happened so fast, Katamori didn't even get a chance to react. One moment, he was gazing at a bush he had heard noises from and the next, he was on the ground. It hadn't taken him long to realize a stranger was keeping him on the earth.

It was a girl that appeared to be a little younger than him. She had blue eyes, similar to his own, but with a slight yellow to them. The most noticeable thing about her at the moment was her wince after a speeding object brushed her arms. A bullet? Why were people shooting?

As the girl removed herself from his body, she began to drag him away. Her fingers brushed against nasty-looking cuts and bruises, new and old. He noticed that she was around his height when standing. It wasn't that surprising, Katamori was short for his age.

He looked back slightly when he heard the commotion from behind. A boy in nothing but a swimsuit, stood on top of a man dressed in black. He was able to notice the rifle beneath his form, as he was taken away. So that was a bullet. What was going on?

When the girl finnaly came to a stop, his expression still hadn't changed the entire time. You'd think being almost assassinated would've changed that. Of course he didn't know he was trying to be assassinated.

He stood still as the girl brushed strands of his hair from his face. His hair had been long for a long time. His hair grew while he was imprisoned and it stayed that way when he got out. He couldn't get a haircut with his current lifestyle, so the mass of hair remained.

When she spoke her name, he noticed that it was Japanese. In fact, this stranger had been speaking Japanese the entire time. He hadn't noticed before, due to the many events that had happened in the last few minutes. Of course, this brought questions. Why was she speaking Japanese? How did she know he would understand her? Why was someone with a Japanese name in Italy? There were many unanswered questions.

When the girl asked her question, he looked down a bit. "Sawada...Katamori?" His voice held even less emotion than his face, complete monotone in his vocals. It also sounded hoarse from lack of use. There wasn't much need to talk, when nobody wanted to listen.

The name sounded foreign to him, as it escaped his lips. He hadn't gone by that name in many years. He had almost forgotten that he had an actual name besides Depriste. He hadn't been addressed by anything else in so long, he kinda just forgot about his birth name.

He nodded at her, confirming his identity. Why did she know that name? Why was she looking for him? The questions just kept coming. Something was off about this whole situation.

Meanwhile, the assassains with the Simon Boss were displeased that someone had interfered with their mission. They pulled out their pistols, their sights lined on the boy. As they prepared to fire, a buzzing was heard from their communicators.

One member in particular pressed his finger to the receiver, listening to the person on the other end. "Understood, Sir." The man removed his finger from the receiver and turned to face the others.

"Retreat and regroup at base!" At that moment, every member disappeared in a veil of indigo. Even the member from beneath the boy in the swimsuit disappeared. Their must've been a Mist user in their ranks. Just like that, they were gone, untraceable.

Franky laughed nervously as the assassins trained their guns upon him, his hands raised in the air in defeat as the men strained their fingers against the triggers of their guns. At that moment he really wished his guardians were somewhere, of course when you had guardians they were never quite there when you actually needed them. As he sat there contemplating his options Letizia appeared, "Ah Letizia chan!" he shouted, blushing a bit to himself, he suddenly began waving toward the girl despite the guns trained on his being.

As he did the assassins seemed to cock the guns, pulling the hammer back on the semi automatic pistols as they no doubt sought to shoot him dead. Franky winced a bit, closing his eyes as he awaited his death but was surprised to see the leader listen in on an earpiece. The man was obviously talking to someone even higher on the totem pole, which peaked Franky's interest, he opened his eyes. His normally good natured face furrowing into a more contemplative form, just who was this boss? Just who were these people? He thought to himself, but these thoughts would have to wait as the men suddenly burst into indigo clouds of dust and smoke.

"Damn mist user" he muttered in response, as he fell on his ass into the dirt, the man he sat upon vanishing along with the others. "Bastards!" shouted Franky in response, as he coughed and choked on the cloud of indigo. Perhaps it was only illusion but nonetheless it felt real, he coughed up a bit more of the smoke before turning toward Letizia.

As he did she would no doubt notice the drastic change in his demeanor, "I want a net, call all Vongola and Shimon agents. I want all exits checked, all water ways blocked, and a perimeter around the city" he said in a serious tone, his eyes unwavering as he gave the orders to the prospective member of Vongola.

Franky then brought his hand up to his head, ruffling his hair a bit as he brought himself to his feet. He dusted himself off as he headed in the direction Katamori was dragged off in. "My MY, lil bro, aren't we popular?" he asked. He sighed a cool sigh of relief, knowing Katamori had escaped the shot, he then turned toward Letiza once more. She would notice his eyes were now less critical, his demeanor now more calm. " Oh and Letiza have the others go and grab us some ice cream" he said with a smile, laughing a bit to himself.

"My little Bro Katemori could probably use some after a day like this don't you think?" he asked with a warm smile, his demeanor almost entirely reverting back to his more care-free nature as he left the park and headed toward Katamori.

"Hey Ruri Chan! Wait up, I wanna see lil bro too!" he shouted after the young rain guardian, what a treasure he thought to himself. His younger brother would be handed the world, and he'd be handed the friends he needed to change it, the only question that remained was if he'd take it.

Deep down Franky couldn't help but feel a little jealous of the young Vongola, yes, sure, he'd had a sh*t run so far, but life was about so much more than the downs. Franky knew that the ups in life often rose to match that which brought you down. He sighed as he neared Katamori and Ruri, "So your my lil bro eh? Young Vongola?" he asked with a warm smile as he crouched down low to meet Katamori's gaze...

Letizia was irritated. How dare that useless excuse for a human being escape! Raging she released the air before she stood back up, glancing over at Katamori Sawada, her eyes narrowed as she huffed. Weak... Was her only thought. Shaking her head she brushed her uniform down, adjusting the red tie given to her by the last storm guardian she glanced around. "Seems there is no more." She murmured.

She of course began to scan around the area before nodding. She couldn't risk the next vongola boss nearly being assassinated. With a scowl she turned around, walking over towards the next vongola boss candidate and the Shimon leader. What did she do when he tried to order her. Her eyes closed as she brought her fist inches from his face. "You...have no power to order me. I obey only the Vongola boss, his guardians and Sawada Katamori." She hissed as she huffed.

Rules were rules though.

She brought her phone out, brushing the dark brown locks form her face as she pressed dial, bringing the phone to her ear. "This is the storm candidate, I request that surveillance be set up in the area I am currently in. Please also report to boss that the thirteenth candidate has been found and will be brought back immediately." With a nodded she closed the call.

She glared at the Shimon boss for a moment longer before sighing. "Get your own ice-cream. The vongola candidate's and I are not under your jurisdiction, Allies or not." She stated, pulling her hair back as she glanced back at Sawada Katamori, blue eyes were judging him as they looked him over, a slight huff to her tone. "I cannot believe such a weak looking kid is going to be our boss...we might as well let the other families ruin us." She mumbled before bowing.

"I am Letizia Carlevaro, Storm guardian candidate." She greeted, before standing properly, one hand resting comfortably on her hip as she glared down at him. "Now let me explain. You, Sawada Katamori are a candidate for the thirteenth boss of the Vongola mafia." She spoke calmly, her eyes not once leaving him. "We have been searching for you for a long time."

Hearing the Vongola car pull up she looked over at the other guardians. "We need to hurry back to base...if there was mist users here once they may be able to pass surveillance again." Pointing to the car she looked back at Katamori. "So, we need you to come with us so we can protect you until you have received your training."

Claudio had been watching the events of the day go on from the shadows. As the mist guardian candidate he felt that he shouldn't intervene in the affairs of the other guardians unless it was absolutely necessary. Seeing the agents from the enemy famiglia Claudio already knew that they were mist users and was curious as to how the other guardian candidates would handle them;Besides he was too lazy to fight anyway.

After the confrontation had ended Claudio smiled too himself "They're pretty capable of handling themselves,Although I am worried about- Katamori he seems a little.....weak" he thought to himself. As he was about to emerge from his hiding spot Claudio watched as the Simon boss tried to order around Letizia laughing as she completely disregarded his orders. "Baka..."

Claudio finally left this hiding spot greeting Letizia and introducing himself to Katamori "As the beautiful Letizia has told you are a candidate for the 13th boss of the vongola family, and as she is the candidate for storm guardian I am the candidate for Mist guardian. Claudio bowed to the boy "Pleasure to meet you" he smiled.

Katamori looked at the older boy with his usual dull eyes. 'Lil' Bro?' What did he mean? Did he have an older brother he wasn't aware of? That didn't seem likely, but it wasn't impossible. He could've shown up after he was kidnapped.

As the long hair girl came up to him, he noticed many others were arriving as well. What was going on? Why were all these people approaching him? He had been ignored for the longest time and all of a sudden people were paying attention to him? This was all confusing and a new questions seemed to pop into his head every second. So much was happening in a short amount of time.

What did this girl mean by her being a Storm Guardian candidate? He had never heard that term before. And what did she mean by boss? The bit about his weak appearance didn't really register. He had been called everything in the book, so words didn't really phase him anymore.

He didn't understand what she was saying. He had never heard of Vongola. Why was she talking about clams? As she continued to speak, he understood one word quite clearly. Mafia.

Ever since escaping he had figured out about the Mafia. He didn't know many details, but he did know about its existence and how he was related to some member. It wasn't much, but it was enough at the time.

He looked to the ground, as the girl continued to explain his position. 'I'm...a Mafia boss candidate?' He kept his gaze on he ground, long hair shadowing his dull eyes. He was going to be a Mafia boss? Jut how long had these people been searching for him? Was that why all these people were here?

He still didn't look up, Evan as the black car arrived. They were going to train him? Just like that? He hadn't even said a word and yet his whole life had been decided in under minute.

He stayed silent for a few moments, still looking down as they watched him. "No..." His tone still hadn't changed from the hoarse, monotone voice and the blank expression remained beneath his mass of hair. He slowly turned around and began to walk in the opposite direction. He wasn't running in any sense of the word, like he wasn't even trying to get away from these people. However, he did want to get away.

The Mafia was the reason for all the pain in his life. Being taken from his home, the torture, the imprisonment, the experiments, the beatings, and the scarring. All this was because of the Mafia and now he was supposed to become a boss? He didn't even have a choice in this matter. Everything had been decided for him, just like the rest of his life. He wanted nothing to do with the source of all his suffering. So, he just continued to walk.

Franky winced for a minute as Letizia threw a punch his way, breathing a cool sigh of relief as it fell short of his face. "Now now Letizia Chan, it was just a suggestion" he murmured, a nervous smile on his face as he gently grabbed Letizia's hand and moved it ever so slightly away from his face. He tried to do whatever he could to conceal the beads of sweat that fell, scary he thought to himelf, knowing full well the dangers of trifling with an angered bella donna. Deep down he knew the veracity, the anger of a storm guardian first hand, though he'd never quite understood it. It was hard enough for a man to understand a woman, but Letizia was a time bomb, just waiting to go off if you cut the wrong wire.

Franky turned back toward Katamori, a gentle smile on his face, looking at the boy was uncanny, it was like looking into a mirror. Like seeing himself a few years ago, before he found his own guardians, before he accepted what it meant to lead. Which was why it didn't surprise him when Katamori refused to become boss, turning and walking away from these strange characters whom had introduced themselves no more than a moment ago. Or rather hadn't done a moment ago, Franky turned back to Letizia. "See this is why we need the Ice Cream" he said in a matter-the-fact tone. He sighed as he walked away from the others, "Just go with the flow, you guardians, you expect a boss to be one thing, you expect us to be another" Franky turned to face the others for a moment. "Sometimes we just are what we are" he muttered before pursuing Katamori.

He called out after the young Vongola, "Hey wait up" he said in a voice that was in-between a shout and a normal tone. Franky then caught up to the boy, ruffling his hair through the his hair, "My my, those eyes of yours they really are the same" he said with a smile as he crouched down trying to get a good look at Katamori's injuries. "I know how this feels, I know what it means to feel like they just decide things" he said in a tone that was so unlike his normal demeanor. His normal cheery attitude seemed to give way to real feeling, real emotion, something that Franky never quite allowed himself to do.

With a cool sigh Franky reached into his pocket to produce a watch with a crest upon it, "You know I grew up in the states" he said as he looked at the watch. "I went to school, I had a normal life, all up until they decided for me." he said the words with a pang of regret before he looked up to catch Katamori's glare. "But trust me when I say that with family comes something more than you can ever know, more than you can feel alone" he said these words with a slight smile. "Whatever you choose little bro, you got my support" with a grin Franky tossed Katamori the pocket watch with the Shimon seal upon it. Within it there was a picture of the Vongola Decimo and Shimon Decimo hanging out as friends.

The sterling silver pocket watch truly a beautiful sight, and it could no doubt be pawned by Katamori for a large sum, but something told Franky that he didn't need to worry about that. Franky smiled as he stood, "Hey Vongola guardian prospects" he called out toward the others, his look appeared strict and stern before giving way to a bright and cheery smile. "Who wants Gelato?" he yelled, as he opened the invitation to everyone. "I'm buying" he commented as he pulled out a black card from his back pocket. He smiled, his normal outlandish and cheery demeanor returning to him. This would hopefully be the start of a new beginning, and how appropriate it would be to start with a delicious snack and new friends...

(I hope you don't mind that the guardians have voice receivers c:)

Sky blue eyes scanned the area where most of her allies were. Haruki's blonde hair bounced from left to right, as she was quickly moving her head to see everything she wanted to. If you weren't used to it, you would think she was some kind of monster or ghost or even probably crazy. She had a habit of studying and observing in a fast way, and that sure helped her notice a lot of things.

She allowed the Shimon leader and the Storm Guardian Candidate to initiate orders, which were complete protection and surveillance. She also noticed that Letizia seemed to not like how happy-go-lucky the Shimon leader was. it was, pretty much, also obvious that Letizia did not like their boss candidate at all. Possibly just even a small scoop, but everyone knew that she hated weak.

Haruki stayed in her position, still meters away from them. She felt that she had to. Either they noticed her there or not, didn't really matter. Ah, she opened her lips to form it but only breath came out. A hooded guy came and walked close to the group, and introduced himself also. It was actually the Mist Guardian Candidate, and it took about a minute for Haruki to realize who he was.

With her enhanced hearing abilities, Hakuri heard their conversation loud and clear, that she didn't need her voice receiver to do so. "We should give him more time, but it might induce his risks of safety." She muttered over it, only enough for all allies to hear. Then, she was surprised that he was walking away, in her direction, in fact. The Shimon leader tried to enlighten them, and Haruki just stood there.

"You know," she faced Katamori. "It's not like I want to force you, but please don't misunderstand." She glanced at the picture of Vongola and Shimon Decimo together, making her a tad bit happier. "The mafia is a big... place. The mafia that normal people know is full of bloodshed and war, just like how you've experienced." She bit her lip, because she didn't want to remember all those data that she had gathered about the rightful heir. "You've been through a lot, but we believe that you're the key to end this. You hold our peace. You may be blaming us for all those horrid happenings in your life, but will you even believe me if I said that we weren't?"

"Give us a chance, boss," A smile was planted on her face unconsciously. "because we're all going to make things right together." It was true, that when Katamori comes with them, he would be a new, better person. He did seem weak, but wasn't that also all that the bosses have been through? Haruki knew that he would be strong someday, and she could see from now that he was a good boss. He didn't even have to worry about those people who made his life miserable, not anymore. Because from this time on, she would protect him.

(Oooh, mental block. Sorry >,<)

She continued to glare at the Shimon boss. The idiot had definitely hit a nerve with her when he tried to order her to do something. Alliance or not he had no control over her and her actions. "...One day Shimon-sama...one day." She hissed angrily, folding her arms across her torso with a sigh. No, she couldn't kill him but she would punch him again. She'd enjoy it too. She yawned tiredly, her eyes closing for a moment as she pulled out her phone and looked at the screen. She hadn't slept for a long time so her anger was probably was a ticking time bomb.

No? Hearing that the brat said no she snapped around to face the weak child. "No?" She was still for a moment, her eyes closing as she calmed herself. Boss or not she hated him. A lot. "Do you know what kid...you continue to stay here and get beat up all day everyday. You stay here and live in a park that will be gone soon, you stay here and have no one." She stated before turning on her heels. "At least we offered you a family, a home and a proper life." She hissed before walked over to the swings.

They couldn't return without the 13th boss candidate.

He is so weak... I don't get why he is the candidate! He will just die and break all of us down...how can a weak sky hold the elements. Of course, she never or tried not to get involved with weak people. She actually cared for the other guardians though. They were not weak. Her father was weak and now he was dead. Simple. The weak are the dead.

Her hands rubbed at her eyes tiredly, trying to push away the faint stinging that taunted her into sleep, that wanted her to close them and just relax her guard so she could return to the realm of her dreams. She wouldn't allow it. Despite her scowl and her folded arms, the Storm guardian was quite upset. It did hurt to be rejected. Him rejecting was like rejecting the guardians after all. It hurt.

She pushed the swing slightly, listening to the ominous squeak of the chains as she did. She kind of wished her mother was here. The woman would just give her some candy, not that she would tell anybody about that like of hers, and then use her illusions to let her see her father once again. Even if it wasn't true it always calmed her strangely harsh temper down.

Resting her head against the rusty chains she just huffed. "Do what the hell you want with him, I don't care no more." She stated, her voice harsh as she closed her eyes. Well, she cared. She just would hide that too. She pullet out her phone, blue orbs slipping open as she stared at the screen. She flipped through her contacts before she began texting again.

"Letizia-san..." Haruki mumbled sadly. She had been through a lot with the fellow Guardians in their family, and also with different mafias. Good and bad, they've been together. And Haruki of course, always knew how it felt like. To be rejected, to do something you did't want to, it was always sad and depressing. But somehow, the Sun Guardian knew in her heart that Katamori and Letizia were misunderstanding some things. They only needed time to be with each other and talk so much that they can understand each other, and Haruki knew that. The Cloud guardian candidate seemed to not want to care about their boss candidate anymore.

On one of the swings where she would always sit on, along with her sister, Haruki saw Letizia's hand pushing its chains slowly but gently. She always thought that it was Letizia's way of calming herself. Haruki would do that too, but very rarely would she lose her temper, after all.
Everyone wants space, Haruki thought out of the blue. Haruki's emphatic face turned back to Katamori. She was deeply wishing to anyone she could that he wouldn't leave. There were countless times that she was left alone, until she met a lot more good people. Her and Ruri's parents died when they were a bit younger, a few years before Haruki finished her training. In the mean time, her other relatives trained her, and she had to adapt to their personalities.

Dark, sadistic, negative. Also one of her weaknesses. Man, weren't they going all through her so quickly. She could feel the sadness piercing her, but she ignored it and tried to remove it, at least to bring it away from her. She would be weak, and useless to the family if she were to embrace her weaknesses right now, and she didn't want that to happen, so she hid whatever it was, for now. She was good at hiding feelings as much as she was good at making people happy, since she has done this for a long time--years, so many she couldn't count. "
Katamori-san," Haruki said, but her voice cracked a bit. "Please, don't leave." Anyone who wasn't blind could clearly see the pleading in her eyes. We can't lose you anymore. Haruki added in her mind. We need you.

(Uggghh winging it, sorry :c)

Katamori stood still to listen to their words. He listened, but their words didn't sway him. Nothing they said could change his mind. He didn't want this and yet he was being forced to do so.

He stood for a few more seconds, before walking again. He would keep walking until his feet gave out. He didn't want to even hear the word 'Mafia' anymore. He wanted nothing to do with this dark society. Their problems didn't involve him. Why wasn't he allowed a sense of normalcy?

As he continued walk, he felt a sharp pain, as a black shoe connected with his chest. His whole body went flying from the sheer force of the kick. He continued to soar, until he landed in the black car. Thankfully, the door was left open.

Katamori held onto the already injured area and his hand rested upon his throbbing head. He looked outside from under his bangs and saw the owner of the black shoe. It was a tall man in a black suit, a yellow undershirt visible from beneath. He wore a black fedora, the same yellow color wrapping around the cone. He had jet black hair poking out from beneath the hat. The most noticeable thing was his perculiar sideburns. They were curled and appeared to be very bouncy.

The man walked over and leaned into the car. He removed his hat and placed it over his chest. He looked at Katamori with a smirk, as the sideburns bounced with the motion. "Chaos, Sawada Katamori. I'm Reborn and I'll be your tutor from now on."

Katamori looked at the man, as he held into the injured areas. A tutor? They had already assigned him a tutor? Just how far did they plan out his future?

If he was here to help him, then why was he kicking him? 'What kind of tutor hurts their students.' Reborn placed the fedora back on his head, his sideburns bouncing as he did so. "One like me." Katamori looked at the man when he spoke. 'He can read my thoughts?' Reborn smirked and leaned out of the car. "No, you're just easy to read."

Reborn shut the car door and locked it from the outside. It was a pretty nifty feature to have. He looked at the rest of the Guardian candidates, as he opened the passenger side door. "Now then, we're heading back to the mansion."

He waited for the Guardians to enter, as he told the driver to start the engine. Once they were all inside, the car pulled off. The car was split into three sections, despite looking small from the outside. The first two were like any other car, the front seats and the back seats. The last section was like a limousine. There was plenty of space back there for Katamori, but he couldn't get out. The first two sections and the third were separated by a window that would go up or down on demand.

As they drove, Reborn gave Katamori the rundown. He told him about his heritage, how he was a direct descendant of Vongola Primo and Vongola Decimo. He told him about the current situation and how was to become boss. He told him every last detail about everything. Meanwhile, Katamori just sat in his section, bangs still covering his face. He didn't make a single sound, as they drive to the mansion.

It was late by the time they arrived at the building. The mansion was not the real Vongola Mansion, but it was still big enough to fit more than a thousand people. They had bases all over the world, which made stopping pretty easy.

"Report to your rooms and get a good night's rest. Tomorrow we go to Japan to start your training." As everyone filed out and made their way inside, Katamori stayed in the car, still silent.

Reborn opened the door and pulled Katamori out of the car. "That includes you." Reborn practically dragged the kid inside, as the car drove off.

As he entered the mansion, he mumbled a bit. "What was that? Couldn't hear you." Reborn had heard him, but he was already trying to get the quiet out of him. A boss that couldn't speak up wouldn't do well in heated discussions.

Katamori spoke louder this time, but it was still quiet. "I...don't want to be a Mafia boss..." Reborn looked at the scrawny kid from beneath the brim of his fedora. "That doesn't matter. Whether you like it or not, you're going to become the next Vongola Boss."

Letizia was sulking, she would NEVER admit it but she was sulking. Stupid Katamori. She pouted, SLIGHTLY, as she kicked the swing off. Her eyes stung with tears, her cheeks slightly red as she puffed them out, her hands on her lap. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid Katamori! It was the rules! He couldn't just break them! Standing up angrily she continued to glare at the back of Katamori Sawada, the current embodiment of her hatred.

She was shocked when Reborn, the current best hitman arrived. "Reborn-sama?" She gasped, staring at him with wide eyes. It was rare to even see the hitman, he stuck to the shadows like his ancestors. You didn't even have to see him to die by his gun! He was strong, so he instantly had the respect of Letizia even if he was the worst person in the world he was strong.

When he ushered them all into the car she sighed, walking inside with a frown. Taking a seat she just shut her eyes, her arms crossed upon her torso. For most of the ride she just listened quietly, attentively but quiet. However, when they neared the mansion she glared at the Sawada with everything she could. If looks could kill he would be dead by now.

Getting out she nodded and quietly left for her room. Training was tomorrow. If, by luck, she got to even hit Katamori Sawada she would. Hard. She stormed off to the Storm part of the manor as she went to her personal training room, well the previous storm guardians. Walking inside she changed. No longer dressed in the white shirt and skirt she pulled on a tank top and shorts. Walking back out she tied her hair back up into a ponytail.

So, she began to train again.

Her fist slammed into the punching bag, forcing the sack of sand back as she snarled. The second it neared her against her opposite hand shot out to hit it once again. This continued for hours and hours. For all she cared she knew her knuckles would be bruised and battered but she had to increase her strength. Other wise she might as well die now. She'd be weak.

A few minutes later her mother walked in. The mist guardian of the 12th gen smiled softly at her daughter as she walked over towards her sweating and bruised daughter, sighing softly. "Letizia, you know your father would not be proud of you doing this." She stated, taking a seat on the couch at the side. Letizia just glared slightly, holding her hand carefully. "Father was weak. So he died. I do not wish to die Mum." She replied quietly, ignoring the tired sigh passing the brown haired woman's lips. "He was not weak Letizia." She stated firmly, causing the storm guardian candidate to glance over at her. "Then why is he dead and not you. If you were weak wouldn't you be dead too?" She asked. She did not say this harshly, but her mother knew her changes always left her like this.

Letizia's mother stared at her daughter before smiling slightly. "Because It was not my fate. Lettie, you know that I loved him and I still grieve for his death, as do you but you can not push people away for appearing weaker." She stated, standing up. The girl shook her head before walking over to the tables, grabbing some bandages. "I need to go report to boss." Her mother said before walking off.

She began to wrap her hands within the soft white bandages as she sighed. She had heard of Sawada Katamori's history and it did pain even her cold and stoic heart. Such a terrible tale. It nearly brought tears to her eyes, that was the reason she accepted this. However, that was before her fathers death. Having already sworn to protect Sawada Katamori to the 12th boss she would not change her words. BUT she would hate him. He was weak, probably planning to give up and leave them all heart broken. "He will fail us too..." With that she walked out of her training room, looking for Haruki.

Her knuckles really hurt, more than usual so she hoped the Sun guardian candidate would be able to help.

Katamori sat on the bed, arms crossed on his knees. Reborn was currently going into further detail of what lied ahead for him. This tutor didn't listen to anything he said about not wanting to be the boss.

He looked down at the black sheets, tuning out the hitman's words. This was a big mistake, as a large mallet soon connected with the back of his head. He held his hands over the wounded are and looked up at Reborn. This man seemed to enjoy causing him pain. 'Why does he find the need to hit me?'

"I wouldn't have to hit you, if you listened." There he was again with that mind reading ability. Reborn had said he was just easy to read, but he still thought the man possessed some inhuman ability. He wasn't that readable, was he?

"You'll feel a lot worse than that during training once we're in Japan." At these words, Katamori began to protest once again. "But...I don't want to be a boss. Besides, I hate fighting..." This was a true statement. After years of abuse, Katamori hated violence of any kind. He refused to put his fists up for anything. It was another reason why he wanted no part of the Mafia.

"Like I said, you're going to be the boss, whether you like it or not." Reborn looked at the small child from beneath his fedora. His unwillingness to fight would be problematic. He could always force it on him during training, but that wouldn't yield proper results.

"Then, what would you do if you were kidnapped again?" At this Katamori raised his head and looked at the hitman. His attention was easily captured by this. "If they came back for you, how would you defend yourself? If you don't know even the basic self-defense techniques, what's stopping them from putting you through that all over again?"

Katamori processed the information in his head. This man spoke about something he had worried about in the past. He didn't have anyway to defend himself. He could easily put through the torture again.

"Just forget about being the Vongola Boss for a second. As Sawada Katamori, you will need to know how to protect yourself. Training will help you achieve this, but you'll only be able to learn if you're willing." He looked at the boy with his coal eyes and pushed up his fedora's brim with his index finger. "So, what'll it be? Sit in fear all your life or learn to protect yourself?"

Katamori brought his head up to face the hitman and waited for a moment. "...Fine...I'll train. But, only so I can protect myself. I still don't want to be a boss..."

Reborn smirked and walked over to the door. "Good. Remember, we leave for Japan early in the morning. Rest well." With that, he turned out the lights and exited the room. He hadn't even acknowledged what Katmori said about not wanting to be boss.

Katamori laid his back down on the bed and looked up at the dark cieling. The bed was very soft and it was comfortable. He had forgotten what it was like to sleep on an actual bed. The closest thing he had to one, was the old, splintery bench in the park.

He continued to stare up at the cieling, arms crossed behind his head. "Japan...huh?" It had been years since he had been there. He had no idea what had changed. Things would surely be different. The last time he was there, he was around the age of five. He remembered that he had been happy there, but would it be the same? He had changed and so had his life.

As he thought about Japan, his father came into his mind. It had been around ten years since he last saw him. Back then, they were happy and he loved his father very much. However, he knew much more now. His father used to be a member of the Italian Mafia before he was born. The Mafia was something he hated, but what about his father? Did he like the Mafia? If so, why?

There was a lot to think about. A big thing, was the relationship between he and his father. Things definitely wouldn't be the same between them, but he didn't know how. Would his father push the position on him as well or would he help him stay away. Either way, nothing would be the same. Not just his relationships, but his life as a whole.

Katamori turned his head to the side, letting it rest on the black pillow. Not that anything really mattered anymore. He closed his eyes and his breathing slowed. He could think in the morning. Right now, he didn't want to think about anything. All he wanted to do, was sleep.

As Katamori slipped into unconsciousness, he was unaware of the hitman leaning against the wall on the other side of the door. He lifted off the white wall and began to move through the many halls. It wouldn't be easy making Sawada Katamori into a proper boss, but he would do everything in his power to make it so. If he couldn't do this, he would be a disgrace to his ancestor.

A small green chameleon popped out from around the hitman's fedora and scaled down to his finger. Two yellow eyes stared at the black-haired man, as it perched. Reborn rubbed the chameleon's head with his finger and his partner licked it with its long tongue. "We've got a long road ahead of us, Leon."

Claudio watched as no one could persuade Katamori into becoming the next Vongola Boss until a shoe hit him in the back of the head. Claudio turned his head to see none other than the worlds greatest hitman Reborn,No not the original arcobaleno reborn that tutored Decimo but a descendant of his. Cluadio was in complete awe of the man,He was immensley powerful and respected by all memeber's of the mafia.

After Katamori was knocked out and pulled into the car Claudio filed in along with the other's for the long ride back to the Vongola base, As soon as they arrived he headed to the mist flame holder's side of the mansion and straight into the personal training room of all previous Mist Guardians and began to train. "Faster,Make it more vivid,Bigger" Claudio thought as the sweat dripped down his face. For about 5 hours he was practicing his illusions making them as realistic as possible,His martial arts skills were already bar none but that didn't really matter when you are aiming to become the mist guardian. "Creating something from nothing, and nothing from something; thus bewildering the enemy, to render the Family's true form intangible with visions of deceit." He thought to himself making two new illusion's one of his mom and the current mist guardian two women that he admired most. He sighed throwing his trident at them as they evaporated into a lavender mist.

"Training is tomorrow, but Reborn is a sun flame holder what does he know about the mysteries of the mist?" Claudio went and sat down grabbing a bottle of Naked gulping it down enjoying the smooth sensation "I'm really tired and I really don't want to go through this training regime tomorrow" He sighed again leaving the room to wander the mansion "I wonder if Letizia's mom is here maybe she can help with my dilemma"
