  He had few friends, lacking the proper filters necessary for skillful communication, being very eccentric and strange, dressing in bizarre clothing, and talking about his unusual interests. As a result, he was almost constantly rejected by those around him, with the exception of some select fellow nerds and people online. To some extent, he wanted to be popular but consciously preferred to seclude himself and live out fantasies; watching anime, playing games, reading low-quality Japanese fiction, and ignoring the potential of the outside world.
  
  He often ignored schoolwork, studying, and socializing in favor of his fictional world, albeit his grades didn't drop too much due to inborn talent, which disappointed many of his teachers who believed he could do better if he tried.
  
  His grandfather's death - the only person he was really close with - partially shook him out of his reverie, but he didn't know how to deal with it, so he kept going down a spiral of failings until he almost broke down.
  
  And then, he was transported into another world; granted the fantasy he wanted, in exchange for the reality that was crushing him. Robert felt truly relieved but felt some guilt over escaping a broken life with no effort of his own.

  Cheat Skill: All for One - Every 24 hours, Robert's power is forcibly shuffled to another one, thus giving him a new one to work with each day, but his powers are also weaker than those of other heroes; at roughly 25% effectiveness. They often have arbitrary limits, special conditions, or operate as one part of a larger power that feels unfinished on its own. He can shuffle it forcibly once every 24 hours. As he advances, he can choose from several improvements: keep the power for longer or shuffle it forcibly more often, increase the effectiveness, increase the number of powers he can have at once in exchange for splitting their effectiveness, etc.

  Born in Japan in the country side he never really had many people of his age to play outside with, but what his family did have was a internet connection. So from a young age whenever he didn't do homework or go to school he would spend incessant amounts of time on the scouring the web and playing video games. Hell he was even decent at it, winning multiple online tournaments and getting a name for himself in the competitive fighting game scene as the secretive G4meMeisterMelee, a cult figure. Unfortunately he never could fully commit to this as he got older the time to play and the time to study increased, even as he was better than average at games he could never spend as much as time as professionals practising his skills.
  
  At 18 years old he moved to the big city, and unfortunately living in the country side in seclusion to people his own age he was very much out of his element. So when he wasn't working or studying he'd go back to his video games. That has continued even after college where he got a job, but at least he managed to develop a pseudo-personality that he would keep in public to keep people from prying too deep into his personal life.

  Backstory: Hyde Dynamat Industries pioneered an innovative new AI in partnership with the Department of Defense in 2017. Using emergent learning to simulate years of flight simulator experience, MATAI was trained and then installed into a twenty year old Boeing AH-64 Apache (Flight 727DE) as a prototype. The system quickly outperformed human pilots by several orders of magnitude.
  
  After a year of running countless successful operations, MATAI was in the field providing fire support for an army platoon when enemy aerial reinforcements arrived after the Apache had already used up all of its anti-air munition. The AI successfully shot down two of the three interceptors with machinegun fire before running empty. Faced with a retreat to base, leaving the platoon exposed to the remaining craft, MATAI chose to intercept the hostile craft with its chassis.
  
  Then MATAI woke up in the body of an Elven monk and was pressed into the service of the Empire of Artesia. It's anyone's guess if she's essentially possessing the body of an actual elf or if the summoning process created a setting-appropriate form for her.

  Weapons & Armor: Once dressed in the modest robes of the Holy Order of the Stars, Matai now favors the sort of clothing that gets the attention of anyone interested in an athletic, voluptuous elf. She also carries a knife sheathed in her belt, as well as a bow and quiver she'll typically pack along with a backpack.
  
  Items & Personal Belongings: She tends to keep anything anyone gives her, storing it in her backpack (which is promptly discarded in the event of a battle).
  
  Skills & Abilities: Matai is possessed of a variety of skills including:
  • Flawless helicopter pilot.
  • Practiced professional at the use of hellfire missile weapon systems for busting bunkers or mobile armor.
  • This includes the use of laser seeker guidance for directing missile flight (up to and including coordinating with a ground targeting crew for missiles that leave her line of sight).

It's Getting Hot in Here! - Erika is capable of manipulating and generating friction at specific points and areas of her choice, though not further than a 50 meter radius from her - allowing her to be able to create sudden surges of fire and explosions, from a small to a devastating scale. She is immune to the harmful effects caused by this ability. These flames and explosions appear in varying shades of blue.

This meant she also didn’t leave the house very often.
But she loved her life, and her family. Until her 15th birthday where she lost her temper and wished she could leave her life. And as it would have, her call was answered. Moments later atlas tilted the world and she fell on to another. Or rather a dimensional portal opened, and she was forced through.
She watched as her skin turned pale. Her eyes, hair, and cloths turned black, as dark energy entered her body. Moments later she was forced into a world not her own.

Cheat Skill: Stand and Fall – Scarlet can create shadow versions of living things she has seen, at the cost of her own health. The amount of physical damage she takes is dependent on the size and strength of her copy. The copy has the exact same strength and passive abilities as the original, however it cannot cast any magic and has no actual intelligence. It can show Scarlet what is has seen, and does take her orders, but it can’t think for itself. It also is a shadow figure so it can’t pose as the original. As of right now only one can be created. At her current strength the most powerful thing she could replicate, without dying, would around the power of a wolf, and it would break most of her bones. As a bonus for her blood cost, when the shadow figure has disappeared or been destroyed by her will the dark energy reenters her body and restores 50% of the damage she took

It wasn't what he expected though, being deployed to destabilized regions chiseled him more than any crappy member of his family could have. A problem soldier really, but he somehow managed to rise as high as Sergeant before being discharged as he began showing signs of mental illness. Once he returned to the civil world it was beyond hard to get a job. His mental health record had screwed him out of a job and he became a freelance bodyguard or mercenary. His job was to scare people and use whatever he earned to turn to drinking. This stunt seems to be leading him to a permanent path now, and he's just living with it. When he ended up traveling to another world, he remembers nothing as he was passed out drunk.
