The last thing you remembered was dozing off into a deep sleep, and your brain finally settles enough to fire off all those pesky transmitters that are responsible for dreams and nightmares alike. Except this time it feels different, distorted, like you're actually there, you can move your hands, wave them in front of your face, even blink on command. You however cannot move. You are forced to stare at the single image ahead of you.
A door.
As you realize the door is somewhat recognizable, the details around it spring to life as if your dream realized it didn't have enough time to send ominous warnings and instead dove right in. The sense of deja vu fills your brain at the sight before you.
You barely have time to register your 'aha' moment when you wake up in the same place you remember falling asleep. Just a weird dream. Except, you have an obligation this morning! You better hurry, as Headmaster Ambrose had requested you to be one of his new students. He had explained that three others will also be with you on your journey. You've heard from other students that some loved the groups they were paired with, as if they were meant to be. Others...Not so much. It was just about rolling the dice at this point and hope that the hand of destiny would stretch your way just this once.
