Perfect Disaster
December 1692
Hannah hated winter, it was too cold. She was chilled to the bone as she struggled to make her way through the forest in the dark. Not only was she cold, she was late again. The other girls would be angry with her, they didn't like to wait for her. Hannah felt like she was always late these days, ever since she had been forced to take on extra chores at home it seemed like she never had time for anything. She knew she should be happy for her older sister, she did get married, but Hannah still couldn't help but be annoyed at all the new responsibilities she had because of it. Finally, Hannah made it to a break in the woods, where the other girls where waiting by a fire. The moon hung above them, she could feel the shift in the atmosphere around her. The magic was stronger here, when they were together like this. Hannah didn't bother with an apology, she quietly slipped into her spot by the fire.
