Name: Hans Von Lichtenstein

Branch/Affiliation in the Imperium: Astra Millitarum, Death Korps of Krieg

Rank: Watchmaster

Age: 28

Description: Scars criss-cross his body like a road-map of pain, if one were to see him out of uniform or without his respirator. Like all brother's and sisters in the Death Korps, he is but another faceless soldier, ready and willing to die for the emperor. If you are lucky enough to spy him without his mask, you would find a handsome man, scarred worn, his dark mahogany hair and violet eyes striking. Like many in his company, he is at peak human physical condition, besides the prosthetic left arm.
Hans the Watchmaster screenshot (3).png

Personality: Hans, is a rather morbid and dark fellow, his sense of humor matching as well. Of course you would be too. if you were brought up and indoctrinated to the point where only in death will he find redemption. That and the fact his is living his own personal hell as he is unable to die for the emperor. You see, Being a perpetual, and a Krieger has caused him to snap a little. Always volunteering for what would certainly be a suicide mission, and yet always returning, still relatively whole, the sound of weeping, muffled by his gasmask. After finally snapping and summarily executing his commissar for cowardice (Ironic, i know), he got better. Well relatively, he did get sent on garrison to a pleasure world as punishment.

Background: Hans, like many children of the death world of Krieg, was conscripted at a young age. At the young age of 14, he was trained, indoctrinated, and conditioned in the ways of war. After his 15th birthday, he had been in three combat engagements, each time, surviving with only moderate wounds. Many in the upper echelons saw him as blessed by the emperor, but Hans simply disagreed.
By the time he was 18, he had been promoted to Watchmaster. It was there his life would get interesting. When he was 23 years of age, he and his Regiment along with another Krieg Regiment, four companies of the Death Specter Astartes Chapter, and several macroclades of Skitarii were sent to the would of Yilla, in the Ghoul Stars. Hell isn't even a word to describe the world and fighting. In all his years of service, Hans had never felt so strongly about a battle.
He and his company, while on Yilla, were assigned to safeguard and protect a Techpriestess Magos Domina Vauss. Apparently, despite the difference in philosphy, the two got on quite well. So well in fact, she came to his aid and conviced the brass to not have him executed or sent off to a penal legion when he executed his commissar for cowardice. According the the Magos Domina, the world Yilla had gotten to the commissar, causing him to break and bray, as madness and fear overtook him. After committing the deed, Hans and his company stood their ground and defended their charge. Many fell, and even Hans had taken several mortal wounds that would have killed him several times over, yet he fought, with laspistol and shovel when his shotgun ran out of ammo. It was there both the Magos and the Watchmaster learned of his Blessing/curse. Hans, was a perpetual.
When word reached command of Watchmaster Hans Von Lichtenstein's actions, he was called to court marshall. Despite the Magos sticking up for him, he was still punished, and sent on garrison of a pleasure world. The ghoul Stars were far nicer in his warped opinion. He couldn't get a good night's sleep with the lack of earthshaker rounds impacting the area.

Name: Darak Veltelkan

Rank: Magos. Logi discipline. Info-Executioner. Currently acting as an impromptu Dominus due to the sudden inexplicable insurgency overtaking the system.

Age: 123 (Biological)

Appearance: Darak strikes an intimidating figure, standing a full two and a half meters at his full height. A flowing nest of mechandrites, claws, and other such appendages dot his frame, all covered in the tattered robes denoting a disciple of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Any resemblance to an organic being has long since past, his eyes exchanged for a trifecta of photoreceptors, his very brain engraved with all manner of cyber-hymnals, cryptograms, and data wafer stacks. Despite this, it is clear his combat role is clearly ad-hoc in nature. What weapons the Magos utilizes appears scavenged, improvised. His mechanical form is covered in shoddily applied applique ceramics and stapled on scraps of personal body armor. A far cry from the precision manufactured destroyers of true Mechanicus war machines.

Personality: Darak had helped to oversee all manner of statistical information regarding the hive city ever since he was little. After being passed over by the local gangers, he, alongside a number of other street rats, were swooped up by the local Mechanicus forge. While his fellows labored on production lines, or, if they were lucky, perhaps were apprenticed under a low-level tech-priest. Darak was different. He always had a mind for numbers. A fact which drew him great interest from the forge master. His natural skill was increased ten-fold by augmentations, then twenty-four, a hundred-fold. By the end of the decade, he could rattle off the serial number for every piece of hardware that had ever left the forge. Such skill earned him the position of a Logi within the local heirarchy, one well-respected among the Mechanicus. Production values. Manufactorum output. Future trends and expenditures. Such wisdom could only be obtained from the mouthpiece of the Omnissiah.

His statistical ability was so great that it even earned him great influence among the local PDF, traditional investigations paled in comparison to the computative power of the Omnissiah's chosen.

But Darak could never have predicted the true source of the uptick in violence. Never. A warp incursion?

Impossible.

Personality:

Darak, despite appearances, is indeed far more amicable and friendly than many of his cohorts, even to those outside of the Mechanicus. Particularly strange is his value of human life, and while understanding of the needs and nature of warfare, will nonetheless go out of his way to ensure the survival of non-combatants. Indeed, his forge has become a tiny bastion of Imperial authority in an otherwise ever deteriorating mess of warp-fueled insurgency.

Loadout/Equipment:

Mechandrites: Primarily serving as both his primary means of locomotion and manipulation, recent experience has indicated these hydraulic claws serve just as potent melee weapons

Heavy Stubber: Courtesy of an abandoned PDF defensive position, reinstalled to great use upon one of his many mechandrites.

In-built las-pistol: Installed upon one of his secondary mechandrites as a last-ditch self defense weapon. He never thought it would see so much use...

Grenade Launcher: Similiarly salvaged from a former PDF position, this weapon boasts an impressive anti-infantry capability, even capable of engaging light vehicles with some success.

Las-gun mounts: Two, installed upon secondary mechandrites. Have proven adequate in dispatching the cultist chattel engaged so far.

Improvised armor: Darak has installed numerous ad-hoc armor plates upon his chassis in an effort to increase survivability. This ranges from applique armor torn from the sides of burnt-out armored vehicles to patches of personal flak armor taken from the slain.

Sensory Equipment: While by no means nothing special, especially by the standards of the Mechanicus, his photoreceptors nonetheless give him an unparalleled edge over any non-modified organics when it comes to situational awareness.

Interface Equipment: A wide set of tools allowing Darak to directly interface with a variety of Mechanicus equipment and terminals, while undoubtedly less skilled than some of his brethren, his proficiency is adequate enough that most systems are not particularly unknown too him.

Computational Data-wafer Stack: Where Darak's true talent lies. His already naturally impressive number crunching is increased a hundred fold by these collections of augments, able to crunch complex equations and scenarios in seconds. While primarily retaining to things such as resources and raw materials, recent experience has shown it to be just as capable of running various combat simulations with predicted outcomes, albeit in a rather crude manner

Name: Magos Domina Vauss
Branch/Affiliation in the Imperium: Adeptus Mechanicus
Rank(If appicable): Magos Domina
Age: 538
Description: Vaus Due to her habit of creating mono personalities she actually keeps multiple bodies which the mono personalities pilot assuming noosphere connection can be maintained the two or more bodies can communicate with one another. The two most common personalities are Vauss Primary which has a far more human look, but only has bones left of humanity and vauss tactical which is a hulking war machine clad in white robes with gold trim and bedecked in arcane weaponry.
Vauss primary while looking like she still has skin actually using a synthetic replacement and maintains a human looking face using this body for more mundane and diplomatic tasks along with data processing not involving the battle field. do note ehr robes are white with gold trim not the normal reds and blacks
magos_10.jpg

Personality: Vauss is a bit of and odd tech priest, she still believes completely in the trinity of the machine cult, but she has a much loser interpretation on what is and is not allowable. She doesn't distain emotions as the machine god, the omnissiah, and machine spirits all have emotions so why should she seek to rid herself of hers. in the role of Domina she takes an odd mix of hands on and hands off management, allowing her Skitarii an almost alarm about of personnel judgment, of course this is because she has given the alphas treatments to imprint lesser copies of herself onto them thus trusts their decision making. Yet she also watches and analyzes every movement making constant calculations using both bodies and servo skulls to get a better idea of the battle field. She also has the oddest habit of collecting people, often wanting to take them with her when she leaves and area and reporting them dead if they agree before she makes them into special skitarrii or other such cybernetically enhanced but not mind wiped beings.

Background: Vauss hails from the strange world of Kadath located in the ghouls stars. With records dating back to before the age of strife to the dark age of technology the isolated forge world lies outside the light of the astronomicon, before that second of space was cut off anyways. This is not the only odd thing about Kadath as the world is a gas giant, with the population living on artificial floating islands that are giant refineries of the gases within. In the same system of Yith as Kadath the twin worlds Yuggoth and Shagghi supply it with food and metals along with plenty of asteroid mining stations. This isolated world was actually found during the great crusade and quickly submitted to the imperium almost to fast as if wanting them gone. When the heresy broke out the world was silent and after the heresy claimed ignorance of the heresy due to their remote location. In wars their only notable period was during the pale wasting where their skitarii were only descried as efficient, but not quite right. This ominous description has lead to strange rumors and the aloof nature of the tech priests of the world does not help. There are even many in the mechanicus that whisper of the heresy being common on the world, but these are just rumors.

Vauss was born on this strange world, though born is an incorrect word as natural births are rare instead each one is vat born their genetics carefully scrutinized for something before they are incubated. Still even with this careful genetic scrutiny there is always something not quite right, skin to pale, eyes a bit to big, the Kadath look. Vauss would study the mysteries of the machine, lessons that might perhaps have been a bit to far from the normal othrodoxy of what is and is not tech heresy. Other than that Vauss had a rather noramal life for a tech priest, though she did rocket through the ranks becoming a Magos after only 100 years. She would dedicate herself to the study of combat and command becoming a domina, though she has often indulged in plenty of other studies. As with any Tech priest of rank Vauss would replace more and more flesh with machine, going further than most she has even digitized her mind leaving her with no flesh beyond a few bones.

Much of the actions Vauss has taken part of are only alluded too and kept in Kadath records and were mostly confined to the ghouls stars. She has alluded to fighting aliens that weren't like anything that should exist. With the death specters watching the ghoul stars she has accompanied them on many operations to quell threats that arise, with the Cythor Fiends being a recurring threat. While officially extent Vauss claims they never really left and that even those they think dead might not be so as they don't operate like normal creatures. One notable action was known as the Slaughter of Yilla. The fiends had shown up on a world, not with ships or warp portals, they simply weren't there one day then had over run the world the next. While Yilla was not really inhabited the fiends needed to be contained. Four companies death specter astartes, the skittarii macroclades of Kadath mobilized along with with 2 regiments of the death corps of krieg to deal with the threat. It was during this fighting that Vauss encountered Watchmaster Hans Von Lichtenstein who she noticed despite the odds did not die. She would monitor him and in time find out he always returned from any death. When the watchmaster was being punished for the killing of a commissar Vauss would speak out on his behalf to reduce his punishment.

In recent years Vauss has kept and eye on the Watchmaster, wanting to claim him as a personal test subject, thus she had relocate to be better informed than in the ghoul stars. This has lead to her services being requested upon Dulicinea where her desired test subject has been stationed. any loss is worth satisfying her curiosity so she has come with her own agenda.

Loadout/Equipment:

Refactor field
power spear
Sensor mechdentrites
Kadath pattern eradication beam : A mysterious weapon that shoot a beam of green eldritch energy that destroys foes down to the molecule. Vauss claims it was a gift from a friend.

Name: Magos Explorator Gaius-Alpha-0
Branch/Affiliation in the Imperium: Adeptus Mechanicus
Rank(If applicable): Magos Explorator
Age: 231 (Biological) 752 (Chronological)

Description: Gaius-Alpha-0 is an enigma to most. To most, he is as unexemplary as a low-level tech priest. Yet the more one converses with him, the more conflicted of a person he seems to be. Serving as a Magos Explorator, Gaius has long since abandoned most of his human features. All that remains of his biology is a skeleton, a brain and a collection of a few organs. He is a hulking man, standing at around 2 metres tall and weighing near 500 lbs. His augmentations to his body are extensive, and most can hardly recognize that there was once a man beneath all the metal

MagosExplorator.jpg

Personality: Gaius is an enigma to most. While lacking a voice-box, he speaks using a primitive (and broken) vox augment. It produce a monotone voice and thus prefaces all his speech with the emotion he wishes to convey. He tends to reserve himself and only speak to others when necessary, providing insight and asking a never-ending stream of questions to those around him. His curious mind is constantly seeking to attain new knowledge and improve his calculations of events. Despite his hulking size, Gaius is often quiet and slips around locations without drawing attention towards himself. Many of his fellow Adeptus Mechanicus find him to be unsettling to be around as it is hard to gauge his true intentions. Often, he will act around others in whatever way he calculates can get him what he desires.

Background: Gaius was recruited and trained by the Adeptus Mechanicus of Phindraxius-13, a small forge-world in the Gothic Centre. The curious minds of the Adeptus Mechanicus found sanctuary from the chaos of the universe in their secluded system. A finely crafted system of planet's and exchange systems ensured that no one would be without the supplies they needed. Gaius was the first of his recruit batch to be found, earning him the title of Alpha-0. The first of the first for his group. Alongside his hundreds of brothers and sisters, he grew up in the unique sect of the planet and enrolled into priest-hood. He received training and augments for the most prestigious role in the system, that of the Explorator. The Adeptus Mechanicus of Phindraxius had long since upheld an oath to the Emperor of Mankind to research and understand the far reaches of the empire.

Gaius trained for over a century before leaving on his first expedition towards Mars with his brothers and sisters to provide them with a millennia's worth of data in research. But a warp-storm caught their travelling fleet and flung them off course into the deepest parts of Hell. Beseeched by Demons, the fleet slowly fell one by one. His ship was the only one left stranded after the onslaught. They drifted deeper into the warp, their ship all but powerless. The machine spirits inside fell one by one and the crew had all agreed that death was inevitable.

They drifted for what felt like mere moments before a sudden crackling of electricity spurred the ship back to life. In an instant, daemons of Tzeentch assaulted the ship once more. The crew were too weak to fight, but Gaius-Alpha-0 was not. Receiving a blessed voice from the Emperor, or perhaps the Omnissiah, he felt a well of strength fill him as he held his own against the daemons. The fight was, or felt, short. The ship was ejected from the warp near the world of Elysia. A travelling fleet of Astartes vessels swarmed the ship and quickly cleared the daemon threat. Gaius learned he was the only survivor in the aftermath, and there was little left of him. He was rushed towards Mars, carrying what little data he could salvage on him, and was presented for inspection. After determining he was not corrupted by chaos and could be save, and hearing of his story, he was rushed to be augmented. The grueling process should have been painful, but Gaius was fueled by an anger to survive. He wanted revenge on the Daemons, a trait most unlike a tech-priest, for killing his brothers and sisters and destroying centuries of hard work. When he was finally deemed fit for release, he was immediately drawn into a long and lengthy discussion with and Archmagos and an Inquistor.

After hours of trial and tribulation, it was decided that Gaius would act as a contact for the inquisition. His unique view on the daemon threat and contact with them made him a valuable asset. He has worked tirelessly since then, ever searching for lost archaeotech to aid the empire against the threat of chaos, and to further the goals of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Name: Boyar Vizier
Branch/Affiliation in the Imperium: Imperial Knight
Rank(If appicable): Freeblade
Age: 63
Description: All things considered, Boyar has aged very well in the 41st millennium. A large scar crosses his aged face from sustaining heavy damage while piloting his Knight Warden, his cockpit having taken a direct hit from a Chaos Knight.
1645041626953.png
Personality: Vizier is a fool hardy and hot tempered man that leads from the front. The death of his home world and House to the Tyrannids haunt him, making him prone to charge heedlessly into near impossible odds, urged further by the belligerent Machine Spirit that resided in most Warden class Knights. If it were not for the other free blades that have congregated around him, he no doubt would have died many years ago on a nameless battlefield, forgotten to the wider Imperium.
Background: Much of Vizier's history was lost with his home world of Vanadras Prime after it was invaded and consumed by a Tyranid splinter fleet. Since then, Boyar Vizier has taken up an oath to hunt down and slay the Norn Queen responsible for such an act. However, he has been side tracked and way laid by many other occurrences, most recent of these being the request for assistance from the agri world Dulicinea. But, due in part to these many actions, Vizier has gathered many other lost souls, hunting for vengeance, purpose, death, or all three. And so he has answered the call for help with his forgotten brothers and sisters in arms. To once more stride the across the field of battle, as true Lords of War.
Loadout/Equipment: Equipped with an aging bolt pistol and power sword, Boyar Vizier's greatest arms and armor is the Imperial Knight Warden, the Wrath Unbridled. Armed with a avenger gattling canon with in built heavy flamer, Roar of Penince, and the Reaper Chainsword, Honor's Bite, this war machine lives up to it's given name.

Name: Cayna Ambrose

Rank(If applicable): Trooper
Age: 19

d9maow2-b2cd37df-cc6e-439e-a311-b798c6436987.jpg
Personality: ever since the loss of her planet. Cayna tries to drown themselves in their work. always trying to keep themselves busy so as to not think about everything they have lost over the years. all the while, keeping a smile on their face so as to try and not worry those around her. if left alone for too long or is idle. she starts to break down. Definitely has abandonment issues. she also has a habit of always glancing to the left because of hearing loss in her left ear.
Background:
born in the lower districts of a Hive City. Caynas life was what you would expect. Living there. Caynas worked early in her life in one of the countless factories with very little future ahead of her. so when she finally turned the recruiting age of 16 for the reserve PDF. Cayna jumped on at the chance. All she had to do now was survive the next two years as a reservist still working in the Factories and she could go Active PDF and have a chance at a better future. Of course, the Universe never works that way. One year after her enlistment into the reserve. A war broke out on the Planet. At first Glance.it just seemed like any normal war between Rival hive Cities. But as the escalation grew and more Cities became engulfed in the War. word started to spread about cults, rituals, and gods. Fearing the worst. The Cities not engaged in the war formed a defensive pact and called for off-world aid. One of those cities was Caynas. But by the time A fleet arrived eight months later. The entirety of Caynas home planet was caught up in the War.

As one of the Last Cities still standing, even under months of heavy bombardment. Caynas home became the staging ground for the Reinforcing Imperial Guard Regiments. At first, the Imperial Offensive caught the enemies off guard. Allowing Imperial forces to push the lines with relative ease. Even taking back a couple hive cities. Cayna, as one of the few surviving PDF troopers still on the front. Was at some point, picked up by one of the reinforcing Guard regiments, the 71st Marian Guards. with them, she fought all the way to the outskirts of another Hive city before. the Imperial Offensive was halted. When they first entered the City. Not a single person was found. as they got deeper in though. Reports of mass graves started to flood in, getting bigger and bigger the further they move in. upon reaching the Center spire, Something happened. What it was, Not many really know. one minute, the spire was there. The next it was gone in a flash of blinding light. The days after was utter Chaos as reports of Creatures appearing from the City and slaughtering entire companies.

the weeks following, Imperial forces suffered defeat after defeat. losing ground every day to creatures that never seem to stop. what took four months for the Imperial forces to take. they lost in two. Six months after the Imperial Offensive began. They were back were they started. Unable to send any more reinforcements. High Command decided to abandon the planet. This news of course devestaed Cayna. she even tried to stay as the 71st were boarding. But a very persuasive left hook made sure she was on a transport as the fleet began their Glassing Campaign. with nowhere else to go. Cayna stayed with the 71st.
