Fantasy Ice Casters of Albey [PRIVATE]

'What a unique name...' That wasn't the first time he'd heard that phrase, nor will it be the last. But he didn't really mind being placed under that title. In fact, he liked the sound of it and -if we're being honest- no one would make a better Lennox than this one. Noticing the light tint of red quickly spreading over her cheeks and the bridge of her nose, he briefly contorted his face into a crinkled amusement as he pursed his lips together in an effort to stifle his laugh. He wasn't quiet sure of what she was thinking, but it couldn't have had anything to do with his name. This was probably the first time he'd ever seen a girl blush without the slightest of advance from him, but he wasn't going to bother pointing it out to spare her the embarrassment. In all likeliness, she was already well aware of it. "Thanks. I wish I could say the same for you, but Crystal's a beautiful name all the same." He replied as he pulled his left hand out from his pocket and brushed a tuft of his dark hair from his face and placed his behind his ear.

As she tore her gaze from him and mentioned the Caster Academy in Emerisia, Lennox's brows shot up high in piqued interest. First, they ran into each other, now he finds out they're both headed in the same direction? What were the odds? Definitely in his favor, that's what... professionally speaking of course. Lennox was the type to use others to his advantage, and this certainly was an opportunity handed to him on a silver platter. But as manipulative and determined as he was, he understood that she was also very much human. That being said, she had her own say, and if she didn't approve, he'd have to work hard to convince her. Oh, how great would it be to learn from an Ice Caster... the princess of Arabella, no less.

"As a matter of fact, I am. I arrived here a day ago from the Old Country due to early acceptance." He explained as he folded his arms over his chest once again, his eyes flickering with a hardly noticeable boyish mischief as he looked around like she had. If there was one thing Lennox was good at, it was getting what he wanted. And what he wanted was Crystal... as his mentor, is what he meant. Seeing as though Cyprus wouldn't meet him in Emerisia until he settled his business in Laudier -a small chain of fishing provinces south of Albey- he figured a bit of honing was called for. And who better than Crystal? After that boost spell she used during the fight, he was more than interested in what she had to offer. Upon hearing about her arrangements to stay in the district, Lennox nodded slowly figuring this was his chance. "Well, if that's what you're planning to do, there are quite a few inns down by the Hot Spring Grotto. They're much cheaper than anything you'll find up north." He retorted dismissively; he didn't want to push the suggestion, after all.

The moment Lennox suggested an inn he knew that was somewhere close, Crystal couldn't help herself but just smile. "Wonderful." She said with a grin as she clasped her hands together. Crystal knew she could convince her grandfather easily to stay at the inn within this district instead of somewhere closer to the Academy, he surely wouldn't mind especially since Lennox did mention about it being cheaper than anywhere near north. She never understood her grandfather's attitude regarding money, he was wealthy, could spend his money on anything whenever he wanted. Yet he was so frugal despite it all, he would rather save them, buy cheaper items, argue with the clerk to lessen the price they were selling and more as long as he can save his money. She was happy to hear that he too would be going to the same Academy she's heading, which only meant they would spend more time together in the near future. That was something Crystal's very excited about. She looked up ahead at her grandfather that was engaged in a conversation with the clerk, Crystal was more than sure he was in a middle of a debate to lessen a price of a certain item he wanted. "Excuse me. I will be quick." She said softly to Lennox with another sweet smile before marching towards her grandfather's direction.

"Alright! Alright! You can get it with 20% off." The clerk said in a lazy tone, obviously he just wanted to get rid of the annoying old man who won't stop arguing. "What? Only twenty? C'mon!" Gaspar frowned and folded his arms over his chest. Oh great, this only meant he was more than ready to stand ground till he gets the discount he wanted. Knowing this would take forever, Crystal handed the clerk a large sum of coins and quickly pulled her grandfather away before he can scold her about 'wasting money on something he can get cheaper'.

"He knows of a inn somewhere close by the Hot Spring Grotto...Wherever that place may be." Crystal said as she pulled her grandfather closer, now they stood across from Lennox again. "Isn't that right Lennox?" She glanced at him hoping he gets the message that she wanted him to help her convince Gaspar to take the inn he mentioned earlier.

If everything goes as planned, not only will she finally know someone in the Academy she was about to attend to but also gain herself an ally, a friend, companion. That's the first thing her father always taught her: "Know your enemies, grow your allies." Being the king of Arabella, he always had problems trailing him, some seeking the ruin of his reign, others just wanting the kingdom to be a democracy instead of monarchy. But because of his allies and friends was he able to uphold his position as king, his kindness rule above all else capturing the hearts of Arabella's citizen and chose him to remain in position as king for as long as he lived. Crystal knew that simple little importance he taught her, and how one person can make a huge difference. Just like earlier with the bandits, odds are without him helping her things would've gone on a different turn. Plus having Lennox around wouldn't hurt, if anything Crystal would have love that.

"Is that so?" Gaspar said in his normal raspy voice, his eyes locked on Lennox.
