As Riley waited for Dante to reply she felt a presence beside her and turned just in time to hear him introduce himself. Riley couldnt help but laugh at his reference of the mansion as a party house "Sounds like my kind of place" She looked around the room slightly again, she couldnt wait to actually party in this house, everyone she had met so far seemed really nice, she hoped it stayed that way and that the rest she hadnt met yet were nice also. "Nice to meet you Leo, I'm Riley, I dont know if yous have met already but this is Dante and Walter" She said motioning to them in turn, Riley was delighted she could remember their names

Wesley chuckled at Roxie and said," Yeah I am actually from Alabama born and raised. The draw was a dead give away wasn't it?" He then smiled and toiled the drink and after thanking her he downed the it within a second. After he set the glass down with a clink he surveyed the room looking at along the new comers and thought that this was gonna be really fun then noticed and turned back to Roxie and said," Were still down a person. Let's hope they get there here soon so we can really get the party started." Wesley then moved his stuff out of the way to the corner of the bar to be out of the way. Wes moved behind the counter after he did going behind Roxie. He was starting to feel a bit peckish so he grabbed an apple and after washing it he looked over at Roxie and couldn't help, but laugh a bit as the others were all mingling together. He didn't want to interrupt any of there conversations so he began one with Roxie and started it by asking," Honest option one southerners to another," that caused hm to laugh a little," how do you feel bout all this? Like how do you think this is gonna go?" He knew he'd get a chance to talk to everyone else, but wondered how he'd ever beak the ice. He puts on a good show, but these things always made him super nervous even if it didn't show.

Luis was excited. Watching the condo roll into view from the back of the taxi, a grin split over his face. There was no nerves or anything when thinking about meeting the other people he'd be spending the summer with. No, there was excitement! He was going to make friends in his age group! Maybe find a girlfriend or boyfriend! He was going to party and drink and smoke and not have to worry about a thing in the world the entire time! Luis had to keep breathing deeply to keep himself from hyperventilating in excitement. Stepping out of the taxi, he pulled his duffel out of the back and slung it over his shoulder. Checking his pocket to see that he still had his pre-rolled blunt there, and the lighter in the other pocket, he strode up the pathway to the front door and solidly knocked on the door. "Anyone home?" he called a second later, leaning over to glance in a window and see if he could see anyone inside. The place was huge - perhaps they had already started a party?

Not waiting any longer after just thirty seconds, Luis gripped the doorknob and turned, surprised to find it unlocked. "I'm home!" he called out jokingly, opening as he stepped inside. Grinning, he shouldered his bag and looked about. The place was huge! There was definitely not going to be a problem with smoking around here. Should he take off his shoes? Should he start claiming a room? Uncertain, he stood awkwardly in the entrance area, closing the door behind him.

Leo had a goofy smile on his face as he nodded while listening to his Riley introduce him to the other two guys. "Nice to meet you Dante, Walter." He looked the two of them over to make sure he'd be able to call out them later on. The drinking and casual conversations kind of made Leo miss being with his rowdy friends back home. His train of thought stopped once a new boy burst into the door and announced that he was home. It reminded him a lot of himself and he happily walked over to the new roommate and threw his arm across his shoulder, "Welcome to the House of Party and Fun bro. My name's Leo, good to meet you."

Luis grinned when Leo slung his arm over his shoulder. "Hey there, Leo! The name's Luis," he stated, patting Leo's back heartily before swinging his own arm around Leo's shoulder. "Good thing parties and fun is what I came here for," he chuckled. "Speaking of, we should throw something like a housewarming party tonight. Throw some inflatables in the pool, break open a few bottles... Y'know, get to know each other better and settle in."

Suddenly aware of his duffel bag awkwardly bumping against his side, he retracted his arm and started shrugging it to the ground to give his shoulder a break. "Before that, though, did anyone start to claim rooms yet?" Despite being causal about it, Luis wanted to get a feel for the people here, see who he could room with and perhaps do some smoking with while they're there, late at night when Luis had trouble sleeping. So far, Leo seemed like a good candidate. He seemed friendly and outgoing enough...

Skylar smiled and shook her head slightly, as Marnie stuttered an okay response to the idea of rooming together. "Cool", she simply responded. She was happy she'd found a roommate, but maybe it would take some time before Marnie really opened up. Skylar thought the conversation might get bland if she tried to spark up a conversation with her, or maybe she wouldn't want anyone to speak to anyone for a while. With this thought, Skylar looked around the room, taking count of everyone that had arrived. Nine all together, so one person had yet to show up. Just as she had thought that, a voice called out and soon enough the last person had arrived. Turning her head towards the door, she watched as one of them went to greet the newcomer. Immediately she had a weird kind of feeling when her eyes fell on Luis. A good feeling, that she couldn't really place. He almost had a glow to him that she didn't see with any of the other people in the house. Luis was his name. 'Okay, I'll have to remember that,' she thought. She cursed herself in her head when he asked someone to room with him. She should have waited to ask him. She wasn't really sure why she was keen on him, the feeling just came to her. She sighed lightly, as she turned her head back to the rest of them.

Riley heard the sound of the door open and someone shouting their home. She laughed as she turned around, this kid definitely had spirit and she liked that. She watched as Leo made his way over to the boy, who introduced himself as Luis. God there was so many names she had to remember but shed worry about that at a later stage. "Hi, Im Riley" She introduced herself to Luis "And thats a very good question, I dont have a room yet" She stated before looking around the room "has anyone picked rooms yet?" She asked although she wasnt sure if anyone would hear her as they all seemed to be talking to one another

Marnie moved and leaned up over the counter on her elbows, resting her chin in her hands. She had kinda assumed this would happen, everyone would easily find conversations and she'd end up well, quiet and on her own. She internally cursed at herself for not having the courage to jump into an conversation like the pretty brunette chatting with three of the guys or Wesley finding an ease in starting a conversation with Roxi. The meek girl bit her lip, straightening up a bit when the finial member of the house stepped in a loudly called out causing the dancer to jump slightly, watching as he quickly began speaking to a boy she had heard introduce himself as Leo. Sighing, Marnie moved to the fridge getting out another cooler, maybe with more alcohol she'll have an easier time talking to the loud group.

Roxanna Hayes ​

Roxie smiled slightly at Wesley as he admitted he was from Alabama. "Yeah, kinda. Every state has their own dialect, you know?" she replied with a shrug. Another guy had arrived, and Roxanna took full assessment of all of the people. Everyone seemed quite different, from different backgrounds and different parts of the world. Roxie wondered how all of these people would mesh, being stuck together for three months in one house. Granted, it was a big house, but they would all run into each other at some point or another. When Wes seemed to echo her thoughts, Roxie turned her gaze back to him. "I don't know, I think that it'll be hard for people to live together at first. We're all different and what not. But I think it will turn out okay for most of us."

Roxanna looked up as the shy dark-haired passed her, heading towards the fridge for another drink. Roxie took a deep breath and forced herself to talk to her, no matter how anxious it was making her. "Hey, you don't want that," she said as friendly as possible, pointing to the wine cooler, "It's mostly watered down juice with a splash of alcohol. Here, let me make you something." Roxie turned and went back to the built-in bar section, grabbing blue curacao, vodka, white rum, and the simple syrup. From the fridge, she took the lemon juice, pineapple juice. After rinsing the shaker, Roxie measured the ingredients by eye, pouring them into the shaker then shaking it. She split the new drink among three glasses, handing one to Marnie and one to Wes, keeping one to herself. "I think I'll call this the Blue Hawaii," she said with a smile, taking a sip of the drink.

When someone else approached him, Luis turned to look towards the girl. "It's nice to meet you, Riley!" he greeted with a smile and a wave, way too casual for anything like handshake. Rolling his shoulders out, he picked up his bag again, leaning it on a foot and against his leg, not wanting the duffel bag to take up too much room in the walkway. He spotted a girl looking towards him, and flashed her a signature grin, though it was a bit more goofy than he would have liked. Yeah, sobering up for the flight out here had been a bit of a hell, and now that he could finally get his drug in his system again, he was so much more elated than normal. Plus, being in a big house was helping his mood greatly.

Walter walked away from the pack and sat at the bar, he didn't mind talking, but he'd just flown 11 hours and he was jet lagged to crap, he quickly yelled over the noise "I'M TAKING A SHORT NAP!!" He doubted anyone heard, but he walked to a lounge chair outside and pulled out his phone and read a bit of his book, he looked back at the group, everyone was talking and having fun, while he was alone and sleeping. "Ah well, I kinda need the nap." And he dozed off quickly.

Leo accepted Luis immediately and was instantly reminded of his old buddies that he grew up with. He seemed pretty chill and like a man that knew how to have a good time and he was all for a welcoming party to get to know everyone a little better. Once Luis removed his arm, Leo played with a stray hair that had escaped his bun before answering Riley's question. "I'm not sure if we've officially decided on rooms since I just put my stuff in a random empty room. If there's some sort of living arrangements then I wouldn't mind moving around.

The blonde giggled slightly as she saw the new comers goofy grin, her face going red as she realized he caught her staring and analyzing. She then went a little tense from surprise and nerves as she heard Roxis voice from next to her, straightening up and moving to shake her head to tell the girl it wasn't nessicary but she had already started making the drink so she put the cooler back and watched, slightly mesmerized by how graceful the tattooed girl mixed the drink. When the drink was done Marnie gingerly took the glass offered to her, giving Roxi a small smile. "Th-thanks..." the girl then brought the drink up to her lips taking a long drink before bringing it back down. It packed a bit more of a punch that a cooler definitely. The meek girl felt a bit better already, giving the two southerners shy smiles.

Skylar half-smiled, seeing Luis' grin, wether it had been intended for her or not. She still felt a bit out of place since everyone was engaged in some conversation, but instantly had an idea when Walter exclaimed he would be taking a nap. A sly grin appeared on her face as she slid off the kitchen stool and outside towards Walter's napping chair. Leaning over, she waved her hands to make sure he really was asleep. Perfect. Quickly she turned and ran across the sand towards the ocean. Talking was alright, but she had to make it more interesting and fun at least for her own sake. Once she reached the beach, she squatted down searched for any little thing she could find. Her eyes scanned the sand for rocks and shells. Hastily, she threw them in her make-shift bag, which happened to be the bottom of her shirt. A few buttons and twigs were among other things that she threw in, as well. When her shirt basket was filled with little gems, she stood back up and walked back towards Walter. She placed the objects around the chair first and then on Walter himself. Gently, she placed them on his arms and gradually working up towards his head. All the while, she was attempting to be careful as to not wake Walter. Still, she couldn't help but let out a giggle or two.

Walt jolted awake when he realized he had something on his arms 'What the.... OI" he shouted at the person standing over him "The hell you think you're doing??" If that didn't get peoples attention he didn't know what would. it came to him that it was a harmless joke "Sorry if I scared you" Walter said with an apologetic smile. Walt felt bad, but still, don't wake people from naps. Ugh he felt horrible.

THE BEGINNING

There was one girl who introduced herself as very first. "I'm Riley, it's an amazing house isn't it?" She asked. Amazing was a word to describe it, but this mansion was even more than just amazing. The architecture of the building was interesting to see, same goes for the interior. Dante hadn't seen much yet but could already state that this was really expensive. "I've only seen the hall and the kitchen so far, but this is incredible already." Dante chuckled as he looked around once more. He was planning on doing a mini tour by himself soon. Not long after he finished his sentence another guy approached the two. "Welcome to the party mansion, my name is Leo. Nice to meet you." A grin was Dante's reply, partying was fun of course so he guessed that wasn't going to be much of a problem here. Alright, Leo and Riley were the names he had to remember so far. Walter got added to that list after Riley introduced him also. The three already seemed to be different types of people so he wondered how the others would be.

Walter went for a nap, Riley and Leo were off to greet the other newcomer. If Dante heard it right his name was Luis. But for now, he decided it was a good timing to check at least the view out. He made his way over to the wall filling windows and took a moment to let his eyes explore the back'yard'. Honestly, he couldn't wait to jump in either the pool or the ocean. Or just to get outside actually. On the left of him were so far three other people he hadn't seen yet. Better to socialise than to wonder off alone for now so he made his way over and leant against the kitchen counter. "Sorry to interrupt, but I haven't introduced myself yet to you guys. I'm Dante, nice to meet you." Dante said with a light smile on his face. The girl seemed to be good with drinks, so a straight guess was that she was either a bartender or someone who was interested in drinks in general. The other girl seemed to be a bit of the opposite of this girl, more shy. The guy seemed to be a social guy from what he could see.

Roxanna Hayes ​

Roxie bit her lip, internally hoping the girl liked the drink. She hated disappointing a tone, even strangers. After the girl smiled, Roxie nodded and took a sip of her own drink. After being a bartender for so long, she enjoyed coming up with new drink recipes like this one. It was inspired by their location obviously, and the pretty blue color of the ocean. Roxie started to feel the effects of the alcohol, it calmed her nerves and allowed her to relax a bit. Her anxiety drifted away, and she felt relieved. "You're welcome, Marnie," Roxanna replied with a grin. Maybe the two of them could be friends.

Roxie looked up as another guy walked over to them. He looked like the ocean/surfing type. Hopefully that meant someone else here would go surfing with her. She grew up skateboarding, and after she moved to LA, she fell in love with surfing too. "Hi Dante, I'm Roxie," the bartender said with a wave of her hand. "And this is Marnie and Wes," she added, gesturing to each of them as she said their names. "So what are you most excited for here?" Damn, she really was coming out of her shell. Roxie always kept up her tough, slightly intimidating exterior, but it was new for her to freely talk to strangers like this.

Sophia's taxi finally made it's destination. Sophia was in such a hurry since her fight was delayed. Once she took a glance at the house she was in awe. "Ahem" her taxi driver said, cutting Sophia out of her trance. After gawking at the house she walked up to the house. Suddenly a bunch of thoughts came to her mind. 'What if they don't like me? THE BEGINNING

"Hi Dante, I'm Roxie," Was the way she introduced herself, and quickly after also how she introduced Marnie and Wes. The hand gesture brought the attention to a few of her tattoos she had there. He couldn't see them well enough yet though, but he was sure there would be another moment to just observe. "So what are you most excited for here?" What was he most excited for here.. That was a good question since he wasn't even sure what they all had planned out here. Moreover, if there was anything planned at all. "Visiting this island was exciting already" Dante replied as he rubbed the back of his neck. The fact that he had seen many countries didn't make it less exciting. "But honestly? I'm the most excited to get into that ocean." He admitted slightly embarrassed. He didn't want to seem like he didn't want to be around them all, it was just his natural habitat. New things to explore. "What about you guys?" he asked, also looking quickly over at the other two. He didn't want to take over while they were having a conversation earlier before.

Before they could even answer there was a sound of shouting coming from the hallway. Probably the last person of this trip. Walter already made his way over there so Dante was sure the person would appear soon.

Roxie nodded with another smile, agreeing with Dante about the water. She had seen the water on the drive in, but had yet to actually touch it. "I can't wait to get out there on some waves. I saw a surf shed near the beach on the drive in," she responded. She glanced over to Wes and Marnie as Dante asked them as well. She sipped down the rest of her drink, barely heading the familiar chime of a doorbell. It seemed as though no one had heard it, so Roxanna decided to check it out.

After pulling open the door, Roxie was met by the friendly face of a bicycle mesaenger. "Delivery for the Contest Winners!" he chirped, handing her a manilla envelope. Roxie nodded without saying a word, and shut the door behind her. Seeing as everyone was still chatting, Roxie whistled loudly like her father taught her to call fort cattle back on the farm. "Hey everyone! We've got a letter," she said, carefully opening the envelope and reading it aloud. "Good afternoon, winners! We hope you are enjoying your new home and finding it to your liking. In order to celebrate your arrival, we have set up a full-fledged luau party for you down on the private beach. There will be alcohol, a full service bar equipped with a bartender, and a chef with servers cooking Hawaiian classics for your dinner. So put on your swim suits and head down to the beach! Sincerely, the Contest Association."

Riley turned as she heard some girl whistle. Riley smirked as she realised how effective the whistle was as everyone stopped talking and turned their attention to the girl talking. Riley grinned as the letter was read out, a luau party sounded amazing and it was perfect for their first night there. "Woo Partaay" She said as she did a little kind of happy dance. As everyone continued to chat Riley found this to be the perfect time to try and find a room, she grabbed her bags and walked around to the bedrooms. Riley passed 4 rooms with bags and luckily found a room with no bags in it. Well this is mine now, she thought as she walked into the room and dumped her luggage on the bed closest to the window. Riley rooted through her luggage and pulled out the first bikini she could find along with a pair of denim shorts as she was unsure if people were actually going to wear bikinis and swimsuits. Riley decided it was a bit to risky to get changed in the room incase anyone came in and so she moved to the bathroom to get changed and tie up her hair.

Luis was just about to say something, when a girl walked in very similarly to his own entrance. He grinned at her, but held his ears when someone whistled loudly. He cringed, but turned to her, listening as she read the letter stating there was going to be a luau just for them. "Alright, luau!" he whooped, cupping one hand like a megaphone over his mouth and shaking a celebratory fist in the air. He gave Leo a pat on the shoulder. "Looks like the organizers are one step ahead of me, huh?" he joked, hefting his bag up again. "You mind if I throw my stuff in your room or whatever?" he asked, starting to head towards the stairs heading up to the bedrooms.
