My name is Stormee and I am in my mid twenties. I have been on gaia for 12 years in total now and have been writing as a hobby since I could write. I have 2 Bachelors degrees, one in psychology focusing on cognitive research and another in sociology focusing on social stratification and inequality. I minored in creative writing focusing on fiction. I hold many academic interests and thus enjoy roleplays and roleplay partners that enjoy discussing the logic of the world as we create it around our characters. Gymnastics/dance and music also both hold a high importance in my life and can play a roll in my approach to creating and playing certain characters and plots.
♡I prefer roleplays that are casual, small group roleplays (2-4 people).
♡There was a time when I was into the 3-5 paragraph replies thing. Now, I just want quality over quantity. Short, substantive replies keep the story moving and developing at a good pace during action scenes and dialogue. Long replies are needed ♡ too though for world building and establishing various elements of the plot/environment. I trust you to post what is necessary! Just give me something to work with
♡ I can't always get on everyday, but some days I want to roleplay for hours at a time and like it if doing back and forth replies together is a possibility for my partner. I usually post 1-4 times a day on average but some days can do 20. I like my partner to also occasionally have those times dip that we can actively respond to one another.
♡ 18+ please. I enjoy exploring mature themes and as an adult, I do not feel comfortable role-playing with minors.
♡ I tend not to base my roleplays around pairings. Call me a little old school, but I came from a time where roleplays were centered around an idea for a world, so I just tend not to think about roleplays that way. Although, I do enjoy romance finding pairings once the world/plot is established.
♡ I always play multiple characters. I mostly prefer playing male and as a result, most my characters are male. I am willing to play most my male characters in mxf or mxm relationships depending on the characters. I usually have at least one female character at a time as well.
♡ Drama is great in roleplays, not in real life. :3

1. Post Apocalyptic Epidemic Roleplays (usually neurological epidemics that result in a "zombie" like behavior) are my shit, and I haven't been in one in a while. I have ideas for my own post apocalyptic situation, but I also really enjoy the way the virus works in a late 2000s video game called Left 4 Dead. If you aren't familiar with those games, it's totally fine and not needed for the rp. Basically a flu like epidemic (with some unique mechanics I want to try out) attacks and takes control of the brain causing erratic and aggressive behavior. They aren't rotting zombies like The Walking Dead, but infected individuals who are practically rabid/out of it but can be killed like any other human being. If you have a love of post apocalyptic settings, having your characters fight against the odds for survival facing physical and emotional hurtles, psychological drama, romance, and adventure... Hit me up!
2.This one is about 3 brothers and the people closest to them. The brothers grew up in an abusive home suffering severe but varying traumas which resulted in them being taken away from their home in the small Georgia river town and placed into foster care. I figured we could start in college-age. The oldest and youngest brother team up and start getting into a dangerous lifestyle, selling "products" to try to survive. Addiction can potentially be a major theme as well as overcoming emotional trauma and learning how to form relationships and make a way in the world. The oldest and middle brother are available and open to romance. I figured this would be a psychological drama/romance/thriller roleplay.
3. The final craving I'm having is really open to brainstorming. It originated from the idea, What if someone from the past suddenly appeared in modern times (kinda like 4400 if that helps)? Who would help them? What would little think? How would they adjust? Could they find love?
I was thinking that there are multiple cases throughout history of people just vanishing. They were dismissed in that time period, and overall doesn't leave an impression on must. Then suddenly people who had vanished in their lifetime were appearing in 2017.
We could discuss conflicts and the government's approach to dealing with it and how this effects the characters. For example, I would have two characters, a male from 1865 and a female from 2017. I would be happy to play another male character for a romantic pairing with your character. Let know what you need!
