ARC I: The Hunter Exam
670
Set twenty years before the anime/manga, the world has begun to go dry of its most fabled hunters, even the most skilled do not last long in the perilous world of today. Beasts run rampant, criminals aplenty and the only solace for the common folk is found within the walls of cities and a scarce few areas. Many aspiring hunters hang up their dream, afraid of what cruel fate lingers should they pursue the life. The world is desperate for a new generation to take up a torch and pave the way for the Hunter occupation, to explore the world and answer its greatest questions.

There are those who are perhaps insane, nuts or confident in their abilities, fueled to seek answers and become a hunter. Though a rare breed of today, can this group face its challenges and prosper in this world of danger? Or will they falter against the challenges?

Their first challenge awaits them in the notorious Hunter Exam.

RULES
- Typical RP stuff (No metagaming, powergaming, blah, blah)
- RP Etiquette: Letting everyone keep up, don't turn this into a 1x1
- Make sure you try and involve everyone, it sucks to be excluded!
- While note a rule, I would suggest you keep away from situations of player vs player combat that might result in one of the character's dying or being incapacitated (this is so we can avoid toxicity and a general mess. NPCs are free to slaughter all you want though). There will be one exception of this later in the rp, but that will be discussed.
- If you do not post for a week without an explained absence, your character will fail the Hunter's Exam. (I will be rather lenient though)
- Try to post 2-3 times a week. Tough for some, but I want to keep this rp moving at a good pace.
- You will be rewarded on staying true to your character and being realistic
- Be a cool cat
- Have fun!

NPCs
There are four types of NPC enemies that will be indicated in my posts:
[Stage 1 NPC]
Is a standard, weak NPC (often faceless). You may take these on freely and control them. They can be defeated in one post. Though these NPCs are weaker, you cannot take on a group of them single-handed.
[Stage 2 NPC]
A stronger NPC that will be taken control of by a GM. They are about as strong as the player and may need more than one person to be effectively defeated.
[Stage 3 NPC]
Boss enemies, typically large monsters or animals. Could be the rare applicant however. Cannot be defeated alone and are played by a GM.
[Stage 4 NPC]
Currently unbeatable, don't even try. Hisoka level. Often give off signs of their strength.

An urban environment awaits the hunters.

Yorknew City, a normally sprawling place has become even more hectic over the prior days. Many aspiring hunters searching extensively the concrete jungle for the locale of the Exam. While a normal city at first, the Hunter's association has been steady to place traps and misdirection for anyone with dreams of taking the hunter exam. Getting to Yorknew was the easy part, though many still failed the phase, the weak quickly turned down by hidden proctors.

The pre-phase to the Hunter Exam was nowhere near finished, however. Successful Hunters selected by the hidden proctors were given only a large district in Yorknew to look, their job to find the exact place was not easy, of course. Many were hired to misdirect the applicants, good bartering, prior research and knowing who to trust were key skills, which was nowhere near a simple act for most. Some locations were death traps, mafia members being assigned to ambush naive applicants who were too trusting of information given to them. Those who were crafty and careful in their reconnaissance, however, were rewarded with the correct location. A dilapidated underground train station was where the Hunter Exam was to begin.

Countless applicants flooded the station, a heavy ambiance filled the room from the amount of mingling. Each Hunter before entering had received a name tag from one to four-hundred and thirty-two, some quickly hid their number while other's bestowed it proudly. The station, despite the amount of people, was rather spacious and clearly has been out of use for some time. Water dripped from the ceiling, indicating it had been raining above ground for quite some time. Mice and rats had been pushed to the corners of the station, though some were ready to pounce on food discarded by the aspiring-hunters. Despite its general openness, there were many places to keep hidden. Lurking beyond support beams was a harrowing looking man who seemed to have been keeping an eye on everyone since he arrived. The studious would know him by the name of Niko, a man who was responsible for up to forty deaths in the last Hunter's Exam. While the talking drowned it out for the most part, those with expert hearing could perhaps hear the churning of a train's engine emerging from the tunnel. The Hunter Exam was about to begin quite quickly.

You are one of these hunters. Along your journey to Yorknew you have been taught one consistent piece of advice: make allies and make them quick.

Faas Moller
The silver-haired man lingered against a patch of moss, it was the first sight of vegetation he had seen in this district of Yorknew and it brought him great comfort. Ever since he had found out the exam would take place in Yorknew, he had been dreading it, almost dropping out of the race. He had dearly hoped it would be in a forest, surrounded by trees and wildlife, with a clean breathable air. This whole place made him sick, he was struggling adapting to breathing in this thicker oxygen, at least compared to what he was used to in NGL. Every now and then, he would mutter a cough, but he would try to keep it quiet, he knew it was a sign of weakness and that he would punished later on for it, but it was hard to cover it up when he was so pale and tired looking.

Though a little under the weather, he still kept a stead eye on everyone else. He had spoken with a awkward seeming lady named Yulia and her companion Aksel. There was something off about the two, but he was not exactly sure, he wanted to trust Yulia, but her friend but him on edge. A larger man named Tonpa had also offered him something for his cold, but it had a pungent smell and a mere sniff indicated it would only make him sicker, he was also aware of the many traps found in the Hunter Exam.

"Here's your number for the exam." a man said handing the next person in line a tag with the number 156 on it. A girl with oranges reddish hair and eyes took it quickly, hiding the number in the palm of her hand. "Thank you, your work is appreciated!" she says with a smile. As she leaves, she does not even noticing the weird look the man gave her. Normally, she would've noticed and apologize but other thoughts were circling the girls mind. 'I'm actually here...I'm actually doing this." Before she had left for the exam she had pushed a lot of her worries and nerves deep into the back of her mind. After going through the pre-phase some of those nerves were coming back.

'Don't worry... your going to be fine.' Cilla said to herself as she skipped off the last step. She looked up from staring at the ground to the crowd of people in the cramped station. It took all of her will power not to gasp at the astounding amount of people and some of there crazy looks. She lived in a city so seeing strange people wasn't...well strange. She takes a quick glance around the room, looking at her competition. Suddenly something dawned on her something in the prelims. Make allies and make them quick. She had heard the phrase several times throughout the prelims. While she did pick up that some of the things in the hunter exams were tricks she was almost positive that this wasn't one of them. With a deep breath she readjusts her bag and puts on a smile. "Well, guess it's time to make some friends."

Sterling entered the underground tunnel. YorkNew City, grimy and sinful as it was, had been the perfect place to host the Hunter Exam. She cringed up at the water leaking from the ceiling. Sterling yanked down her fur-trimmed hood, the coat drenched with rain, from her blonde hair. The fresh stitches in her cheek stung, the discomfort was mild apart from the urge to scratch it. Some dude placed a tag with a number into her hand. She peered at disinterestedly before shoving into her pocket. Like whatever, when did she get to cut things?

The other candidates were letting their freak flags fly. Sterling gave her competition the side-eye. A man with silver hair already seemed tired even though nothing had started yet. Getting to the underground tunnel exhausted Sterling's patience too. The actual exam wouldn't involve as much grueling information gathering she hoped. While Sterling glanced around, she noticed people studying her too. A number of the participants would kill her if they thought it would give them an iota of an advantage. There were rabbits and then there were wolfs. Both types of people were there today.

She scratched her stitches but stopped after a second and frowned at her nails. Sterling pushed her hands deep into her pockets and resolved to keep them there. She strode past a large man offering sodas to people and toward a girl she spotted earlier. Time needed to be killed. A lot of Sterling’s days were spent bullshitting until she could get a Hunter’s License and find her brother. An adorable, dorky guy who murdered his friends and stole a fortune from members of the YorkNew mafia.

Sterling hovered beside the girl a moment before she turned and smiled at her. “Look at those rats? So gross, right?” Sterling said. Someone should have exterminated them prior to the exam. From what Sterling could tell, Hunters were extremely skilled and often wealthy. A little maintenance wouldn’t have hurt anyone’s pockets.

“I’m Sterling, hi,” Sterling said. Chatty was her natural state. The red-haired girl seemed like an oddball so she decided to introduce herself. A real naïve kind of person. Sterling wanted to see if she guessed correctly or not.

Sakurag Rokurouta aka Rag
For Rag this is the moment he had been waiting for, for most of his life. To Rag Yorknew city was interesting if not confusing for most of his life he lived out in the wildness in solitude so big cities were something new to him. A downside with that is that finding the place where the hunter exam was taking place took a lot of time for Rag as he found amazement around nearly every corner which ate up a lot of Rag's time that he spent searching. Still, he managed to make it and was given applicant number, he was number 207 which he guessed meant that he was the 207th hunter applicant to arrive. Upon getting the badge Rag took a look around and noticed that people did different things show put it on and showed it off while others hid it. Rag decided that he would hide it attaching it to the inside of his jacket.

Rag's mind began racing he was finally here ready to do this, was he trained enough, was he ready for this he didn't have the answer but all he knew was that they isn't any going back now. Rag decided he needed to calm his brain and as such he knew what he needed to do. Finding some space, enough for him to practice. Finding the space he needed he began practicing his arms and hands hitting the air over and over all the hits hitting the same spots in the air. Rag's eyes were shut as he was picturing the shape and size of a person around his size, simulating where these hits would be hitting over and over. While Rag knew that people would be watching him and that this would be giving away some of his moves but he wasn't doing anything advanced and just repeating the same pattern over and over. After cycling the pattern five times a slight smirk appeared on his face as his hands dropped to his side, his mind was clear.

Rag decided to head back to the larger group near the center he knew what he needed to do, judging by what he heard over and over in Yorknew city he needed to find some allies...but who to ally with he didn't want someone weak who he needed to carry the whole way but he also didn't want to be carried by someone much stronger than him. Rag didn't know what to do so, in the end, he decided he would take it easy and just go with the flow. Rag looked over his fellow applicants, shut his eyes and placed his finger in the air moving it side to side stopping a few seconds later. His finger landed on an a individual with silverish hair and that was the first person Rag would try and make his ally. Rag began the short walk over to the individual.

Rag stopped just in front of the individual and gave him a slight wave. "Yo, hows it going?" Rag said before quickly continuing. "My names Sakurag Rokurouta but please call me Rag, I want you to be my ally throughout this exam whatcha say?" Rag asked he wasn't one to beat around the bush so he decided to come right out and say it.

Min Lee had gotten here a little too early. He had honestly thought there wouldn't be many other people after him; he had been the 37th to arrive after all. But one after the other, more and more freaks were showing up, and putting on airs of importance. He couldn't believe how many loosers had made it this far. Well, it hadn't been that hard to find the place, really. After beating up a couple of idiots in the city he found it rather easily. But still, weren't hunters supposed, like, elite and stuff? How many of these morons would survive, he wondered in amusement.
However, he couldn't deny that some of the people here looked like trouble. And even more seemed so stressed out that it looked like they were looking for a fight to blow off some steam. Assholes.
For now, Min guessed that he would play dumb to save his strength. He put on his best 'frail innocent girl' act, and looked at the new arrivals with big, gentle eyes, and a small friendly smile. It was easier to be thought of as weak until things got serious.

A man had approached him earlier commenting on how such a pretty young lady must be thirsty after all that waiting, and offered him a drink with a stupid eager smile on his face. He accepted the tin can and thanked him with his perfected girly voice, and just as he was about to drink it, he stopped. Of course this was a trap, he wasn't stupid. But there was no harm in messing with this asshole a little. "Oh wait, this...", he smelled it, making sweat roll down the big dude's forehead. Min smiled deviously, but was quick to turn it into a gentle one. "I'm sorry sir Tonpa, but this has sugar, and I'm on a diet. I need to watch my figure now, don't I?", he uttered a giggle, and emptied the can's content on the floor. "But you are so kind. Maybe you could offer some to the gentleman over there, he seems pretty worn out already, the poor thing", he motioned towards the white haired dude who already seemed tired as hell. Poor bastard.

After that, he continued with his innocent girl act until something else happened. This was really starting to get boring.

#156 -Cilla Welsh
Cilla had only just started her "friend" search and was already failing terrible. She had spoke to several people trying to see if they would a good alley. Many of the people she tried to speak to would ignore her or tell her to get lost. Others however did talk to her but were obviously sketchy so she did spend much time trying to talk to them. Frustrated Cilla leans against one of the grimy walls and takes out her cell phone. There wasn't any service but she was still able to see her screen picture of her and her parents. She wondered if they had realized that she wasn't on a school trip. Most likely they hadn't and would only realize it after an entire month of her being missing, it was only a slight exaggeration. She loved her parents, but they were defiantly not parents of the year. Quickly she shuts the phone and slides it back into her bag.

As she stood there she began to get slightly impatient. Normally she wouldn't be but no one here knew what the first phase would be so it was stressing her out that she couldn't make a game plan. Thankfully, the sound of a woman's voice was able to distract her.

“Look at those rats? So gross, right?” the woman said. For a moment Cilla wasn't sure if she was talking to her or not so she gave her a confused look. When she realize the lady was talking to her a grin of a genuine happy girl appears on her face. "Yeah, they have enough money to put on these exams but not enough to hire a cleaning crew." she jokes. "However, if someone couldn't take this then they probably shouldn't be a hunter." she says relaxing back on the wall. She looks the woman up and down. She was really pretty and looked really tough. However the way she talked to to Cilla was kind and sweet. For now she would continue talking to her but not get to comfortable. "Cilla, nice to meet you." she says as Sterling introduced herself. She extends her hand hoping the woman would take the gesture.

The image that had been burned inside of his eyelids stood dormant everytime he tried to close his eyes, think of something, anything else. That look of betrayal and horror on his fathers face as he wore the cloak that he'd made for him, tampered with by his uncle. The look on everyone's faces, it was horror, complete and utter horror. Fear, confusion, sadness, god he could only imagine what his little siblings thought of him . . . Everyone in the kingdom regarded him as a traitor, everyone was after his head. His only ally was his sister, and even she couldn't get into contact with him. His uncle had probably tightened security, or God forbid, they found out about her helping him. She'd be killed . . . God his Uncle. He'd kill him, he swore to Natak he'd rip his heart out of his chest regardless of what it took! And this, this was officially Stage one of his plan. Operation Exodus, as he called it, a plan to get back at his Uncle. As he was now he was useless, he couldn't take on his Uncle in hand to hand combat, or even with a sword. Not only that he couldn't even take on the Assassins that were trying to kill him! Maybe, maybe if it was one, but with so many on his tail at once he couldn't make a move without another trying to decapitate him. Even doing this was a stretch, and he was pulling out every single card he had to be here. An Assassin could be hiding amongst this cascading sea of occupants, he needed to be careful.

"Here you go." Stated the man who was working for the exams, handing him a white badge with black numbers imprinted onto it's surface. He nodded, and gave the man a small smile, before quickly glancing at his Badge, and putting it in his inner coat pocket. #124, he thought to himself, quickly memorizing the number. He knew how dangerous the Hunter Exams were, from hearing rumors to reading things online, books, etc. etc. It may seemed as simple as just being a Badge, but if what he had gathered together was true, this Badge could either be his savior, or his reckoning. He removed his hood from his head as he entered the abandoned Subway station, and felt his mind go into overdrive as he took in his surroundings. His instincts from his time on the run from his Uncle and Assassins, while he hated it, he had to admit it had enhanced his perception and thinking skills. Whenever he went into a closed space, he'd map out any and every way he could escape, as well as anything and everything that could help in his overall survival. An empty subway station that was so old that mold seemed to be growing out of the mold, he was never a neat freak, but this was ridiculous. Water dripped from the ceiling, evident of how much it had been raining before he entered. From the corners of the stations he could catch the smallest glance of little beady red eyes glaring at him, as if daring him to oppose the mighty force that was the York New City Society of Underground Rodents, they reminded him of the eyes of a demon, but they were rodents all in all, comparable to the surrounding people . . . He couldn't see much of a difference. There was one boy, or man? He was so skinny, with dark hair and a scared look on his face. Then there was the boy with multi colored hair, a short fat man who was handing out drinks, of which he steadily declined in drinking, a Scarlet haired girl with- Was that a gun? But before he could make out the appearance of the girl, of which he realized upon further inspection that she was practically naked, he met the eyes of a rather foreboding character. Niko, or at least, that's what they called him. It was idiotic to enter something like the Hunter Exams without prior knowledge, and he'd researched on everything he could. This man popped up frequently. He'd contributed to the last Hunter Exams, and . . . He was the reason that many people died in the last Hunter Exams. Blake had thought before, on becoming acquainted with him, maybe become allies. But . . . Not yet. He had no proof that what the internet claimed was true, but if it was, then he had to keep an eye on him.

Then there were the other people he noticed as they began to enter. A young girl, very attractive as he could see, and her physique seemed to catch his eye. But what really caught his eye, was her body. Not in a weird way, but, the way she carried herself, the smalls scars on her body that would go past ones normal eye, she was tough that was for sure. As he passed her, walking with another girl with reddish hair, he smiled, and whispered in her ear, "Boo", but just like that he was gone, intertwining himself with the river of occupants once more. He wanted to see how she would react, just to get a general feel of her. Then there was the built one . . . Strong, first word to come to mind. He was tense yet calm, and seemed so . . . Authentic. He punched and kicked the air, repeating the same cycle over, and over, and over . . . He didn't need to test him. He felt as if he could already know how he'd react. Someone else caught his eye, but, for an entirely different reason. She was short, and had a slim body that stretched out at his hips, she held a strange attraction that he couldn't help but feel drawn to, but in all the wrong ways. His hormones screamed yes but his mind was stabbing him with doubt and just an intense feeling of wrong that he had no choice but to look away. There was the man that had been talking with that strong head man from before, with long silver hair, who seemed awfully tired . . . By now he had walked among a majority of the crowd, looking at each person and giving his own little judgments on them. Yes, he knew, making allies was important. Without them he knew he couldn't pass, but, to him information was just as useful as a partner. The information he could gather could be used to get him out of a bind. The people he'd seen, the grades he'd given, he felt as if that man from before, Niko, was doing the same, albeit in a different way. Blake's plan was to divide and conquer, but he seemed just fine standing there. What a strange strange man.

It wasn't until Blake had time to stop and recap, did he finally hear it. It was small, barely enough for him to think hard about it but enough to slightly register. It was a sound he had grown accustom to in the city, one that he had thought of when he realized they were in a Subway Station, but not something he thought he'd actually hear. "Train . . . " he muttered, and shook his head. No, he was crazy, no way would there be an fully functioning train in this abandoned Subway. With how run down and broken it was, considering the train itself wasn't beat up, if it was going at the speed of what a normal train would be going at, it'd still cause damage to the surrounding area, maybe even harm someone, or worse. But this was the Hunter Exams, crazy things happened here. But a Train? He tried to listen for it again, hopefully pick up on something, anything. But it wouldn't come again, there was no more sound. Maybe he'd . . . Maybe he'd imagined it? Oh dear God . . . He prayed to Natak he'd imagined it, or these people would be more insane than he had originally thought.
[/div]

Faas was more than surprised at the man's overall bluntness in his proposal. The silver-haired man looked him top to bottom, a little skeptical whether or not this was a trap or if this man named "Rag" was someone he could trust. Typically, if someone was intent on backstabbing, he would have tried to appear more sincere and instead come off fake, but this man clearly had no skill in trying to appear as such, that or he was a complete expert on deception. Faas, on the other hand, could not spot any signs of malice, he looked quite normal compared to most of the other applicants. Faas almost felt he would be insulting this man if he declined his offer, so he simply offered a slight smile, as much as he could muster under his sick belly. Reaching out his hand in camaraderie, he would offer Rag a shake of the hand.

"You really are a simple man aren't you... Well, an ally is an ally, at least you look trustworthy." Faas teased slightly, inching away from the wall slightly. "My name is Faas Moller, call me Fa if you're short on breath." Reaching into his back, he motioned to Rag a crossbow he had strung to his back, as well as a set of bolts designed for it. "I am an archer from NGL, ranged combat is my specialty... What skills do you bring to the table?"

Hina Moriya
Everything appeared, smelt, and felt all new to the somewhat lost priestess. The woman with her long, silky, black hair stood out in the town of Yorknew due to her wardrobe. Adorned in her usual attire of a kimono may have appeared a burden to many, but to Hina it was like a second skin. Many eyes followed along the priestess as she wandered through the many seemingly similar streets of Yorknew. The tension of the residents, the slight thickness in the atmosphere, and the dull color of concrete everywhere were stark contrasts compared to the hometown of the young woman. But none of this daunted her. Rather she was in awe of the city since it was like a whole other world.

"Wait, focus Hina. Hunter Exam," it may have appeared that she was a sightseer, but Hina was actually here for a different reason. To take the Hunter Exam. The priestess knew very little of the true meaning of a Hunter, but wasn't that the purpose of the exam? To show a glimpse of what it was to be a Hunter and to show others that you were made to be one?

Due to the many distractions that swayed the priestess slightly off from her path, it took a while for Hina to finally locate the place where the Hunter Exam was to take place. It was evident when she received her badge with the number 309 and from the large number of people in the decrepit train station. There were people of different ages, genders, and ethnicities. But the one thing that was common amidst everyone was the feeling of anxiousness. After all it was an exam.

As Hina made her way to the edge of the group she could feel the atmosphere thicken. Some participants were talking in small groups while others stood around with their eyes staring everyone down. Hina was unsure how she should be responding at the moment. Should she approach someone else? But wasn't everyone a rival? The thought of having anyone against her bothered Hina. But she knew that not everyone was going to be a friend. Not seeing any other option, Hina decided to try and become acquainted with someone. Perhaps then she can calm down and even start a new relationship with a person outside of her hometown.

What the priestess didn't realize was the difficulty to simply navigate through the crowd without receiving a growl or a glare. With high tensions, it seemed that majority were on the edge. At some point, someone accidentally stepped on the edge of her attire which caused Hina to stumble slightly. She took a few steps back in an attempt to catch her balance. Instead, she felt her back collide into someone else. "Oh I'm sorry. Are you alright?" Hina turned around as soon as she regained her balance to face her victim.

Long, silver hair and green eyes. The man wore a coat and an expression that appeared nervous. "Is something on your mind?" Hina was familiar with the expression he held. It was the same expression many carried when they first entered the Moriya shrine with their burdens and worries.

//Carina Lunek\\

A hollow, redundant, and metallic clank sound reverberated through the trial's entrance, paving the way for an unassuming, pink-hair girl. Carina. The source of the sound stemmed from the large poles poking out from the backpack she had on, which hung down to her knees. The girl herself carried a sort of uninterested, apathetic air to her. Her eyes, despite being a vibrant color, appeared bleak. They carried the same sort of feeling, sweeping around purely because of curiosity. No interest laid behind them.

However, they did appear to be slightly intrigued by a man who gazed back intently. He had a dutiful aura about him, and he quickly revealed his intentions. He was giving out some kind of badge, with a bold number on it. He handed her one, with the giant, black numbers that read 396. She blinked at it, pulling the number into her subconscious, and slid it into her pocket with a soft nod to the man.

She continued down to the actual abandoned subway station. She knew this was the place, being as she had been told by plenty. But it seemed… Unofficial. And a little… Grimy. A droplet of water dripped onto her nose as she thought this, and she brushed it wordlessly off. And moist, evidently… Shrugging the thought off, she made her way through the crowd via the route of least resistance.

She still had to mutter a few 'excuse me's', as she didn't want any form of grudge held against her for something as simple as a small shove. Her eyes scoped the area around her, not bothering to remember faces and only really making sure there was nothing in front of her. Thankfully, though, she managed to get to a quieter part of the room. She didn't particularly know what to do now. Should she interact with the others here? She felt her lips curl just a bit into a frown. That would imply having to approach someone… Which wasn't one of her strong suits… Carina cast her gaze around again, although this time with more intent than before.

After a few moments of looking, she sighed, finding no one she really wanted to talk to… Although, she wasn't opposed to being talked to, she supposed. She just didn't particularly want to go out of her way to speak to someone who might not even wish to be confronted. What a dilemma. In the meantime, her face remained sort of neutral, and her thoughts were disconnected from what was going on around her.

A handshake. A formal but friendly type of greeting. Having been bestowed with the social intelligence God gave cheese, Sterling gripped Cilla's hand and shook it like she had just met her future best friend. Maybe the sheltered aura Cilla gave off was an honest depiction of her personality. Sterling found genuine sweetness very cute. YorkNew was a hotbed of the seedy and the vile. Sterling considered herself a connoisseur of its secular charms as well. Wasn't the world brimming with such interesting extremes?

Like a reasonable person, Cilla seemed to consider the rats disgusting too. Her comment that anyone easily disturbed by vermin couldn't be a Hunter made Sterling laugh. A sincere chuckle that had her squeezing her abdomen. "Yeah," she said in a bright and silver tone. "A rich and successful Hunter, I hope that's me someday. Maybe I'll hire someone to sweep up YorkNew city."

A young man with vivid green eyes crossed her path. The commotion was chaotic but not enough for her to miss his intention to come closer. He whispered into her ear. A black cloud crossed Sterling's expression. She was a snake coiling. If he attempted to attack her, blood would be spilled. The young man kept walking through. Sterling glared at his back until she decided he had just been playing around. The violent energy in her shifted and tucked itself away.

"He said 'boo' to me," Sterling mumbled, to clue Cilla into what happened. "Why can't boys just say what they mean?" Whether it was an intimidation tactic or someone trying to get a gauge on her, she couldn't tell. The Hunter Exam had started already for those whose expertise lay in mind games or socializing.

Sterling glanced in his direction with a toothy grin that was too cold to be completely friendly. A striking young woman had bumped into him. Her kimono was gorgeous. Sterling envied that kind of style. She sighed at the rain-soaked coat she wore. At one time it had been free of grime and stains.

"So have you decided what kind of Hunter you want to be when this is over?" Sterling asked.

Looking around, it seemed most people had taken the 'make some allies fast' advice most got very seriously. They were already socializing and exchanging names and life stories, which Min Lee found honestly disgusting. Was everyone so eager to trust the rest? What was up with these to-be hunters?
Still, he guessed that if he was going to keep his innocent frail girl act, he needed to make people think he couldn't handle this on his own. Or her own. Maybe he could look for those who looked the most out of place, or the easiest to trick, and have them protect him until they weren't of use anymore. Yeah, that was a good plan.
With this in mind, Min started gazing at the other applicants with big, earnest eyes. He walked between the crowd looking for the perfect target. It wasn't easy, seeing as most people were probably smarter than they looked. He needed someone who had kept to themselves and seemed to be having trouble approaching others... Ah, there.
A pretty girl with the most ridiculous of looks was standing away from everyone else. Was that a... Big pole she was holding? Well, she seemed physically strong and easy to approach, which was more or less the perfect combination of traits for whoever Min decided to play with.
He nonchalantly approached her and and stood right next to the girl, looking to where she was looking in silence for a few seconds, and then turning to smile sweetly in her direction. "Hey", he spoke softly, "I think I saw you around the city when we were looking for this place. I'm glad you could find your way here", he lied with the expertise that only years of being an absolute asshole could grant anyone.

Carina had been thinking about the distance she'd traveled on her way here. Where was she when she first heard about this 'trial'? She knew she was around trees, as when she heard it she'd been picking up a leaf, but... Her train of thought was suddenly interrupted by a voice. It piped up next to her, causing her to slowly swing her head to the side to see who it was.

Hm. A girl? Or perhaps a boy..? She had no idea. 'It' approached her with a strange smile. Her mouth twitched, although that was the best she could muster for a smile back. As they continued speaking, Carina just stood and listened. The girl blinked upon hearing them mention something about seeing her around the city. That was... Unlikely. She hadn't seen this person before.

She would've remembered the strange, agendered individual... At least, she thought she would have. Generally, she remembered people who were 'unique', as they interested her. "Hmm... Strange... I haven't seen you... Before," her voice floated out of her throat, as if speaking in such a way was unfamiliar to her. Which wouldn't be too far off, although she mostly spoke the way she did because her voice just gradually gave out; she had to get her breath back and speak anew. Anyway, the girl was slightly miffed. However, she didn't seem terribly troubled over the fact. It seemed more like she didn't care, which was slightly more accurate.

"Hm . . . " Blake muttered, eyes glancing back at the crowd. That girl from before, the strong one, she was a threat. Along with that Niko boy, they were threats. Not in the fact that they were strong, no, they were threats in the fact that, they were uncontrollable, dangerous, unpredictable. They could be . . . problematic later on. Or, now that he thought about it . . . If he played his cards right they might even be assets. He'd see later on, maybe the girl, though she seemed to have already Blacklisted him. "Huh?" he asked, suddenly noticing that there was another girl there, right in front of him. He quickly did a scan over her, and cocked his head. "Hina Moriya?" he asked, his attention being brought to her. He had read up on her once, when searching for the religious beliefs of the area, as no one seemed to believe in Natak or his teachings. It was so strange, how could such a large mass of people not have even a singular person who worships Natak within it's center! But regardless, while no one seemed to know Natak, there were religions focused around other beings, other Gods and Goddesses. She was the Priestess of the Moriya lineage. What on earth was a Priestess doing in the Hunter Exams? He didn't care much for her reason, but, . . . Wow, he'd pray for her. "Well, no er, nothing on my mind, thank you." he smiled, and nodded at her. "May I ask, what is a Priestess like you doing in such an ugly distasteful place? I'd never think to see someone of such unparalleled faith in this crowd."
d to listen for it again, hopefully pick up on something, anything. But it wouldn't come again, there was no more sound. Maybe he'd . . . Maybe he'd imagined it? Oh dear God . . . He prayed to Natak he'd imagined it, or these people would be more insane than he had originally thought.

#156 -Cilla Welsh
Cilla was ecstatic when Sterling had took her hand shake. She liked Sterling. Her clothing was a little revealing for her taste, but over all she seemed like a good person. However, there was something that was bothering Cilla about Sterling's aura. She wasn't the best on detecting aura but she was able to get a general idea of it. Her aura was kind but there was a hint of bloodlust that was there. It only appeared for a moment when that boy had whispered something in her ear.

"Boo?" she whispers glancing over at him and now the lady he was with. Her and the boy intrigued Cilla. What purpose would they have coming to the exams? They had very nice attire on that she would never want to get ruined. It made her wonder what exactly there motives are...but right now she had Sterling so to taunt the boy who teased her she stuck out her tongue at him then giggled before turning back to hopefully her new ally.

"What hunter I want to be?" Cilla questions tqpping her foot. She hadn't really thought to hard into the matter of what type of hunter she wanted to be, all she knew was that she wanted to travel and protect people from the monsters and dangerous people in the world. "Well there's two different ones I'm thinking about doing. I'm a city girl so I thought about becoming a crime hunter. However I'm leaning more on being a Hacker Hunter." the girl says excitedly. Being able to talk about becoming hunter made Cilla's eyes beam with excitement. For the past 2 years she was never able to talk to anyone about her passion and had kept it on the inside with her many other hidden feelings. Talking to Sterling able her to release that passion and excitement she had been holding in for two years.

For a moment Cilla goes silent and her face becomes serious.
"Sterling I know I don't seem like a whole lot... I'm small and to be blunt not very strong, but I need an ally and right now you're the only person I want to trust right now. I don't know why though honestly. But if you would want me... would you want to be my ally?" Cilla rarely got serious about anything unless it is something really important. Despite the aura Sterling gave off, Cilla trusted her. She had a gut feeling about her. Now she could only hope that the older woman would become partners with her despite her lack of skills.

"Well, maybe you didn't notice me", Min Lee smiled gently, "but I wouldn't forget a girl like you walking around with that weapon, I think". Crap, he had gotten the wrong person for this. Looking at her up close he could tell she wouldn't fall for most of his tricks. He should've gone with a man for this. Well, whatever, the damage was done. She didn't seem to care too much, so maybe he could lead the conversation elsewhere.
"So, may I ask, what is driving you to take this exam?", he looked at her with curious, innocent eyes, looking like he actually cared. He honestly couldn't give half a flying fuck about anyone here, but he needed to get on her good side.
How much longer was this going to take anyways?

//Carina Lunek\\

Carina nodded, but mentally she didn't really believe them. Then again, it was hard for her to believe a lot of things. Carina's posture was mostly relaxed as she was spoken to, despite the heavy load on her back; her posture had hardly changed at all, since the conversation began. She did blink at them a few times, though. "Weapon..?" Her voice inquired, softly. Her eyes glanced at the pack on her back.

Had she gotten out one of her signs in the city..? Her mind wondered over the possibility, but she didn't suppose she did. Did they just assume that the poles in her backpack were weapons..? Hmm... The poles poking out of the top did appear to be quite mysterious, but she had no idea... Quickly, however, she got over the fact and discarded it. This person was... Weird, but it mattered little to Carina. If they ended up doing something... Deceitful, she would just deal with it. It was trivial, really...

She wondered why some people made such a huge problem out of trifling matters. She played with the thought for a moment, before discarding that one too. Hearing the voice again, she brought her attention back to them. "Nothing, really... It just sounded.... Interesting, I suppose..." She spoke in the same drawling way, very softly. She didn't even really make eye contact as she spoke, so she barely noticed their gaze. She wondered if it would be rude not to ask something back...

Pondering the probability, her eyes flitted shut with an unintentional slowness. It was clear she paid little attention to her own actions, as nothing she did really appeared delibrate. It all just... Happened.

Hina Moriya
Once his attention was on her, he smiled and reassured her of no worries. Hina mirrored his smile, but still couldn't help but shake off the feeling that there was something troubling him. But then the man spoke her name. It was not uncommon for folks from the land of Jappon to recognize her considering the decline of shrines has shortened the number to only a handful so all the priestesses of the remaining shrines were quite well known among Jappon. What Hina was not expecting was for some other person from perhaps another region being familiar with her.

"Yes that is me. Do I know you?" the priestess wanted to speak out her question before she answered his second question, since she easily loses her train of thought. "It may appear ugly and distasteful at the surface, but looking around you can see that it once brimmed with life. And it still currently is, providing shelter for the little critters of the city. Oh sorry I'm running off on a tangent here. To answer your question I say that I am here to become a Hunter," Hina said this confidently but the young woman still did not know all what it was to be a Hunter.

She put forth another question for the man before her, "And may I mirror off your question and ask why you are here? I would not imagine a fine fellow like you would be here without a reason." Throughout her conversation, she could feel her nerves calming down and her heart racing with excitement. She began wondering if this what it was like to obtain an ally.

"Brimmed with life . . . " he muttered, eyeing the animals in the Subway Station. He couldn't lie . . . She was definitely Goddess Worthy. He believed himself to be a man of faith, following the words of Natak, reading every chapter of their Holy Novel, memorize every verse and recite every scripture, but there were things he disagreed with, faults in the text, mistakes, things that . . . Just didn't seem to fit. He was a very calm man, driven by Logic in a step by step process, everything happened for a reason, and due to this he countered his own Philosophy by being, well, himself. It was . . . Quite a cunundrum. His sister had once stated that, the reason he always was so conflicted, was because what he wanted to believe and what he already believed were like water and oil, they always countered each other, never able to co-exist at once, as Faith and Logic could not come to an agreement between each other. His faith caused him to put his very life towards that of a person he had never met or truly connected with in his life, believing a being so awesome could exist in the first place, but with that, then where would his Logic come into play? When an apple falls, it falls. When paper rips, it rips. When someone dies, they die. One thing can not not happen for no reason, other than it just can . . . Right? That was where his faith wavered, where he seemed to find a balance in the chaos of himself. Monstrous . . . But her? She wasn't like that. She seemed to be able to see the beauty in even a place like this dump. She was a true believer, and he had to respect that. But on the other hand, was she a believer? Or was it just ignorance to believe there was a light in such a darkness? But then again . . . Wasn't that the purpose of Faith?

"Ah, well, yes it is most strange isn't it?" he asked with a small smile. His attire was certainly not that of one who seemed to want to join the Hunter Exams, but this was his Royal Attire. While he liked to think and act off of his mind, of which warned him it was suicide to go in public with such attire on it was practically a beacon for assassins and mercenaries, but . . . It was his battle cloth, one of the few things he still had from the Kingdom. And it seemed fitting, off to enter the Hunter Exams, sporting the colors of the Natak. "I'm here for the same unorthodox reason as you, I wish to become a Hunter. I'd . . . I'd rather keep the focus of why for another time, possibly over tea. But, why do you want to become a Hunter? What in the world would someone such as yourself gain from becoming a Hunter?"
[/div]

As the girl spoke, Min realized that although he may not be able to deceive her, he kind of liked her attitude. She seemed to be beyond the troubles that were creeping into everyone else's mind, and her presence felt soothing. He may not be able to use her, but some company wasn't bad, as long as she didn't turn around and tried to kill him.
"I see, that's a good enough reason", he replied, easing on the girly act a little, and relaxing against the wall next to her, but leaving about an arm's length between the two. He didn't want to get that close to anyone, after all. Like that, he felt no more words were needed, unless she wanted to talk longer.
From this place, he took his time to observe the interesting people in the room a little better. She saw two girls getting friendly not too far from where he was. One of them seemed normal enough, even unprepared to take this exam. The other spelled danger with every move she made. Something about her was slightly familiar, like he'd seen her or someone very similar to her around. Maybe in Meteor City? He couldn't remember, but he'd be sure to keep an eye out for any of her outbursts. Then there was the white haired, tired looking dude from earlier, who now seemed to be making friends with... Oh shoot, that guy would've been perfect to trick into protecting sweet innocent Min Lee! Too bad he hadn't seen him earlier; honestly, he was surprised he'd missed him, he was tall and big as all hell.
Close by, was the incredible sight of two beautiful, well dressed, noble looking individuals having a casual conversation in the middle of this shit show. What those two hoped to accomplish here, he did not know. But it would be fun to see them fall off their high horses as things got tougher, that was for sure.
A smirk crossed Min's face as he thought about all that, but he was quick to hide it again. He didn't want to get on anyone's bad side just yet. When was this thing going to start, anyways?

Sterling felt her eyebrows lift when Cillia spoke of being a Crime Hunter but she seemed more drawn to becoming a Hacking Hunter. The joy in her tone when she talked about it was close to how Sterling felt about getting a Hunter license. Their dreams, through different, had the same starting line. "Yeah! Let's team up!" Sterling said. Her excitement to begin the exam reached a new height. It was a dragon that had to be slain to get what she wanted.

Cilla lined out her weakness which seemed to include combat. Sterling had difficulty wrapping her head around that, that anyone could not devote their life to strength. Cilla made it to the underground tunnel through so she obviously had some area of specialization. "I don't know the first thing about technology," Sterling confided, "but I bet you do." Knowing a future Hacker Hunter could be useful. She mostly ignored her phone apart from finding hotels and restaurants. Traveling around York New had been a pain.

Speaking to Cilla turned out unexpectedly. She was willing to trust her and Sterling felt like Cilla was also the dependable type. She had built different types of alliances over the years. They often fell to pieces at the hint of a strain. That was the way of cutthroats and thieves but Cilla was neither.

As a rookie, Sterling had no knowledge to pull from about the exam. She wondered how the large group would be tested and how many would be left standing by the end. Either way, she already decided to be one of them.

Hina Moriya
She watched him closely as he considered her words. Anyone could believe that the priestess may be trying to find a light among the dark, but she rather say she was looking at the details inside the big picture. But a slight pause from the time Hina spoke to when the man spoke piqued her interest. There must be something bothering him, but what? Her eyes began to wander to his attire. Compared to all those she has seen in Yorknew City, his was by far the fanciest. Hina didn't think much about how his clothing may be a hint to his status. After all this was her first time out of Jappon, she didn't know what quite to expect. Then finally he answered her question, but left it without a reason. Hina gave a slight nod to his answer. It was not unexpected for him not to answer why considering it would reveal some part of himself, perhaps something he wishes to keep as a secret for now.

"That is fine not to answer why. It was rather brash of me to ask. My excitement must have clouded my judgment," she smiled until the same question was asked of her. Hina straightened herself up and tilted her head slightly. The woman had a feeling of why she wanted to become a Hunter, but how she could convey it into words. Hadn't the priestess rehearsed this very question in her head for days? But suddenly all her answers were gone the moment she was in the spotlight. Deciding not to think too much into her words Hina began her answer.

"Hmm I would say that the core reason would be to have access to not only help my people but others. From where I am, shrines used to be the place where people would go to ask for help for their troubles but now it seems that they have no need to now that there are Hunters who can come to them. But I didn't want to sit and continue to wait for people to come. So that is when I decided that maybe I should start going to them. Now it is true that perhaps I don't need to become a Hunter to actually help others, but it is the admiration of the people that convinces me that becoming a Hunter is a better path. Perhaps that is a little bit of my selfish desire to be admired as well..." Hina's attention had moved from the man before her to the other participants around her, "I do believe to some extent everyone is here to fulfill a selfish desire. For me it is to help others and be recognized for it." The priestess' demeanor had changed momentarily as she spoke about her reason. Never before had she really spoken her inner thoughts. Hina was always trained to appear modest and humble at the surface, which meant never allowing her true expressions to be revealed. Somehow talking to the person in front of her made it easier for her to express them. Although that may be a mistake on her part if he becomes a rival.

"Oh I'm sorry. I blabbered on again. Uh-hum I realize that you know my name but I don't believe I have ever learned yours, that is if you wish to share it. If not then at least a name I can call you by," the same, shining light returned to Hina's eyes as she dismissed her previous thoughts. She felt if she left them lingering any longer more of her other side may reveal itself.

Carina kept her gaze in the direction her head felt most comfortable, allowing her to rest herself near the wall without any sort of straining. She listened to what the person next to her had to say, nodding slightly as they finished to at least show her acknowledgment. She also felt that words were no longer needed, but maybe that was just her indifferent attitude. She didn't really know, and didn't particularly care either.

Giving a glance at the room once more, to kill time, she noticed that most people were talking. That must have slipped her attention before, although she would admit she had no vested interest in paying attention in the first place. Well, right now. Maybe later on, but who knew? No one. Her lids slid over her eyes to clear both the collecting dust and any of her persisting thoughts. It was easy to clear them, as simple as blinking; for her, at the least. She wondered... What sort of trials would they go through?

Would everyone be as savage and aggressive as she'd heard..? She was clueless in the matter, and struggled to figure out if she wanted to put effort into worrying. Deciding that she'd keep it in the back of her mind, she went back to aimlessly gazing around. Maybe this person next to her would help her. Maybe not. Again, she could not predict the future.

GM Post
The train's engine became more pronounced in sound, its wheels railing against the tracks almost as if it would slip off at any moment. Everyone could hear it at this point, it was close by, only seconds away. A loud screech could be heard as the brakes were applied, the smoke filling the space the applicants had been tasked with finding. A collective group of coughing filled the room before the smoke would be siphoned into the cracks and grates. As the smoke cleared, a figure could be seen standing atop one of the cars, a dark-skinned man whose hair would indicate that he had been atop the train the entire time. He had a blue cloak, adorned with several pieces of jewelry. His demeanor and expressions would indicate that he was a very carefree man, if his choice of transportation had not made it obvious. The man would reach into his back pocket, taking out a microphone.

"WELCOME APPLICANTS!" The microphone would buzz out, producing enough sound to cause a ring in the ears. To make matters worse, the sound was followed by a loud screech due to a microphone malfunction. The cloaked man would seem to address someone in the car beneath him, hopefully requesting that the sound be turned down. Anyone with unnaturally sensitive hearing may find the ability they were so fond of was now being put against them.

"Sorry about that!" His voice was now clear to everyone in the room, should they not have been temporarily deafened by his first outburst. "Anyway, I am Quill, your first proctor! Is everyone excited!?" He would say, almost as if he was addressing a child. Most of the applicants would remain dead-quiet, despite his attempt to rile the crowd. With a clear of his throat, he would continue: "Anyhow, the first phase of the Hunter's exam is about to begin. I will now have everyone board the train, a video inside will cue you on our first event." His once cheery expression would now turn more grim. "I should also say two things before I let you into the train: one, no attacking anyone sitting down on the train's seats and applicants must not stand more than two meters from each car’s entrance! Secondly, no damage to my precious train! Finally, if you aren't paying attention and miss something... I will not be sympathetic." His expression would switch back. "But, aside that, I wish everyone good luck! I am excited to see what everyone has to bring to the table!" As he said this, the first six doors to the train would open.

"ALLLL ABOARD!” it was now clear that the first introduction was purposely loud, Quill now letting out a small, devilish laugh at the poor eardrums of the applicants.

Some of the applicants seemed tentative about boarding the calamitous looking train, while others were very eager. The train would have around twelve cars that stretched back into the tunnel and out of sight, with nowhere near enough seats for everyone, perhaps even room, but that was not obvious at first. The train was separated into three classes, first class, business and economy. First class was gorgeous, decorated with fine woods and padded seating, it was an opportunity for luxury. However, there were only two cars of this class, so competition would be quick and bloody. Business would be standard seating, almost like a subway, nothing special. The last twenty cars would be absolutely brutal. Inside the carts would be an unusual scent, almost as if someone had tried to cover up a murder with air freshener. The walls would be shrouded with graffiti and some had begun to collect an assortment of dead rodents. Security guards stood spread among the cars, each of them would be wearing similar clothing to the proctor. Should anyone break the golden rules, they would be neutralized in a indestructible bubble that would phase them through the roof and off the train.

Much of the crowd would begin their way to the train, though it would not be long until everyone discovered that there was limited seating and a difference in class. The battle for first class would end quickly, the seats being filled up fast. However, a new panic filled those who had not yet entered the train, the seating was quickly filling up. Those who had not been seated would be entered into the bloodbath of this third “pre-phase”. Seating had to be done quickly or else you may be shoved to the ground. Of course, there were the brave souls who decided to remain standing, perhaps to begin their annihilation of the competition.

Quill sat cross legged on top of the train, watching as the applicants would enter in, smiling in thought. ‘If they made it this far, then they should know that there is a phase around every corner, but one mere look at this train should set off some natural alarms… A hunter cannot be scared of such natural risks, however… I really am brilliant aren’t I? The ones who wait to get on simply won’t have a spot on the train before it leaves and the ambitious get to relax in first class, a great way to see who I should be keeping an eye on!’ These thoughts would bring great pleasure to the proctor, proud of his devious work.

OOC
Advantages will be given to the first who post. The first post will have an opportunity for first class, this will be none-the-less difficult, however. The second post will not have the opportunity for first class, but will have a strong chance for business class, almost guaranteed. Third through fifth will have a good chance at business. Sixth and seventh will have a good chance for economy and anything beyond may find looking for a seat tough. Don't worry if you can't post early, the only thing it will effect is the nature and conditions in your post, not the outcome (there will be a seat for everyone).

The diagram below illustrates the aggressive applicants (prominent ones) in each car with their corresponding events players may engage in. (there are two first class cars, four business cars and six economy).

While your character has a chance to avoid them all together, they also have a chance to engage and protect other players from them. Remember the NPC rules when engaging an NPC. While you can avoid Stage 2 NPC's (with a detailed post on how), if you are to physically or verbally interact with them, you will need to give me a chance to respond.

Event 1(Locatted in Car#1+2)
There is a bloodbath going on in first class and only the quick will have a chance to participate. Many of the weaklings try to rush for seating, but are quickly pulled off, some killed, before they can reach a seat. While drawn out fights are avoided, it is very clear that people are eager for these seats. Some of the strongest fighters have infiltrated this cart, while most of the weaker and skittish applicants have decided to duck out. Only the first (or second if they go in as a group) poster will have a chance to be affected by this.
[Stage 2]NPC's Several are going for a spot in first class. If your aim is to ignore them and go for a seat, you may control them missing you, but your post will have to be detailed on how you were able to nab a seat.

Event 2 (Located in Car#3)
A stage 2 NPC stands in the middle of the cart, away from the rule of two meters from the entrance. The phase has just begun, but already first class has been filled up. Taking this opportunity, he has been challenging anyone who has tried to get passed him. Some try rushing past and while successful, are often left with an impressive bruise. This NPC seems to value a code of honor in how he fights, he will not back away from a challenge and will fight furiously with a wooden sword. He is incredibly skilled, but not impossible to beat, perhaps even trivial in a group.
[Stage 2]NPC: Hanzo

Event 3 (Located in Car#5)
Using the cover from the rule of no attacking anyone that sits, a peculiar dressed man, adorned with a skirt of leaves and the absence of a shirt has taken to blow darting anyone that enters through the small door. His darts put anyone asleep and if they do not make it past the two meter mark, will be escorted by a bubble by one of Quill's men. Bodies are lined up on the floor already and only the most crafty in their evasion have made it by. You can't make physical contact with him, but if he happens to be indirectly damaged, does that really break any rule?
[Stage 1]NPC: Aloys the Blow Dart

Event 4 (located in Car #8)
A man who has tamed a spider has coated an entire car in his sticky web, acting almost as an obstacle course. The spider is huge and is around the size of a large dog and has the strength to tackle down any applicant. It is very hungry, but is not able to outrun anyone who does not get caught in its web.
[Stage 2]NPC: Hunter's Widow: A species of spider that has been bred to be a companion and listen to human command. It is very poisonous and one bite can lead to severe hallucinations that often deal with traumatic events in the recipients life. It is about as strong as dog and has a very tough exoskeleton that is no easy to pierce. It hates getting wet, however.

Event 5 (located in Car#12)
The Car is coated in blood, fresh blood. Niko, a notorious serial killer, has taken to scraping out any tardy applicants, with no remorse for murder. He will not attack anyone who is able to sit down. Applicants fill car 11, trying to figure out a way inside, they are willing to cooperate with you, but you will need a good plan to beat this skilled fighter. He is armed with a machete and will only attack after you enter two meters into the car. Getting past him normally is no easy task.
[Stage 3]NPC: Niko
[Stage 1]NPCx5: Cooperators whom you may each choose one to control.

Basic Info: The proctor of the first phase and a retired member of the Zodiacs. Is a well-known Botanical Hunter. Seems a little eccentric.

View attachment 390388
Age: 28
Basic Info: A man who keeps to himself, watching and stalking the other applicants. Anyone who has done any research knows that Niko is a man to be feared. However, he is a regular human being, stronger than the average competitor, but not unbeatable. (stronger than most unprepared characters on their own)
Ability: Seems to be able with any weapon really. Tends to carry with him a combat-designed knife and a set of ones for throwing.
