Fantasy Hotel California

Haruhi Suzumiya

An Adorable Entity
The sun glistens against the desert sand as you drive by, your windshield stopping kicked up sand from obscuring your vision. Minutes and hours pass, and you don't seem to make any progress; Something's wrong, you're sure, but you don't really care enough to stop. Suddenly a woman's voice interrupts your radio...

"The desert roads get tiring, don't they?" Your vision's getting noticeably blurry, you note, and you feel a bit tired, yes. "You're probably having trouble staying awake at a time this late. Well, lucky for you, we have plenty of beds available at the Hotel California, which is coming up on your right in a mile or so; Feel free to stop by if you wish. You're more than welcomed here..."

A decisive click ends the interruption and your radio returns to normal. You mute it nonetheless and let yourself think a bit.

You stare at the road ahead as you drive, your eyes unflinching and unblinking. In the distance you see a bright light and a towering building, which you figure is this "Hotel California" the woman spoke of. Out of curiosity you stop and park your car outside the building... You walk to the door and open it, and the hallway just inside appears completely dark. A woman comes into your vision, her golden eyes ablaze from candlelight, walks over to you and takes your hand.

As you walk along mindlessly with the woman, you ask yourself; What exactly is happening? Who is this woman? Why have I not stopped her?

Most importantly, what is this place?

"Welcome to the Hotel California," you hear voices chime in to answer you. The voices sing - Voices of all kinds, all in harmony. "Such a lovely place..."

The woman turns around and looks you in the eyes - Suddenly the room lights up to reveal you weren't in a hallway but a large lobby, supported by numerous marble pillars strewn about. The woman hands the candle she was holding off to a man that passes her by and takes your free hand with her now free hand.

"Welcome, friend," The familiar voice - The one from the radio interruption, you recall - Chimes in, her voice sounds like music to your ears. "We're glad to have you here - Welcome to the Hotel California. May I escort you to your room?"

With that warm smile, her welcoming eyes and ever-so-kind gestures thus far, how can you say no?

Average Hotel Room - Most, if not all, of the rooms look like this. When one walks into the room, the living area is the first thing they see, which is the sofas pictured, then there's the bed, which is made for two, and beyond the dividers to the right is a bathroom. To the left is a closet, which contains summer clothing fitting to the room owner's gender.

luxury-hotel-lobby.jpg

The Lobby - A central stage is open in the middle of the room for performances, while the sides are fairly uniform (To what is displayed here; This is the left side of the lobby, and the right side is essentially the same thing but mirrored). The opening visible is where one would check in and out, though one does not leave the Hotel California...

pool-night-3.jpg

Private Pool - An outside area available for access only to a select few. If one is not permitted to be in the pool, they will be forcefully removed if the need is presented. This can be found on the roof of the building, where nothing but clouds can be seen off the edge.

pool-and-hotel-by-night.jpg

Public Pool - This is the outside area in which one will find everyone not permitted to visit the private pool. A bar and restaurant are opened here at night, and are to be used by everyone in the building, though a select few people prefer to have food sent to their room.

Essentially, basic RPNation rules apply - Is this 'rules' tab exactly necessary? You know RPNation etiquette, I hope, so if you want to join you ought to keep in mind this roleplay is in no way different from any other when it comes to expectations. I expect you write at least a paragraph for each post so the people around you have enough to work with, though if I permit short posts for a short time you may do so.

TL;DR: Use common sense, write a paragraph or more unless I say otherwise, RPNation rules apply.

Walter was drowzy. He looked around at the hotel. There were some people on the lobby, one of them making the check in. He wondered how the hell did he got there anyway. All that he remembered was that he was driving, tired as hell... At least he still remembered what was on his car trunk. Two hundred thousand dollars... and a hand. He should've throwed it in the desert. There were other ways to lose the cop, but noooo, Cesar had to cut his hand. That's why he was dead now, the idiot. Now, all that Walter needed was a good night of sleep, and this place looked good. He wondered if it was okay to leave the money there on his car. Well, as long as they don't get his keys, there's not many reasons someone would open his trunk.

After he finished filling his form, he walked across the lobby towards the door to make the check in. It seemed that no one was attending at the moment. Walter rang the little bell at the reception.

"Hello? Anybody here?"

Kieran frowned as he looked around. He was feeling iffy with a slight peckish feeling to the side of it. He’d taken a long time to get where he was, wherever it was that is. He still wasn’t aware why he was here or just about how he got here. He took a train which led him anywhere, here just happened to be a stopping point. He didn’t have much on him at the time and whichever unfortunate soul came his way, he would just glare at them or give them a cold shoulder. He didn’t mean to truthfully, but it was easier than having to talk. If he had to do that he would just freeze on the spot and utter words of nonsense. That’s how bad he was ‘socially handicapped’ or so he claimed.

“Where to…” he spoke as gazed around and tapped his foot. It was a bit eerie how he could hear the echoes of his foot tapping but he decided to let it slide. He’d been travelling for almost 5 hours. He needed a break and it seemed like this was the spot to be at.

“Argh” he complained as he gazed at the ceiling. He really was lost.

A red SUV sped through the highway as 4 girls and a gay guy tossed around inside. Hannah, the driver, was cursing at every car that was going the speed limit and got in her way, "Move out of the f*ckin' way grandma!" Penny, passenger seat, had her pale white feet up on the dashboard and was hunched over painting her toenails black, "Honestly I don't know why we even bother anymore. We're already late." Lola, seat behind Hannah, was biting her fingernails, "It's all Nicolas's fault. If he hadn't taken all that time with his facial mask we would have been there ages ago". Nicolas, right of Lola, was leaning forward with his elbows propped up on the arm rests of the front seats, "I'm sorry but perfection takes time. What if I find my Romeo pelvic thrusting behind me. I must look impeccable." Gina, seat behind Penny, was staring out the window contemplating life when Nicolas's comment made her snap back into reality, "Oh yeah and he'll bow down with a ring on his hand and say 'Oh Nicolas where for art thou Nicolas." The whole van cracked up into laughter causing Hannah to lose sight of the road making a car behind them honk angrily. Hannah straighten up the car and flicked off the family in the car behind them. Offended,Nicolas turned to Gina, "That was Juliet's line for your information."

The van continued in conversation and laughter when a radio ad hushed the van down, "The desert roads get tiring, don't they? You're probably having trouble staying awake at a time this late. Well, lucky for you, we have plenty of beds available at the Hotel California, which is coming up on your right in a mile or so; Feel free to stop by if you wish. You're more than welcomed here..."

Hannah burst out laughing, "They forgot to say, 'Please give us your f*cking debit card while we rob you of your money.' " Just like the ad had said a fancy looking building pulled up ahead. The girls and Nicolas were stunned by it's massive elegant structure.

"Han...why are you slowing down? We're not actually staying here are we?" Lola said ashamed that she wouldn't be able to afford such a fancy place. "I'm not f*cking stopping. This mother of a car is slowing down." Hannah slammed the steering wheel as the car came to a complete stop and started smoking from the engine. "This car is gonna BLOW!!!" Nicolas screamed. everyone ran out of the car and watched as the van continued to smoke, "Well this is f*cking perfect." "Oh Hannah! Maybe we can stay here! I'd love to explore a hot tub with you," Penny slid next to Hannah running her hands down her back.

All this time Gina had been silent, she looked at the place. Well maybe staying here wont be so bad. She looked at the pack and smiled, "I say we stay." She fished her bag and took out her platnium card. "I've never used it and my father pays for everything." The group smiled and all together made their way to the hotel.

Kieran was alarmed at the sound of more people coming in. Ah – people. What was he to do now? If he had an option he would prefer the silence over the company of more people. They seemed a bit like a rowdy bunch too. He bit the inside of his cheek as he took a seat, unsure of what to do next. He stared at them for a while before focusing back on his book; it seemed he had his mind made up about them already. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves, even drank tea which he previously bought. It was cold but it would mean less communication which was what really mattered at the end of the day.

“Annoying” he muttered under his breath as he looked outside the window with soft eyes, it was an insult but it didn’t really come out as one. He was a soft spoken boy after all.

He stood up and brushed of his clothes, he hoped to pass without causing a disturbance or at least creating any noise whilst doing so. It would be easy but he decided he would take a picture of the view from where he was at first. He was sure that the people – oh wait he couldn’t go back home.

“How stupid” he groaned as he realised he took such a beautiful picture for no reason. What was he to do now?

@NessieAlways

After Hannah had managed to stop the van from smoking-It was handy to have the daughter of a truck driver on board-, the group began to unload their stuff. "Yeah We're at some Hotel California...yeah...uhuh...THREE DAYS!!! You've got to be kidding...Yeah I know it's far away but...Fine...FINE I understand." Penny went over to Hannah, "The mechanics will be here in 3 days. Apparently they have a lot of work to leave the shop and they're about a day away. It seems like this place is in the middle of nowhere." "Oh no! What are we going to do? I only have enough facial mask for a day. We were supposed to arrive to your aunt's house tonight Gina. What are we gonna do?" Nicolas was sobbing on his stepsister shoulder as she grimaced by his proximity. "Hey it's not my fault the van broke down. If you were like the other..." Gina stopped mid sentence before she said something she would regret later on.

Gina grabbed her bag and suitcase from the back of the van and saw a flash of light in the corner of her eye. She craned her neck and saw a guy with a camera in hand. With a smile Gina walked up to him, "Nice Cam you've got there."

@Cami

Upon hearing her comment Kieran frowned slightly. It was something he hated personally. Like not knowing why he even carried it around. It would only have memories he would see for himself. Hardly a memory when there's no one there with him in it.

"It's a jar really. An empty one..." he spoke softly with a slight coldness to it.

"It has no worth" he murmured. He wasn't sure whether he was talking about the camera or...

He became flustered on realising his conversation with the girl. Wow he was actually talking to someone.

"N-not that it matters..." he said.

@NessieAlways

Gina smiled at the guy. "Can I have a look?" She extended her hand to see if he would lend her his camera. Georgina wouldn't be offended if he said no since she had a camera herself and hardly let anyone see her pictures, mostly out off embarrassment. Although, seeing the art of other people fascinated her. It was magnificent how several people could capture the same scene in so many different ways. A matter of perspective. From the looks of it, this guy had a completely different perspective than hers.

@Cami

"Click. Click.... AAAHHHuuhhhhh.... smack smack."

A man was typing on his laptop and yawned, stretching his arms like a cat. He was dressed in a blue plain hoodie and black gym shorts. He donned long white socks and sliders for footwear. You couldnt really see his face because the hoodie was on. Anyways, the speed of his fingers seemed to be mysteriously quick compared to how tired he seemed. He was sitting at a seat in the lavish, grandiose lobby, a seat down from from the nervous camera boy. He was so focused on his typing that he didnt even notice the people coming in. That and he was listening to his favorite artist, Chris Botti on Pandora. The music seemed a little too classy for a guy like him, but it was really one of the only things that helped him focus along with drinking. Which by the way.

Dante took his feet off the footrest in front of him and grabbed his gallon of water on the hotel carpet. He popped the top and glugged a couple times. "AHHH." He relieved himself noisely, before taking a couple seconds to rub the tired out of his eyes. It was an especially hard day for him. He ran a half marathon in the city. Where was the city? He didnt know. Where is the hotel? He didnt know. How he got there? An even bigger mystery. He believes it involved drugs, women, and guns. He THINKS he's been here for 3 days.

The man thought about for a moment, but then decided it wasnt worth it. He was ok for now. And he'll find a way out eventually. After he rests here for a while longer. He's also enjoying the physical activities, exercise equipment, and most importantly food. He found the beds to be pleasantly, as fluffy as cloud. The staff was great, and had already made friends with couple (he's a generous tipper). So far, he rates the place a 5/5.

Finally, he looked up at Kieran and Gina and nodded in acknowledgment.

Eliza walked through the door of the hotel and looked around. She still couldn't believe her luck in finding the place. It was the middle of a desert, and she had been so tired and in need of a soft bed and warm cup of tea, earl grey, hot. Her internship didn't start for another week or so, but she had wanted to get to the area early, get settled a bit before starting. But this building! Man, this place was definately worth stopping a bit for. Absolutely gorgeous; plus, she could just imagine the plushness of the beds.

Eliza grinned to herself and carried her suitcase along to a chair in the lobby. She sat down, pulled on her headphones, and waited for the guy at the front desk to arrive to check in. By the looks of those around her, he would certainly have his hands busy.

Sawyer Celen

Stepping into the building, Sawyer let out a large sigh of relief as the air and comfort hit him As he pushed the strands of subtly wet hair out his face, his blue eyes seemed to pierce the air around him from his gently tanned skin. He had been walking around for the longest time since he left his last place. He had to pass up a few places along the way because he ended up using a lot more of his money than he expected. His price range had dropped pretty considerably. Fortunately for him as he was listening to the radio through his cell, he was near the place as it was announced to him. Hotel California, huh? Seems like a fine place to relax.

Walking further into the place, Sawyer immediately ordered some cold water. It was something he desperately needed. As he took long sips from it, he filled out the form that came along with it. These questions are pretty focused. Looking up for a second, he noticed a group and gave them a wink. There wasn't a specific target. He just really liked flirting, with all kinds of people. The form, as he looked back down, had disappeared. This slightly worried him. I must have gone delusional. Taking to his feet with drink in hand, he walked over to the crowd of people and basically announced himself to the number of people already there. "Hey, my name is Sawyer. What about you lovely people?" He gave them all another wink as he crossed his arms over his pale scarf draping down near his kneecaps. I sure hope these guys don't disappear on me like that form. He mused to himself with genuine hints of worry.

“Ah. Sure…” Kieran replied, his hand shaking slightly as he gave her the camera, but his eyes were monotonous and deadpanned. He looked to the side as he didn't want her to give him any weird look as she looked through his photos. Most of them consisted of landscape from places he’d been ever since that night and the most recent one from here. Most of the pictures were either calm and relaxing or full of nightlife. They were two completely different outlooks on life. One, an outlook Kieran led and the other was one he wanted to have. To be more social/

“Don’t…” he murmured “delete anything”.

@BrownBear1

He stared at Sawyer. He seemed to be a socially adept person. Kieran wore a deadpanned face, ah the joys of acting like you’re some cold blooded creature or at least an alien to socialization. He bit his lower lip hard, a bad habit he had.

“Annoying” he said bluntly as he looked back down to his bag, trying to find his journal. Truthfully he didn't mean it but he was annoyed at how he couldn't be more like that so may as well scare away anyone who tries right? He looked back up to see if the boy was still watching. What an archetype. He turned his attention away.

Dante stopped tying. It was time to scope the room, since it was getting more lively. He scanned through his hoodie hole.

"Sup." He nodded to Sawyer in a gruff voice. This guy was lively. Seemed like to be either riot of good company or annoying as hell. Good fashion sense. Confident tone and posture. Theres a possiblity this man tracks girls left and right... probably dudes too... Why he came alone? Who knows, could be anything. Let's watch him more for now.

Kieran. Horribly shy. Especially with women, by the looks of the current interaction happening between her and gina. Has a knack for art. Introverts tend to be that way. Maybe I can look at some pictures if i befriend him. Lets see. Anyways this guy seems alone too. Probably trying to find the secret to coming out of his shell through travel. Not a bad a idea. It does work.... hes not there yet.

He looked across the lobby towards the front desk. A woman in messy raised hair, glasses, headphones, and humbly dressed. Not too much make up but enough to give hints of her good looks. It was harder to see that beauty right now because she looked ready to just knock out on a pillow. She was alone and about 20. Most likely shes not out here simply for sight seeing, unless shes got family here.... in the middle of no where. I mean she could be but thats not common. Shes probably stopping to get settled in college or work... or worse chasing the pipe dream of making it big in Hollywood. Bleh. She had potential she was cute.

Gina and her gang. That dudes definitely gay. They are hot. They party. They're a group. Not much to go on from here other than gina's a pretty sociable and confidant person. She approached Kieran with ease.

Dante yawned.... Okay... time to talk...

He looked at Sawyer.

"Howre ya man?" He said happily, and taking off his hoodie even standing up to shake his hand

Immediately he changed appearances. From tough and "leave alone" to open and "howre ya?"

Gina laughed, "Oh course I won't delete anything! I'm a photographer as well...in training" Gina grabbed the boys camera with one hand and twisted around to get her own from her bag. Gina then did something she had never done in her life, she gave a stranger her camera although there were no picture in it since it wasn't a digital camera. "It's an antique model, but I just love the fact that no picture comes out with the same effect. Some of them have color others are in sepia. It's pretty neat if you ask me. "

Gina noticed a man nod her way so she slightly tilted her chin up and let it fall back down in response to his nod. She then took the camera in both hands and began to look at the pictures. They were all so beautiful. The lighting, the angles. the scenery all captivated such splendor that even she couldn't capture yet. However, there seemed to be something sad about the pictures. Gina kept skimming through the pictures and when she got to the most recent one she noticed what made the pictures sad. Most of the pictures contained no people and the ones that did there was only one.

Gina had been a fan of photographing people. She would snap pictures of groups, families, couples. It wasn't like those family reunion pictures were everyone stares at the camera and says cheese. They were more special moments that the people would be captured in. A guy dipping a girl while dancing, a mother holding her daughter's hand while crossing the street, a father throwing his son a baseball, those were the type of moments she captured. Gina got an idea.

She turned the camera to that the lens faced her. "Hey," She told the guys she just met as she stepped closer to him. "Say Cheese!" Gina brought her arm around the guy and lifted the camera up to their faces. There was the bright white light of a flash just as Gina took a picture of her and the stranger. It was then when she noticed a guy walk in and ask for everyone's names. Gina was still smiling from the picture, so she kept the grin on her face and turned to face the boy, "Oh! Just like Tom Sawyer! That's neat! I'm Gina. Nice to meet you." Her attention turned back to the boy she met and wondered if he was mad at her for taking a picture of the two of them with his camera.

Eliza looked up briefly at the sound of a new arrival. A guy, dressed nicely, and definitely extroverted had walked through the door saying something. What he had said, she hadn't heard, but was sure it was some kind of greeting. She nodded toward him sleepily then turned up her music again. She had to hold out for the front desk attendant, she had to hold out, she had to...

A minute more and her head lolled against the back of her chair, eyes closed, and softly snored. The Glitch Mob still played loudly from her headphones as she dozed, failing at their current task of keeping her awake.

“In training…” he murmured as he stared at her. She took him by surprised when she handed him her camera so he bowed his head slightly as a way to say thanks though he didn’t exactly get what he was thanking her about. Maybe just talking to him? Yeah that was it. He traced his hand over the old antique camera, rather than actually looking at the photos he was just staring at the camera. He could already guess what would be in the camera. You can tell a lot about a person from their belongings.

“It’s nice…”.

He looked through her pictures awestruck. Though they weren’t the most professionally taken photos, they had something that Kieran’s didn’t. Human emotion. It had life despite some of the photos not having colour. Subtly he gave a simple smile though you couldn’t even tell it was. You’d have to look carefully or have an eye for detail. It reminded him of when times weren’t so bad though he was glad to see the memories. They made you feel a part of them.

Kieran’s eyes widened at the sudden white flash in his eyes. He blinked hard, he was like a shadow and was hardly ever taken a photograph of. He stared at the camera before taking it back and staring at it. He looked surprised kind of like an idiot. He was surprised he could even pull such a face.

“You’re beautiful” he said bluntly, his finger pointing the picture they just took. It was raw but it was good so he liked it. Perhaps it would be the only one he would keep.

Kieran’s stilled at the sudden gathering. So right now there seemed to be four people in one conversation. It was hard to keep up with one conversation but now it was four. Was someone tugging strings or testing him? Maybe he should go make a dash… things would be easier.

Sawyer Celen

Oh good, they haven't disappeared. Sawyer was finally convinced he hadn't gone crazy. On top of that, all the people in front of him seemed like wonderful people, even the two who seem detached. He'd love nothing more than to help them feel the excitement of such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, one of them looked just about ready to pass out. He looked over toward Kieran and gave out subtle laughter as he managed to read his lips. "Yeah, I can be pretty annoying." His words were laced with humor and a humble tone. "But at least I like telling people how pretty their eyes are." He was gazed straight at the boy and spoke with such clarity one would think he really does tell everyone. Before turning away, he made sure Kieran got the message as he lingered with a flirty smile on his face.

Relocating he focus to Dante, Sawyer let out his hand and shook it firmly. "Hey, I'm doing great man." He spoke calmly but one could sense his excitement. "Just found this wonderful place with you guys in it." His smile was really genuine, taking pleasure out of social interaction. It was like fuel to him. Before continuing his conversation with Dante, he spoke with Gina. Giving a wide grin, he nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly like Tom Sawyer. I can't say the name is as beautiful as Gina though." Facing back to Dante, he took a moment and realized how buff he actually was. "How are you man? You've definitely been hitting the gym." Sawyer lightly punched at Dante's chest with his grin not changing. He could feel the muscle just with that. Never piss off this guy. It was a joke of course but it was true. Dante could easily take out Sawyer. "Good thing I'm friendly!"

Gina's face grew wide in shock, "I'm sorry..." She began to turn red although the embarrassed feeling stopped when she felt a piercing slap in the back.

"Sorry to interrupt your mating session Gin, but we're going to blow your card and get our selves a f*cking luxury suite. That's cool, right b*tch? Of course it is! Your parents don't f*cking care!" Hannah walked by carrying both Penny's stuff and her's. She moved all of the bags into one arm and with her free hand Hannah slipped into Gina's back pocket looking for her credit card. "Jackpot!" Hannah waved the card around and headed toward the front desk to get a room for the 5 of them. Penny was walking behind Hannah snapping pictures with her iPhone of the entire place. "Oh my look at that!"*snap*"Oh and that too!" *snap*. Lola and Nicolas trailed behind them shuffling around with bags and bags of all of Nicolas's beauty products. "Honestly Nick I don't know why you need so much stuff. Not even Penny carries three different kinds of shampoos." Nicolas scoffed, "One it for moisturizing, the other is for volume, and the last just smell pretty. Not that it's any of your business."

"Yeah that's fine!" Gina said quickly trying to dismiss her group of rowdy friends while trying to show that it was completely normal that Hannah just slipped her hand inside Gina's pocket. "Sorry about that," she said back to the guy standing next to her. Gina could feel a little bit of awkwardness between them. She didn't know if it was only her, or if he felt it too. "I better get going, before they end up getting an overcharge. I'll see you around!" Gina grabbed her stuff and ran down to the front desk to meet up with her group of weirdos.

@Cami

Ari shook her head. She looked around, her vision a bit fuzzy. After a few seconds she made out a lobby as she finished shaking her head. She rubbed her eyes, her vision slowly clearing. She looked around. "Hello?" She asked into the blackness. She walked forward a bit, her legs kind of wobbly. She already had a room, judging from the key in her back pocket. She began to look for people.

Walter got tired of waiting for the reception. It looked like no one was working at the hotel, except for the blondie that delivered him the hotel form. He returned to the lobby hall and set at his chair. There were more people around, and they looked like they were from the chatty kind. Great. As if his day wasn't horrible already. He crossed his arms. Sooner or later someone would come to get his check in. And now people were taking pictures. Walter always hated photographers, as if they were practicing some kind of pseudo art that was never actually as beautiful as they thought it would be. And then jokes and jokes and jokes, everybody was talking. Is this a hotel or a party? As long as they didn't bothered him, fine. He looked back at the form at his hands, pretending to be reading. At least that way no one would try to talk to him.

Xavier walked into the main lobby, his nose buried in a planner. The rims of his glasses were barely visible beyond the leather-bound edge of his well-worn planner. He penciled something in quickly and shut the book, finally taking off his glasses and looking up.

"Oh!" Xavier started, noticing a group of people at the desk and a few others hanging around the lobby. He set his glasses on the front desk and assumed his place behind it. "Terribly sorry. Celeste did tell me we had some new guests, but it seems my judgement about how many may have been a tad off." He smiled politely, addressing Gina, who seemed the least rowdy of her group. "It's certainly been busy with all the new guests recently. But that's no excuse at all for my lateness. Sincerest apologies." Xavier cleared his throat, having done his best to void any negative feelings they might have had about him taking so long. "Now then. How may I help you?"

Kieran stared at Sawyer and was completely unconvinced. Suspicious guy. Suspicious guy. Ah - it seemed like the world was tumbling upside down. He couldn't handle socialisation. He was just a misanthrope who didn't speak to anyone and if he did it was only occasionally or criticism. He toom a deep breath after calming his nerves and rubbed his palms against his clothing. Who knew his head could go so fast in one day.

"You hide behind pretty words. Please speak to me once you have gained a conscious to talk to someone personally" he frowned. His eyes did soften though after he was done. He bit his lower lip. Old habits die hard.

Kieran didn't reply to Gina. He wasn't sure whether he wanted to speak to her again or at least get to know her. He was too shy for that but he at least go the strength to give her a slight smile. A forced one but it would do.

"Bye" he chocked.

@NessieAlways @mauvexkitteh

Ari looked around and spotted a group of people. She walked up to them, kind of shy. She wasn't normally the type to look for friends but she had no choice. "Hey." She said. She tried to sound as relaxed as possible. She didn't want to seem to weird. Then again, she was always considered weird. She sighed mentally before turning her attention back to the people in front of her.

A man on glasses came up, and he mentioned blondie. It looked like he worked for the hotel. "Finally, some reception, eh?", Walter mumbled. He walked towards the man and gave him his form filled out with his information. "There you go. By the way, it isn't specified how much the room costs around here. How am I paying if I don't know the price?"
