Personality: Chiyo is boisterous and rather loud, she wants the respect she feels a god deserves even if she is now a god of curses. She tries to maintain a noble attitude and speaks down to others though she is childish and easily bribed . She is easily surprised and doesn't really trust humans anymore, though she will never admit this as it is not noble to be scared.
Brief History (If you'd like): Chiyo was once an influential land deity, however she let Amatsu Mikaboshi talk her into pranking Amaterasu. The prank went down perfectly, but Amatsu Mikaboshi had made it seem she was solely at fault. Amaterasu enraged for being made a fool of punished Chiyo cursing her into a god of curses, pestilence, poverty, and madness. Chiyo was then sent back to the world and in time her followers once loyal turned on her finding a powerful wandering priest to help seal her away. They did so with little problem and she was sealed in a stone coffin and buried deep in the earth and forgotten.
Fast forward to about 6 months ago The coffin was found underneath a certain dining establishment that been plagued with problems that culminated in one of the employees abducting and killing multiple children and burying to appease the voices in his head. Well while looking for the bodies hey found that either he or someone else had dug a very deep spiraling tunnel deep into the grounds. It was down there they found the coffin… and the kids.
They opened up the coffin 2 months ago after moving it to a safe location having found some of its seals had weakened and evil energy as they called it was leaking. That location is no longer safe until it is fully rebuilt and properly blessed, but hey they freed Chiyo who after giving a villain monologue found herself surrounded and gave up. After moving Chiyo every where she has stayed has been plagued with problems, though luckily no more madness, and they really want to dump her off on someone. So they enrolled her in the extra species exchange program.
Likes: praise, being respected, sweet offerings, shrines, some modern technology.
Dislikes: being treated like a kid, being seen though, most modern technology, the sun, being scared, thunder.
