Picrew- By Shitataru

Personality-
While she isn't as wild as her parents, Clement still has their energetic blood flowing through her. If she wants to do something, she can barely sit still in class if she doesn't decide to skip the class. Clement would never turn down a possible adventure. Though, if someone got hurt during one of her outings, she apologizes fervently. Clement could be described as having a bleeding heart, feeling awful whenever Clem sees a person or pokemon in pain, and will do nearly anything to help. Unfortunately, she can be quite gullible at times. If someone tells her they need a pokemon plush to feel better, Clement will buy one without a second thought. The only exception is if she has reason to believe otherwise. They also constantly worry about others which often messes up their plans. When Clement thinks somebody could be in danger, she will, without a second thought, drop everything to check on them.

Often missing information or due dates, Clement works hard to make up whatever she can and stay on track with missed classwork. Unfortunately, her inability to focus on minor details does cause her major trouble in subjects relating to math. Arceus forbid there's ever a power outage while she's studying, Clement never liked the dark, and that feeling only amplified after what happened at her relative's. Luckily, Inari can use will-o-wisp to help with this fear. While a blackout is unlikely, knowing Clem's bad luck, it could happen at any moment. Either bad luck is attracted to her, or she's an actual wellspring of misfortune. Past all this, Clement is very amicable and tries her best to be a good friend to those who enjoy her company. She's also the type to buy surprise gifts to show her appreciation to her close friends. Lastly, Clement's most admirable trait is her burning passion for her dreams and what she believes. Also, doing everything in her power to reach her goal. To become a trainer capable of rescuing those in danger.

⚠️ CW: Murder/Pokemon Abuse⚠️

Clem's early life could be called a hurricane of their parents dragging her and her brother at their whims. Luckily, this benefited the kids by showing them the expansion world and the many different types of people that inhabit it. Yet, it was a nuisance to Clem's elder sibling at times later in life as it could interrupt their studying, which is one of the many reasons they jumped to study at the academy. Overall, Clem cherished those memories, good and bad. Their favorite memory was the Glimmer Forest hike their parents took them on. Clem vividly remembers the soft glow of the mushrooms lighting the place up like magic and the capstone of the trip when they got their very own Ponyta. Clem's heart filled with so much joy that day it was practically overflowing. She couldn't wipe that smile off for a week afterward.

Unfortunately, because of the nature of their parent's work, they had to go on an expedition and couldn't bring Clem or their Sibling along since it was a dangerous area. So, they both had to travel to their relative's region, where some of their extended family had generously offered to watch over them for the time being. Taking a step off the train sent anticipation and shivers throughout Clem's body. Having never physically visited this region before, Clem was ready to explore to their heart's content. While walking to the family's house, Clement heard a shriek, but their older sibling urged them to get inside as it was freezing. Inside the home, they met their generous family members. The mother and father were both extremely comforting and accommodating. Their kid, Andy, was around the same age as Clement and had a friend named Kyle coming over to stay the night, who arrived shortly after Clement and her brother. After eating together, Clement turned in for the night, planning to get up with the sun to look into that shriek. She found it in a cold abandoned shed, with the once-departed soul of Zorua sitting atop its corpse. Clement's heart tore open, regret flooding through them. If only she'd checked, if only she didn't listen, if only she cared a little more. Holding their chest, Clem collapsed to the floor, rugged breaths as they tearfully apologized to the Zorua.

Clem didn't know how long they'd cried, but eventually, it stopped, and they remembered something about the Zorua's Hisuian form. Clement realized if it was near the source of its resentment, the energy rising from its head could show who did it. So, Clement made a promise, pouring her whole heart into her words, promising that with Zorua's help, she'd bring the perpetrator to justice. Zorua stared at Clement's puffy eyes for a while before accepting. But after exhausting everywhere they could look in the town, they weren't any closer to finding who did it. That didn't diminish Clement's drive. She had two weeks before needing to return home and wouldn't give up that easily. So, clement returned to the house, learning that Andy's friend had left to return to his town. Clement and Zorua searched for three more days with absolutely no leads. At this point, Clement was considering sneaking out so she could search around other towns. On the fifth night, Andy woke Clem up in the middle of the night. Kyle had left his backpack here, and he needed it back asap. Clement didn't complain since it allowed her and Zorua to explore more of the region. Clement quickly went to deliver the bag, hopping onto the train and making her way to the address given without thinking so she could spend the rest of her time there searching. However, the address leads to a large wooden shed with the door ajar. Clement hesitated for a second before entering, calling out for Kyle. That's when she noticed it. Zorua's resentment had shot to the top of the ceiling, coating it completely.

The door slammed shut behind her, and Kyle stood between her and the exit. Clement could barely recognize him with the minimal light provided by the moonlight. Kyle started laughing, a twisted and sick laugh that made Clement's stomach churn. She could remember the exact conversation with horrific clarity. "Oh, I knew someone messed with it. That door should've been closed fully, but someone left it open. Who could've guessed it was Andy's Cousin? It's hilarious! Now, it'd be best if you handed it over. I need to dispose of that evidence."
Just thinking about what could be in the bag made her want to drop it, but she held it tighter, grabbing Amalthea's Pokeball. "How could you do that, you sicko! You won't get away with harming an innocent pokemon!"
"Quite simple actual! I was curious!" Kyle tossed out two pokemon, a maniacal grin spreading across his face. A battle ensued, and each side exchanged several blows. Kyle barked commands at his pokemon as Clement worked with Amalthea to take out his first one with a well-landed Fairy Wind. Kyle's next pokemon took the opportunity to use a ghost-type move, almost knocking Amalthea down immediately. Clement clenched her fist, glaring at Kyle. Her brain spiraled, and she instructed Amalthea to use Horn Drill as a last-ditch attempt to beat him. Her heart sank as Kyle's pokemon dodged it and started to charge up a Shadow Ball, but before it could go off, Zorua used Shadow Sneak and knocked Kyle's last pokemon unconscious. Kyle collapsed to the ground, dejectedly chuckling as he mumbled to himself. Clement exited the shed and reported everything to the Police. After that, the week passed like a quick attack, and Clement returned home after giving her goodbye to the Zorua.

Once home, Clement tossed her backpack onto the ground and threw herself onto the bed. They stayed like that until they noticed some red thing coming from their backpack. Clem jumped over and bent down, unzipping it to reveal the Hisuian Zorua that immediately jumped on her. It turned out that the Zorua grew attached to Clement and was even willing to join her team when asked. She decided to call him Inari. However, now that her parents had returned, that meant being dragged around, and their current whim was to go on vacation to the Alola Region.

The salty air blowing past as the ferry cruised around the islands was refreshing, and the delicious malasadas were the icing on the cake. Clem needed the vacation after what happened. She wondered if that was why her parents decided to go on vacation. After a long day, Clem was returning to the hotel when Rockruff started tugging on her pant leg and barking. Not wanting to repeat what happened, she followed the Rockruff, which stopped and pointed to fallen rocks covering an elderly gentleman. Clem tossed out Amalthea and Inari to help carefully remove the rubble with Rockruff's cooperation. Clem carried the man back to town to get him some medical help, and after making sure he was in good hands, she went and crashed into her hotel bed. The next day, the man knocked on the door to thank her by giving her the Rockruff that helped them yesterday. She was reluctant, worrying that the man would be in danger without Rockruff. But, the man promised to stay safe and figured it'd be worth it if Rockruff could help other people in danger. After this, Clement realized what they were passionate about doing and figured attending the same academy their brother did could help with that goal. Clem, now determined to become skilled enough to help people and pokemon out in the wild who were in need.

Personality -
Clove is a natural prodigy in the world of cooking, able to learn through hands-on experience at a phenomenal rate that outpasses the highest expectations. Being so skilled at a young age has bolstered her confidence for better or worse. As a result, Clove often follows through with whatever she decides to do, though she can also seem full of herself at times. Clove can act cocky if she's at all skilled in an area, sometimes causing her to make somewhat impulsive decisions. Raised as a spoiled child, she is rather picky about what she wants, and if something doesn't meet her standards, she'll toss it. Her pickiness also applies to her dishes. Clove immediately discards any food she makes that is unfortunate enough to be considered subpar. From time to time, she can be particularly pretentious, acting like she's at a higher level than someone else for many possible reasons.

However, Clove's upbringing allowed her to gain insight into acting proper within formal settings. While Clove can easily switch to being well-mannered and refined, she usually prefers casual environments where she may do what she desires instead of what is considered proper. Yet, both sides can bleed into each other, sometimes blurring the line.

While a prodigy in cooking, she struggles with concept-based learning, usually only getting low scores in such classes. But as not to make her family look bad, she does try her best to study and work on the concepts. Clove has a positive attitude towards battling as it gives her pokemon exercise and makes them happy. However, in the case of poison pokemon, she will actively avoid any interaction with such. Clove harbors fear and disdain for poison pokemon after what happened and doesn't want them to hurt her pokemon either. Overall, Clove's best trait is her supportive attitude, giving out free food and assisting people in whatever way she can. Clove enjoys helping and talking with people as it gives her a sense of comfort, like her old chats with Eleanor.

⚠️||CW: Death, Grief, and Loss|| ⚠️

The Momento family is a wealthy and well-established family living within a 90,000 square ft mansion in the eastern province of Paldea. Clove was born an only child in this family and, as a result, was cared for by their parents endlessly. Their parents had the servants do everything for Clove, while Clove just sat and observed as they chose clothes, activities, and food for Clove. Their whole childhood was finely curated to give them what their parents thought would be the best life for Clove. This lifestyle continued for them until one fateful night when Clove had a nightmare. The nightmare consisted of a gigantic Garbador towering over them. Clove was paralyzed and unable to move as the Garbador wildly thrashed its arm over the place. Before hitting, they shot awake, their heart rapidly beating as they took deep breaths with their parched throat. Rubbing their groggy eyes, Clove pushed off the bed, standing up. They didn't want to get the servants involved since they'd most likely turn on the lights and make it harder to go back to sleep once she had her water, just like last time. In addition, she knew that her parents would be overly worried about her nightmare and ask so many questions. Yet, as Clove opened the door and peered into the dark hallway, they started having second thoughts, imagining all sorts of horrifying pokemon around the estate. Clove thought about just trying to go back to sleep despite not having any water. Shaking her head, stubbornly refusing to back down, she dashed out her door and started to attempt a stealthy movement to the kitchen, turning the sink on and acquiring the much-needed relief water. Feeling as good as new now, other than the creeping fear. As Clove was about to leave the kitchen, a terrible grumble came from within her stomach. Already this far into the charade, Clove decided to cook something for herself. After all, how hard could it be? Unfortunately for Clove, the process was more difficult than she initially thought. Clove spent all night making something she was content with eating, throwing out everything that didn't meet her high expectations. Once finished, Clove pushed everything into the sink and ran back to her room to act like she'd been asleep the whole time.

When her parents inevitably found out, they consequently subjected her to concerned questioning. Yet, something good did come from it as a cook gave the idea that Clove might like to learn a bit more about cooking. Telling Clove, "If you'd been able to cook a dish you liked the first time, you likely wouldn't've been caught." Thus, her path in cooking began, quickly surpassing several of the cooks and being deemed a prodigy in the cooking world. Though, this was only the first step in her expanding interests as she started to explore outside the estate, constantly worrying her parents to near death. On one such adventure, she stumbled upon an apple orchard near Cortondo. Clove casually went there to pick fresh fruit for cooking. However, the owner sometimes catches her, asking what she's doing picking those apples. Luckily, Clove usually can outrun the ninety-year-old. She repeated this for about a year. That is until the doorbell rang one fateful morning. Clove, up and early, working on cooking, quickly ran to open the door. On the other side was the old apple orchard lady. Clove froze, staring her in the eyes for a few seconds, processing what she saw before slamming the door shut. "Mom, Dad! There's a robber at the front door!" Clove said, lying through her teeth.

After security confirmed that the old lady, Eleanor, was not a robber, they let her sit and chat with the Momentos. After a lovely chat, Eleanor explained how she'd love to treat them to fresh apples, but Clove always ran away before she could show them which were the ripest. All Eleanor wanted in exchange was a chat with someone now and then. Clove was treated to some very minor scolding not to steal from people. Afterward, Clove would often visit Eleanor for some apples to test recipes. They'd exchange pleasant chats, and the orchard became a comfort space for Clove since Eleanor didn't worry over twenty-four-seven, unlike her parents. She even got to meet the women's pet Fidough, the cutest little dough dog around, which helped Eleanor with her signature apple pies. One day while Clove was wandering in the orchard, they suddenly heard buzzing and went to investigate. Moving through the apple trees, she noticed a Beedrill attacking a poor defenseless Applin. Having no pokemon of her own, she had to think of a clever solution. She then snagged a few apples off the tree, splitting them open, then seasoning them with sweet spices from her bag. Using a kitchen lighter, she heated the apple's flesh to amplify the aroma to reach the aggressive Beedrill and lure it away. Once it was distracted, Clove swooped in to snag the Applin and run to Eleanor's home. Unfortunately, Eleanor didn't have poke-heals, so she tossed a Pokeball to Clove to put Applin in so it's easier to run them to the nearest poke center. Clove tapped Applin with the Pokeball, sending it into the ball for protection. Then, after some basic directions, Clove took off. Then she heard buzzing.

Beedrill used Fury Cutter. Clove barely dodged it in time, ripping part of her baggy sleeves. The adrenaline caused Clove to speed up, the town in sight. Checking behind her to see if she'd lost the bug, just as Beedrill sent out Pin Missles, hitting Clove three times, once in the eye, knocking her to the ground. She hit the ground hard, rolling as she kept a tight grip on Applin's Pokeball. She attempted to push herself up with her shakey arms, failing to get on her feet. Her eye was burning with pain as if a million tiny needles were stabbing into it all at once. Clove moved her hand to clasp it over her eye but lost her balance and crashed back to the ground. The Beedrill was closing in on her until a Fidough jumped out of the orchard and used Fire Fang against the Beedrill, sending it reeling. Weakened, the Beedrill cuts it and flies off. Clove thanked Eleanor's Fidough fervently and finally got to her feet, getting Applin to the Pokecenter. They immediately started treatment on her eye and Applin. Clove gave a massive sigh of relief when informed Applin would make a full recovery. After the incident, Applin stayed by Clove's side and became the first pokemon on her team. But, Clove also gained a personal bodyguard after her parents saw her ruined clothes, scratches, and new eyepatch. Despite several attempts to shake the guard, Clove could not get rid of the individual and eventually submitted to being followed around whenever she went outside. But, her life overall was joyous and peaceful. It was her perfect life, the one her parents wanted to give her.

Then, in an instant, as if the legendary pokemon Arceus willed it themselves, it came crashing down. Last night, Clove had stayed up cooking again and passed out on the kitchen floor. Her loving parents cautiously tucked her into bed, careful not to disturb her peaceful slumber. She had another repeating nightmare of the Beedrill chasing her, but Fidough never showed up to save her. As the poison sting was about to hit her, she awoke to a mortified scream. Clove pushed herself off the bed and groggily walked to the kitchen, wondering what caused such a reaction. She walked into the dining room, seeing a few servants collapse to the floor and several jogging around the place, attempting to contact help. Clove's eyes widened in horror as they eventually landed on her parent's collapsed bodies. She slowly approached, asking what they were doing, "Mom, Dad? W-what are you doing on the floor?" Most of what she remembers was a blur, medics taking away her parents as she desperately cried out for them. Clove didn't know how long she sat in shock before getting up and stumbled blindly, ever-flowing tears obscuring her vision, to Eleanor's house. She knocked several times but to no answer. Clove reached down and picked up the spare key from the potted plant, unlocking the door and stumbling inside, attempting to shout for Eleanor, but her throat was already sore from pleading for her parents. Staggering to Eleanor's bedside, she tried shaking the old cold body awake, hoping for a hug, some form of comfort for the tragedy she couldn't even wrap her head around. Eleanor's body wasn't breathing. Clove fell to the ground, heavily breathing as she pushed herself into a corner, curling her knees up to her eyes of sorrow. Wailing her heart out, for Clove did not know what she had done to deserve a fate such as this.

Eventually, Eleanor's Fidough came over, nudging Clove's arm with its nose, attempting to force it into her grasp. Clove looked over, taking a moment to recognize the blurry dog before snatching up the Fidough, holding it tight to her chest. Both seemed to gain some sliver of comfort from the embrace.

Clove woke up and pushed herself to sit in the bed, rubbing her tired eyes. "That was a bad nightmare." For a moment, an ignorant and blissful moment, Clove thought it must have just been another nightmare. However, the hospital bed quickly disproved that. An immense emptiness suddenly filled her stomach, forcing her to use the trash bin. The doctor explained everything to her, how they found her asleep near Eleanor's corpse, who had peacefully died from old age, how a poison type pokemon had somehow tainted the home's water and her parents had a severe reaction from it, causing them to fall into a coma. It was too much. It was just too much for her. She couldn't handle this. Clove had locked herself in her room for months, refusing to come out and barely touching the servant's food. That is until one servant decided to slide a slip for Violet City's Johto Academy, recommending the young master visit it to get some fresh air. When she first saw it, Clove refused the idea, crumpling the advert and tossing it into the rubbish bin. Yet, it appeared on her desk when she woke up again. Clove threw it once more before going back to bed with her pokemon. Then, she woke by Eleanor's Fidough, Danish, dropping the paper onto her head. Clove growled, tearing the paper in half and snapping at Danish, raising her voice to say she wouldn't go to the stupid academy. The dog's expression immediately stopped as it dragged itself to the corner to lie down, whimpering. Clove let out a frustrated sigh before drowning her face in a pillow, then returning to her slumber. The very next day, Fidough woke up to Clove packing her stuff. She apologized for yelling at Fidough the other day and finally decided to leave for the academy. Though, Clove stated that it was only because Fidough and Applin wanted.

Name:

Altair Prasiola
[#FF009E]

Age:
13

Team:
Strike

Hometown:
Castelia City, Unova

Career Path:
Intelligence & Investigation

Personality:
Altair is, odd, to put it simply. He is mischievous and eccentric, preferring his own methods of doing things most of the time and is a master of ignoring other people's advice. This often makes him come off as a little arrogant, which isn't entirely untrue as he often dismisses other people and attempts to take everything on alone. Although it could be justified as despite being seemingly unpredictable and irresponsible, he actually plans much of his actions carefully and has a highly analytical mindset. Almost constantly he boasts a haughty and slightly menacing smile, even in defeat he holds that demeanor and denounces all his mistakes as simply bad luck or miscalculations, but will secretly polish his abilities when no one is watching.

For his age Altair is a bit cynical because of his rough upbringing, and often uses language that might not be appropriate for his age either. He always tries to act strong even if it would hurt himself and doesn't want any help from anyone. He's quick to judge and is constantly on guard of others offering him compassion and can keenly identify and call out those who try to take advantage of others. Although he likes to act tough and ruthless, he's not really in tune with his own emotions and impulses and sometimes does things he can't rationally justify, this frustrates him but also is often why he can do the right thing despite everything.

Bakground:
Born in the alleyways of Castelia City Altair was never one of much high status, his family was neglectful of him and was absorbed in matters such as gambling or money battles. Most importantly, his older stepbrother seems to passionately hate him and would bully and torment him as a child at every opportunity, even using Pokemon to attack him. As his parents became more neglectful, they have even began to extend that to their Pokemon. Altair took them and began to spend most of his time wandering the city and its surroundings. He made a life of petty crime along with his mother, a Kalosian's Pokemon, Klefki, pickpocketing passing office workers or stealing keys.

Soon Altair's family basically fell apart. His older brother ran away from home and was never really heard from again, although Altair was perfectly fine with this as they seemed to mutually hate each other anyways. His parents wanted to move to a new region, despite being young at the time Altair knew it was likely to escape from whatever debt they had built up. But that ordeal never came to fruition after that their marriage broke apart shortly after, his mother wanted to take her Pokemon, Klefki back to Kalos with her, though the Pokemon itself refused. Altair was left in a big city alone with both of his parents returning to their respective homes, but he felt that he was fine as long as he had his Pokemon with him, although it wasn't the most glamorous life.

However, things eventually changed. One day a police officer showed up and wanted to question him, and it wasn't just any old police, it was the International Police. Altair knew he might have done some dubious things before, just nothing on the level where the InterPol would get on his ass. But it wasn't because of anything he's done, it was about his older brother that he haven't seen in years and had no love lost for. It appears that after he left home, he joined the International Police and went missing in action recently. Altair didn't care at first, his brother hated him and always bullied him anyways, whether he's dead or alive or missing didn't matter, but the officer who approached him explained why he was here in the first place, his brother requested this.

It turned out that his brother had problems of this own as well, as their mother was essentially scammed by a Unovan man out of their home in Laverre City, and in his teenage year the tense relationship between his brother and parents caused a lot of familial friction. And after sometime away, his brother wanted to apologize and try to reconnect, but never really found the courage or opportunity before he went missing. Altair didn't really forgive him or anything, it was good to know, though none of it really mattered if he's missing and most likely dead now. But the officer that brought him the news noticed that Altair was...alone. His parents were absent, he didn't seem to have a stable place to live, any income, and evades questions about how he makes ends meet. And so Altair was adopted by his most likely dead brother that he hated's coworker, who was quite busy himself so he was sent to the new academy in Johto. He wasn't happy about it on the surface and questioned the whole ordeal, and stated that if it was all true then he'll track down his brother himself and ask him about it. It might be a coping mechanism though.

Pokemon:

Species: Klefki
Name: Psion
Gender: Male
Ability: Prankster
Moves: Thief, Torment, Foul Play, Play Rough
Calm and careful, Psion is always on the look for any danger or suspicious activities even when not battling, he is Altair's partner in crime for years and is very nimble. It seems to have rubbed off of it's former and current trainers arrogance, it likes to furiously shake its keys towards other Pokemon, especially dragon types. Skilled at stealing keys and pick-pocketing others, likes to play pranks on strangers even when his trainer didn't instruct it.

Species: Piplup
Name: Axel
Gender: Male
Ability: Defiant
Moves: Grass Knot, Ariel Ace, Liquidation, Endure
A Piplup that Altair and Psion dragged up from Castelia's sewers, whom seems to have been abandoned. He is somewhat timid and airheaded, which often causes it to struggle to keep up with the rest of the team. Altair initially didn't want to bring him along due to that reason, but his determination to get stronger seems to have gotten through, he tries his best.

Name: Mobi
Gender: Genderless
Ability: Steelworker
Moves: Pain Split, Power Whip, Phantom Force, Anchor Shot
A Dhelmise with a mysterious past, the large size of their body makes them seem rather intimidating, but they are actually quite a solitary Pokemon that easily panics when in novel situations. This combined with their large size can cause a fair bit of unintended destruction, something that they're a bit self-conscious about. They like to sink into nostalgia and deep thought occasionally, settling down in quiet places for meditation sessions (that often alarms people that passes by).

Species: Egg
Name: ???
Gender: ???
Ability: ???
Moves: ???
A 4'7 egg gifted to Altair by the InterPol officer who adopted him, though Altair suspects he just wanted to get rid of it because of how much space it takes up.

Name:
Buffward “Buff” Biffington
Age:
22
Height:
6’4
Weight:
265

Team:
Ignite
Hometown:
Rikishii Town, Johto
Career Path:
Sumo League Champion

The Reigning, defending, undisputed, universal world Sumo League Chaaampppion…BUFF!!!! THE STUFF!!! BIFFINGTON!!!” ~ Reoccurring daydream that runs through his mind and occasionally slips aloud.
Education History:
Heavy-Strong Dojo (Family run dojo & Sumo training facility for the Heavy-Strong method. Day 1 to Present day.)
Johto Academy ( Second year of attendance)

Appearance:
Buff stands around 6 feet and 4 inches tall while weighing in around 265 pounds of fluffy, buffiness though his physique is hardly appearing of any fat. Only with certain styles of clothes that overflow or are baggy in nature does he appear fat by any stretch of the imagination. While his thick brown slightly of curvy strand hair is most often kept long within a bunny tail that drifts off to one side. It’s also a functional yet contained messy of style. Clean. But yes indeed messy of style with bangs that can hang down before the front of his nose and two other sections of bangs that shape the sides of his face namely his almond shaped hazel green eyes.

Often preferring loose, comfortable clothing that can give off the false impression that he is of a fluffy in nature kind of physique. While parts of his chest and shoulder tattoo that he claims is a spiritual badge of honor and reflection of who is can be seen when wearing such clothing. More so if wearing other styles that have no sleeves or anything to cover it. He often sticks to traditional sandals but will reluctantly change his choice of footwear if absolutely necessary

Overall, he’s a buff, thick browed babyfaced young man with the occasional shadow and scruff on his face resembling that of facial hair. Unlike his mess of hair on his head, his facial hair never really thick or grows too long unless he goes a incredibly long time without shaving. Which is a true rarity in itself. While he does have a couple small freckle/moles upon his face and neck, three in total with two below his right eye and the last on the left side of his upper neck. Lastly, he does sport two thick band dark of color metal earrings, one on each ear at the outer center region.

Personality:
Buff is a rather uniquely confident and unwavering of courage young man. Always has been. The strength of his convictions is rather astounding. That being said…. He can be rather hard to decipher when it comes to his intelligence. He’s so caught up within sumo wrestling that he tries to find a connection in everything life has to offer and exists around him to Sumo wrestling. A firm belief that Sumo wrestling is a way of teaching life lessons and a manner of being. A strict code of ethics and honor. Everything can be found in Sumo wrestling to the accepting mind and keen eye. Though considering it’s a exaggerated level and incredibly committed, of his family’s Heavy-Strong method and code, it’s understandable where he is coming from if a bit much.

But as strong and large a man as Buff is…. He’s incredibly kind of heart and pure of nature. A balance of intense fiery passion that burns greater then a Magcargo through its shell and a blazing sun outlining its body behind them with the gentleness of a cuddly, protective Bewear. Buff is your typical non typical giant of a figure with a vibrant outgoing personality that prefers to uplift and teach rather then tear down for another to build back up.

Furthermore, he’s a massive sports fan so when not talking Sumo wrestling and philosophy, all the ways life is found and can be taught lessons through Sumo. Which is seemingly a extreme rarity. Buff can be found talking about his favorite teams, games and etc, unless he’s caught passionately karaoking solo to various songs at any given time or place. A karaoke machine isn’t even present and he can still be found singing out loud to all kinds of music. He’s not the most vocally gifted of singers, but maker bless him if he isn’t aware of it and does so sing aloud anyway.

Speaking of passion…. He can be incredibly passionate and emotional with no fear in shedding some manly tears in great streams rolling down his face and bear hugging people and Pokémon of any size with the upmost of dramatics and scenes. Yet despite this regularity of display, he’s very thick skinned and rarely offended without great enough effort. Such displays can be most often found during proud moments of achievement for himself or others. While at the the same time he can be a bit brutal in his teaching techniques and strict to the code he grew up having instilled in him while very bound to honor. However it’s this combination that ultimately makes him a interesting mentor and person as he can be found on both sides of the scale.

Background:

Born to one Matilda Biffington neè Porter and one Bazz The Gruff Biffington. Buffward is through legend said to be named after his chosen moniker as a too young a child age, it was a burp that sounded strongly in his parents ears and ringing out in call of….. “Buuuuffffff-waaaarrrdd” and thus he was so named by his parents. Of course, this was merely a overhyped and proclaimed myth his father insisted and deemed facts as well as legend. It simply fed into his desired beliefs of how a child of his would come to be named and how he claims he as well as all men in his family were given names after birth. Again all exaggerated, muddied water truths and half truths mixed in with some idealistic ways that he can build his foundation for passing onto future generations of Biffingtons.

Meanwhile, Buff was raised by two very strict but loving parents with their own forms of passion in life held together in forming and running the Heavy-Strong Dojo. Thus, Buff was never allowed to be and appear weak and lazy. Though a young toddler Buff on up through the years of his childhood was never mistaken for weak or lazy. Surrounded by a rich history of sumo wrestling, countless varieties of Pokémon and two rather large and powerful parents who more closely fit the fluffy, stereotypical sumo physique not to mention their diets and love for food. Buff was never a dull or easy to manage child. While others learned their first steps and happily walked their first path into their parents arms. a very young Buffward was stomping each foot just so in crouching form, hands on his knees and eyes narrowing into a challenging focus that dared to gaze upon his mother’s Lickitung in very contest of Sumo battle….. over what remained a question.

But battle they did with the young Buff steadfast in his desires to see victory of said Pokémon. Toddler speaking rambles of swearing he’d not be bested by the cheating antics of that giant tongues licking to throw him off guard and balance. And so, he’d time and time again challenge any and all Pokémon on that dojo to battles in that very holy of grounds. He was very dense as a child and unknowing of better yet sharpened his skills and added to his ever growing strength and firm stance of feet that would someday be nearly impossible to move by mere and most means. Less, he allowed for it. But yes, while others learned their first steps, Buff was wrestling and challenging lickitungs, Munchlaxs and many other kinds of Pokémon to honored battles and hotly contested battles….. Well, least according to legend they were hotly contested. Though it’s likely Buff only improved and got stronger with every encounter.

As the boy grew older, the size and evolutions of Pokémon faced also grew. While the teachings of the Heavy-Strong method also came to be instilled harshly and lovingly so, ensuring their young pupil and descendant would grow into a strong, fine and morally honorable, respectable man. Thus the Code was forever instilled into his very being.

It wasn’t until Buff met his chosen partner and deemed fit of Pokémon was he met with a challenge that baffled his young mind. Maddy ‘Matilda’ sometimes also called Tilda, and Bazz with the approval and assistance of a visiting Professor Elm brought forth a young Makuhita to pair with the young man when his day came. This baby Makuhita was stubborn, proud and not accepting of the young Buff…. He refused to accept this boy as a partner. Sighting he was too weak and unworthy of his respect. Buff meanwhile attempting to proudly accept and win over the young Pokémon became quite at a loss…. It was the first time since his earliest of walking days had he been seen as weak or inferior to another in such ways. But he was nothing if it determined!!!

Rather annoyed and offended at this young Pokémon’s seeming opinion of him and determined of mind and will to change it. Buff challenged the Makuhita to battle! Enduring any and all it would throw at him in attempts to win over the Pokémon and earn its respect. By damned!!! He would achieve it and they would all believe it!!! Day after day, challenge after challenge these two fought time and time again. The Pokémon even breaking the rules and using his moves against the young child-human yet still Buff wouldn’t be deterred from his path. He’d only rise and stand even firmer in his ground to challenge again before the battle was called.

Time and time again over many days would this occur. Iron will and fire forged bonds through heated battle brought forth and sharpened this pairing…. Despite how it began, it ultimately forged a unbreakable spirit and bond between them as eventually each side had worn down and the Makuhita came to not only respect Buff, but admire and readily agreed to accept him as his partner and the same in turn from Buff as each nodded firmly and as a matter of factly to one another below that hot sun settling into dusk and fiery contested battles waned between one another that day. While Professor Elm, Tilda and Bazz Biffington looked on with smiles and shared approval of the display and forging of bonds.

Thus was the beginning of Buff the Stuff and Makuhita….. the legend would only continue….

The early years of Buff and Makuhita were filled with hopes and dreams fueled by fiery passion. They trained, worked towards daily goals and pushed each other day after day both desiring becoming champions of the Sumo League. They were of constant and steadfast friendship, bond that led them across a vast array of emotions and comical moments. Such as when they added to their team with a young munchlax through a contested battle that was rather unique in its own right. A fight over food, a battle of short but round future heavyweights that almost seemed endless but ultimately the battle was over and that very Munchlax shared the food in defeat and capture

Bonds were expanding, the group was growing and the fight for food was only the beginning with this Munchlax. Yet through great efforts daily to get the Pokémon to work and stay motivated, Buff never gave up in his efforts to help make Munchlax into a future champion. Fully committing himself to getting physically involved with the training and with Makuhita’s assistance the trio were becoming a strong if young team.

Yet still, that wasn’t the only partner to the team. Between daily training sessions and dojo responsibilities Buff and his growing squad added a lazy but potentially strong Slakoth. The toughest and most frustrating yet to inspire towards greatness and champion caliber Pokémon. But one of the friendliest creatures he had come across…. When it was actually awake and paying attention. It was this Pokémon that Buff felt most determined since his Makuhita to win over and get moving onto the path to Heavy-Strong greatness.

Over this period Buff would go onto adding both a Sawk and later a Throh. Perhaps the easiest to train from a motivation standpoint but a struggle in their own right to prove his worth for their respect and joining his squad full time.

A squad full of male Pokémon that would see the addition of Hawlucha. A female fighting type Pokémon that shared a flying types traits. She was by far the smallest of the group, yet her fight and determination, the heart of this Pokémon captured Buff’s attention and awakened a soft spot for the Hawlucha, a Pokémon that matched his own determination and passion of heart. So, even if he couldn’t get her into the sumo league events or least not as many perhaps. He was overwhelmed with joy to have her join the team.

mysteryxio mysteryxio Will you be making an intro for Orion before we start moving on to the next day once Friday irl comes around?

I would like to know just in case you are still interested in the RP or not.

Is this still open to newcomers? I just completed my dex for the first time since I was a little Generation 1 lad and I've been on a Pokemon tear lately, so this caught my eye!

Gender: Male

Career Path: Physician

IMG_1046.jpg

Personality: Andy is, before anything else, defined by his drive. He is deadset on the goals he creates for himself and little can dissuade him from doing everything in his power to reach them. Often, though, he's his own biggest obstacle. Andy can often come across as rude, or at times downright hostile, due to a one-track mind that has little tolerance for people he might consider distractions or that he doesn't feel are pushing themselves to their highest ability. It has served him well in scholarship, but left him with few close friends.

The callousness he can project himself with contrasts starkly with his kind features paired with a love for Pokemon that present a type of care he struggles to project himself. Syd and Cricket seemingly, do their best to offset his hard edges. Agatha, by contrast, seems unbothered.

Background: The steam, sweat, oil and gears of Motostoke encapsulated Andy's formative years better than anything he could imagine. Andy himself credits most of his character to the culture he grew up in: always innovating, grinding forward like the towering machines and smokestacks that power Galar, industriously reaching for new heights, always.

His family was never rich, but always hard working - his father spent long shifts, day in and day out, working his fingers to the bone in the Galar Mine. For her part, Andy's mother spent most of his childhood working odd jobs to support the household and put herself through school to become a nurse at the local Pokemon center, a girlhood dream of hers.

Seeing his parents' drive scarcely rewarded lit a fire under Andy, and that manifested itself in his unwavering devotion to school as a youngster. Like almost every kid in Galar, he harbored dreams of making his way in the world through Pokemon battles, becoming the next legendary Galarian champion. However, the idea of battling and training with that single goal seemed... wasteful. He much preferred the idea of finding a way to help people while giving his parents a more relaxed life, one they deserved. He gravitated toward the medical field as a clear path to both before he even received his first Pokemon, a wounded Woobat his father discovered in the mine. Andy and his family nursed the Pokemon back to health and his parents decided to let him keep it.

His parents' daily grind and his own dedication meant that, eventually, they'd came upon the money to send him to Johto, one of the best options he had for continuing his schooling. Andy struggled to express it to them, but he fully intends to soar through everything the academy asks of him to secure the life he knows his family deserves and eliminate the obstacles in his path, or any distractions along the way. Both of his parents urged him to take the edge off of the intensity he's approached his goals with, though the advice doesn't seem to have landed just yet.

Anakisuto Anakisuto the Johto Academy is just within Violet City, and the Safari Zone is all the way across the Johto region :'D so unless she went with everyone on the plane trip on August 16, she wouldn't have been able to see Joss.

Welp now I feel like an idiot. I know about every dang region except for Johto lol.

Oh no xD but yeah, if you just mention her having gone to the Safari Zone with everyone else, then it's fine. Although, no Pokemon past the Safari Zone gate, pretty sure they have safety measures against that :'D

Anakisuto Anakisuto the Safari Zone is a huge swath of land dedicated to keep nearly extinct Pokemon safe. If they let a kid through from the back, that means that they have shit security, which they do not. She would get kicked out if she didn't get through the front gate and possibly fined.

If you did intend on her getting into even more trouble by bringing in her Pokemon which she can't do and sneaking through (which means poachers would be able to enter easily), then uh... ggs XD

I'd assume she told security about her Wigglytuff sneaking in and they let her in. She may or may not have been lying about it to make herself look cool to Joss.

Name:Victoria Valentinaxinyan.jpg
Stage Name: V V the Burning Valentine
Age:19
Team: Ignite
Gender: Female
Hometown: Born in Lavaridge, raised in Lilycove
Career Path: Contests/Performer
Appearance: Xinyan from Genshin Impact, credit for art is in the image.(magion02)
Personality: Victoria is more stubborn than a tauros, and has a battery that could overcharge any electric type. Her fiery passion makes her the type to commit to a single task until she is satisfied, which can result with limitless frustration when things dont go well. She may snap in the moment, but there's nothing she can't forgive or forget after a good rest. She is really blunt and enjoys to tease and joke with people, but makes sure to let them know she cares at the end of the day. Her love for performing is only rivaled by the crew of pokemon that supports her, and she is the type to not be afraid to unashamedly run towards a seemingly impossible goal.
Background: Victoria was born to Oscar and Vanessa Valetina. Her mother thought it would be cute to keep the double Vs in the name and that is how she ended up with her name. Her father's job was actually to be one of the trainers that would challenge you in the fire gym leading to the gym leader, while her mother worked at the local hot springs. As a result, Victoria, or "VV", as her father would call her, would spend plenty of time both socializing with people and watching battles from both the gym leader and her father. She even befriended a local lotad, and named him Blast, after that one word she would always hear at her father's gym. At the time everyone thought the name was rather ironic, giving the type. It wasn't long until she found herself participating in battles of her own, initially being disappointed by her Lotad's lack of cool fire moves. Still, she found herself enjoying when people would watch her battle, even if she lost. All was well, or at least they were. Unfortunately, (at least at the time it was) after a few years, her family relocated to Lilycove city. This was the first time in her life she had really felt down in a way that she couldn't keep her lively attitude. No more cool fire fights, in fact, there wasnt many cool fights at all. With Lilycove's lack of gyms, the entertainment was just not the same as what it was back in Lavaridge. Her mother, noticing her disappointment in the city, decides to take VV out one night, and takes her to Lilycove's biggest attraction, the Contest Hall. That night, even her Lotad was having trouble cheering her up. But as soon as the lights dimmed, the wand in her hand lit up, as did the wands of everyone else in seats around her. She thought it was interesting, and it peaked her curiosity. Then BAM, a spotlight appears on the stage, then another! Then yet another! Soon there are four spotlights, introducing trainers and their companions. Then, the first one begins to perform and oh my Arceus. The show she first saw was of a woman with a Milotic and a couple other water pokemon, dancing a serene dance that had her drooling like a slowpoke. Then, the crowd began to chant in support, which she began to do as well. But that wasn't all, the next performer was a man with a sceptile using the gusts leaves and branching trees as supports to swing around and make fascinating movements. The sensation she felt was something nothing beforehand had come close to. In that moment the little ember that kept her going up until that moment camerupted into a frenzied fire that would never be contained again. The choreography, the music, the pokemon, the crowd, it had her in a bind no seviper could ever hope to match. Up until then, she believed the sensations she loved from battling was the fight itself, but it didn't explain why she didn't mind losing. But in that moment, both her and her mother understood. What she liked, was putting on a show. From that moment on, VV became more than her father's nickname for her, it became her stage name, the name she would make a name for herself in and become a legend. To reach this goal, she found herself leaving home, going on a small journey to search for fiery pokemon, and promptly finding herself at the Johto Academy.
