    nameximuroo akito
    agexitwenty-five
    genderximale
    heightxi185cm
    hair colorxipurple
    eye colorxiiridescent

A far cry from a sick, emaciated patient, Akito is one of the last few to be suspected of walking a thin line between life and death. Carrying the dignity of the Muroo clan on his shoulders, the man stands with readied poise, betraying no notion of frailty. The sharply defined features of a neither lithe nor overly stocky figure support a fair height of 185 centimeters (though the latter trait goes largely unnoticed when placed beside his partner-in-crime), and his skin is colored in a healthy warmth.

His greater height and spiritual presence aside, Akito remains an anomaly of his bloodline in more ways than one. Unlike the earthy caramel browns of his kin, his hair is dyed in a gradient of sweet lilac to rich lavender inherited from his great-grandfather styled into a plush, untameable mess (also courtesy of his great-grandfather) which is typically haphazardly squished flat underneath the hood of his coat. Curiously, his eyes take on his most peculiar quality. Though not quite “ethereal”, Akito’s eyes aid a sense of mystique, possessing allure in their iridescence. Ranging from a muted cerulean to teal and even to a soft mint green, each angle brings about a different shade, making the exact hue difficult to pinpoint under its grey base.

Akito’s manner of dress is noticeably different from the apparel commonly worn in Ametsuchi though not of a completely different style. Even when wearing the looser-fitting garments that most typically wear, he’s seldom seen without a scarf wrapped around his neck, underneath which lies a particular marking which he’d rather keep out of sight.

    personality

    ペルソナ

Suitable for a proud head of an influential clan, Akito exudes a presence of confidence and power—or perhaps arrogance bordering narcissism. Though respectful of the positions of others to a certain point, he isn’t above flaunting the natural-born gifts he possesses. Much to the chagrin of his peers, the elders around him only continue to praise his talents, bloating his pride even more. Luckily, he at least has the decency to act with proper tact when performing official clan duties.

As irritating as his shamelessness may become, the more observant few may eventually pick up on the fact that Akito seems to act on a sort of well-crafted false bravado. Having shouldered the weight of an entire clan upon his shoulders from the young age of eighteen, it takes everything to keep himself from cracking under the pressure. The high expectations placed on his being a so-called “prodigy” never did much to alleviate his insecurities either, leading to an autosuggestion that for the sake of his clan—even if it was just for the sake of his beloved nuclear family—he could not afford to spare even a moment of public weakness.

Towards those he considers close, Akito unconsciously pays no mind as that “prideful persona” seems to completely efface. Though he remains about as casual as before, his attitude is tinged with the exasperation brought about by the antics of his brother and partner-in-crime. Admittedly, his nature is about as cynical as the latter’s (perhaps even further influenced by said partner), so there’s not much that invokes a particularly strong feeling of shock in him nowadays.

    abilities

    アビリティー

Like all previous heads of the Muroo, Akito’s raw memorization ability surpasses most others’. Years of training has tempered his mental tenacity to recite his chants wholly unhindered even under pressure, and moving about seems to have equally little affect on his abilities. Seldom is it that he slurs his words, forming every syllable with care yet doing so with a tone and pitch which suggests being as easy as breathing. And perhaps it is, given that he’s aware enough of the rules to dabble in the theory of shortened chanting. Additionally, Akito frequently keeps a set of knives on hand. They’re hardly anything special, but capable enough to serve as a medium or a method to fend off weaker enemies who come too close without resorting to his bare fists. Ninety-nine percent of the time, Gozu is the one doing any physical combat.

"Elegance in Refinement."
Name: Shigenori Tora
Nickname: Shigeru (commonly used), Shige-nii, Nori-chan (cause his hair sometimes looks like seaweed), Shiggy, Shigemaru
Age: 22
Family lineage: Direct lineage. Shigeru's the second eldest son to Saionji Nadeshiko from the Fourth branch of Tora.
Bonded with: Kaede the Genbu

Reason for contract:
"Haha. Well, it'll be strange if the son of a well-known Onmyouji family isn't and Kaede's quite a nice person when you get to know him... Ah, you'll have to catch him when he's awake though."

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry:
"...There's someone I want to see again."

Stance on Ayakashi:
"They're kinder than most people think. I wouldn't be who I am now if it weren't for them so I'm grateful that I'm given the chance and opportunity to see them and befriend many. Although, not many of them come by Ametsuchi, I hope those who do have a pleasant visit."

Abilities:
➢ Sword-fighting - Shigeru uses a purified Katana blade to exorcise Shi-gai. He rarely draws his blade however and usually leaves the Shi-gai killings to other onmyoujis.

➢ Converse - When it comes to dealings with Ayakashi, Shigeru likes to take a more diplomatic approach. He's usually that one fool who goes out of his way to help a Yokai out (granted that the Yokai returns back to Ukiyo where it belongs).

➢ Fan-dancing - While there are many methods to free a Wasuremono, Shigeru uses fan-dancing. On rare occasions, he may be asked to perform for certain ceremonies and when he does, one could find his eyelids, cheeks and lips lightly dusted with red.

Appearance:
daddy Shigenori stands at a towering height of 6'2, broad and sturdy. His muscular built is usually hidden by the layers of his robes and his coloring is rather unique (though not completely uncommon since this is a fictional RP). Shigenori has lilac-colored locks which darken to lavender shades when saturated with liquid or under dark lighting. His eyes are a mixture of jade and turquoise, framed by lashes long enough for girls to glare in envy.

He constantly has a bed head because he tosses around a lot in his sleep. He's also useless in the mornings.
When he's cleaning or at home, one could find his bangs tied or clipped up.
5d1b79db.png

Persona:
(+) Soft-hearted attuned with a firm resolve. Unlike most of his clan mates, Shigenori is normally gentle in spirit and a pacifist at heart. As a child, he was brought up to eat, walk, and live the "Tora way" which was to say, with all the ferocity, valor and pride of a Tiger (the symbol of the family's clan). Despite being raised in such a way, Shigenori carries himself high but with a soft modesty most Tora members look down on. However, his skill in sword-fighting and spiritual prowess earns him the respect he deserves.

(+) Maiden's heart: Shigenori is empathetic and a great listener and comforter. He's more sensitive to how someone is feeling than others.

(+) Honorable: (discounting the battles he refuses to fight / or does not accept) Shigeru is the type to follow through with his words. He takes his promises (petty as they are) seriously and has a good head on his shoulders to know what and what not to do. Children or adult, human or ayakashi, Shigeru would treat you the same regardless.

(+) Constantly seeking self-improvement, whether it be in sword-fighting, cooking, his dealings with people and the ayakashi, or even in something as small as creating flower crowns.

(+) While "fierce" and "scary" are rare words to describe Shigenori, when wielding the naked blade, one is reminded of how Shigeru is truly a Tora.

(+) Insane domestic abilities. He's a neat-freak and usually handles the most of the chores in his family. This also means he's more likely to attack you with a broom or duster than a sword. (Both are equally painful in his hands). He's an average home cook but lately he's been trying to plate his dishes so they look more aesthetically pleasing. It's... a work in progress.

(+) Has an affinity to all things floral due to past relations. One of his close Ayakashi friends is associated with flowers so seeing them reminds him of them. He also finds the scent of flowers comforting. (TIP: one way to win his heart is to give him flowers. It's cheesy but it works.)

(-) Cowardly; because of his dislike for conflict, Shigeru is more likely to run from a battle than stay a fight. He rarely battles despite his strong build and spiritual strength, which most of his peers find a 'waste'.

(-) A pushover; It's not hard to coax or goad the man into doing people favors. (Granted that he doesn't run away first). His inability to say 'no' to both humans and ayakashi has caused many problems.

(-) Terrible at keeping secrets. It'll either show on his face or he'll accidentally make a reference to it without realizing it.

(-) Easily frightened via jump scares. His reflexes towards them are pretty good but his expressions are hilarious. (The first time he met Kaede, he screamed and nearly foamed in the mouth.)

(-) Gets really uncomfortable when his family members or friends nag at him to get a married or at least, into a relationship. He'll always run away the moment the conversation takes a turn towards how single he is. His parents and relatives have expressed their thoughts on getting him an arranged marriage (which is one of his greatest fears).

(-) Pyrophobic; due to the discipline instilled in him by the Tora clan, this fear isn't as notable when near small flames; However, when he comes across large bodies of fire, he'd freeze up completely, blocking out most, if not all, sound. This fear is caused by a traumatic incident which happened in his past.

Background / History: The Tora family is a line known for their valor and raw power and in the beginning, these were all the things young Shigenori Tora seemed to lack.

Born with his mother's fair face and his father's large built, Shigeru was a big and clumsy child who cried easily and ran away when things got too "scary". His black-sheep personalty made him an easy target for his relatives to bully and look down on.

At first, it was just name-calling and jeers but his inability to stand up for himself quickly escalated the harassment to fist-throwing, making him a punching bag to most of his cousins. Most of the adults were too busy to notice, mistaking his bruises for his ineptitude. Others who knew, kept quiet and chose not to interfere for they believed that Shigenori has yet to "grow his fangs".

When heavy-hearted, Shigeru would run to a field not too far from his family's estate. It was usually empty, save for the wildflowers which bloomed in varying seasons; it was the perfect place for young Shigeru to cry in. He's wept many tears in that field and at the tender age of 6, he made his first friend who told him the words he needed to hear: "Stand up for yourself, you seaweed head!"

This friend of his---Ageha---was a yokai who fastly became close to Shigeru after a rather rough start. She was the pillar which pushed him to do what he needed to do and also the person who convinced him that not all things "scary" were bad. Turns out, Shigenori was a boy of considerable spiritual strength. He was able to peer into Ukiyo without a contract (a skill which later weakens as he grows older) and the many things which "scared" him were various ayakashi lurking around.

At the discovery of his gift, Shigeru quickly went from the black sheep of the family to someone respectable. From 7 onwards, under the instruction and firm teaching of his yokai friend, Ageha, Shigeru focused hard on honing his onmyouji abilities until he was up to Tora standards. Even then, the boy pushed himself to excel and at 11, he was given permission to make his first Contract. (No props on guessing who with).

His contract with Ageha went on for 5 years and together, they were a formidable pair in the Line of Onmyoujis, and a considerable asset to the Tora clan. Things would've continued as they were if fate had been more merciful. The licking of cruel red flames severed and weakened his ties to Ageha; until one day, she disappeared from his life altogether, quickly and all too suddenly. An accident had caused the field they had met in to be set aflame and never once has that field bloom again with green.

One year of mourning gave way to another year of wishful thinking. The possibility of her still being out there gave him a reason to re-form his bonds with the Ayakashi. At 18, Shigenori met Kaede and together, they Bonded.

Extra / Misc:
➢ He has great thighs
➢ Loves all things matcha
➢ Looks similar to Muuro Akito at first glance due to their coloring and build. Sometimes people mistake the two for each other until they take a closer look (or until Akito turns around).
➢ Occasionally wears glasses when he's reading
7febc5f3679ae928735b599f0e158d97.jpg

➢ Shigeru had long hair at one point of his life to mimic one of his relatives and well, it was an experience.
f568f51088105864ff1515b858a70538.jpg

➢ Short hair is still best (but only because he doesn't get in the way of his cleaning).
e54b129f8a3a0cb9ea314d7c6a451a5c.jpg

➢ For the laughs, here's a gif of him getting flustered = 7 =)/
e1bf147faafc222a98de85f7a281056ce10a056c_hq.gif

➢ Shigeru would never admit it, but he blames himself for Ageha's disappearance. If he ever finds her again, he'd like to apologize and thank her for turning him into who he is now.
➢ His pacifism is greatly contributed to his guilt. He was a warrior and plowed through Shi-gai during his partnership with Ageha.
➢ Unknown to most, his relationship with his mother is terrible.

For now though, please excuse me and my turtle trash.
Things may change in this document as I edit it. Also...

Gozu is one of the two demon generals that guard the gates of hell, bearing the head of an ox. He is one of the many animal-headed oni that serve the Great King Enma. Upon entering hell, Gozu and Mezu are the first two demons you meet. They are amongst the most powerful within his employ and the chief torturers of the wicked. Should anyone escape hell, they are the ones tasked to drag them back.
    牛頭
Legends speak of Gozu as an extremely powerful being, though the exact powers vary depending on who you ask. However, in sheer brute force it's difficult to deny that his physical strength is close to no equal. He needs no weapons or armor to fight. Some people say he has the power to move mountains, though he has neither confirmed nor denied the accusation.

He does admit, however, that the power he uses is not just his own. Without his mask, Gozu is unable to cross realms, which he needs to do to take back to hell those who've escaped. At the moment, King Enma has bound the abilities so he's unable to attain majority of the power accessible to him if he'd not been contracted by a human. But he is noticeably much stronger when fighting with the ox mask on, even with its capabilities nerfed.

Alongside his superior strength is tough skin that lesser blades will find difficult to cut through. And when metal manages to pierce through, his rapid regeneration will often heal the wound before he feels it. Much of Gozu's power lies in his physical traits, so he's someone you'll want to send to the frontline rather than skulk in the shadows.

While physically it's difficult to find fault in Gozu, he has no other weapon other than his body... and his brain to an extent. Yes, he could certainly learn to shoot with a bow to add some distance to his repertoire, but what's the point when you've got built-in armor and stamina to boot? Any magical abilities typically associated with Ayakashi are non-existent with Gozu, though he does claim to have some of them if King Enma hadn't nerfed his mask.

At first meeting, Gozu will often have his half-starved ox head on, scaring the daylights out of anyone as he speaks in a voice better suited for the bowels of hell. Then again, that is his home, so that might just be normal for him. He does admit that wearing the mask lends him the power of his King, but it's rare he's actually needed it. Outside pranks and duties, he isn't particularly fond of donning it.

Like most oni, he doesn't really care much for his appearance, though most corporeal troubles like bed hair or mud and dirt don't affect him. Truthfully, when he's in his usual state, the only particularly intimidating thing about Gozu is his size. Though his ears and unnaturally fit physique are points of interest, people tend to fixate on the fact he's around two meters tall.

Gozu's outfit is rather lightly armored with many parts exposed, but what piques people's curiosity is the vial around his neck. He often states that it's Akito's blood; most aren't sure if he's joking or not, because even around his human he says that he drew it during one of the times Akito got injured.

  • PERSONALITY
Tsukiko's personality is easy to read: a kind, somewhat timid individual. With a small smile stretched across her face on most occasions, Tsukiko is a friendly person to converse with. Her words are often inviting and she is known as one of those people who're friends to all - able to see the good in most she talks to.

And while she is kind, Tsukiko also lacks social grace. Having spent numerous years on her own, she has somewhat forgotten how to talk to people. Tsukiko finds it difficult to pick up on specific social cues - no matter how obvious they are, and she usually suffers for it. While this isn't unbearable, people who hang with her enough would likely grow sick of it - attempting to "fix" her themselves.

Atop of her lack of social grace Tsukiko is also a timid and jumpy individual. Despite her inviting behaviour, Tsukiko can also be equally as uninviting. Upon seeing someone who is the slight bit intimidating, she is known to make a mad dash 100m away from the person, refusing to speak to them. This makes her a rather hard person to have as a travel companion - more so if someone tries to prank or scare her.

Name: Miki Takahashi
Age: 18
Family lineage: Youngest of the Takahashi family
Bonded with: tbd

Abilities: Can seal a Yokai A rank
Reason for contract: To become stronger
Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry: To bring her house to it's former glory
Stance on Ayakashi: Believes not all of them are bad and can be quite helpful

Appearance:
images

Personality: Kind, optimistic, she enjoys helping others. Dislikes needing help
Background / History: The Takahashi family might be renowned, but it is a far cry from it's former glory. It has become increasingly rare for a powerful Onmyouji to be born from the family, Miki is one of the few exceptions, and people have stopped respecting the family. Despite this Miki had a very happy childhood with her family being nothing but proud and supportive of her, however when Miki learned of the debt that also haunted the family she swore to revitalize her family by obtaining the Ground Cherry.

Ōkami no Ikari

Location:
Mentioned:
Action:
Mood:
Name: "My official title is Ōkami no Ikari, I usually go by Ikari."

Age: "I'm 126 years old, basically just a pup in the Ayakashi world. Well, that's what my family says anyway."

Rank: A

Bonded with: Miki Takahashi

Abilities: Heightened senses, immunity to cold, claws/fangs, ability to communicate with canines, very agile, great reflexes, has a wolf form, can create and manipulate ice

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry: "I want to become a God and I'll do whatever it takes to ascend and show everyone that I will not tolerate being labeled the black sheep of the Ōkami clan."

Reason for contract: "If I could avoid working with them, I would. Sadly, I need one so that I'm free to interact with their world and the elders believe my view of humans will change if I work with one."

Stance on Humans: "They're food and a good way to pass the time. Humans look upon me with despise so that is how I treat them in return. "

Personality: Ikari has always been a hot-headed child that doesn't hesitate with any decisions. She's the type of Ayakashi that follows her ingrain instincts and has the belief that second guessing yourself will only lead to failure. A majority of her personality could be due to how others viewed her and her relatively young age. Once she is placed in a familiar environment or in a setting where she feels in control, she can be quite friendly and playful like a curious puppy. Ikari has a strong sense of loyalty and can be overprotective of the ones she considers to be friends or family.

Attire:
Background / History: Ikari is a direct descendant of the Almighty Amaterasu which explains her wolfish characteristics and abilities. When she was born, a high ranking priest had foreseen her birth as an horrible omen of the wolf that would bring down the horrible wrath of a god which is how she got her name. The priest had told the humans of his vision which led to them fearing the black furred wolf child's presence. The humans with the ability to see her tried countless times to slay her which initially created despise for the human race. Even her own clan tried to keep their distance since she stuck out like a sore thumb among their light colored fur and holy appearances. As Ikari grew up, she had discovered the existence of the Ground Cherry and knew that it would be her best bet for achieving godliness and showing everyone that she would not be an outcast. She had made it her current goal to use whatever human she found suitable to achieve her dream.

Extra / Misc:
- Her fur is honestly the softest thing in the universe and she has a weakness for having her head scratched, something her family had done since she was young.

- Has a weakness for takoyaki, dumplings, and taiyaki. These 3 foods are like kryptonite and the best way to befriend her

the flower that blooms in adversities
    name: yeung, chiharu
    age: twenty-four
family lineage: direct lineage of yeung
bonded with: sasameyuki [ Nano Nano ]

xxreason for contract: "An alliance with an ayakashi is something that shouldn't be taken lightly. It is but the will of the Yeung clan to rest upon the shoulders of responsibilities to the doted on Priestess. If not I, then who?"

xxreason for wanting the ground cherry: "It mustn't be spoken out-loud or the wish will not come true, isn't that correct? In due time."

xxstance on ayakashi: "They are beings that bring to light the evidence of "another world" that crosses realm, time, and space. Who should mess with the fates and what the Heaven allows to exist? Intrigued by most ayakashi would be the best fit-formed answer. The history and experience through the eyes of a being that existed for longer than mere mortals are creatures that perhaps should not be feared and not only reverend, but understood. A bond with an ayakashi would not only bring the clan to their greatest potential. . . but the bond perhaps, will create fonder memories for myself. A link between mortal and immortal is something beyond immeasurable. It is but extraordinary."

appearance: her light-footed, gracefully swift steps always brings admiration and awe to those who are able to see her walk pass. the alluring charm she embraces as she stands with confidence attracts those within her presence to see her as a woman of power and mystery with elegance and poise. she envelops a strong aura that presents that she should not be trifled or underestimated. with her shoulder's width apart, her head facing upward and forward, chiharu is never seen slouching as she could never allow her posture to falter. the young woman is the symbol of the yeung clan and she would be respected and honored as such.

nevetheless, the young woman’s calm exterior rarely shows her inner turmoil as she keeps her emotions to herself, never letting it show. that being said, her face is soft and smooth, unblemished and untouched by dirt or any scars including wrinkles. she appears younger than she is and more fragile than she looks. however, she is quite lithe as she stands at an average height. she rarely adorns any hair pieces that could, quite frankly, hurt her head unless it’s during a ceremony that requires formal attire. chiharu’s kimono's aren't as extravagant as well as she prefers more simplistic ones that rarely have designs despite her elder's misgivings.

personality: reserved in demeanor and words, the female only speaks when necessary or when it's needed. words don't come naturally to her, especially with small talk. chiharu expresses herself differently than most, favoring to speak through expressions, art, and music. she is easily amused, especially about the world and its surrounding. chiharu has a curious mind and is akin to a child when she finds something interesting that grasp her attention. nevetheless, she takes her responsibilities dutifully and in strides. she can be a perfectionist, never expecting less than what she can give and strives to achieve more than expected. chiharu doesn’t take “no” for an answer and can be quite stubborn in her ways, but regardless, the elders depend on the young woman for guidance.

ever since she was a child, chiharu had always been obedient, making sure to follow strict protocol and rules. she was a diligent and efficient child, never one to "dilly-dally" when it came to her work ethnics. chiharu took everything that was handed to her with great respect. she believes in giving credit where it's due and being honest. chiharu thinks before she acts and rarely acts rashly, always making sure to think of all possibilities before going "blindly" into the fray. she is analytical and cautious. nevertheless, she is quite sharp, able to pin-point if someone is lying to her through their expressions and the way they act.

she is rarely trusting of strangers, though she gives the benefit of the doubt unless it causes harm to her or her family. chihary is charismatic, able to gain attention of those closest to her and even stranger because of the "mysterious", passiveness that she withholds. she rarely allows others to come close to her, maintaining a "facade" that she is not weak. chiharu is wise beyond her years and is quite intelligent - which is why the elders want to keep her away from takeshi and shigeru from the tora family. the elders would "hate" to have chiharu's "mind" and "image" tainted being with them. regardless, she doesn't take well with emotions despite being brave - taking on challanges with courage and putting herself on the line with wariness.

chiharu can be awkward when communicating, especially outside of prayer work or anything relating to the temple. outside of the temple, if one were to go up to her on the streets. . .it would honestly be because she got lost and didn't know where to go. she can be thoroughly naive and get taken advantage because of her ignorance. she isn't street smart and sometimes can't understand simple concepts like games. she questions a lot of things and sometimes takes the fun out of it, especially jokes as she takes things too literally. she is more logical and analytical than brash. chiharu can't express herself easily, words don't come naturally to her and she hides or rather runs away from it because she can't understand her own emotions at times. she may seem emotionless as she doesn't necessarily respond to social cues or emotional situations easily. chiharu speaks in ways that is hard to understand, especially when it comes to people her own age. she may speak in riddles or roundabout ways or use words that is hard to understand.

lastly, she's uptight and quite the perfectionist to the point that if something is wrong it messes up her head. If something isn't a certain way, she can get very "anal" about it and have to do things herself than let others do it. she doesn't know how to rely on other people for help so she would definitely keel herself over because of that and fix mistakes of others, not trusting their "work", or trusting herself to rely on them to get the job done correctly and right.

abilities: prayers of a thousand crane: chiharu often prays in her temple and meditates for at least most of the day unless it is asked of her to pray hommage to a certain patron then she will pray at a shrine for said deity. it is rumored that the young girl's prayer to the gods helps tremendously, especially when there are prayers of a thousand crane - a prayer that is earnestly and humbly said. there are many different prayers that chiharu participates in, sometimes it comes close to a prayer that includes dancing and music, for example, a dance for good harvest, for rain, etc. nevertheless, there are times when she has to pray for the living and the deceased, depending on the day it falls on and providing the sacred ceremony.

the blessing: the yeung family are known for their blessings. it includes being able to become the "messenger" or the "middleman" that will become the god's prophetic law and words. chiharu has been blessed with the role of being a priestess that can "communicate" with the gods and take their words and give it to the people who pray and believe in said gods. the messages would also include being marked by the "god" and those who are "marked" are ones who have the duties to forewarn about disasters.

tea ceremony: from a young age, chiharu was taught the ritual and ceremony of tea. the ceremony includes kneel on one's knee without shaking, sitting upright without slouching, and gracefully mixing together herbs and delicately making tea to the right temperature and taste without being too hot or cold, bitter or sweet.

the arts: chiharu is well-versed in singing, dancing, painting, and playing music as she spent her time learning the different arts in case she needed to host a "festival" at her temple or just for guest.

sword-fighting against the elder's wishes, chiharu, at a young age was able to learn sword fighting at the tora household, secretly. however, she is a little bit rusty as she hadn't had the chance to brush up on her skills or even use a sword for a few years.

the book of knowledge: the moment she could read, chiharu engrossed herself in many books that are placed in her own "library" becoming engrossed to learn more about the world, culture, and anything else she could set her hands on. her mind is of that of an "encyclopedia" - knowledgeable to the point that she may "spew" information without knowing if others would understand her or not.

background / history: born in the spring, hence her name "a thousand springs", chiharu was raised coddled by her elders. they groomed her to become "better" than the generation before her as her elder always followed a traditional mindset of becoming "better" than before and learning from one's mistake. the moment chiharu could open her eyes, the elders continuously said prayers to "sing" her to sleep so that she could start remembering. the moment chiharu started to walk and talk, the elder's wanted to teach her how to dance, how to walk properly, and how to talk - basically using her as theirs to raise and bring up into the world. they never allowed her outside the temply, strictly wanting to keep her face covered from others and her presence hidden away to keep the "mystique" and purity of the young woman.

as chiharu grew, her spiritual abilities started to grow and chiharu was always found on a "strict" schedule from learning her prayers to reading and studying history, art, languages, and so forth. nevertheless, she always found fascination with her "bodyguard" who was training to become an onymouji. chiharu always knew she felt some sort of presence surrounding her, but she didn't know what or couldn't pinpoint who. she always thought it was in her heard or perhaps a wandering spirit that was hanging around the temple. despite not being able to physically see the spirit, chiharu sometimes spoke to them as it made her feel less lonely despite not hearing an answer back. she always took the sound her her wind chimes as a message or anything nature provided her with.

despite being a lonely child and a restricted one, chiharu had the courage to one day sneak off eventually stumbling into the tora family household where she met both takeshi and shigeru. the moment she met them, chiharu treasured the moments she shared with them in her mind forever because it was a memory she was happiest and not alone. she trained with them in sword fighting and being able to defend herself. but, of course, all good thing must come to an end when chiharu couldn't see them anymore as she "graduated" to be able to become a priestess for her family household. the guards who watched her and protected her took their duties as seriously as she took her own. she didn't blame them but she did wish they would talk to her and not have to believe that should maintain a distance because of her status.

nevertheless, chiharu's spiritual abilites surpassed the priesrss before her as she was marked by the gods and her "success" as being the doted on priestess was preserved and well-maintained. but, from time to time, getting permission from the head priest, chiharu was able to see shigeru and takeshi on pretense of praying at the temple in fujiwara. however, it wasn't until she bonded with sasameyuki where she didn't feel lonely anymore. she was able to feel the weight of her burdens lift off her shoulder and sasameyuki was the one who taught her how to "loosen" up and that it is "okay" to feel.

extra / misc: - dislikes: being alone and loneliness, abandonment, false hopes, messing up her prayers, people being against her, the destruction of shrines and temples, not hearing the gods words

likes: the cold, sasameyuki, the tora family, being relied on, trusted, sweets, playing in the snow, tea, long walks, stargazing, reading and learning

despite not being in any way, shape, or form relater, chiharu sees sasameyuki as her blood-sworn sister and someone whom she could trust with her secrets. she treasures her bond tremendously with sasameyuki.

weapon of choice: chiharu would choose a bo and a katana as her choice.

Matsuoka Kichiro, 21
Bonded with tbd

53732448445e1755157fc32f97970ebf.jpg

kichiro grew up as the only son to a single mother who worked as a cook for a richer family. his childhood was fairly normal until he reached the age of 6, whereupon he discovered he had the ability to see ayakashi. through turmoil and numerous traumatic incidents, his mother couldn't take it any more and cast him away, cursing herself for bringing the han bloodline into her family.

shortly after being abandoned, kichiro was taken in by a pair of elderly farmers who took pity on him and raised him as their own. although he kept his ability to himself, rumours of him interacting with seemingly nothing spread quickly, and he was found by a member of the han family. although extremely reluctant to leave his newfound family, kichiro was forced away from them for the sake of everyone's safety.

at the han residence, he underwent training to better utilise his abilities, though he refused to adapt the family name and kept it in remembrance of the couple that had shown him kindness. equally, he was never truly accepted as a real member of the han family.

//

with a troubled childhood and lack of a real family, kichiro never really had a chance to form a real bond with anyone, leaving him somewhat emotionally stunted. although rarely intentionally malicious, he can come off as needlessly blunt and self-concerned. he believes everyone else is out for themselves, and for that reason he acts in his own best interest first.

despite his setbacks, he's managed to develop quite a gift for words. his own lack of investment makes it easy for him to freely say what others want to hear, enabling him to manipulate and persuade others for his gain. however his rather closed-off personality ensures he doesn't overuse this skill and for the most part he keeps his goals and needs to himself.

deep down, kichiro is aware he is missing something most people have, but he fears becoming close with anyone as he is sure it will lead to his downfall. he combats any kind of loneliness by engaging himself in study, practise or conversing with yokai, which seem to be equally disinterested in forming long-term relationships with humans, much to his preference.

Abilities
Naming Techniques

He is able to bind an Ayakashi of his power level or lesser. He can bind a maximum of two at a time. He is also able to seal them back to Ukiyo.
Well-versed
Kichiro spent a large portion of his free time in the Han family studying. Even if he cannot perform something, he likely knows about it or how it could be done.

Reason for contract
His only reason is the fact he wants to use an Ayakashi's strength to his advantage in his quest for the Ground Cherry.

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry
Kichiro being able to see Ayakashi is the reason his childhood was ruined. Abandoned by his mother, taken away from his adoptive family and forced to train surrounded by unwilling strangers. His wish is simple: to erase the ability to see Ayakashi for all humans.

Stance on Ayakashi
He doesn't really care one way or another, but he does harbour some bitterness towards them. He thinks everyone would be better off if humans and Ayakashi existed separately altogether.

Misc
Surprisingly competitive: he loves the thrill of a good battle, be it physical or logical.
Has a soft spot for animals and will go out of his way to ensure their safety and comfort.
For clarification: he is the offspring of a Han family member and a normal person, making him an indirect descendant.

Mikarazu, Rank B
Bonded with tbd

8e7e1b8c2e3d9be812ee472af5d01f57.jpg

since his birth, mikarazu was plunged into a world of contest and battle, survival and betrayal.

hey, growing up in a family of birds is harder than it sounds, okay.

with a large family tree and a multitude of siblings, mika's youth was never plagued by boredom. the presence of numerous similarly-skilled brethren meant there was some friendly competition, and while sometimes things got out of hand, for the most part he had a happy childhood.

however, mikarazu spent his whole life in his birthplace, the tenki tree of the ukiyo realm. it is known to be the territory of the tengu yokai, and while their lands surround the area around the tree, they are not allowed to stray far lest they wish to permanently sever their family ties.

//

with unbound spirit for adventure and a desire for freedom, mika made the decision to leave his family at the age of 61 in pursuit of greater things. in yokai terms, he is young thing - borderline a teenager, and it shows.

he has a knack for mischief and teasing others is one of his favourite pastimes. often, he'll latch onto another yokai and follow them around just for the satisfaction of their annoyed voice asking him to leave. naturally, humans aren't safe from him either: he is fascinated by them, having never really heard much about them, and finds them to be odd, if not laughable short-lived little things. he is particularly fascinated by how they live their lives in such a small amount of time, and there are times his curiosity gets the better of him.

other than that, he comes off as a pretty happy-go-lucky kind of person, more concerned with trivial pursuit than some big life-changing shebang. you can have your goals, but what's the point if you don't have some fun along the way, right?

while mikarazu values his freedom first and foremost, he is not one to be shaken by things like betrayal. he accepts most things as fleeting, never one to stay too long in one place or with one person, so if faced with back-stabbing he'll just take it head on. however, those with aims to take away his freedom best be warned: birds do not like to be caged.

Abilities
Transformation

Mikarazu usually has a human-esque appearance, but his true form is that of a huge black bird with a wingspan of about 4 metres. He is also able to transform into an average-sized raven. Normally he wouldn't be able to do this outside of Ukiyo, but his contract has allowed him to use his powers to do so. However, he is only able to keep up his large form for a short time before becoming exhausted and risking serious injury to himself.
Storm
In his true form, he is able to bring forth a black storm. Otherwise, he can cause the sky to darken and rain to come forth, but not much else.
Feather Fan
Using his fan, Mika can manipulate wind up to great speeds, and can create blue streaks of air-like energy. These streams have more force behind them than normal wind, though the more he produces the slower they are.

Reason for contract
A chance to spend time with a human and go on some kooky adventure? Hell yeah!

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry
Currently, he thinks little of it. He's barely aware of how it even functions. For the most part, he's in it for the journey, and if he actually obtains the cherry, well... who knows what his capricious mind might think up.

Stance on Humans
Although fascinated by them, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll always act friendly towards them, or even interact with them at all. Often he will simply watch from afar with curiosity, and even mimic their actions or repeat the words they say. His relationship with them can be summarised with "a kid watching his favourite animal at the zoo".

Misc
Even though he left his family, Mika is very proud of his heritage and does not take insults towards his family or tengu lightly.
He loves giving people nicknames, especially if they dislike it.
Also, he pouts a lot to get his way. Seriously. A lot.

Told yea I could catch one!
Tora, Takeshi
Name:
"Trust me, your gonna be hearing this name spoken of all across the world!"
Tora, Takeshi

Age:
"Eh? Why are you askin' me that for?"
23 years old

Family lineage:
"I already told you, you goin' deaf?"
Tora, third branch.

Bonded with:
"Every hero needs a tag along right?"
Foxy

Abilities:
Polearm fighting
"Nothing can beat me when I got a long pointy stick in hand!
Whats so funny?"
Some men master the sword, some men master the bow, and some men are just really, really, REALLY, damn good with a blade or point on a stick. From men and beasts to spirits, there is nothing he wont be able to take with a good polearm in his hands. Which is good, consider the Tora's main way of purifying yokai.

He keeps on his person a well used purified naginata for such reasons.

When it comes to fighting, you need to be skilled, tough, and most of all, be as damn strong as you can be!"
Shosuke Tora, Takeshi's father
Freakish strength.
Years of training and a love of fighting has built this young man to his top form,
and as he continues to ply his craft he shall look to make himself only even more stronger!
Up until he becomes the strongest man alive!
A title which he will likely have to contend with his father for, which will likely cause the destruction of whatever building they're in at the time.

Survival training
Believe it or not, the man has a great deal of knowledge in how to actually survive in the wild, he actually started learning such techniques and know how because he found the fact he had to return home to resupply really damn boring. As such, he makes it his job to know just how to live in whatever places he ends up.

The ability to pathfind came a bit late into his self teaching, he still Isn't that great at it. But in the very least the was only lost for a full week last time, so progress was definitely made.

However, his best skill is related to fishing, capable of pulling them in with rod, net or even his bare hands!

Reason for contract:
"A journey is always better with a good friend by your side! A kindred spirit resonates between us, no matter what happens, we will NEVER lose! Plus, it was good to figure out why all those things were happening to me over the years..."

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry:
"If I get that damn seed my name will be talked about in all corners of the world,
The greatest warrior to live, and ever live, what more could a man want?
...
What?
You saying thats not a good enough reason?
Bah, I'd wish for something too!
Definitely!
I... Just don't know what yet..."

Stance on Ayakashi:
"Eh? Weird question.
I fight em, sometimes work with em...
Sometimes they try and trick me,
but they definitely cannot pull a fast one on me thats for sure!"
He works on a case by case basis, if it's a fight it's a fight, if their being friendly he is friendly.
If they're trying to trick him, he falls for it.
Every. Single.Time.
He is a little bit to trusting for his own good, especially if the being in question is easy on the eyes.

Appearance:
"...Your eyes do work right?"
Standing 6' 4" and weighing in at 203 lbs of muscle, this young man boasts an imposing figure as he tends to stand out from the rest of his fellows in sheer size, if not by simply being louder than anybody else in the room. He is generally dressed as you see above, not one for much in the way of change or for fashion, hell even in the most comfortable of clothes he tends to wiggle and struggle, god forbid you get him into something expensive.

Personality:
Imagine if you would, a ideal big brother, hes loud, in charge, strong, capable and somebody you can look up to. Now imagine that man, make him a bit too trusting, have a bit of a serious obsession with training bordering to a dangerous degree, and then make him the eldest son of the third branch of the Tora clan.

And then make him as boisterous and strong willed as one can.

That is Takeshi, the headstrong Tora clansmen who makes it his job to lead the pack and be the strongest warrior he can, it is his life and dream to become the very best, like no one ever was! Despite his proclivity for violence one would find him quite amicable, if a bit dim at times, and find a fast friend should you ever be in the market for one.

Background / History:
"You want to hear the tale of this hero? Well take a seat!"
A long time ago, during one of the worst storms of the decade, the Tora clan was huddling from the winds and rain within the compound, hoping that the fierce winds and rain would pass on by with no damage to the building. Within the walls lay Takeshi's mother, Momochi, heavily in labor. With her husband by her side the howling winds outside could be heard even within the building, the structure creaking and groaning as it stands defiant against the storm.

It was during the final stages of his birth when a uprooted tree, blown from far afield, smashed through the roof, a thick and gnarled thing that crushed just about anything in it's way, lodging itself into the building with a immense crash that rattled the building. When the dust settled, Momochi looked up to see the immense tree, dangling above her and her newly born wailing child, just mere feet away from killing them as it remain lodged in the roof.

The storm soon passed, and many of the household took that as a good enough omen as any for the young Tora, even if none could report the interference of any spirits, good luck at any age is a wonderful thing, especially if it saves you from being crushed by a big god damn tree! Though, this was only the beginning of the odd story of this young hero to be!

In his younger years he, like many of the Tora clan, was taught the ways of the clan, from fighting men, yokai, how to read and write as all noblemen should(Something he found boring, even when somebody described the strokes of a brush to be akin to the naginata). His mind was set on one thing, beign as strong and skilled as dad, a man who boasted both in equal and considerable measure.

However, training was not all he did, for he also got into quite abit of trouble now and again, from raiding the kitchen to leaving the compound on his own, there was no end to the trouble he got into, and for those he dragged into his frequent antics. The most frequent faces were his cousin Shigeru and Chiharu, two other children whom he often trained with, a pair he often dragged also into adventures which may had gotten them yelled at, time and time again, but he never let that persuade him from planning yet another.

Espeacially since his father got quite the kick out of hearing what his son had gotten into this time! His mother, however, less so, as she evidently stands as the one that that could reel in both men she loves so dearly with but one sharp glare.

In his late teens he found hismelf with much mroe freedom, makign frequent bouts into the woods and wilds for training, hunting and what have you, it would suffice to say that he has many hiding spots around the compounds, and many a hidden trail to visit his wayward friends.

it was on these hidden spots that he met somebody who would change his life forever, well, technically she had known him for years, through many, many, many pranks that came from seemingly nowhere, he would not give up his favorite spots no matter what mischief occurred, even if he simply thought it was something he messed up causing it.

Extra / Misc:
Surprisingly good at cooking out in the wild.

Has built a rather good resistance to poisons and disease, the former due to a habit of trying just about anything that looks edible once.. even a little tiny bit.

Drinks like a champ, not recommended to encourage it though.

Seems to care very little about the term "personal space."

Loves baths more than any man really should, a good soak is all he needs to feel rejuvenated.

JAPANESE GIRL.jpg
Name: Hisako Imube
Age: 23
Family lineage: Imube clan: second branch, Eldest Daugther
Bonded with: tbd

Abilities:
Kenjutsu Master: The Imube clan has been a warrior clan that specializes in Kenjutsu for hundreds of year. Each child starts training at the age of 8 and then carries on until they are Kenjutsu master. Everyone in the Imube clan must follow this tradition or risk being ostracised from the family.

A Silver Tongue: From a young age Hisako has been a silver tongue as she always put deep thought into her words before they left her mouth. This talent of hers has even gotten her out of an arranged marriage.

Hisako has had great difficulty with sealing techniques but after 8 years of intense training she is now able to seal a A rank.

Reason for contract: She would rather do it alone but a Ayakashi is esstential for retrieving the Ground Cherry.
Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry: Resurrection of the beloved Imube Clan Leader.
Stance on Ayakashi: Doesn't have a generalised opinion of the Ayakashi but instead judges each individually.

Personality: Hisako's name means 'enduring child' and the name her parents gave her at birth does really reflect her. Hisako has had to deal with a few hardships since birth; On the birth of her 7th sibling Hisako's mothers body could not recover from the great task of giving birth and so she passed away. Hisako had to be her mothers stand in for her young siblings as she put aside selfish desires and now think of herself as a unit not a individual as her actions affected her siblings.

The task of raising her siblings meant that Hisako grew up much quicker than her siblings as she was now their guiding hand but the person Hisako turned to when she needed a guiding hand was her clans leader. The Imube clan leader is Hisako's Great Aunt. The pair share a bond stronger than mother and daughter as her clan leader was also her teacher.

It was at the age of 15 Hisako's Great Aunt began to teach her the ways of onmyoji, in her clan it was normally something a father would teach his son and mother would teach her daughter but for obvious reasons Hisako's learning was interrupted. It took Hisoka 8 years to finally be able to create a spirit bond with an A rank but then another tragedy struck as her only guiding hand in the world passed onto the other realm but Hisako's just can't accept it and so she for the first time in a long time she is doing something completely selfish and that is going to get the Ground Cherry and bring her Great Aunt back to her.

Extra / Misc:

  • Hisako is one of 8 children
    She is the third child.
She is extremely gifted in the art of Kabuki as has quite a few fans.
    She hates spicy food.
Hisako is a carbon copy of her mother but the only different between them is that Hisoka's eyes are a lighter shade of brown than her mothers.
She has never gotten along with her father.
Hisako suffered from fainting spells all through her teenage years due to the amount of stress she had of raising her siblings.
Hisako has a cherry birth mark on the outside of her left thigh.

Nagisa (汀)

full

Overview
Age: 22 since spawning.
Yokai type: Iso-Onna
Rank: B
Bonded with: No one yet.
Abilities:
-Hair lash: Nagisa can whip her hair as a primary method of combat. Being an Iso-Onna, the shafts can drain the blood of a living creature.
-Siren's movement: She is an adepted swimmer; in addition, a wrestler that performs best when underwater.
-Predatory instinct: Being a huntress, she has skills for catching a runaway. These better work for animals who dwell in water, but some basic concepts, like tracking and percieveing, she could translate to earth.
-Petromorphosis: She can transform into stone: either in the form of a statue or a monolith.

On Chikyū ki and The Waking Realm
Reason for contract:

Although her circumstance as siren places her in a position where knowledge of humans is not uncommon, The extense of her interactions with creatures of the Waking Realm is of a quick resolution, extension and purpose. Motivated mainly by curiosity, Nagisa would like to better understand the world beyond her shore and is aware that an Onmyouji and a contract can serve this purpose.

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry:

She does not want it for a specific purpose. If presented with an opportunity for its possession, Nagisa would seal off the Cherry and keep it for herself as a token of power if planting it back was not an option: holding its possibility of usage is a greater consideration in her book than consuming it right away, for needs or whims could arise. It is in her interest to keep the cycle of the Chikyū-ki kindled and, as long as that procedure is not threatened, she'd help a pursuer in accquiring the Cherry if she thought that a good reason (at least, one better than hers) was at hand.

Specifics
Stance on Humans:

Primarily, they are nourishment to her. She is well aware of their intelligence and emotional capabilities so, without any doubt, she has a deep respect for them as a species and does not think less of people. On the level of particulars and personal interactions, her judgement would be specific to whoever she meets: Considering, on every dimension of evaluation, that they could also be her usual food if her power was greater.

Personality:
+She is natty, bubbly and cunning.
+Seductive and sultry by practice, but naturally playful and humourous.
+Although a fierce huntress, she hates pain and inflicting it; usually, at conflicted times, she's the first to try to apologize and make ammends if she feels an unfairness has come from her part.
+Very slow to fury, but very quick to spite.
+In some proportion: a glutton, a slacker and a cheat.
+Admittedly ignorant of the world and consequently inquisitive and passionate about getting to know it.
+Impressionable, enthusiastic and naive AF regarding every piece of technology more complex than a cartwheel.
+Proud. Not terribly so, but somewhat.

Appearance:
From the waist up, her image is that of a clear-skinned, busty woman with hazel eyes and a round face; always soaked, as if she had come out from the sea a matter of minutes ago. From the waist down, her legs are ghastly and translucid, toned by a faint cyan shining that is noticeable at night, but almost invisible when sunlight is present. Observably, she stands at 5'5, with her dark, straight hair measuring every bit of her stature and a few inches more down to the floor. She clothes to ease her swimming and cover her legs when capturing prey, but knows not of wearables beyond those two practical functions: thus, she usually dresses in plain cloth straps tied together through knots and bends.

Her attitude is jovial, but it swaps to a serious and observant demeanor when in company of strangers.

Background / History:
The origin of certain Yokai, as is the case with Tsurara-Onna, is known: in their particular case, Tsurara-Onna arise from the introspection of single men upon their loneliness. If they do so while staring at a well-formed icicle during the winter-time, it is presumed that one of them may spawn to wander until the spring that follows.

Iso-Onna are different in that manner: The reason for their creation is unknown, even to themselves. It is said that they form from the spirits of women who drowned near a rocky beach, seafoam and even the punished souls of pirates, but no certainty is to be found in said stories: as it is usually the case with her kind, Nagisa knows that she emerged from the waters in the Northern sea of the island of Kyushu, and is sure of no more.

While in her younger form, she traveled the sea. Nagisa learned to use her hair through hunger, devouring fish as they came in her way. Eventually, she reached a rocky shore where others like her resided; welcoming her and assisting the young siren in learning the usage of her powers. She was introduced to Ushi-Oni and, as the season came about, persuaded mildly away from fish and introduced to the human blood that huntresses bestowed on the fledglings of the group.

She lived, quite happily and carefree, like this for years: learning to use her powers from elder Iso-Onna, tending her hair and watching the adepts dragging people to the depths around New Year's Eve, when the border between realms thins. Eventually, she grew bored of cycles and left the shore, without much resistance and suiting the prediction of what old sirens call Ryokō, a journey that most Iso-Onna in their youth take before settling down as huntresses; Nagisa, however, seeks to take it a step further and wander the mainland with the aid of a Spirit Contract. This has not been as unusual a choice for some, but amongst her community, no individual who tried it ever returned. For that very reason, she kept it secret.

And so, Nagisa wanders the beaches looking for an interested Onmyouji or, in lack thereof, a meal and a nice view of the seaside.

Extra/Misc
Her first victim was a drunken Tanuki who flirted with her, getting closer and closer with every word he spoke. Unsure of what to do, she opted to let him approach her as much as he was willing to go on his own, but upon a quick inspection, the spirit noticed her legs were absent. Realizing what was happening, he tried to escape and got a fair distance away, but before he could move too far, she managed to grab him by the ankle and pull him to the water after an agitated struggle in a rocky shore. The other Iso-Onna were amused by this clumsy capture and, in a joke that stuck, named her Nagisa: for she hunted by tussling on water's edge.

She only knows the kanji for her name. Beyond that, she cannot read to save her life. Books and information, however, fill her with intrigue.

"Perish thou who are weak."
Name: Kohime
Written: 瑚媛
Type: Ambie/Amabiko
Age: 220
Rank: B with hopes of someday achieving A.
Bonded with: Liu Shui Zhang

Reason for contract:
"I wouldn't be making one if it wasn't utterly necessary. Hmph. Shui's the only one worth bonding with."

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry:
"I'm called to collect the Ground Cherry on Lord Ryōjin's orders, but... truthfully, I'd really like to give it to Shui. There seems to be something she really wants and I hope she gets it. Ah, but Lord Ryōjin's orders come first of course!"

Stance on Humans:
"I'll give them the benefit of doubt, but only because Namihime seems so fond of them. I honestly don't see what's so great about humans though. Most of them are stinky, with the exception of Shui."

Abilities:
➢ Goldish - Kohime can summon a maximum of three goldfishes (they aren't like shiki, they're her friends) to do her bidding aid her. Two of them are small-medium sized whereas the third one is large enough for her to sit on. All three of them swim in air. The first two are named Ming and Yue. The third one is named Kingyo.

Kohime only has the strength to keep either Ming and Yue or Kingyo in Ametsuchi. (They are not visible to humans.)

Kagura.(Onmyoji).full.2073650.jpg

➢ Water - The goldfish she summons can spurt out spouts of water like water guns. If she concentrates enough, she could manipulate medium-sized water bubbles in air.

Kagura.%28Onmyoji%29.full.2124067.png

➢ Song - Kohime is gifted with a naturally good voice. Her voice---more than her appearance---was what got her accepted into Ryōjin's Jinja-hime court. Despite her good voice, she rarely sings even when asked to. The only people who've heard her singing voice are Ryōjin and his court, Shui and her old friends*.

Appearance:
Kohime is a rather petite thing, gracing others at a modest height of 5'2 without her 2 inch high sandals which she wears on formal occasions. Her dark chestnut hair are cropped in straight blunt cuts, save for two locks each on either side of her head which grow down to her shoulders. Her features are not unpleasant and even with her usual look of stoicism, the tiny babe is known to resemble a porcelain doll (that is, until you touch her. Dolls don't bite and snap the way she does).

Kagura.Onmyoji.full.2060548.jpg

She is most commonly seen in a decorative red yukata, tied together at the waist by a large fluttering obi which are shaped to resemble the tails of a goldfish. Her signature goldfish hair clip is always pinned into her hair, looking so realistic that some wonder if it is truly a clip. (Some swear they've seen the goldfish blink at them. Kohime neither denies or accepts their claims).

Kagura.(Onmyoji).full.2111219.jpg

In her visible human form, Kohime's appearance is more or less the same. The only notable difference is the shift in color in her eyes. From a blood-rust red, they turn to a light earthy shade of brown. Kohime finds that most mistake her for a young child around the age of 15 in Ametsuchi, when she is in fact, much older.

Kagura.%28Onmyoji%29.600.2088287.jpg

Persona:
(+) Loyal; while not one who frequently makes friends, the strong friendships Kohime does make are greatly cherished. Time is an essence lost upon her and no amount can weaken the bonds she forms with those she considers dear. She will be deathly loyal to her friends*, regardless of whether it's been 5 years or 100 since she's last seen them.

(+) Logical; despite her child-like appearance and occasional immature behavior, Kohime is surprisingly a practical person with a good head on her shoulders. She is good at analyzing situations and choosing the best course of action (for herself and to her benefit).

(+) Proud; holds her head up high because if she doesn't her goldfish would slip off. While she's not boastful, she's not modest either.

(+) Snack queen; in her human form, like all other Ayakashi residing in a physical state in Ametsuchi, Kohime is required to eat for sustenance but that doesn't mean she necessarily eats healthily. Instead of meals, the girl binges on small snacks which fills her up, that is, until Shui chides her into eating healthy meals. If there's one thing she likes about Ametsuchi, it's the snacks.

(-) Naive; but only when it comes to human customs and culture. She rarely spends time out of Ukiyo so the rules of human society are usually lost upon her. She's slowly learning due to her time in Ametsuchi. E.g. Kohime only recently learned of what 'marriage' was when Shui got married.

(-) Selfish; what's hers is hers and she's not used to sharing things (or people) with others unless she's chided to by someone she respects (Shui or Ryōjin). The rare exceptions where she does are to be regarded with high praise.

(-) Guarded; One would never see Kohime approach another without suspicion or extreme wariness. The babe is known to put up various mental barriers to prevent others from getting close to her. Those who do, usually have to take down twenty or so walls she's carefully constructed around herself.

(+) Emotional control; Like any Ayakashi, Kohime does feel emotions but they show minimally due to her control. Angry shouting, sobbing or loud laughing in public are rare, if not improbable. No one except Shui has ever seen her cry.

(-) Possessive attachment; self-explanatory. Kohime feels the strong desire to monopolize the few people she chooses to attach herself to. The fact that she gets jealous or insecure when her loved ones seem to prefer the company of another over hers only makes this flaw worse.

(-) Trust issues; Distrust is how she approaches most of her forming relationships, whether it's blatant or underlying. This stems from the bullying she faced in Ryōjin's court.

(+) Devout; The few individuals Kohime adores are put on a pedestal. She is willing to overlook any of their flaws or ill-harm caused to her or others, leading to her probable destruction should they be bad people. People in this list include Seimei, Ryōjin, Namihime and Shui Zhang.

(-) Inferiority Complex; Due to her history of being a weak C rank and serving in a court with beautiful A-rank Ayakashi (the Jinja-hime), the young babe has a veiled inferiority complex which shows in her contempt for weaker beings i.e. mainly Ayakashi under B rank and most unskilled humans.

^ her 'how dare you speak to me you lowly lout' face.

Background / History:
The beginning is fragmented, scattered in the midst of midst of suffering and death. Great misfortune had swept upon the small village the young amabiko was born in and from the start of her waking days, Kotoko had been alone. The faces of her parents and the people of the village are blurred scribbles in her memory. Their abandonment are cold shards she wields as unforgiving blades. From the start of her conception, she fought to survive.

Her memory dates back to the days she would wander the empty ghost town digging for food or whatever she could find to fill her belly. The raid had taken everything considered valuable and spoiled food was nothing the violent Oni tribes were after. Though she was never sure how she survived up until this memory, young Kotoko took this as a sign from the gods to live.

Everyday was a struggle and there were countless times where she'd wish for nothing but the embrace of death. At least there, she believed she would find mercy against a cruel and unforgiving world, that is until---twenty years later, at death's door, Kotoko was rescued by Seimei.

It was with Seimei did Kotoko experience the joy and love of having a family and comfort. The ruthless pelting of life was shielded by his reassuring back and Kotoko's life was indebted to him. In addition to the enigmatic yokai, two others, Hotaru and Shinobu, were together with them on their travels across Ukiyo. They were a family, the four of them, all different yokai races but united as one mind and heart. Her time with them made her take back the resentment of her birth and she later learned that it was Seimei who kept her alive until she was able to fend for herself.

She never questioned why he left her to starve only to come back years later. She loved him, idolized him, worshiped him far too much to question his decisions. If it was for Seimei, Kotoko was willing to throw her life away for him.

For 100 years, Kotoko lived happily without the slightest inkling of what was to happen next. Their travels eventually brought them to Ametsuchi and being the only C-rank yokai in the group, Kotoko was unable to interact with humans of the Waking Realm. It was never a fact she minded (despite the intense teasing of Shinobu), until a large scale fight occurred in the town they were staying at. What started from a misunderstanding, quickly escalated into something more and Kotoko was left unable to doing anything to help.

A group of onmyoujis (*most were bonded, some had the ability to see spirits) had been sent to the town to exorcise some malevolent Ayakashi. To Kotoko's greatest misfortune, her band of friends were roped in and hunted down. Prideful as they were, they stood their ground and fought, warning Kotoko to flee before they spotted her too. As much as she didn't want to, the young Amabiko had never refused a direct order from Seimei so she ran and in running, she cursed her weak existence.

The four of them were split up that night and Kotoko never saw them again.

Alone once again, Kotoko spent the next few years searching for them with each year diminishing the hope of a reunion. In the end, she gave up entirely, believing that this was her punishment for being too weak to help them when they needed it the most. She mourned for her loss and given her experience in her travels with the group, Kotoko survived on her own until she was one day discovered by Ryōjin, the Sea Dragon Emperor.

Captivated by her mellifluous singing voice, Ryōjin invited her into his entourage of Jinja-hime. She accepted his offer and in doing so, he blessed her with a new name: Kohime. A name holds power and this change gave her the surge of spiritual power needed for her to reach B rank; though admittedly, it was still nothing compared to the A-rank Jinja-hime in his court, it was enough to inspire the Amabiko to aim for A-rank.

Adopting a lowly Amabiko into the court was unheard of and Ryōjin's favor only garnered her more jealousy for her to be bullied and ostracized by most members in the Jinja-hime court---all except for one.

Namihime was Kohime's only friend within the court and someone she treasured dearly. It was Namihime who convinced her to give Ametsuchi and its people another shot. Had it not been for her, Kohime would've never stepped foot into the Waking Realm or met Shui.

After a few decades of service, under the urging of Namihime and the instruction of Ryōjin, Kohime was told to return to Ametsuchi for the Contract which will allow her to take part in the search for the Cherry Lantern Seed. It was then, she met Liu Shui and captivated by her grace in her performance for a ceremonial dance, Kohime decided she'd bond with no one else.

Extra / Misc:
➢ Kohime's singing clips: x x x (*she has a wide voice range)

➢ Her favorite food is seaweed but she'll never eat it around other people because it's smelly and sometimes it gets between her teeth. She's proud and refuses to show such a poor sight to others.

➢ Surprisingly bait-able with snacks (a trick Shui's husband learned).

➢ Kohime's name combines the characters 'Coral' and 'Princess'

➢ All the Jinja-hime in Ryōjin's court have the character 'Hime' in their name.

➢ Kohime was once named Kotoko (琴子 kanji name meaning 'harp' and 'child'). When she was renamed by Ryōjin, the 'Ko' kanji was kept but changed from child to coral.

➢ Ryōjin, the sea dragon god, and the Jinja-hime stay in Ryūgū-jō.

➢ Kohime's first family/friends are (from left to right) Hotaru, Seimei and Shinobu. (*A/N: I kept the name Seimei bc it's in her voice clip so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Onmyouji.%28NetEase%29.full.2152133.jpg

➢ She regards her old name with much contempt. Very few would know it.

➢ As most would guess, her inferiority complex is far deeper than one would think. The insecurity and guilt she carries as a C-rank seeps into disdain for all C-rank and below yokai. She blames herself for losing her family (her first group of friends) and is actually afraid of seeing them again because she's afraid they'd blame her for 'abandoning' them. Kohime refuses to search for them until she's "strong enough" to face them again.

Though not a direct heir to any of the Zhang's branch families, Shui is still relatively well-known for being something of everyone's big sister. Though her training in their methods is lacking, she's found her place as support for other omnyouji, helping ensure their safety and success. Her marriage with another member of the Zhang family further cemented her ties with the clan.
Though Shui is far from being one of the stronger members within the Zhang family, she's not someone that should be easily dismissed. Steady practice and constant exposure to skilled Omnyouji have at least ingrained in her the knowledge that differentiates the good from the great. Though her spirit levels are not as strong as they could have been, what she can do is done with near technical perfection.

Rare are the incidents that Shui acts as Onmyouji on her own; she's most often called to assist other individuals as they lead lost Ayakashi back to Ukiyo. Most of her duties to the Zhang clan are ceremonial. When important festivals take place, Shui is one of their principal dancers alongside the main family. Her singing voice is huskier than what most of the clan's songs call for, and so she's not one of their primary vocalists.

Like most members of the Zhang family, Shui has the ability to lead the lost back to Ukiyo with her song and dance. She's unable to fully exorcise Shi-gai, so she has instead focused her efforts on temporarily paralyzing them and similar effects. This is why she's often called to assist when particularly difficult Shi-gai are expected, as well as teach newer Zhang members and join them on their first excursions.

Shui's comfortable in her woman's body, understanding that it's one of the things that enables her to perform her duties as a Zhang member better. She keeps herself fit through a combination of constant exercise in the form of practice, and proportional eating. Despite that, she admittedly has a sweet tooth and will often take an afternoon off to pound some rice for mochi.

One of Shui's most distinct features is the long brown hair that reaches her waist. It's probably her one point of vanity, taking time throughout her day to brush or comb through the locks and ensure its health. She wears a decorative clip to keep it away from her face. The clothes she wears always ensures a decent range of movement, acknowledging that the Zhang method isn't exactly the most proactive means and always puts the performer at risk.

Bonded with:
Hou Mei Shiga
"Cute, strong and listens to my every word,
have a gained a contract or a retainer?"

Abilities:
Needlefu, the skillful usage of a needle in the ways of force is the main way this little yokai dishes out the pain.
In truth, he finds few chances to prove his abilities with the sharp implement, but legends say his proficiency with it
are something not to be trifled with.

"It is not the size of the blade, but where you strike."

An accomplished creator of tools, through the usage of his various tools and such he is capable of creating various
tools to get the job done. For example, he carries upon his person a expanding glider to make use of drafts and wind to glide long distances!

"A sharp wit cuts as deep as any sword! It also helps to be crafty."

Uchide-no-Kozuchi
A thing he is mostly known for, a magical mallet that when hits an object shrinks it to a tenth of it's size and weight! it can also grow targets as well, depending on which side of the mallet is used.
Upon the second hit, the object or person grows/shrinks back to their normal size, a very handy tool!

though oddly, it doesn't work if humans are watching... And the two sides of the hammer can be easily mixed upo with one another.

"Wana see the world from my angle?"

Reason for contract:

Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry:
*A lecherous grin, followed by disconcerting low chuckling*

Stance on Humans:
"They are such fleeting things, but they live such wonderful and full lives. I cannot help but feel jealous of them, all this time I have watched them, they create beautiful art, create buildings out of base materials, changing the world to their bidding. It may take time, but they complete their tasks, and then move onto another, so very easily, as if the act of creating marvels and beauty can be condensed into a routine.

Truly, I do so ever love humans.

....

And bigger is always better right~!"

Personality:
"Everyone has a vice, one must never be ashamed of their own."

Wise words ring out from the little man, he speaks as if he were a monk giving crucial guidance to any he speaks to. Calm and centered at all times, he gives off a very calm and serene, choosing his words carefully as one might think from an old monk. He loves nothing more than the passing of time and the evolution of humanity as they till the earth, create massive buildings and create gorgeous treasures. Solemn, yet amicably well suit for conversation, he carries himself as a appreciator of arts and the act of creation, the beauty is never lost on this little man, as he finds it in every place he looks.

And.. every.. one.. he looks at. Indeed he has quite the eye for beauty, and is more than willing to watch, stare and sneak to bare witness to a... Work of art.

Background / History:
"So the story goes..."

A childless old couple, prayed to the gods for a child, for they could not bare one for themselves, the gods answered their prayers bestowing upon them soon a child. this child however did not grow beyond one inch. This small yet thoroughly confident young man wished to go to the capital to become a warrior and see the world in all it's glory! Taking up a bowl as a boat, chopsticks as a paddle, a needle as a sword and a piece of straw as a sheath he set off to become the warrior he sought to be.

though that is how the story goes, he is not quite certain himself how he came to be, but this story seemed as good as any when it becomes a topic.

Several things happen along the story, the most important event is the young man defeating an Oni who kidnapped a wealthy man's daughter, by being eaten and stabbing his stomach until he spat him back up! The oni ran away, leave behind the rumored mallet that grants wishes and they both lived happily ever after.

There was also a telling oft he same tale of where he tricked the wealthy chancellor into allowing he and his daughter to wed, only for the small man to be eaten by an oni, again, to which he apparently... Climbed out of the Oni's eye, only to be eaten again, and do the same to escape until the Oni got tired of doing this and left, leaving behind the mallet the little man is so known for.

The truth of the matter is, there really was no daughter, and definitly no wealthy man. Just a brief spat between Shojiro and an Oni that ended up with the little man eaten. The little man had hardly gotten to the stomach, for his unsheathed needle got stuck in the Oni's throat. The resulting clog in the throat of the Oni caused quite abit of panic and no doubt-ably pain as the being began to try and cough up the lodged Shojiro and his sharp pointy savior.

Unable to breath, the Oni soon dropped and went unconscious, giving Shojiro enough time to scurry his way out of the bestial being. Now free, disgusted and thoroughly covered in the Oni's saliva and latest meal the small boy took up the Oni's mallet and ran off, thinking of a better way to explain what exactly happened...

For thats one story he'd rather forget, or at least not tell truthfully!

Regardless, the small little man and his magical mallet set off into the world, wandering for years to witness all the wonders available to him. Witnessing the countless wonderful creations of the mortals he so grew to love, in his own way... He silently watched as buildings took rise, families were created, clans established. But more often than not, he dared not venture to close to those who could see him and his kind, favoring the shadows and anonymity of watching from afar.

The part he loved the most of his journey was his stay at various temples, learning from the wisdom collected by these short lived people, staying out of sight he watched and learned, curious of the wisdom and practices these monks and priestesses perform on a daily basis...

And over the years, he found revelations for himself, though he is far from a monk in the end...

he still functions as a font of wisdom... if you can withstand his interests...

Extra / Misc:

He has an immense love of tea.

Has heard every size joke in the book.

    eye colorxiblue
    racexiyukionna

Though yukionna are frequently painted as blood-sucking witches lurking about the cold tundras of Ukiyo, it’s apparent why so many fall for their bewitchment regardless. Without a need for vain words dancing off of her pale lips, a single glimpse is enough to ascertain the young maiden’s beauty. Like all of her fellow frostborn kin, Sasame’s appearance is seemingly flawless, even without the extra embellishment of makeup. Gossamer strands of silvery hair compliment milky white translucent skin, giving way for a soft complexion. Even every eyelash framing her eyes seems meticulously placed, and the jewels hidden underneath glimmer like the very ice she was born from.

To match, a modest height of one-hundred sixty-six centimeters and a petite figure evokes the impermanence of a flower. Her legs boast no significant muscle and the thin wrists hidden underneath the eaves of her cloak appear as if they would snap at the smallest of pressures. In tandem with her graceful mannerisms and flighty way of moving about, she casts the illusion of being as delicate as a snowflake, all while keeping hidden the icy thorns she so painstakingly conceals. After all, she doesn’t want all those years of slaving over her appearance to go to waste.

A fashionista through and through, Sasame switches her attire based on the occasion. Her uniform favorite, however, is the modified kimono colored in an array of blues and accented with a gold trimming and embroidery. Complete with a tassel for an earring and a decorative hairpin, the yukionna takes great pleasure in wearing the clothing that she had personally tailored. Though for all her detail, she seems to always be missing one important element: shoes.

    personality

    ペルソナ

At first glance, the yukionna known as Sasameyuki is presented as a distantly gracious yokai with an equally elegant physical appearance. Her smile bears a sort of mystique typical of her kind, and her gaze is piercing in a calculating sense—that is until those unfamiliar with the maiden’s habits stand by her side for more than five minutes.

Contrary to the frigid temperatures which naturally cloak the yukionna in a frosty aura, Sasame is a sprightly presence within the Yeung family household. With her amicable persona, the yokai is fairly well-liked among those she interacts with, though her sly demeanor and taste for mischief can land her in hot water from time to time. Her casual attitude with humans and ayakashi alike, however, does make it difficult for her to form any lasting relationships, especially given the fact that she finds difficulty in the simple task of remembering other’s names. In retrospect, she places her close comrades above herself. Perhaps a result of having lived a fairly solitary life with only her adoptive father and brother as company, the people whom Sasame forms a gradual attachment to find themselves being treated as if they were her own family, to the point where she even refers to them as such.

As much as she’d love to say that her personality is as flawless as her appearance, Sasame does recognize her faults (not that she’s ever done much to fix them). Though quick to forgive in that she finds mulling over minor trivialities much too bothersome, any form of betrayal is looked upon with utter distaste. Grudges are a stranger to the yukionna, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t capable of stubbornly clinging to them for years on end. Getting back at someone simply means a few cute pranks here and there (courtesy of her vindictive streak), but a full-on grudge will bring about a sour expression at the mere mention of their name and plans for their slow but painful demise. As they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Luckily, it’s rather difficult to test her patience to that extent.

    abilities

    アビリティー

While she can’t freeze a man’s insides solid with a mere kiss (though admittedly she’s also never really tried), Sasame’s range of abilities and encompasses just about everything that the legends state. Born in snow and of snow, the girl’s body naturally permeates a chilling cold, though with her current amount of discipline, she can retract her frosty presence to a certain extent. This power extends to exploding into a cloud of snow if threatened, freezing things over, and (her favorite ability) producing blocks of ice that she can nail things (aka Shiki) with.

Of her current set of abilities, Sasame’s most important by far is the ability to regulate her body temperature. Something that has only just recently been perfected, this power allows for her to travel to warmer climates without suffering the consequences of the heat. This capability comes with a setback, however. As she’s constantly expending excess energy to combat the heat, Sasame becomes proportionally weaker the warmer it is. That being said, shove her in the Sahara Desert, and she’d more or less be rendered useless on the burning sand.

Yin

About
➙ Name:
Yin -
➙ Age:
140
➙ Yokai Type:
Tanuki
➙ Rank:
B
➙ Bond:
TBA

Abilities
➙ Shape-shifting:
One of the abilities of the tanuki is shape-shifting. Yin is no exception, especially take the form of a white haired male, though can occasionally be seen with brown hair instead. His clothes never change, and he seems to stick with one form the majority of time. It would almost seem that Yin has made this specific human form a 'part of himself'.
➙ Object Illusion:
If by any chance Yin sees something he wants that can only be obtained with money, he has plenty of leaves to spare. Like the cheeky tanuki he is, he can use a minor illusion magic to make worthless leaves appear as money.
➙ Sound Illusion:
Yin seems to commonly use sound illusion purely for the sake of messing with humans at night. Like producing the sound of something falling, but without anything actually falling. Yin can produce natural and manmade sounds: from the sound of a river, to sound of coins falling to the ground (which he does just to see the reactions of greedy humans).
➙ Tanuki Fire:
Having the ability to produce small flames, Yin seems to use this ability more of a "guide on dark, rainy nights". He doesn't seem to use this ability has a defence or attack mechanism.

Intent
➙ Reason for Contract:
TBA
➙ Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry
Other than being excited about the fact that if he had the Ground Cherry he could wish for delicious food, Yin doesn't have any deep intentions on using it. Perhaps he merely wants to wave it in the faces of the humans and ayakashi who want it a whole lot more than him.
➙ Stance on Humans
Unusual, interesting, unpredictable, all words that could come to Yin's mind when thinking of humans. Often roaming among humans, he could also find them fun and exciting. Nonetheless, Yin seems to have positive view on humans.

Appearance
➙ Eyes
Blue (left), yellow (right).
➙ Hair:
Dirty white
➙ Details:
Far from conservative, Yin is one to wear clothes that don't seem to cover enough of his skin. With his chest and stomach often bared, he has a weird cross between light materials and parts of armour (forearm gauntlet and pauldron). Keeping a toned a muscular form, Yin is seemingly built for combat, however he rarely willingly partakes in combat.
Often seen in the form of a white haired male, Yin has significantly long and silky hair. Usually tied back in a high ponytail, with a side fringe messily falling over his left eye.

Persona
➙ Trickster:
A common factor of the tanuki, Yin is a bit of a trickster. He loves confusing humans or getting a sort of reaction out of them - mostly from annoyance to his persistent teasing and torment. Furthermore, Yin would go so far as to cause tensions to rise between clans by disguising himself as a member of one clan and initiating an attack on the opposite clan.
➙ Secret Sweetheart
Underneath all his tricks and teasing, Yin is quite a kind hearted and lovable ayakashi. He is especially fond of social interactions and loves learning more about humans. On the rare occassion, he is almost like the pet dog, spouting a strong loyalty for those he has sworn it too - though Yin rarely seems to get that emotionally connected to any other being.
➙ Glutton
Food, food and more food. Yin is a glutton to say in the least, food is the first thing on his list of priorities. From to a juicy cooked chicken to a freshly plucked berry, he loves it all. Alcohol seems to be of equivalent importance to Yin as well, often seen drinking most times during a sunny afternoon.
➙ Lazy Jab
More so having a laid back and "i just want to lay around in the sun" sort of attitude, it's no different when it comes to combat. Yin is disinterested in doing the fighting himself, and does so in sloppy conduct. However, when it comes to a life and death situation, Yin will certainly pull through and take things a bit more seriously.

History
➙ Amnesiac?:
Perhaps Yin just has a terrible memory and cannot remember his beginning of life himself. A tanuki with no recollection of how he became to be. The earliest days he can seem to remember is waking up on a sunny afternoon in the shade of a tree atop a small hill, not too far from a human village. At first, Yin might had been unsure and wary of humans and kept to himself - scurrying off somewhere to hide.
➙ New View :
As uncertain and inexperienced with the world as he was due to his missing memories, Yin was understandably scared of discovering new things or meeting new people. He would often shy away should he ever cross paths with another. However, the more Yin travelled to escape the unknown, the more he found himself faced with it. And, surely, through experience of the world he came to adjust suitably and become quite fond of his little explorations and adventures to come.
➙ Resting Village :
Travelling with no real point or purpose in mind, Yin was merely bored and just finding that he enjoyed learning more and more things. Eventually, he came across a small human village, one that he would describe as comforting and relaxing. Of course, no one could actually see him, but he felt in place and made the village his home for awhile.
➙ ???:
TBA About contract

Extra
➙ Yin especially loves edamame and fish and tends to eat it most.
➙ Yin is oblivious and doesn't seem to get hints from others.
➙ Though he likes water, he hates getting stuck in the rain.

Name: Hou Mei Shiga
Age: 19
Family lineage: Disciple and unofficially adoptive daughter of Shiga Sun, Third Branch, Second Child of the Shiga Clan
Bonded with: Shojiro
---
Abilities:
Trained in the art of Wukong Style Boxing and Wukong Style Bojutsu, created by Sun Shiga, famous for it's use of trickery and highly acrobatic movements to confuse and disable opponents.
Hou's style in particular focuses on using her foe's limbs, body and even their weapons as platforms to make attacks at vital pressure or ki points.
Hou has also been trained in the use of several hand-sealing techniques, including the dreaded Wukong Two-Fingered Seal: "Jingu Bang Pierces the Heavens"
---
Reason for contract: "He has so many great things to teach me, and so many amazing stories to tell! I'm honored to have someone like Shojiro-sensei as a partner!"
Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry: To see the majesty of the Chikyu ki and to earn her master's approval.(Her second wish would be to delete "that night" from history.)
Stance on Ayakashi: "So interesting! There's so many kinds and they come in so many different shapes and sizes! Hmm...I wonder if I'll ever get the chance to challenge an Oni?"
---
Appearance: Her eyes are wide, round and bright, giving her a very "monkey-like" appearance. Her hair is brown and cut slightly short. She commonly wears the standard red, black and gold uniform of the Wukong school, with her only form of protection being the hardened leather pads on her elbows. The gold sash and ribbons are to bring good luck and fortune to their wearer.
Personality: A lackadaisical tomgirl, simple of mind but pure of heart, she'll face even the greatest of adversities with the same, innocent smile. She's prone to bouts of mischief, playing tricks on others is one of her favorite pastimes. She loves fighting, believing that like art, music or dance, it can bring humans and ayakashi together.
---
Background / History: There are few as old, as cantankerous or as lecherous as Sun Shiga, which is why it comes as a surprises to so many that the frail, age-shrunken man was once one of the clan's greatest warriors. More surprising still, they find, is that someone like him could raise such an earnest daughter.
The story goes that one day, Sun was teaching his morning class. As he was instructing his students the various forms and movements of Wukong Kung Fu, he noticed a peculiar girl peeking in from atop the dojo's walls. Thinking that the girl was some manner of hooligan, he stopped his session, rushed out the door, and chased her off with the old bo staff he used for his walking stick. Content once he lost sight of the mysterious interloper, he returned to his class, and erased the incident from his memory. The very next day, however, Sun saw the girl watching his class from over the wall again, and again he chased her away.
This process continued, day after day, until it became a morning ritual for Sun or one of his students to chase the girl out, only for her to elude capture. Some of his disciples had taken a liking to their strange visitor, and left behind offerings of food and supplies in secret. Others, irritated by her constant meddling, or hopeful to earn their master's attention, began to lay out traps in hopes of capturing her. One day, Sun, at his wits end, ventured deep into the forest to meditate on how he should deal with the strange pest, and as he pondered who the girl could be, what to do with her, and the reason for her persistence, he became aware of a great rustling sound coming from nearby. Cautiously, he ventured toward the source of the noise, and as he spied out from beneath the underbrush, who else did he find, but the mysterious, young girl, practicing what appeared to be his techniques.
He was flabbergasted by the sight, for she practiced techniques she had only observed for a few months as if she had been practicing them for years.
"Was this the reason behind her visits? To learn?" thought the old teacher, stroking his chin in thought. The fact that she had learned so much through simple observation astounded him; it made him wonder how much she had learned so far, and how much potential laid dormant within her.
He needed a way to test her abilities, and luckily, he had had the perfect idea.
The next day, the girl arrived at her usual time, and scaled the dojo wall as she always had, only to find the courtyard completely empty. Confused and disappointed, she prepared to drop down, and sulk back from whence she came, only to find the dojo students now lying in wait below her, and blocking off any path she had of escape.
The largest among them stepped forward; a young, prideful man by the name of Danbo. He was more fit to be a thug than a martial artist, but his formidable strength made him Sun's star pupil. "You've been a pain in our ass for quite some time, girl!" He said, with a cruel sneer, for he hated the girl's persistence, and how she always made a fool of him by eluding his capture, and the oblivious, innocent smile that she always wore.
As he assumed a fighting stance, he sadisticaly smirked, "...But if you want to see the Wukong Style so badly, I'll give you a demonstration that you won't soon forget!!"
The girl's only reaction to Danbo's threatening words was to bow respectfully and assume the same, exact stance. Pushed to his limit by the girl's mockery, Danbo charged forward. The girl rushed forward to meet him, smiling all the while.
The two engaged in a fierce, violent battle, and to the shock of everyone present, Danbo fell first.
"Amazing!" they murmured, "How could Danbo lose?"
"It is simple." Sun's old, bemused voice answered from behind them, and as the students parted to let him through, he added, "That is what happens when one challenges their superior."
With a motion of his staff, he bid his students to return to the dojo. Danbo collected himself from the floor, giving the girl a dirty glare before he disappeared behind the temple door.
"Now then..." Sun suddenly began, turning his attention on the girl, who snapped at attention in response to his gaze. Now that he had the chance to analyze her, he could see that she looked to be around the age of eleven, and wore what seemed to be clothing from his dojo. (He would have to address that later...)
"Tell me, what is your name?"
"Hou Mei, sir." The girl dutifully replied.
"Fitting." He thought, before continuing.
The next question was hard for Sun to ask, though he suspected that he already knew the answer.
"You are far too young to be here alone, where are your parents?"
"I dunno." Hou simply replied, betraying no emotion on the matter.
Just as he had feared.
"And where do you live? Who takes care of you?"
"The nice people of the village do!" She happily replied.
"Why do you keep coming here?"
"Because I was inspired by a public demonstration that I saw, and I wished to learn."
"Interesting..." Sun mumbled, idly stroking his beard.
"And why then, did you not simply ask to join us?"
"Because I had nothing to give you in return..." The girl replied, ashamedly squirming where she stood.
"I'm very sorry for all of the trouble I've caused you, mister. I'll stop bothering you if that's what you-Ack!"
Hou's apology was suddenly interrupted by the sharp pain of Sun's staff tapping her head.
"Fool." The old man simply stated, withdrawing his staff.
"Tell me; do you truly wish to learn kung fu?" Sun asked, with old, wizened eyes that studied every movement the girl made.
Clenching her fists , Hou desperately replied "Yes! More than anything!"
"Very well..." Sun tiredly sighed, as he began to shuffle back to the warm comfort of his dojo, before looking back at the hopeful youth.
"I will permit you to stay here and learn, but know that I do this not because I expect anything in return, nor out of pity for you, but because I wish to know how far you can go. If at any moment, I think that you shall not live up to my expectations, I shall kick you out, do you understand!?"
It took Hou a moment to take in what he had said, but as realization dawned on her, she began to cry tears of joy.
"T-Thank you sensei! Thank you!" She excitedly cried.
And as Sun hurried through in an attempt to hide the smile that spread on his face, he called over his shoulder,
"Good. Now get inside, you look a mess."
Extra / Misc: Perhaps as a byproduct of her training, or perhaps because of some strange, inherent ability, alcohol has some "interesting" effects on her fighting abilities.
Due to an "incident" involving three cups of rice wine and a dispute between her and a gang of 15 armed ruffians, which caused nearly 300 silver worth of damage, it is forbidden by law to serve Hou Mei of the Shiga clan any form of alcohol within the Shiga Prefecture.

  • 5cdc0aaba09af838294701904a83d5cc.jpg - Han Haruhi -

    Age: 18 years old
    Family lineage: Direct lineage
    Bonded with: TBD
Reason for contract: "Other then searching for the Ground Cherry Lantern, I could learn more about Ayakashi and their ways."
Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry: "Maybe if I give this to my family, I can get out more."
Stance on Ayakashi:"...I have no personal reasons to dislike them..."
    + Talking with the locals:
For research purposes, she will talk with the locals. Including the Ayakashi once she has a contract, believing that it will lead her to the true name of her target.

    + Spiritual Writing - "Trap":
By writing 'Trap', the ayakashi will be caught inside a sphere. This is an easy skill to have and use; however she has a time limit depending on how strong the ayakashi are. She can catch the weak ones but the strong ones...are less likely to be caught.

    + Spiritual Writing - "Return":
By writing 'Return', the ayakashi will return to Ukiyo. To her, it feels like pushing a stuck sliding door but with spiritually energy. She could do it if the ayakashi is weaker but it's questionable with strong ones.

    + Spiritual Writing - "Purification":
With the true name of the Wasuremono, she can free them and they'll retrieve their past memories before going back to reincarnation. This is the hardest skill she has and that's if she has the true name to begin with.
+ Hair: Dark brown, silky to the touch, it's down to her shoulder blades but she usually has it up in a bun or braid crown of sorts. She would add kanzashi or hair combs to pin her front and side fringes up and out of her face.

+ Eyes: A soft, almost pastel green hazel color.

+ Skin: Pale with a natural blush on her cheeks. She does put a bit of natural eye shadow and lip color on.

+ Body: She's petite. Around 5"3' and weighs 119 lbs.
    + Proper:
Ever since she was little, Haruhi had to be proper all the time and cannot relax unless she was alone. Even then, she still had to be a lady. This makes it hard for her to have personal and intimate moments with friends and family.

    + Sheltered:
Since she is part of the main branch of the family, Haruhi mostly stayed inside because of her studies and practices. However she didn't make that many friends and whenever she got interested in knowing someone like a long lost cousin, everyone within the main branch will steer her away. She's also amazed by the simple things that common folk (or people who don't have spiritual powers) have going for them. Same with Ayakashi when she starts seeing them.

    + Naive:
She's not well versed to some social cues. Like if someone is very sarcastic, she won't get it and take it seriously.

    + Book Smart:
She would look into scrolls and notes in case she missed something or needed a clue. This makes her knowledgeable about the other clans and their specialties; same with her family's history and Spiritual writing skills. Though she prefer to read children's adventure scrolls for fun.

    + Curious:
Haruhi isn't afraid to ask a question if it's something she wants to know. Same with trying somethings out. So she might be copying someone's actions just to see why this person would do said thing.
Her parents have planned everything out for her since the day she was born. They made sure she would learn several skills like cooking, tea ceremonies, flower arranging, and (when they found about her temporary sight on Ayakashi when she was a child) Spiritual writing among other things; all to be a perfect lady to be paired off in an arranged marriage someday. That's all they boost about her, that she will be a perfect example of being a lady and wife...

And it's not what she wants to do.

While she follows her family's wishes and listen to their directions, Haruhi have moments where she wishes to get out of her home and just enjoy a walk. Without anyone stifling her and looking over her shoulders. When she was a child and still had her 'Sight' on Ayakashi, she would sneak out of the family's household borders and enjoy her day strolling around mindlessly. The next day she tried again, her parents have caught her sneaking away and closed the hole so she wouldn't be able to leave anymore. Since that day forward, her parents kept their grip around her even tighter.

When she heard about the mission to find the Ground Cherry Lantern, Haruhi volunteered to go immediately, declaring that she will bring it for the clan's honor; in reality it's her one chance to be free from her parents' controlling grasps.
    + Loves:
    • Snow
    • Cherries
    • Hot pot
    • Trying out new and strange food
    + Dislikes:
    • Summer heat
    • Not knowing what to do
    • Bitter Teas and Tea Cermonies
    + Fears:
    • Never seeing the sun again
    • Falling from high heights
    + Random Facts:
    • When she sleeps, she snores a soft whine as she breathes out.
    • She lost her Sight when she was eight but with the hopes of having a contract, she would be able to see again.
    • She likes to write Haikus in her free time
    • She can't fold her clothes neatly; oddly messy

Basics
"It is rare to talk about myself, so my deepest apologies if I bore you."
Age || 200
Gender || Male
Yokai Type || Kitsune
Rank || B
Bonded With || @Pyosimros

Personal
"My, my... It is odd for one to ask so many questions in one day."
Reason for Contract || "They are utterly intriguing. Although I did not have someone whom I specifically went to... ahem, observe from a close distance, I thought I would also follow my sister, Meiko, in finding a human to communicate to."
Although he does aim to use his contract as a way to more easily obtain the Ground Cherry, Toshio also holds another reason: to learn about humans, and there's no better way to learn except to find a human yourself.
Reason for Wanting Ground Cherry || "I do not often believe in superstitions such as this, but... I am desperate."
Being heir to the Hayashi family, Toshio at a young age had accepted all the responsibilities that came as successor. Despite telling himself that he would go along with his family's wishes, there was a part of him that still wanted to be able to make his own choices - similar to Meiko. She was a troublemaker from the start, and he made sure to be there for her when nobody else wasn't. But he was never one to make trouble himself. Obligations always held him back. But if there was really such a thing as a wish-granting cherry, maybe one day he could just leave all his burdens behind.
Abilities || Electrokinesis
Toshio is able to create electricity through his tails (nine in all) and his mouth. The power and control he has over it depends both on his mental and physical state. If he's enraged, he can release enough to severely shock the few unfortunate people within five feet of him.
Illusions
Like any other kitsune, Toshio is able to create illusions. He can use it on himself to appear as another, or conjure a person or thing that isn't there. While he has a good amount of time when appearing as someone else, creating anything such as food that in reality does not exist lasts only up to ten minutes. He hasn't much practice, as he hasn't seen any need for it up until this point.
Shape-shifting
While he does prefer his human form, Toshio is able to transform into a black nine-tailed fox, the opposite color of his sister. He can switch from human to fox quickly and with ease. In-betweens such as a human with fox ears and tail is rare for him, though he can do it.

Biography
"Ah, is it possible to move on? ...No? How unfortunate."
History || The Hayashi family had been blessed. Two beautiful kitsunes, and twins to match had been born. Their parents were overjoyed, and everyone relating to them as well. However, they learned that only one was a blessing, while the other was merely a curse hidden in beauty. The blessing? None other than Toshio.
He was always the more obedient of the two. Quiet, studious, serious, and obedient - everything his family looked for in a child and heir. The older he grew, the more responsibilities he earned and the less time he had to spend playing games and doing frivolous things with his sister and other children his age. But he thought it was because he "had" to, unless he wanted to become a disappointment in the eyes of the elders, and he never wanted to burden anyone with the shame he would bring.
Toshio was well aware of the constant disapproval that Meiko had from their parents and the elders. He was always conscious that she was compared to him in every way. Why she couldn't be more responsible, why she couldn't stop wasting time with her "games", why she always had to act like a child and why she couldn't act more mature like him. It didn't only hurt her, it hurt him as well. While he couldn't outwardly fight back the criticism, he had another way: siding with Meiko.
He took full responsibility for everything that she did wrong, and always praised her when he recognized that she gave it her all, even if others didn't. No matter if the elders saw her as a nuisance and disappointment - she would always be his sister and that was enough.
As the twins grew older, it became more and more apparent who was tied down and who was free. While Meiko would sneak out to the waking realm to interact with humans and become acquainted with a particular boy, Toshio's work felt neverending and his free time nonexistent. It would be several years after Meiko's infamous first run into the waking realm would he then step foot into it himself, in search of a human after hearing word of the "Ground Cherry".
Personality || A stoic and dignified individual, Toshio tries to take everything in stride. He is somewhat of an old man in nature due to being constantly around the Hayashi elders, and is incredibly formal. He speaks to everyone excluding Meiko as if they were simply acquaintances, even to those he has known for years. He tends to be very reserved, and although he can socialize, he isn't as eager to meet new people unless he has a reason for it. Idle chitchat isn't something he gets, and he feels the need to always be doing something - be it work, making sure Meiko and her partner don't set fire an entire city, or anything else. However, if you manage to gain his trust and friendship, he clings on and won't go unless you forcibly shake him off. Even so, it'll probably take several bottles of fox repellent before he gets the message.
Despite his confident demeanor, Toshio is insecure and is easily stressed. He will sugarcoat unless prodded into what he actually thinks, and that in itself is difficult. Unlike his brash and loud-mouthed twin, Toshio is practical and much more mature. He's been in the shadows when it came to the waking realm, and not many know of him except for those closest to his sister. Even so, he's perfectly content to let his sibling have the spotlight - it was the reverse back at home and it was high time that Meiko was allowed to enjoy herself to what she always wanted. Her happiness was his. Unfortunately, as dependable and self-denying as he is, Toshio is slowly reaching a point where he would sacrifice even his twin to get out of the "hell" he had willingly placed himself in and to feel the freedom that everyone else seems to have.
Other ||Toshio's favorite food is fried tofu.

"Failure at some point in your life is inevitable, but giving up is unforgivable."

~ Akiyama Misaki ~
❀ Basics // 基本
Name: Akiyama Misaki
Age: Unknown
Yōkai Type: Kosenjōbi
Rank: B
Bond: TBA

❀ Appearance // 外観

"The fairest maiden on the land! Who is it? Me! "

Misaki bears the appearance of an averagely tall young woman, 165 cm in height. Her hair is a shade of dark brown, though often appearing as black upon certain lighting. They are usually tied to the back in a single low ponytail, going as far to the mid of her back. Her eyes are a shade of icy blue, though occasionally can be seen in a blaze, like that of a midnight lantern. It was shown to be the same color of her demon fire form.

❀ Personality // 人柄

"Why the long face? You almost look worse than a kappa. No offense. "

While appearing mature and collected, Misaki is really far from that. Her well made facade is known to shatter within a snap of a finger, the image of a long haired hime-sama, especially upon the appearance of anpan (Japanese red-bean steamed buns). Misaki is known to have a childish side of her, being known to be particularly fond of teasing people and occasionally pulling pranks.

In the inside, however, Misaki claims to be a lonely figure. Ever since her incident, she had lamented for so long she forgot how it felt to have a family. She is known to have a darker side of being secretly judging as well, despite the smile she puts on her face.

❀ Background // 身元

"It started a long. . . looong time ago. . . no! Don't sleep yet! "

A Kosenjōbi is born from the death of soilders, from battlefields where blood were shed- or sometimes, from the death of men. The souls collected, reanimating themselves into a human form, or as some would prefer to call a vengeful spirit.

Long ago, there was once a old man who could not bear a child. Despite his pleads and prayers, efforts were laid in vain as he approached his fifty years of age, alone with his wife without a son nor daughter to care for, cherish, and extend his legacy. Regardless, he lived happily with his beloved wife, every day cherishing each other's presence as if days were their last.

One day, as the old man wandered, he heard the cries of a young baby. The baby was found underneath a once withered cherry blossom, only to sprout its first bloom the moment she first laughed upon the man's touch. She was then brought into his home, living with his wife, before she was given the name Misaki (meaning: beautiful blossom), as the place she was found.

The family lived happy for a long time, and Misaki soon grew into a beautiful young woman. The old man and his were were now old, yet she never grew tired of loving them. Misaki has also then long became the flower of her village- many asked her hand in marriage. She fell in love with a young man, too. It was all perfect for the young maiden, and by the age of 22 she was engaged to the love of her life. Only things were not as perfect as it seemed.

A night before her wedding day, her house was raided. Nothing more than lowly burglars, yet caught by surprise in his sleep, the old man screamed. Blade pierced his heart in an attempt to silence him, and soon followed his wife. Blood painted that night- what had been intended the most beautiful of her life. Scarlet trickled the floor, guiding the lost young maiden towards the front of their door- and how she screamed.

If people had thought that perhaps the young girl was spared, oh how they were mistaken. Not a moment to spare, not a single hint of remorse by those vile men as they watched pools of burgundy swimming around her, the poor maiden gasping for her final breaths. Not even a second glance as her fiance tried to fight back, screaming at her name.

'Satoshi. . . '

The moment Misaki reopened her eyes, it felt just as though it was yesterday. She was unaware of how long time have passed since the world faded from her eyes- breath escaped her lungs. Little did she know, of course, behind the truth of the world she have just missed along the decades spent in lament. The now reborn maiden, a yōkai, is now forced to carry out her possibly endless life, being a Kosenjōbi: born from the blood of her own and all her loved ones. It was a curse she had to bear, one that forces her into an eternal grieving, never healed by time. It was not her choice. . . or could it be?

❀ Abilities // 能力

"You wanna see a magic trick? Now you see me now you. . . don't! "

Misaki is able to transform herself into wisps of blue fire orbs, enabling her to fly and move swiftly. Other than that, she is also able to take control of said blue fire in her human form as a form of energy channeling. However, excessive use of said power may tire her as it was her very own energy she was using. In such a case, she is expected to recharge and rest to gather her strength back. Another ability of hers is that she can seem to sense danger nearby, perhaps in contribution to her kind.

❀ Extra // 余分
Reason for contract: TBA
Reason for wanting the Ground Cherry: Bringing back her loved ones.
Stance on Humans: Misaki is known to be very friendly to humans and can be described as a fun company to be with (well, if only she could actually interact with them). However, it would be mistaken to say she isn't casting her eyes on you at all times. . .

[/div][/div]
[div class=thebox][div class=title][div class=h1]貌—Appearance[/div][/div][div class=contentscroll]Standing at an even height of 150 cm (~5'0), one wouldn't expect Xiāoyīn to have such presence.

✾ Perhaps it's her perfect poise and posture, chin lifted slightly with a certain proudness to her visage.
✾ Perhaps it's the way her grey eyes stare straight into another's with unwavering composure, almost as if they were amused by what they witnessed.
✾ Perhaps it's the thin smile across her round face, framed with sheen violet locks, making her look too placid. Too docile. Too unassuming.

[/div][/div]
[div class=thebox][div class=title][div class=h1]個性—Personal[/div][/div][div class=contentscroll]Xiāoyīn, under her polite and reserved smile, is a fiercely determined individual. She takes pride in her achievements, despite the hurdles in her life, and hates being underestimated and demeaned simply for her muteness. That is not to say that she does not know her limits, for she is fully aware there is always room to improve, and she is constantly motivated by the need to prove herself.

She has a hidden rebellious streak, often times adventuring out of their estate without notice. Xiāoyīn doesn't goof off—she simply finds a secluded area outdoors to practice and practice, because even though she despises her family, she is still passionate about dancing and music.

Among guests and strangers, it seems Xiāoyīn is willing to respectfully give her attention to their conversation. No one is quite sure if she is genuinely interested or not, but it seems to result in the desired effect, for no one mentions their offence.

Her lack of communication and general aloofness prevents her from bonding with others. She doesn't seem to take any mind to her isolation, for her drive towards improvement has kept her occupied for most of her life, taking up her long, long days. She isn't quite sure what to do with people when she's thrust into non-professional interaction. She tends to be wary and attempts to formulate a plan of escape, as conversation always ends up tiring her.

[/div][/div]
[div class=thebox][div class=title][div class=h1]來歷—History[/div][/div][div class=contentscroll]Born with the gift of sight, Xiāoyīn had a life planned out for her.

Early on, she showed promising signs, with a voice that could sing with near perfect intonation and a body that could move with such fluidity and control that her clansmen doted on her constantly.

Then, one day she had been spirited away. it had been days until they found her once again, but the encounter had scarred the girl for life.

Physically.

Left on her neck were long gashes, scabbed over and mottled with black and blue. Even with the extensive healing of the clan's onmyōji, her vocal chords were damaged beyond repair.

Xiāoyīn, silenced, would watch as they threw her away, promising her younger brother the position of head of the family, for what good was she now if she had been deprived of her main source of power?

And so Xiāoyīn continued her life in suppressed bitterness, seemingly content when they whispered their disappointment and pity behind her back.

She could have tolerated it. Her bubbling resentment could stand to be contained. She didn't care if her chances of marriage were ruined because of her marred skin and absent voice, or if her place in the festivals were now on the sidelines.

But when it came to her prowess in onmyōdō, she cared. She cared perhaps a bit too much when they had no faith in the possibility of her forming a contract, thinking it impossible.

[/div][/div]
[div class=thebox][div class=title][div class=h1]陰陽道–Onmyōdō[/div][/div][div class=contentscroll]abilities
✾ Xiāoyīn has been raised since birth to hone her skill in song and dance to perfection, even with her voice impaired. With their techniques she is able to open pathways to Ukiyo to lead back lost Ayakashi. However, due to her muteness, her power is lacking and requires at least one other individual for vocal accompaniment, and occasionally dancing, when song is not enough. Her own skill in dance and instrumentals are still exceptional, though, and her acute knowledge in theory paired with her fervent passion makes her work quite exceptional.

✾ She is no stranger to playing the aggressive pieces used for expelling Shi-gai and will often play in the ensembles when exorcising as support. She has successfully improvised songs to evoke certain moods in the case of Wasuremono, though she has not yet been sent out for these missions, so she is unsure of her capability in such fields.

✾ Xiāoyīn picked up sword dancing early on when ceremonial dancing became too mundane for her tastes. It is her preferred style of dance, and has improved her handling of blades, to the point where she is confident enough to catch a falling blade.

✾ Thanks to her main form of communication being in the written form, Xiāoyīn is able to get away with lies fairly easily.

[div class=thebox][div class=title][div class=h1]心—Core[/div][/div][div class=contentscroll]motives ✾ Xiāoyīn's main reason for a contract is to prove her family wrong, to show how capable she is. She's considering going ahead and forming a contract without supervision, though that's potentially dangerous...

wish ✾ Does she want her voice? Revenge? Power? No one would ever guess.

ayakashi ✾ Xiāoyīn has a bit of a neutral stance on Ayakashi. She's never quite conversed with one for an extensive amount of time, and she generally avoids interaction from both Ayakashi and humans.

[/div][/div][div class=thebox][div class=title][div class=h1]雜–Miscellaneous[/div][/div][div class=contentscroll]✾ Xiāoyīn has developed a system of signs and (musical) licks for use among her attendants and close family members. The phrases are fairly basic.
✾ She carries a pad of paper and a stick of charcoal with her for communication with others, but not everyone is literate and not everyone has patience, so she prefers not to communicate with people.
✾ Her preferred instrument was the yaogu, though she has since moved on to the dizi, as singing became obsolete for her. She'd like to try the tonkori one day.
✾ Favorite Dish: Bang Bang Chicken. Spice Level: max.
