It's a primal bow, I took the idea from something I saw at a museum and combined it with something I saw in Tomb Raider.

I basically took several lengths of Cherry wood and let them dry in the bark to allow for later shedding to preserve the wood inside. I'm using simple nylon string for the binding by taking and making repeated loops around each individual spar of cherry in a loop then wrapping extensions and repeating. The process to rebind the bow took a few hours but it's entertaining busy work. I've yet to Fletch my own arrows but I've managed to fire straight branches two hundred feet so far at a level incline with no breeze one way or another. Entertained me quite a bit.
