Apparel: Aire is usually found wearing a black and blue longcoat with rolled up sleeves and two bracelets on his right wrist, one has his zodiac sign and the other is red and orange for Avalon.
Arms: Usually preferring a single sword, Aire is somewhat experienced in dual wielding.
Abilities: Using Ice magic, Aire can use his magic as a secondary means of attacks and defending. With it, he can shot bolts of ice and freeze his enemies with waves of ice and snow.
Background: Aire was raised in the culinary industry with his father owning a cafe in the town he was born in. But, despite his knack for the culinary arts, Aire wanted nothing else to be a hunter-knight and hunt monsters for Avalon. Although Aire's father completely forbid him from studying swordsmanship and magic, he still studied in secret and became proficient in both areas.
Personality: Aire is calm and collected most of the time, but when push comes to shove he can fight with great passion if the situation called for it.
Experience: He's had his fair share of run-ins with monsters, so he's definitely not a stranger to combat.

Name: Vorse Rigas

Sex: Male

Age: 30

Nationality: Predominantly Greek, though Rigas' immediate family history lies in the U.S.

Appearance: Tanned and muscular, Rigas has dark eyes and dark hair which he often ties back in a ponytail. He shaves infrequently, and is usually seen sporting rough stubble.

Apparel: He wears minimal heavy armour plating, a chest piece with one piece of armour applied to each limb and a helmet, while leaving room for some flexibility with leather and fur padding. He proudly wears the iconic red cloak of the Hunter-Knights.

Arms: Rigas has received heavily specialised training over more than a decade with various polearms, with his weapon of choice being the European glaive, which he carries at all times. He also has a lot of experience with the longbow, and is competent with a shortsword when necessary.

Abilities: Over his many years of combat experience, Rigas has become an expert in both fire and earth magic, known for using both schools in combination to unleash devastating and overly destructive magma attacks, easily capable of decimitating buildings and the environment itself. He does this by manipulating earth and rock, and heating it up through the use of fire magic to create a pseudo-magma like substance, depending of course on whatever terrain and materials he uses. Through his mastery of heat magic, he has also become adept at heating up his metal weaponry and armour for either offensive or defensive purposes.

Background: From as far back as Rigas can remember, he had always been interested in the art of combat, constantly looking for willing combatants and different ways to improve his own abilities. It wasn't long before he began to idolize the Hunter-Knights, hoping that one day he would have the chance to fight monsters alongside them. His parents weren't eaten by monsters, nor were they military leaders pushing him to join the Hunter-Knights. In fact, they were both utterly terrified of conflict, something that Vorse would grow to despise them, and many others for. He was quickly wrapped up in the lifestyle of the Hunter-Knights, and became an exemplary student in the academy. He rose through the ranks inexplicably fast, fast enough to some people feel uneasy.

Personality: Despite giving off a foreboding and overly serious impression, he is known to be able to relax with his fellow Hunter-knights, and is always happy to help train the new recruits. He initially joined the forces simply due to his love for combat and self-improvement, and while he still values that greatly, he has strong feelings about the conflict between humans and monsters, about the Hunter-Knights, and about the city itself. It's no secret that he believes changes should be made within the Hunter-Knights, and, he himself wouldn't mind trying a hand at leadership.

Experience: Throughout his military career, Rigas has been infamously eager to fight monsters and hone his skills in real combat. He's never once missed an opportunity to fight them. Even to this day, despite the experience he has, he still doesn't consider himself enough truly "experienced", and is always on the lookout for another chance to take them on.

Apparel: She wears a mix of plate and leather armor, while it is more light than strong it still serves it purpose to protect her. She also wears a red cloak to symbolize the kingdom of Avalon.

Arms: She prefers to use her spear, however she is proficient in swordsmanship, daggers and crossbows.

Abilities: Kaylsta can create energy spears the colour of blood. They apear in her hand and she can use them for close combat or for a ranged attack. Touching it for anyone who is not Kaylsta is painful due to how cold it is, but to Kaylsta it feels like it is at normal temperature.

Background: Kaylsta was born into the military, fighting being all she's ever known. Her family was one of the top military families in Avalon so since she was the eldest, she was sent to serve the army without choice. She has dedicated her whole life into this army and it is her everything. She has known fighting for so long that it feels natural to be in the heat of battle. She sees protecting the human race as her duty and will stop at nothing to make that happen because she was forced into this so it has to be very important, right?

Personality: Kaylsta is a very dedicated fighter, fighting with figure and technique. She follows the rules and laws dutifully and wont hesitate to scold others who do not. She hates any one who doesn't take this seriously and will stop at nothing to change their perspective. Other than following the rules dutifully she is a friendly person. She doesn't mind socializing on her free time when she is not training.

Apparel: Though he does possess a set of plate armor, Shashou, whenever he is allowed to, wears the robes he had as a monk, wearing a red sash on top to signify his other allegiance to Avalon. He chooses to wear very little armor, not wanting to be as encumbered although his training meant that he was used to it. Instead, he wears a metal forearm guard on his right arm with shin guards on both legs. Shashou's left arm is covered in rosaries meant to seal a monster inside of it.
Arms: Although Shashou is experienced in using the typical Hunter-Knight weapons, he prefers to use his fists in a style combining the unarmed fighting of both the monks he was raised by and the Hunter-Knights who had trained him along with various techniques he had learned along the way.
Abilities: Shashou is capable of using powerful sealing magic. His most basic technique allows him to temporarily paralyze a target. He is also capable of binding monsters to inanimate objects. Though he can bind monsters to other animals, the individual the demon is bound to is susceptible to possession especially without Shashou there to reapply the seal. These sealing powers are further improved using special equipment such as tags and beads.

Though it is often used as a last resort, Shashou can also call upon the power of the demon sealed inside his left arm, allowing it to partially possess Shashou's entire body in exchange for enhanced strength, speed, and endurance. While in this state, Shashou also has possession of powerful dark magic allowing him to traverse through shadows as if they were portals as long as they are big enough for him to fit through.

Background: Shashou hailed from a faraway kingdom that had long since crumbled. He was an orphan, his parents dying to a monster attack. He was raised by monks and spent his childhood in a temple. Though the monks practiced martial arts, they were generally a peaceful sort, and their isolated location protected them from monsters. At least, so the monks thought. Several years ago, a wandering band of monsters attacked the temple led by one particularly strong beast. At the time, Shashou was not much of a fighter, several of his fellow monks dying to protect him. In the end, it was between him and the powerful leader. With no other choice, Shashou used a powerful magic to seal the monster into his left arm using a combination of seals and rosary beads to keep the demon in check.

With the temple destroyed and no one left to rebuild it, Shashou left to find civilization, only to discover that his kingdom had been destroyed. Still, there were pockets of human resistence. Each time Shashou stopped, he tried to help, calling upon the power of the monster he had sealed in order to defeat his enemies only for the ones he had helped to fear him, forcing Shashou to find another settlement. Eventually, he had caught word of an entire nation that was still around with an active army that could take on the monsters. He had heard of the Hunter Knights even seeing them in action the closer he had gotten to Avalon. Soon enough, it had become Shashou's goal to join them, hoping that they could teach him a way to defend himself without the use of the monster in his arm.

Eventually, he had reached his goal. Though he still had an accent, he had learned enough of the Avalonese language to enlist into the knights. He was older than a majority of the candidates and did not possess the natural strength and agility. However, his years of traveling and fighting had toughened both his body and his mind just enough to be able to keep up with the others he had trained with, and it wasn't long before he himself had become a knight. Then, trading his black robes for the red color of Avalon, Shashou hoped to finally avenge his temple and perhaps even restore his nation.

Personality: For the most part, Shashou is quiet, never speaking out of turn. While he is quiet, he does indeed have a sense of humor, often surprising those around him when he cracks a clever joke. Shashou himself, however, prefers not to speak, unable to think too efficiently as he listens to a conversation in one language but thinks in another. In addition, he speaks with a very noticeable accent that can be jarring to some.
Experience: Having traveled a good distance before arriving in Avalon, Shashou has a good deal of experience with monsters. Though at first, he relied on his sealed monster's power to help him, Shashou slowly learned to fend for himself by other means, including the martial arts of the monks which he had honed in battle. He had learned other unarmed techniques against monsters since then, including a wide variety from the Hunter-Knight of Avalon which he can't wait to test.

Most of her equipment is shoved in a leather bag held with two diagonal straps that cross over her chest. She has one Kilij with a green handle by her side at all times and a short bow ready to be drawn.

Background

Simo's life was shaped by desperate poverty, for good and for ill.

She grew up on the streets alone, orphaned, and poor. No one to watch over her or to provide for her. From an early age, she learned to provide for herself through less than conventional means. She fought fiercely over food and kept a constant watch out for other desperate souls who might steal from her. She slept on rooftops and in alleyways, exposed to the elements, and endured sickness without the advantage of medicine or a place to recuperate. But she survived despite all odds and did so through cunning, inner strength, speed, or some combination of each.

Her coming of age only made matters worst. With time, her body changed. Her breast swelled, and her face refined like that of the noble ladies. It wasn't just her body that was changing, but the attitude of those around her as well. She no longer just saw pure disgust and pity, she saw envy and hunger. She instantly felt a higher level of hatred from the women, but the men were more tender... to a certain extent. They reached out to her, said kind words which made her shy at first. It was new, it was different attention. It didn't look like pity, but genuine interest in her. A particular man she never will forget is Bohdan Lovric, the son of the Slavic ambassador. He was kind, gentle and beautiful. He offered her the world in a silver plater. She found happiness until her stomach swelled as well.

The pregnancy was met with a fury she never saw before. He beat her until her face looked like it got stung by a hundred bees. He raped her with no remorse and finally sold her to the highest bidder. Whatever was inside her, whatever curse she had to carry... she was paying the price.

Bless that night where she dreamt of blood, waves of it crashing against the eroded rocks of a cliff. She woke up that night drenched in the blood of her unborn child. She felt the burning shame of the miscarriage spreading through her. Laying, unmoving and laughing. Life was a funny joke, she thought to herself. She was the one to love even though he gave thousands of signs not to, she trusted him because he made her feel beautiful, wanted, desired.

" I don't know what I feel any more"​

She had enough. This life, whatever she was living... She no longer wanted. She clenched her teeth and tugged to the chains keeping her in this hell. She frantically pushed herself from the bed screaming and raging. The sound of her thumbs cracking as she tried to slip away from these chains and in a blaze of fury, the room was swallowed in flames. Her eyes widened at the horror, and she screamed in pain. The adrenaline rushed through her veins, and she pulled her hands out of the burning iron tying her hands. She ran to the door only to find it locked, the smoke starting to fill her lungs, she rushed to the other side of the room! The crackling sound of fire intensifying, the screams of the above prostitutes and customers echoing in her ears. Everything was happening so fast, all she could think of is

"Survive"

She dived out of the window, the sharp glass stabbing her limbs and the sound of rage escaping her throat. The moment her body touched surface, her mind shut.

A few weeks past and she finally woke up. She could recall this memory with the great details, the feeling of the pure white cotton sheet under her hand, the smell of honestly earned bread and most importantly the captivating smile of an older man and his brittle, wrinkly nurse-wife.

"Life has dark moments, and it is out of the dark nights that we find our greatest beauties and strengths."​

From there onward, life got better. The bruises on her body did not hurt as much as those of heart and the scars on the mind, but they were getting better. She kept it stored for when the right time came.

She came to know the family that cared for her. They were the Osman's! A modest family of three grown-ups, and two of the most caring elders she ever met. They made her feel home, and she instantly felt attached to them. It came to her as odd, but they had a contagious optimism and benevolent nature. Why would she distrust them? She was unconscious for weeks and had no real gains from keeping a slave prostitute.

With time pass, they eventually came to know of her past yet accepted her as their fourth child. She was still very young and Mister. Osman, or how Simo now calls him, Baba suggested she enlisted at The Caldor Academy, the academy where all of his children attended. Simo hesitated a lot before accepting the idea. Since she woke up from the incident, she helped Lady Osman with her nursing home, learning her trade to be beneficial to them. Mind you, she wasn't good and easily lost patience with the grumpiest patients. It wasn't the best for her, but Simo felt the need to repay them for their kindness and so took it upon her to be there for any of their needs.

Upon agreeing, Simo underestimated the good that came from that decision. She discovered this new world, this fascinating drive. Simo strived to be the best, and she was amongst the elite by the time she graduated. Her world shifted, and she was now in control of it... and she loved it.

Apparel: Wears a floor-length flowing white dress with red on the inside draped over a short red skirt and a belt to hold it in place on the torso. Wears fingerless gloves that extend just before the shoulders and are attached with belt straps around the upper arms. Wears a red jeweled necklace, a white choker and a white pointed hat with red on the bottom, as well as earrings and white cloth boots folded down to reveal the red inner cloth.

Arms: Carries only a simple white staff. Her weapon and attire makes her out to be defenseless, but she relies on her summoned familiars for combat and can afford to optimize form over function without any harmful penalties.

Abilities: Persia herself carries a small repertoire of weaker spells and gimmicks, but her primary source of strength comes from her two summoned familiars, Astrid and Ambrosia. Astrid is an Erinyes who uses shadow magic to shower explosive blows upon her opponents and fights with a savage bloodlust. Ambrosia is a benevolent Hunder who uses the power of nature to heal and invigorate her allies and provide support.

Background: Persia comes from a wealthy family of noble sorcerers that specialize in summoning magic. She was blind from birth and relies on her forest spirit familiar, Ambrosia, as a constant source of sight through her magic. Due to her crippled condition, Persia's parents spoiled her and gave her almost everything she wanted. Even her servants were fond of her, and they were also pulled towards the natural beauty and grace of her first familiar. Together they were practically worshiped and Persia was treated like a princess. It wasn't long before she was getting a mountain of suitors, all of who Persia had absolutely no interest in marrying. However, marriage was the one thing that her parents wanted to control, and they forced her to get into a relationship with the most prominent noble they could find. Persia hated the man she was matched with and complained that he was a snobby brat (not that she was really any different), but her parents assured her that he would eventually grow on her. She remained unconvinced. It wasn't long before Persia could no longer stand to be in her suitor's presence, and she entered into her second contract with a familiar, one who could guarantee that the two nobles would be separated for good. Persia used Astrid's assistance to horribly frighten the suitor, and they were separated before they could even successfully marry. Persia's parents were infuriated, and they finally began to realize that they had spoiled their daughter to irredeemable levels. For the sake of discipline, Persia's parents agreed to send her to enlist as one of Avalon's Hunter-Knights, where she would be serving humanity while simultaneously fixing her attitude.

Personality: Persia is self-centered and arrogant. She reminds everyone she meets of her noble status and implores them to worship her presence. She hates doing dirtywork and will refuse to do any job that she thinks is beneath her, but she is by no means lazy. Persia is willing to put huge amounts of effort into preserving her elegance and dignity, and her pride makes her want to stay at the top at all costs. Despite the impression she gives off, Persia's constant attempts to distance herself from others has made her socially awkward, and it is simpler than it first appears to get under her skin and break her stubborn facade. Under that facade she can be quite cute and is even rather lonely, but even Persia doesn't recognize her loneliness since she is so focused on maintaining her outward appearance. Besides, she has a close relationship with both her familiars and she trusts their services. Persia is particularly reliant on Ambrosia and treats her as a sort of mother figure. After all, Ambrosia sustains Persia's vision so she has no choice but to value her presence. Without her minions, every trace of Persia's pompous attitude breaks and she becomes paranoid and vulnerable.

Experience: Persia is completely inexperienced. She has never seen a lick of combat in her life, much less a monster. Regardless, her overconfidence in her minions makes her quite fearless for her own well-being.

Personality: Ambrosia has a cheerful and docile personality towards the people she meets. She likes to flirt with and dote on her master as much as she enjoys admiring the world's fauna and flora as a nature lover. Depending on who she's interacting with she can instantly alternate between being motherly, a big sister type and a steaming seductress, but she has another side of her that she rarely likes to show. Ambrosia is a hardcore masochist who loves to be cut, maimed, and savagely beaten. It's a strong fetish that instantly gets her in heat no matter who is attacking (pleasing?) her.

Abilities: Ambrosia can use the power of nature to heal and invigorate her allies. She can create thorny vines that painfully subdue her opponents. She can erect a wall of bark or construct a venomous flower that sends gas with different effects into the air. Finally, she can summon a 5 meter tall ent and send it into battle.

Personality: Astrid lives for combat. There is no better feeling to her than bathing her sword with the blood of her enemies. She is fueled on violence, hatred and vengeance, and she becomes irritable if she hasn't stabbed anything for a while. Although she enjoys a good challenge, there's nothing she hates more than losing a fight, and if she meets an enemy for a second time after a loss her thirst for revenge will fuel her already massive bloodlust. Even outside of combat, Astrid is a total sadist who constantly insults others. She has no sense of restraint, and if she suspects that someone is picking a fight she will instantly punish them for their insolence. For fun, she likes to stab at Ambrosia's flesh and make her bloody all over.

Abilities: Astrid is a shadow mage as well as a swordsman. She can send slashes of shadows flying from her sword strikes. She can use the shadows around her to greatly amplify her speed and strength, or disperse the shadows around her in a small blast radius. Despite the ferocity of her attacks, nearly everything she does harshly strains her mana reserves and her kit revolves around ending the fight as quickly as possible before she runs out of mana.​

Apparel: Tends to wear loose fitting clothes and a few pieces of leather/light steel armor for maximum mobility. Also wears a black, small brimmed hat with a red silken band around
it to signify her alligance to the Hunter-Knights.




Arms: Possesses a pair of swords that can change into a bladed whips that were passed down from her mother.


Abilities: Sora has masterful knowledge in the use of her chosen weapons while being gifted in wind magic. With it she can increase her jump height, glide through the air,
send out deadly blades of wind with her swords, control the direction her bladed whips, and suck the air away within an area of around six feet (though it takes a lot of focus and
can quickly drain her magic, so this is typically used as a last resort)


Background: Sora is from a long linage of monster hunters that were inactive during monsterkind's imprisonment. When the creatures returned the family was badly out of practice
and were nearly wiped out. Thankfully several of them made it to Avalon where they were able to train and once again become fearsome hunters like their ancestors. Sora is the
most recent Hunter-Knight of the Hildegardes after her mother was forced to retire after getting crippled during a monsterkind raid. She hopes to make her family proud.


Personality: Laid back and friendly Sora has never found it hard to make friends with/get along with others. She's rather inquisitive in nature, actively seeking out answers to any
questions she may have (which has at times landed her in trouble). Following rules and regulations aren't really Sora's forte as she constantly tries to find ways around them, or bend
them to toward her favor. However this does not mean that the young woman is without morals, it's just that she prefers to make her own way through life and stay true to her own morals.
Sora is also fiercely loyal to her friends and loved ones and won't think twice about running headlong into danger in order to keep them safe.
Experience: She's been in a few scuffles with smaller monsters like goblins and such, but most of her skills come from training/studying with family.
Extra info:
Sora is allergic to seafood (her skin breaks out in hives) and seed pods make her wan't to throw up for reason.
