Fandom Infamous: Repercussions

[Mist Demon]

The doors to the stolen DUP armored troop carrier slammed open, as the Demon jumped out of the driver's seat. He had somewhat parked the large truck on the sidewalk and on top of what use to be a fence right outside a house in the Neon district.


"Get out"


Zabuza ordered to his two sires that were in the back, Jacob and Dante, as their eyes glowed momentarily right before they were forced to exit the carrier.


The three of them were now standing in front of the building that Zabuza had sired Xavier in, and where they had encountered Shadow. Just as promised, Xavier had left a trail to follow him.


"We're leaving the truck behind and following the trail"


Was all the Demon muttered.

Most of that info about who they are is stuff I would have figured out, now how about you tell me more about this Xaiver. Oh, and I think I owe you a favor. "A favor huh? I'll make sure to collect. And no no, see, now we're even. Even if you would've found it later, you found it out sooner. Now we're even. If you want more, you're gonna have to say more." Shadow says, putting his hands behind his back.

"Shadow, he just told you more than the FFA knows"


"It's fine Shard, there's one thing the FFA knows, that may be of interest to him. But in return, I want EVERYTHING you know about Xavier currently, and more when you get it, because this is huge.

Xavier was watching Shadow speak to two more conduits. Oh great, more people, and conduits, probably... Xavier was watching through one of the rats he conjured, the other rats were patrolling the vicinity, on the watch for Zabuza, or any others. Xavier leaned back into the corner of the warehouse, sighing. Ever since he had been sired, Xavier wasn't really in a good mood. The fact that he was a complete slave to Zabuza's every command was depressing, let alone terrifying. Notwithstanding his current cirumstances, Xavier was more calm than he had expected, in fact, he felt like he was being part of something.


Xavier began typing some code in. It would be best if they got ready, in case Shadow gets into a conflict with them.

Max mentioned there were private rooms if sphinx wanted to talk about what happened on the walk with him. He knows.


 
Shadow sighs. "You tell me first. I have to know exactly HOW big this news is. Tell me and I'll tell you." Shadow said growing imaptient. He hadn't been having this conversation for long. Him and two conduits, Null and Shard. They were on shaky ground as is, due to the pair being allies with both a member of his faction and the FFA. They were trading info, as Shadow needed info on the FFA and Null needed info on... everything, haven been unconscious for god knows how long because god knows why.

 

[Netherdragon]

"This isn't info about the FFA, it's about my powers. It's my one, weakness if you'd even call it that. That big enough for you?"


"Null, don't be so hasty, we need more than information. Shadow, I know this is a bit of a stretch, but can we have Nil for good? this is a big piece of info, and it's worth more than just more information."


"Fair point, Shard, Shadow, lets work on some trade details for this information, considering how large of an impact it can cause."

 

[UnwantedTruth]

Sphinx smiled a little, getting a little teary. "I...I...I just want him to be happy...no matter what has to happen....even if he's not happy with me....he likes Shard, so I'm gonna help them..." She said with a sigh.

 

[Assailant]

Nil walks by right as he hears this. He stops and stares at Null.


"Null, is that-"


"Yes, it is. Now, you want Nil? I can't just give him away, he's my right hand man. Otherwise I have smokescreen and while he's cool, he's not quite... I don't know. Nil permanently? No. Borrow him? Sure. More than that, no."

 

[Netherdragon]

He's the counterpart of Max, he'd be a nice addition. Besides, think about the info you are getting here. If not Nil, then who would you be willing to offer. I heard something about a shadow called #3 or something?

 

[Assailant]

(Actually, w've been through this before, but let's do it again.)


Max hugs Sapphire. "That's very mature of you. I feel this won't work out. One day Shard is going to break Felix's heart. You'll have to be there for him. Can you do that?"


Things had gone from chaotic in the FFA to more... soap opera-y. See, Sphinx has the giant crush on another conduit in their group named Felix. However, Felix is completely ignorant of this, and while on a walk he revealed to her he had a crush on a conduit named Shard. Not fun, especially since Max didn't quite trust Shard. But love is blind... really blind.


 
Shadow went wide eyed. "Yeah, no way in hell I'm trading three. She's far too valuable." Shadow notices a mouse scuttling nearby, and promptly kills it. "I hate mice. Anyway, what else could you want... you sure you don't want more info?"

 

[Netherdragon]

I just got the rest out of your head while thinking about it, so no. I think I'm good.


Shard High fives Null with smirks on their faces


(I'm tired, and getting kinda weird with my posts xD btw, love line time!!! heres the deal Sphinx loves Felix who loves Shard who loves Null. Just thought that should be put out there.)

 

[Assailant]

Shadow growls. "If you read my mind one more time I will f*cking gut you like a fish!" He then sighs. "Tell you what, how about this. I guarantee your protection from Zabuza if you give me the info."

 

[Netherdragon]

Null:"How will you do this?"


"Ya, and Shadow, that doesn't prevent us from you. Your shadows are somewhat freethinking. We don't want any of them coming after us."

 

[Otakuyaki]

He watched the window belonging to the mouse in Shadow's warehouse display static for a moment, before he closed it. I need something else to spy on him... Damn, wish Zabuza was here right now... It was getting boring and lonely, fast. In the meanwhile... He would need more rats to keep watch on Shadow, especially because their conversation was interesting. Three rats that were scurrying around the outside climbed to watch the conduits inside; two of them entered through cracks, and one of them climbed the pipes. Their conversation echoed through the pipes, he could hear their conversation through the speakers of his computer. "Great, someone new knows about me," On the other hand, this Shadow dude knows next to nothing about me. It didn't matter much, he could see three men entering the field of vision of the rats. They've arrived.

 

[UnwantedTruth]

Sphinx sighed and nodded. "If it ever does happen, I will do all I can to help.....I will....because.....I don't want him to be unhappy...." She said and sighed. "For now, I'm just his friend. His good friend who just wants to help him." She said, smiling a a little.

 

[Assailant]

Shadow laughs. "Oh, they may not be mindless slaves like the sires, but they are very much obedient. If I tell them something as general as 'Don't attack Shard and Null,' then they won't. Simple as that. Also, I have enough men where the only way they'd get to you is through a lot of force. They'd likely die trying." Shadow says with a dismissive wave of his hand. "Hey... do you ever get the feeling you're being watched?"


Max smiles. "And that's all you have to be for him right now. If he needs you to be something more along down the road, than that's what you'll be."

 

[Netherdragon]

Hmph. I think it's time we combined our powers for once. Shard, Shadow, come here.

Shard raises the three off the ground on a crystal mount.

 

[Assailant]

Shadow looks around, able to see the buildings and streets. He did love the view. Then, he saw Zabuza and the gang. "PREPARE THE DEFENSES!!!!" Shadow yelled down as shadows rushed around grabbing weapons and preparing. He makes a shadow dome on top to prevent them from being hurt, and to prevent Zabuza from eavesdropping. "Okay, make this quick, we're in a bit of an emergency."

 

[Otakuyaki]

Xavier watched the three rise off the ground on a crystal mount. Are they moving? It was no matter really, crystals have a surprising weakness.


Xavier went into his directories, opened up some code and ran it, before a window appeared with three text boxes, one for volume, frequency and length, and input variables. A high-pitched frequency was unleashed upon the crystal, resonating with the crystal structure, before the sound suddenly ceased.


Nothing happened.


"That's impossible, nothing?" Xavier murmured, "What are those things?" It's alright, don't panic... You still have many tricks up your sleeve...

 

[Netherdragon]

Ya, I just noticed. Just to be sure, are you ok if the 3 of us flee temporarily? or do you want us to fight?


Shard builds a giant wall of crystal surrounding the warehouse and the Shadow army.


"There, that should hold them for a while to say the least. Don't forget, my crystals are harder than diamond."

Sphinx smiled, wiping her eyes a little. "Alright....I'm gonna go ask him if he needs help cooking or something. Thanks for the whole...emotional help. It must've been boring." She said standing up. She walked into the kitchen and leaned against the door frame. "Need any help, Felix?" She asked cheerfully.

Hayabusa walked around the room, examining his make-shift exercise set, minus the Treadmill that was abandoned by the previous owners of the room. "Bench press. Check. Dumbbell's. Check. Treadmill. Check. I make some more stuff soon." Hayabusa walked over to the bench press, which was really just a broken couch with four cinder blocks holding it up and a metal pole with MORE cinder blocks. He laid on the couch and started to push the bar up and down.

 

[Assailant]

Shadow looked at him and shook hi head. "You may flee, but I am not. If you want to say something, say it fast. I have killing to do."

Felix looked up and smiled. "Yeah, sure! I forgot some stuff. Can you look around to see if anyone left any herbs or something? They may not be necessary, but they'll make it taste much better." He looks into the oven. "So, I've noticed something. You've become awfully more active around me as of late. Any particular reason? No problem, just wondering."


"Also, it's kinda weird. A lot of the old owners' stuff is still here. Like they just disappeared."
