'What a unique name...' That wasn't the first time he'd heard that phrase, nor will it be the last. But he didn't really mind being placed under that title. In fact, he liked the sound of it and -if we're being honest- no one would make a better Lennox than this one. Noticing the light tint of red quickly spreading over her cheeks and the bridge of her nose, he briefly contorted his face into a crinkled amusement as he pursed his lips together in an effort to stifle his laugh. He wasn't quiet sure of what she was thinking, but it couldn't have had anything to do with his name. This was probably the first time he'd ever seen a girl blush without the slightest of advance from him, but he wasn't going to bother pointing it out to spare her the embarrassment. In all likeliness, she was already well aware of it. "Thanks. I wish I could say the same for you, but Crystal's a beautiful name all the same." He replied as he pulled his left hand out from his pocket and brushed a tuft of his dark hair from his face and placed his behind his ear.
As she tore her gaze from him and mentioned the Caster Academy in Emerisia, Lennox's brows shot up high in piqued interest. First, they ran into each other, now he finds out they're both headed in the same direction? What were the odds? Definitely in his favor, that's what... professionally speaking of course. Lennox was the type to use others to his advantage, and this certainly was an opportunity handed to him on a silver platter. But as manipulative and determined as he was, he understood that she was also very much human. That being said, she had her own say, and if she didn't approve, he'd have to work hard to convince her. Oh, how great would it be to learn from an Ice Caster... the princess of Arabella, no less.
"As a matter of fact, I am. I arrived here a day ago from the Old Country due to early acceptance." He explained as he folded his arms over his chest once again, his eyes flickering with a hardly noticeable boyish mischief as he looked around like she had. If there was one thing Lennox was good at, it was getting what he wanted. And what he wanted was Crystal... as his mentor, is what he meant. Seeing as though Cyprus wouldn't meet him in Emerisia until he settled his business in Laudier -a small chain of fishing provinces south of Albey- he figured a bit of honing was called for. And who better than Crystal? After that boost spell she used during the fight, he was more than interested in what she had to offer. Upon hearing about her arrangements to stay in the district, Lennox nodded slowly figuring this was his chance. "Well, if that's what you're planning to do, there are quite a few inns down by the Hot Spring Grotto. They're much cheaper than anything you'll find up north." He retorted dismissively; he didn't want to push the suggestion, after all.
